Very relaxing and sunny!”

My wife and I went to stay at the Coachman Resort for two nights and stayed four, I think we were here at a good and cheaper time of the year as we heard that it is twice the price at least in the holiday season. We had a very nice room with views over looking the inlet and ocean where you see a variety of birds including pelicans! It is only a minutes walk to a sea wall that is popular for fishing....not that I or any one else for that matter caught any thing!....But still relaxing and enjoyable. There are plenty of take away shops close by and several super markets within a 2 minute drive. We had a very nice stay in a Queenslander cabin for the last three nights which was a lot nicer than the castaway ones, and the price was fair (especially in the upgraded cabin!) at $99.00 Aud a night, we thought it was good value for the location. We would stay again but hope not to have to as we are now looking at moving permantly to Batemans Bay! Love the place!!

Although the Resort is in a great location and has excellent facilities we were disappointed in the cost against the unit provided. We booked online and the room we were given was nothing like what we booked (queen bed instead of a king...). As we were only staying 2 nights we didn't want to make a fuss. We also noticed that the room was very tired in fixtures and fittings except the kitchen which appears to be in reasonably new condition although there were ants on the kitchen bench where food preparation is carried out.Bottom line, we did not get what we paid for.

We arrived on a rainy weather but it didn't bother us, the villa is so homie and clean. We like the resort set up just like taking vacation on tropical country.

Cosy, private accommodations”

It was a lovely stay. I like how we could park our car right next to our door. The cabin we had was rather cosy, and the kitchen is very well-equipped with cutleries and cooking facilities i.e. stove, toaster, flask etc. However, the air-conditioner was located in the living room where the kitchen also is, and this resulted in the bedroom not being sufficiently warmed up. The toilet located next to the bedroom was freezing. The resort felt very safe and quiet. They did not allow parties, and there were gantries for you to tap an access card before you can enter the resort.

We enjoyed it so much we returned for a further two nights. The Resort looked so good - individually styled villas with gardens and with water views and walks.

A week of relaxation”

We had a self-catered holiday unit with river view. It was so relaxing sitting on the verandah watching the fishing boats come and go, the pelicans fly overhead and the fish jump in the water. The unit provided all the facilities required for us to self cater very adequately.

Little piece of paradise”

Rest place to stay beautiful villas very quiet, right on the beach, lots of activities for the whole family, or just relax in a quiet garden or on the beach by yourself. Close to the main shopping district and restaurants and clubs close by. Would definitely stay again.

Sadly the on site restaurant was closed. However, we were directed to the Catalina Club which was very acceptable.

nice cabin suitable for couple & family. good place for a getaway or stopover along the coastal drive.

There were so many cockroaches in the apartment we stayed. For $215 a night, I expected the place to be cleaner than that. I won’t go back.

The office ladies were nothing short of amazing and helpful throughout the booking process. The accomodation was a lovely home away from home with a short walk to a quiet, awesome beach

hey we were only there for 1 nite and it did the job. the place is a little dated but it waz comfortable. this waz our second stay there and we had a slightly bigger cabin this time. but overall we would stay again
