A quiet belvedere dominating the sea.”
Good welcome by the staff, wide apartments with a very nice view to the sea and the surrounding and coast in a green area. Apartment very comfortable, quiet, spacious clean. The aircon system is efficient and not noisy (no common in the Philippines). Very convenient access to the swimming pool, with a nice view to the sea, close to the restaurant. All the staff is very welcoming. Free shuttle every hour (from 8:00am to midnight) to go to the attractive and touristic area 'D*mall' and its front sea with a lot of restaurants and entertainments areas, close to the downtown. If in-house restaurant is a possibility, for those who prefer stay quiet in their apartment: good services of a local Pizzeria (LOLA's PIZZA) delivering on time, at correct prices. From the hotel: very convenient venue to practice morning jogging on a secure small road going to Mt Luho, with nice view on the sunrise. Good transportation service from the Caticlan Airport to all hotels of Boracay (including boat to join Boracay island) for 800 php go and back by people. Tickets sold in the flight by airlines companies (Cebu Pacific for instance) Basically Boracay is a very touristic island, with a lot of hotels agglutinated around down-town or very touristic zone, Cohiba Villas Hotel is an excellent choice for those who are looking for: nice overview, comfort and quiet at a few minutes by car of the touristic area.

A "Home" away from home”
Our 4-days stay in Cohiba is fantastic! Upon arrival, staff welcomed us with all smiles and even helped us with or luggages and to beat the heat they offered us refreshments as our welcome drink. The Hotel offers a free hourly shuttle ride to/from D'Mall which is very convenient for us if were going to the beach. One thing I would like to commend them with is when we are going to Mt. Luho for sunset viewing they offered us a free ride which is very convenient for us since we bring along a 9 month old baby and the hill is so steep going up. Our Villa has a view of the sea from our own private balcony which is very very peaceful. Linens and towels are changed everyday, our villa is being cleaned everyday, airconditioning is awesome as it is very hot in the island and all villas have their own kitchen so we get to cook our own food. Overall, our stay is fantastic and we'll definitely go back. Thank you to all the staff who welcomed and assisted us all throughout our stay in the island. Cohiba Villas I must say is a "Home" away from home.

Best part of our Boracay trip!”
The view of Bulabog beach and of the pool and the rest of the resort were clearly the standout features of the Cohiba Villas. It was a beautiful place to stay for our 2 couples. More than half our stay was us conversing about how great the place was while drinking wine on the terrace staring at the moonlight over the ocean, while having breakfast from our table overlooking the pool, while taking pictures of EVERYTHING. Being on the beach is nice too, but if you're going as a family or 2 or more couples, you won't regret this!

Awesome Family Vacation”
We enjoyed our stay in Cohiba, we loved everything from the terrace, spacious rooms, spacious bathrooms especially in the guest room and the kitchen of course! We brought some food for breakfast and dinner because the dining area and the kitchen can't be missed. The pool was awesome, I love swimming in their pool because of the view, my baby enjoyed as well. The only thing that's not good was their stairs because we had the villa 14 which is the second highest I guess, our 3 elders did not enjoy it. Good thing was we just considered it as a way of exercise, who wouldn't love the comfort of the place after having a very tiring walk. The staff are very accommodating, no problem at all. Over all, I would love to stay in Cohiba again and I will highly recommend it to family and friends who wanted privacy and relaxing view in Boracay.

Amazing experience ”
We stayed here for 9 days and I could not be happier. I have visited other countries around south-east asia and my stay in Boracay was by far the best mainly due the accommodation. I would suggest this place to anyone wanting to stay in Boracay and it is suitible for families and any other sort of group. I feel words can't express how great Cohiba Villas were. Cohiba Visit Aug 01 to 08”
Cohiba is located a little bit outside the busy main beach which is perfect if you want some peace and quiet. However you are no more then 10 minutes from where everything happens. Very nice beaches, restaurants, bars and all kinds of water sport activities. Played also one round of golf on a very nice golf course with very knowledgable caddies to help. Green fee felt a little bit too expensive, it costed more then we pay in Norway. All in all the island of Boracay is sure a place I would return to.

