Two thumbs up!”
I took the risk of booking this hotel during my trip to Bohol despite some unpleasant reviews since I was looking for a budget friendly stay - And i wasn’t disappointed! We had a great and comfy stay without spending too much! The room was clean, the bed was cozy, AC functioning well and a cabled TV. The bathroom was nice and tidy too! I heard they’re currently renovating rooms and luckily we got one of the renovated ones so it was a super perfect stay. Plus the staffs are all welcoming especially MARLON who assisted us all throughout and made sure we have a comfortable stay. I will definitely recommend this hotel especially for budget travelers like me! Location is in between Panglao and Tagbilaran so you will be just one ride away to the city center for food trips. Also it’s just like 15-20mins away from the airport :)

Thanks for such a lovely review, Jan! We will strive to keep up with your expectations always. Regards, Zara
Handy when not on Bohol for beaches”
I booked two nights here because it is the location of friendly Island Rentals, which I used to hire a motorbike for my stay here. I was not in Bohol for beaches, so its proximity to the main road and access to the interior is very appreciated. The rooms themselves are nothing to write home about, but the price point is not too far off anyways. That being said, a quick trip out to the main Panglao locations is not that far.

Exceptional”
The customer service was beyond my expectation especially the owners , I really appreaciate Mr & Mrs Yap (sister of the Owner ) for their kindness. They are still revamping the facilities to give every tourist a place to stay and be more comfortable. I think they also offer free airport/pier - hotel tranfer if you book directly to them. ( if Im not mistaken )

Friendly staff and value for money”
We spent 2 nights with our toddler. Our stay was comfortable and the staff was very accomodating and friendly. Surprisingly, we were served breakfast with the rate that we booked! It was indeed a good deal. Although, toiletries were not provided in the room, overall experience still exceeded our expectation.

Thank you for rating us, Winde! We have duly noted your feedback and ensure better services in the future. Regards, Kevin
Great place, typical Filipino style service”
One thing that is a surprise, they knew we were coming and already had the air conditioning turned on so the room was cool when we walked in. Agoda's deal wasn't as good as the real deal when paying the hotel direct. Their normal service included breakfast and transportation to the airport or pier. Agoda's deal was the room only.

Must Arrange Transport for Food/Tourist Sites”
This hotel is right across the bridge from Tagbilaran, but it is not convenient for tourism purposes. We had to rent a motorcycle for P 1,000/day from the hotel to do anything, including get food. Alona Beach is about a 30 minute motorcycle ride, and the Chocolate Hills a little over an hour. Also, we never received the supposedly free breakfast and transport that is touted on the official hotel website. While the hotel was tidy and decent enough, I highly discourage tourists from staying here because it is an extremely inconvenient location. Also, the wifi only works downstairs by the front desk.

Great location and homely ambiance”
we enjoyed our stay at the hotel, hotel staff are very helpful and kind. the location of the hotel is very strategic, it's very near dauis church and bayoyoy. also near tagbilaran city proper. so if you need something, you can easily go to the malls in tagbilaran city. the only problem with the hotel is food. the don't serve good food, this is the area that needs to be improve by the management of the hotel. but there are food stores nearby where you can buy food.

avoid”
Unfortunately, despite the friendly staff, this hotel was a great disappointment. We would not go there again. The room would have been adequate if properly maintained but on arrival there was no water supply to the bathroom. It appears that this had been turned off deliberately - when turned on again, we realised why it had been turned off, i.e. a constant trickle of water from the shower. The water heater for the shower only worked intermittently. During our stay the room was not cleaned very well and we had to ask for the toilet tissue to be replaced when it had run out. Despite the above, the worst thing was that the restaurant (much touted on the hotel website) seems to have been closed. It is possible to get a (poor) breakfast but that is all. For other meals you must go out. The only restaurant within walking distance, for which we were given only vague directions, turned out to be further than we expected and not worth the walk - everything we tried to order from the limited menu was "off". Surprisingly, there is free wifi - a plus point but not enough to make us go there again.

It tries”
It started out wrong with multiple double bookings, the front desk person that spoke not English and did not really care about the problem, just that he did not do it so oh well. The manager was not there and could not be reached. Luckily they were able to find me a room, but the following person was not so happy. Just got a feeling of not caring from the staff in general. Breakfast was adequate if you like cold eggs and maybe toasted white bread with only butter. Did not have the bacon. The rooms was good but my window AC had issues freezing up at night and not draining properly. The bathroom sink waterline was cut so had to use a small bucket, provided, to shave and brush my teeth. No shower curtain but that was not too unusual. The internet never did work and again nobody seemed to care or do anything about it.

ok”
Unfortunately they dont know so much about the tours at Alona beach so we missed the dolphins because they told us a time which was too late. The hotel was clean, breakfast was ok, although a little small.

Ok place if your on a budget. ”
This is an ok place to stay if you are on a budget. However you will need to rent a motorbike - which was quite expensive. The two youngest members of staff were no help at all, and half the time did not know what was going on! The room was very small, but the bed was comfy. Warm water in the shower. Overall not too bad.

ghost town hotel”
my reservation has breakfast included. i asked if they can have it served earlier because we'll have a tour, the guy in the reception said, they serve breakfast at 6am. i was asking if they can have it packed since we'll be leaving at 5am, he said no. ads says wifi in room, but there isn't. tv is 14" and doesn't have cable and a good reception.

Needs an upgrade”
The 1st room that we were in has a dysfunctional toilet flash, the toilet door knob was damaged (I was locked inside and need to call the staff to unlock me from the outside). The 2nd room that we were transferred in was just fine except that the cable TV has no signal during rain. No bidet. There were limited number of tricycles or any public transpo in the area. I had a diarrhea after drinking water from their water dispenser. Breakfast was okay. Choices of longanisa, ham, and corned beef with rice and egg with free coffee. First extra pillow was free but with fee on 2nd. Bed was okay though a little small. We stayed in triple room with one single and one double bed. Toiletries include shampoo and (very) small soap with towel. Around 15 mins from Tagbilaran City. If you want vacation away from everything, you will like it here.

I would never go back to this hotel”
The hotel is very far from everywhere If you want to eat you have to take a taxi to the city There is nothing near the hotel is about one mile away from the sea Even you walk to the sea there is no access They have internet but very slow and you can not open any page I asked if they can fix the internet and always said we are working on it Looks like they are not paying for high speed connection I would not recommend to any one unless you have your own transportation I am sure you can find a better hotel for the same money
