friendly staff, good value for money and homey.
Not at its best. There was power outage in the morning and the generator was up and running only in the afternoon.

boracay is great place for family or group vacatio
near the beach. good for group accomodation, with limited budget.
they don't change linens. linen smells old. faucets needs repair. and only 2 plug ins. i'd rather pay extra to be in a better cottage or hotel.

Disappointed because we have to upgrade our room.
Cheap, conveniently located in local restaurants & public market
the hotel has open cottages where you can eat & cook your own food. Drinks are very affordable. Air condition unit is not working well, we have to request additional fan and they provided it after 2 days.

          Extremely basic but decent location
          location
The hotel is pretty basic - essentially, expect what you would expect from a hostel, but with private rooms. We booked a "deluxe" room which had an aircon unit that sounded like a speedboat engine when turned on. The room was not cleaned once during our week-long stay (so don't expect fresh linen, towels or other housekeeping as you would in a regular hotel). We were given two single beds which wasn't very helpful for us as a couple, but I actually don't know if the hotel has any double rooms since all the other rooms we saw had multiple single beds in them. The room is fine if you just want a matress to sleep on at night and plan on spending all your time on the beach/elsewhere, but even so, bear in mind the shower is barely a trickle (making it hard to rinse saltwater/shampoo out of long hair), the aircon is extremely noisy (making it impossible to keep it on during the night, and therefore meaning the room gets hot), and if you are planning a longer stay, the cleanliness of the room will deteriorate during the course of the stay as there is no housekeeping in the interim.

          Wrong Choice of Hotel
          3 mins walk to beach
I am disappointed with the stay at St. Vincent Cottages / Coco Rimas as there is no free Wifi. The information put up by Agoda is wrong, have to pay 200 pesos for the wifi each day. The aircon unit is noisy and the colour of the TV is something...red becomes blue. The pillows got foul moisture smell and the towels fibres will stick to your body.