The view beats it all”
We stayed in 3 br villa, or rather apartment. The balcony size and the views are amazing. Beware, though, it takes an effort to climb up the stairs, ye the views well worth it. Main bedroom with ensuite is huge. Other 2 bedrooms are large with shared bathroom located in the corridor. The apartment is sun lit throughout the day. A/C is slightly underrated and struggling to keep lounge cool in full sun. The outdoor lounge is a bit tired, though still functional. Gas stovetop is handy for cooking small meals for kids. Comfy beds with TV in each room with large selection of the programmes. Well maintained large pool. Nice restaurant with large selection of dishes, though dishes are tasteless. I found most of the food in Boracay is tasteless, except fish market, thus no negs to Cohiba Villa restaurant. They just cook in line with other restaurants. Friendly staff always willing to assist. Villa is not at the main strip, though I saw this as advantage. Easy to get around and hourly shuttle makes commuting handy

God's eye view of heaven on earth”
The villa is built in tiered architecture, where view from each villa balcony does not obstruct other villa's view of the Bulabog sea. Nestled in a high ground far from the noisy and dusty boat stations, you might be forgiven to think you are all alone in this magical island. the room was well furnished and very functional. Good service but can improve little bit in timely delivery of food. Try to book for a room near to the pool if you planning to have less outdoor activity. Food and drinks are excellent and come in big portion but as mentioned time is the essence. customer don't like to wait a long time for their food...... but overall, i had a very relaxing and satisfying saty at Cohiba and two thumbs up for it's location and view.

Neat and cozy hotel :)”
hello from hong kong!! stay there for 3 nights. 3 ppl for a 1 bedroom suite.(extra sum of money needed for 1 more ppl as that room is supposed to serve 2 ppl) nice experience!the staff were very nice (or i should say the ppl in boracay were very nice!) nice sitting room, open kitchen, bedroom and bathroom lol bascially all were fantastic. not really that kind of grand and high-end style, but an apartment-like one :) very neat! around for tricycle from d'mall to cohiba. yet i tried 130 once ;) cohiba is on a slope!! everytime the tricycle needed to speed up right before going up the slope!!lol which is a lil bit scary i can say xddd'

Big apartment and affordable rate ”
We are a party of 4 young adults and we love this apartment very much. Value for money. The unit we got was a big apartment with 3 rooms, ground level and access directly to the pool. Food from the kitchen was pretty yummy and you can choose to dine in at the restaurant or room service. Housekeeping staff was very friendly and they do clean your room everyday unless you requested not to. This villa is slightly far(5-10mins) tricycle or shuttle to Station 2. Cohiba villa do provides shuttle to and from D-Mall which located at station 2 so location wise still consider good. This villa is out of the happening area and it's near to bulabog beach. You won't be disturb by all the screaming and music if you stay here compare to hotels in town, We are happy to stay in this apartment. :)

Relaxing atmosphere in a quiet location”
We enjoyed our stay in Cohiba Villas. Since all one-bedroom suites were full we took the two-bedroom (for just two of us). It felt like home all the time. Although there were many other guests, it felt very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful view of the sea. Very spacious rooms, rather clean. Sometimes they forgot to put shampoo or kitchen towel - every time it was a surprise what they will bring and what they will forget. Nice big pool, great view from there. Easy access to the center by free shuttle every hour (and back to the villas). It was a nice memorable stay. I'd choose it again. Rather affordable for what you get, perfect for big families, since the villas are spacious, have kitchen inside.

Nice stay, but service needs improvement”
We liked our stay at Cohiba because of the location, far from crowds, had a great sea view, however that was after we changed the unit; initially they had us in unit 22, which has terrible view, and dark rooms, we requested a change and we got unit 21, which was great. Staff is really nice and responsive, all of them were great! I think management has to improve services rendered- to provide complementary water at least on the day of the arrival. it was absolutely ridiculous that after a long journey, we arrived at the apartment, and there was not water to drink, my husband had to run out and buy a bottle. ( they also knew we had a small child with us). Also the free shuttle needs to add more trips to the schedule, 4 times a day is not enough, and the location does not allow to freely catch a passing motorcycle. For the price we paid, complementary breakfast should be included, we traveled to other places in Asia, we got much better accommodation for less+ breakfast. Another minus is the lack of AC in the living room, it gets very hot because the cleaning lady ( by hotel's policy) turns the ACs in the bedrooms off after she cleans, and the two ACs are not sufficient to cool off the whole unit. Cohiba has no spot on the beach, which makes it difficult to find a nice place on White Beach, all of the sunbeds belong to a hotel, and are reserved for their guests accordingly. Cohiba, if you want to be competitive, improve basics!

