Good budget option.”
Praslin is expensive and this place represents good value. It is very simple and rustic, in a big pretty garden with the natural nearby appearance of insects and lizards, has a good amount of space and many thoughtful touches. No air conditioning but the two fans were sufficient for us, Wifi only in the front pavilion but it worked fine, no breakfast option but has a fridge and a nice big communal kitchen for cooking and is a short walk to stores and eating places as well as the beach and bus stop. Our bed was a smaller double, not a queen, we are medium-sized and just fit, larger or taller people might have trouble. The owner is wonderfully friendly, she answered all our questions, helped us arrange a last minute boat trip and even gave us a lift to the starting point. Her helpers are lovely too. Highly recommended for those on a budget with realistic expectations!

Amazing place, excellent location and great staff!”
They welcomed us before the check in time with a cold wet towel (trust me, you will need it). Our room was perfect, had a fridge, kettle, safe box and mosquito net above the bed. Outside was a pergola where you had good wifi (signal reached the room), also a livingroom and fully equiped kitchen. The owner let us leave our bags the last day and even use the room to take a shower way after the check out. Really helpful! The hotel is a couple minutes walk to the beach and bus stop. Also near mini market and places to eat.

Valuable! 7 mins to bus stop (Cote Dor)! ”
1. it offers mosquito net, kettle, fridge, kitchen, frwifi 8:00am~21:00pm, air conditioner time: 18:00pm~9:00am 2. i borrowed a basin to wash my clothes, it offered a big RACK & clothes pegs to dry washing clothes! they also offers laundry service is SCR100 expensive! 3. I took bus(to "Anse Boudin" on the bus LED board) from Praslin airport stop to "Cote Dor" bus stop, which is the nearest stop to "Coco bay Villa", after you get off bus, just go back/rear direction then turn right into a very narrow/small alley, then go straight until the end, you will find "COCO BAY VILLA " on your right side. or YOU GET OFF , YOU will find a big restaurant called "La Goulue Restaurant", then you will find a board show you "coco bay villa" direction! i was taking a big luggage about 28 inches and a handy bag with me, i was polite to ask bus driver if let me get on bus with 1 luggage ? then, bus driver told me that i could! 4. No.2 ROOM is wonderful! i could connect WI-FI at my private garden.

Place is OK, could be bettter maintained but the manager does not really care or apologize”
Manager forgot to organize a pick up from the ferry dock and did not say sorry for that. The light in the kitchen does not work, internet did not work for a few days, the tab broke frequently and again no sorry for that. Instead she argued a lot. The place is OK,kitchen equipment could be better, cleaning staff works hard and is nice, but you just dont feel in good hands because the manager is a bit unfriendly.

Nice place and staff was helpful after masked man came into our room one night and stole my bag. ”
Maybe a few warnings about the hazards (theft) in the area would’ve been great upon check in.

Decent beach 5 minutes walk. 10 minutes walk from market. Few restaurants within 15 minutes walk. Bus stop about 7 minutes walk making it good place to stay to visit the island. Fridge, cooker, plates and ustensiles supplied but not enough cooking gear.

Perfect stay in Cote D'Or (Praslin)”
We had a pleasant stay here. Our room was spacious and clean. The staff here is very helpful. Jeanne arranged for us everything we asked her to (tours, taxis, etc). There are some good restaurants in 5 minutes walk from the property. The house is very close to Anse Volbert and to Cote D'Or bus station. Using the bus to move around the island was very convenient for us.

Good location near the beach”
Location was good near the beach but it was also peaceful at the same time. Rooms were not new but they were clean and neat. Service was very friendly. Only minus was that the wifi was only available on the pergola.

Too many conditions!”
The best thing about this guest house is that it is a 5 minute walk from the Cote D'Or beach. We arrived in Praslin by the 7:30 am ferry from Mahe, so we were at the guest house by 9am. However, our room wasn't ready and we weren't given a room till 11am. Meanwhile, we whiled away time at the beach. The wifi is only available in public areas. The air conditioner is allowed to be used only between 6pm and 9am. So while we were given the room at 11 am, we couldn't use the air conditioner till 6pm. The guest house is close to the ATM and a super market. A take away truck was also stationed next to the super market. Anse Lazio beach was about a 20 minute drive from the guest house, and we were able to return before dark. The room (we were given room 2) was comfortable. The bathroom's cold water tap was non-functional, so we made do with the hot water tap, which didn't supply hot water, only lukewarm. A shared kitchen is available between guests in three rooms. The toilet did not have a bidet, like most places in Seychelles. Amenities provided included, stove, toaster and rice maker in the common kitchen. There was a fridge and mirror in the room itself. A full size mirror was right outside the room. The beds made a creaking noise everytime we turned in sleep. There were two single beds with almost queen size mattresses. No safe lock available in the room, though you could lock the room.

Very nice Guesthouse ”
The guesthouse is very nice and clean. Also the stuff is very friendly and welcoming. We had a standard room, because in the bungalow the toilet is not really separated from the rest of the room. The only weird thing is that you are told, that you are just allowed to use the airport from 6pm to 9am and you will be told again if you use the aircon out of these times.

Amazing little paradise near the beach”
Big room with aircon, good clean bathroom and a well equipped communal kitchen. The garden is lovely and there is a cozy patio where you can dine and relax. Owner Jeanne is very sweet and helpful. The internet is somewhat slow, but that is everywhere on the island. And who needs internet anyway, when you have such a gorgeous beach at only a five minute walk! Stayed three nights, could have stayed a week.

Nice self catering in quite neighbourhood”
Good! Airco, Nice bed, Nice room, all quite well too be honest! Friendly people as well. The fridge was a bit smelly but she cleaned it right away. She gave us a fruit basket for our honeymoon! WiFi was really slow, a point of improvement. Well located a few minutes walking from a lovely beach, and 5/10 minutes from the stores and 10/15 minutes to dive centre and other rasta guys that sell cheaper trips to other islands. All with all recommendable if it stays below the 60€.
