We stayed 2 nights in a king efficiency room. The room was huge and very clean. It had a small kitchen that was very convenient. Our room overlooked the bay and we saw 2 beautiful sunsets! A few downsides- the bathrooms and furnishings are dated, and the bar a block over is loud at night.

Nice hotel at a good price. One issue is having an additional $12 a day cleaning fee up front, but then they are not cleaning rooms right now during your stay.

Just a one night getaway but very enjoyable. Just a quick 5 minute walk to the beach. Had difficulty getting through to the hotel prior to visit, put on hold with long waits (not during peak times), but during stay staff very accommodating.

Outdated resort”
For the amount of money during 4th of July weekend the place could had been better. Bathroom was remodeled, sofa bed was old and outdated, balcony was small, elevator was old and had scuff marks all over them, only one parking pass per room, pool was nice, no breakfast or restaurant, no throw rug in the room like the pics on the website., room doors were old, 2 blocks from the beach, 12 dollars a day resort fee plus 100 dollar security deposit required at check in

The suite was very roomy and we had a full kitchen but there were many small things that needed repairs like cracked tiles, loosed toilet paper holder, mildew in shower, drawers were not lined up, etc. The suite was very dated from the 80s but it was very large and we had a good night sleep. The only nuisance was when fagars island closed everyone parts in coconut malorie parking lot and at 2am every one was hanging out in the front lot. Other than that it was quiet.

If you are looking for uneven floors , falling down ceiling paint and no hot water this is the place for you!!! Please get up at least 35-45 minutes ahead to turn the tub faucet on hot be cause that’s how long it takes for the water to get warm, but look on the bright side at least Fagers island is close for you to get some alcohol in you body to warm you up after that cold shower

This is 1 of my favorite places to stay, my husband and I try to stay here at least twice out the year before Covid, so this was our 1st time going back since 2/2020 and I’m not sure what has happened but it wasn’t as clean as usual.

I was very disappointed with my stay. It was overpriced to begin with then we had several issues such as the internet not working, the jacuzzi broken, and pool table that was advertised was not in the game room. Finally, my son left his retainer behind and we returned to the room just one hour after check out while the cleaners were still in the room and not only did no one seem to have seen it they wouldn't even let me go through the trash to search. I even offered a cash reward to anyone who would help me but no one could be bothered. Every time I tried to address any of these issues I was met with indifferent rudeness from all the staff. Both the daytime and evening front desk as well as the manager and maintenance person, all of them seemed completely annoyed with me any time I tried to ask them anything. I am highly aware of how abusive hotel guests can be and I was very mindful of being respectful of them and their work. But at no point did anyone express any desire to help me or even care how I felt about our experience. I understand some of the issues were out of their hands but they never apologized, offered solutions, or tried to make it right. When we left I spoke with the manager and told her I'd like to share my feedback and after I spoke she said well you are entitled to your opinion. It was ridiculous. I have never experienced such rudeness in a customer service situation when they are literally in the business of providing a good experience for guests. I'd rather sleep at Target where at least people understand that their job is to help you. I'm going back to Air BnBs. This experience put me off to hotels period.

Every thing other then cleanliness and how the front desk deals with things was okay, the room its self was gorgeous but the issue lies in other residents and how the hotel deals with them Residents were bringing in alcohol and food INTO the pool and hot tub and food wrappers were falling in and staff did nothing, as well while i was in my room on my bed the guests causing the mess were looking and yelling into my room from the pool deck trying to antagonize us, we are 18 and 20, they were a family of 7. If you like your hotel to take care and pride in how clean they are- especially with the virus going around- do not make this your place to stay. As well there is signs everywhere saying you must wear a mask at all times and even staff does not.

Air conditioning was broke in the entire hotel, and they would not waive the resort fee for the days the air conditioning did not work. Big pile of bird shit in the stairwell, disgusting.

We first had an issue with the payment which was rejected. When we got to Coconut Malorie, our bank cards would not be accepted so we had to pay with cash. Please note that our bank cards had no problems being accepted right before we checked in. Secondly, we were promised a certain room confirmed by two associates and when we checked in, we were told that that room was not available due to HVAC issues. The next morning, another associate told me that she did not understand why we were told that there were HVAC problems when another guest was checked into the promised room. She said that there was no other rooms available to move us to. I told her that you guaranteed us the room your self and she did find a suitable room for us at that point. On the second day of our stay, housekeeping did not clean the room. When I called the front desk, they said that they will put this in the book. When we mentioned this again the next morning, there was no apologies, just that they will make

The bed was very comfy. View of the bay beautiful. Room smells odd at first, open windows & it airs out. Tile in the room is squeaky w/ shoes/bare feet. Very kind staff, right in front of Fagers Island (amazing party place). Our tub jets were broken, didnt complain b/c having so much fun but im sure staff would have been helpful. Kitchenette was nice came w/ pots, pans, plates, silverware. Nice fridge. All in all a very nice visit.