I really enjoyed my stay at Cohiba Villas Hotel alot, we stayed in a one-bedroom suite and it was really spacious and has a in-room jacuzzi. It's really cosy and I would want to return back there again. It has indeed made my trip a very enjoyable one.

Beautiful villas overlooking the ocean...”
First time to the Philippines and Boracay, so booked these villas for a week. Great holiday experience, stunning villas overlooking the ocean and with all necessities including satellite television, comfortable bedding, jacuzzi, bath, kitchen etc. Really enjoyed the stay at this place, as it was excellent, yet it didn't have the hefty price tag some resort type places have. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel to others planning on visiting Boracay. Great villas..

Hotel with a very nice view.”
i have to say it's the most relaxing stay i had in boracay so far. the room is very big with kitchen, a living room with wide sofa where you can feel you are living in a condominium with a very nice view of the ocean. plus the hotel staff is very accomodating and very helpful. i have to recommend cohiba not just for honeymooners but also for family vacation or even for a 'barkada' getaway. two thumbs up! :)

Our stay was wonderful. Although we wanted a beachfront villa, we were placed at a room further from the sea. However, the villa was perfect, the view was stellar and the staff were fantastic. The only glitch would be that after checking out, we wanted to ride the shuttle going to d' mall then commute going to the port, however, we were informed by the staff that we could not ride the shuttle going to d'mall as per hotel policy. However, the staff was helpful enough to get us a trike for us to ride going to the port. Staff were courteous, polite and professional. We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days and our room was cleaned daily, they even washed the dishes. Sheets were changed every 3rd day. Location was okay. The hotel is at it looks in the photos, however, its about 20-30 minute walk to d'mall and there are no lamp posts in the vicinity of the hotel so it gets really dark if you plan to walk from d'mall back to the hotel. Overall our stay was wonderful. Kitchen was fully furnished with rice cooker etc and cooking utensils, living room sofa was okay, iPod/iphone dock was a treat, bedroom sheets were crisp and clean, bathroom was spacious with a fully functional jacuzzi and a spacious shower room as well. Wonderful place, wonderful staff, wonderful stay. Will definitely, definitely go back.

Great views and lovely villas”
A little off the beaten track and away from the noise of the white beach. Cohiba Villas is a nice place to stay with groups/families. The villas are very generous in size and the rooms are clean and comfortable. This is our second stay here and we would like to return.

Amazing stay. Much better than what i had expected”
We absolutely loved it. I travelled with 5 other people (3 couples) and i have to honestly say it was much more than what i expected. The villa was fully furnished and had a very cosy and homely feel. I loved the fact that cooking utensils were provided. We made breakfast every morning! The view is insane. Infinity sea view with the stretch of beach at the side. I could sit there all day and just enjoy the view. The hourly transport from the Villas to Station 2 area (the more bustling side of Boracay) was very helpful indeed as there is were all the sea sports, food and happenings are at. The fact that the villas were not close to the crowded side of Boracay made it a very serene and peaceful stay at the end of an exciting day. I absolutely loved it! Worth every dollar. I will definitely go back if given the chance to. :)

solo weekend stay”
All good and happy with this choice. The beach on this side of the island cannot be used for swimming, i let you imagine why. On the other hand many boats trips starts from there and many sport water activities with boats are availabe. it's reachable by foot 10min's walk but very steep. the hourly shuttle to D-Mall (main street) in white beach is very usefull to go and come back inn less then 10 mins. tricicle taxi cost normaly 150 pesos (3 Euros). so if you missed the shuttle just take one of them. i would definitely go for swimming to this beach and not the Bulabog. i didn't try the hotel restaurant since too many nice restaurants in D-Mall and surroundings with nice seafood and junk food for all kind of tastes and budgets (i payed for a seafood platter for one person around 800 pesos in first line sea view in wite sand beach). Boracay is a must. Enjoy your stay and don't miss Ariel's point. Hope this helps others.

Spacious villa with incredible seaview”
The 2 bedroom villa was spacious and balcony was facing the Bulabog beach. Should be able to view the sunrise but too bad it was cloudy on both our attempts=( Kitchen is well equipped, comes with toaster & oven etc. Hourly shuttle to D'mall was extremely useful (from 8am to 12am).. I'm missing Cohiba already..
