My family and I stayed at this lovely accommodation and was truly amazed! The bungalows were very cute and modern. I felt this was the perfect place to get away from the hustle bustle of the city. There are beaches close by and easy to get to via motorbike or taxi. The owners/hosts were absolutely amazing and made us feel at home. Our family took a cooking class and it was well worth it making delicious traditional Vietnamese food.We had a wonderful experience at this property and would definitely return again.

Absolutely outstanding stay at Coco Bungalows. Family owned and operated - and they make you feel like family from day 1. It’s very informal and trusting. Bao and his Dad are nice and honest people. They were very generous to us... flexibility with check in and check out, free breakfast, cheap drinks, and free bicycles to ride to the beach. 10 min scooter ride out of Hoi An. The rooms were clean and beautiful. Wifi was great. Would 100% recommend.

It might be a tad further than other accommodation options but that’s not an issue of you have a bicycle or moped. They have plenty here for you to use too! Lovely place and extremely safe. Very friendly and will do anything to make sure you’re happy and comfortable. I would highly recommend.

I was not expecting anything more than what I get! Its a cute & pleasant place, new, clean & well maintained. Owner, Mr Lai & whole family go out of the way to make me feel comfortable & belonged. I usually start with a night to hv a feel at any accommodations, I ended up being there for 8 nights. Mr Lai would usually give me options with breakfast, also brought me to the local market once to sample local delicacies. He always ensure I feel comfortable. One day I could not decide to go Hue coz I hate taking public transport or being in a tour group. At a very last minute he decided to take me solo in his family car & voila! we went! I didnt even ask for the charge as yet but I believe he will not overcharge me which yes he didnt. We had a very comfortable day to Hue with a couple of stops to sample local hue delicacies which was very nice. Everything was personal & saying goodbye to him at the end of my stay was a little emotional, he was too... You need own bike to move around ;)

This accomodation is runned by a very kind and hardworking family. They all do their absolut best to make sure you’ll have a pleasant stay. To Old Town it’s about 15 mins driving but you can rent a motorbike from them or they’ll call you a taxi (about 150k dong one-way). We definitely recommend this place!

We arrived earlier than our allotted check-in time, but Lai and his family were extremely welcoming and allowed us to check-in early for a small fee of 100,000vnd. However, this was swiftly refunded when he realised we were heading out into Hoi An City and therefore would not be using any power until later in the day - a lovely gesture which he did not have to do. The setting off the bungalow is so peaceful and genuinely beautiful. We stayed in a deluxe bungalow which was very reasonably priced for such a lovely place. On one occasion we realised that we had left a bag behind in the city and he quickly offered to ring the restaurants we had been in or near to see if they had seen our belongings - luckily it was nothing important but Lai took it upon himself to try very hard to retrieve what we had lost - another very kind gesture. The bungalows are set a little way out of the city (about a 15 minute journey costing 100,000vnd in a grab taxi) but we felt that this was nice as you were away from the business of the city. Although we did not use them, Lai offered bikes and motorbikes to help us get around if we wanted. To top it all off, they even had many cute kittens. A great stay made even better by such a friendly family.

Although the hotel is not located in Hoi An City it is easy to get there (Bike, motorbike or walk) Thr bungalows are absolutely lovely and the staff is great. The owner will help you with every request you have. Let him help you organize your transfers, as he will always organize the cheapest way for you. By the way he is also a great cook. We had a wonderful stay in Coco Rivers.

One of the best experiences I had”
It's a small brand new hotel run by the owner, and he's into every detail. He was the one who picked us up at Da Nang's airport (even though our airport was delayed)! The rooms are big and confortable, and the general display of the hotel is nice (it's exactly like the pictures you can find). Breakfast is good (the only downside is that coffee and juice are not included, but they are not expensive). But what stands out is the effort spent in making your stay as confortable as possible! The hotel is not inside Hoi An city, but it's 10-15 minutes motorcycle ride away (they will rent you a motorcycle at a really cheap price); the owner has a van that he uses to drive passengers into town at night (1 usd per person). Overall, it's a GREAT stay, where you will feel at a friend's home; we (my wife and I) loved it. If we ever come back to Hoi An, will be staying at this hotel for sure.

I needed to kick back and get away from the noise in the cities. Coco was awesome because I could be in Hoi an in 20 minutes on a bike ..and the beach in 3 I would take the back roads along the river and stop at a cafe for a beer where you had a choice of a hammock or chair. It was not unusual for people to take a snooze The bungalow is situated in peanut and corn The neighbors love the visitors and some will invite you for a coffee or rice wine and not except money. My one night turned into 12.

Great staff, very clean”
The owner and his family live in the bungalows as well so they were always available and very eager to help. We stayed as a group of 5 in the family room and the beds and bathroom were all clean and the room was big. The breakfast was bread, bananas, noodles, and eggs. Our first morning the owner asked us if we wanted him to make anything for breakfast and he made a great soup to go with the noodles! The location is a bit far but you're in Hoi An most of the day anyway so you only need to pay for 2 trips a day (plus he can get you a good deal with taxi drivers). If you're looking for snacks or tea in the area, I totally recommend King and Queens because they have the best and cheapest milk tea I had in all Vietnam! Would definitely recommend this hostel.

Come here to be close enough to Hoi An and the beach by bike or taxi, but away from the busy tourist areas. Above all, the host was amazing... he really made us feel at home and offered us a complimentary Vietnamese cooking class, followed by enjoying the great meal with his family. The bungalows are very modern and spacious, with everything you need for an enjoyable and comfortable stay.... although a higher shower would be nice 😉 Will love to come back for a 'cook it yourself' wood barbecue!

The room is exactly like the picture. The host, from how he dressed, might be from some high land; he was so honest, straight forward and friendly. Room was decent and clean. The cats they had there were friendly. I only have 2 complains: 1: the place is pretty far from Hoi An ancient town (about 15 min drive). So we had to hire a scooter from our host to make our trip easier. 2: The rooms are not noice-proof. At 1:30am, there were a group of Americans coming back to their room. They were not super noisy, but we could hear everything they said from our room, and that woke us up. I will stay at this property again if I have another chance to visit Hoi An.

Great stay, amazing service”
This hotel is brand spanking new (just a month old) and Lai was a helpful and enthusiastic host who was only too willing to help. Thank you for a wonderful stay and everything you did for us including a VERY early check in and a VERY late check out, laundry, private taxi to da nang, motor bike hire, wonderful and different breakfasts every morning. Next time I will definitely take up the offered cooking lessons. The owner was also previously a tour guide and had his own restaurant so he is a great source of info and yummy food. Recommend anyone to go to coco river bungalows especially if they want to stay slightly out of town for some peace and quiet. :)

Ideal place for enjoy the peacefulness”
The (family) owner is very nice, kind and helpful. They raise a little kitten named Kitty, so cute. Room is clean, furnitures are new high quality, the bed so soft. Noted: This place is 6km from center of Hoi An, if you would like to stay away from a lively downtown, I highly recommend this place.
