Collins Avenue Hostel
One of the worst places”
The worst place ever, we tried to be out all the time but the time that we had to be in that place was a hell of a time. Stay away, pay a little more money but trust me it is worth every penny you will pay just to stay a way from this place.
Bad experience ”
It was a bad experience. The staff are really rude and they do not want to do anything except sitting and staring at you. The room was good but the air condition was making nois and it is not working the way it suppose to be and the room was so hot. I talked to the reception and the gave another room but the air condition had the same proplem. The elevator was out of service and i had to use the stairs which was uncomfortable because my room was at th 4th floor. the parking lot were in another building and its 2 min from the hotel. The knley thing good about this hotel is the location which is only 5 min walk to the beach and few block to Lincoln Road Mall.
Place to sleep”
Just a place to sleep. Not much else.
Great location with no so many amenities”
It's a hostel type room in a small hotel. Great location, but the breakfast wasn't good.
Great location, but rooms were tiny and bare”
I booked a standard suite, but what i got was a tiny room with one tiny window. The room was maybe 8ft x 10 ft. You would almost think it was a basement room in someone's house. The TV had only 5 channels and the towels were old and torn. Toilets were shared with 5 other rooms down the hall and were almost always disgusting, even though the cleaner was cleaning it every day. A few times in the morning i had to wait almost 30 mins to get to the bathroom or shower. The only decent thing was that a continental breakfast was included and the pastries were lovely. I've stayed in other hostels in the area before, and this was the worst and the most expensive. Think old style youth hostel and they are over-priced, but cheaper than anyone else.
Great location, cheap, bad smell”
What do you expect from a hostel in Miami south beach, that only charged you a night? Nothing...expect a place to sleep.
