Nice Service Apartment”
Comfortable to stay and will come again next time
Perfect for one night”
Perfect hotel for a one night stay. Rooms were a little small so it would get cramped if you had to stay longer. Perfect for staying for an event at Minute Maid Park.
I love CQ Hotels”
This is now the 2nd time that I have stayed at a CQ Hotel. Both times have been fantastic. It seems that they focus on revitalizing old buildings or old hotels. I love the architecture and the old interior design that are kept original but cleaned, added to, and well maintained. The Lobby and Rooms are excellent and I love the purified water on every floor and the free snacks in the business lounge area. The gym at this Houston CQ was huge, with tons of equipment. I really enjoy staying at CQ Hotels.
One of the best hotel i've been in
Good, but can be better.”
We stayed here twice this month, the first time was very nice. Room was clean, it was tidied up daily. However on our second stay of 2 nights, the beds and room was not made for the next night even if we did not leave the privacy sign at the door; they gave us twin beds when we requested for single king/queen. Actually, for the first stay they also gave us twin beds but they were the one who put the 2 beds together to form a single huge bed. The amenities are exceptional tho, free drinking water on each floor with bottles available as well, snacks, fruits, coffee/tea and soda are offered daily at the lobby, with happy hour daily for wines from 5 to 6pm. The location is very accessible, very near the main station/main street and numerous bus stops around, with a few restaurants that are open until 2am. All in all, good stay, just a bit disappointed on our second stay back.
Rooms were extremely small. I was told that Club Quarters caters to the business travelers. Accommodations were adiquate for that, but I have medical issues and there was no space for my dialysis treatments and equipment.
Nice Hotel and Good Location”
I stayed one night in the hotel. Location is really good, easy access to get metro and other tram bus services. Staff was really helpfull. Hotel and room was clean and tidy.
the television did not operate. plz fix it.
Met expectations ”
Good location and value for money. Free laundry is a very big plus
Overall a great hotel experience with a few hiccups.”
The staff is moderately friendly, but still very helpful. I was originally given the wrong room. The lady at the check in desk resolved the issue right away, but wasn't very polite. The room was spotless upon arrival, and housekeeping did a great job of cleaning out the trash, replacing towels, etc throughout my stay.
Staff was horrible ,no hospitality at all, rooms reminded of like a hospital
Weekend opera vacation ”
Good food down stairs
Great location ”
The location of the hotel was great all in walking distance to many family oriented places. The only thing would be if the front desk would be friendly as well as vallet. However when we left vallet was wonderfully pleasant left with a smile and satisfied.
Walls are so thin you can hear the next room over whispering at next. $285 for three nights not bad when I checked in $409 was the hotel debited from my card. A non refundable deposit. Oh and you pay for parking valet. $25 a night. Small rooms better off at La Quinta.
It was a OK staying experience ”
The stay was ok overall. Downtown area wasn't safe and secure, that's how i felt. Too much homeless and drunken folks. The apartment hotel is very busy and always occupied. (I think they having contract with United Airlines, mostly the cabin crews, captains are staying at this hotel). The housekeeping can't speak English and they are mostly Mexican.I have to use google translate to speak with them. They are not really friendly too :( One big disadvantage is the room doesn't have in room safe. Oh, they doesn't have parking lot, you have to pay the valet charges at $21.60 with tax per day. Or, find your own parking (walking distance, but at the end paying almost the same parking rate according to receptionist from the hotel).
satisfied, 2nd stay, price not so good”
Within walking distance to attractions! Comfortable rooms with high speed WiFi
Good hotel, good location”
This hotel is suiting for business and also couple trip to Houston. The location is very good, we can go to some local eats like Bombay Pizza or indian cuisine and also the fancy restaurant like Morton's Steakhouse in just 5' walking. But the area is a little bit scare at night with a lot of homeless bear metro station...
location is good”
Decent location in the city with bars and restaura”
I had a late check in a t 2am w/ no problem. If you want a late check out its about 38usd up to 3pm. A little pricey I thought. The location and hotel is good and it suited my needs for a meeting close by. The staff was willing to help.
