Convenient to get various of food or shops by walking distance. But the sound insulation of the room is very bad, we can hearvoices from ourside and next door neighbours chatting very clearly. Feel no privacy and noisy here.

The hotel management should always ensure that there is ALWAYS someone manning the reception counter irrespective of any problems the hotel might be facing like the lack of manpower. Guests are of the utmost important in this line of business. Hence, they shouldn't be made to wait to be served. Overall room is spacious and comfy enough.

this my 4th time staying here(but everytime only 1 night), value for money & good location. if a group come with few cars, remember to ask for 1 receipt for 1 car for the overnight parking rebate RM3.00 else will be RM9.00, hotel staff never ask and inform us about this. the parking paying counter is 300m from the hotel lift.

Staff was not helpful”
Staff at infront desk not helpful and when we check in he reject us to check in, he said their system only supervisor can check, so he can’t accept any customer. I feel like staying 1 hour for check in. ? If you could please teach your staff to used laptop or teach them how to be polite to customer please..room was not really clean. Aircone not function well, inside the room was so hot,we can’t sleep well 😢

How u would expect 1 stars of hotel. Not recommended. Carpark need to pay RM3 per entry and need to walk very far to paying parking ticket. Have smelly odour around the surrounding place and car park are not safe because no have security guard in charge.

My stay at Columbia Hotel was so interesting . I love how the staff manage and appoint their job very well , perhaps , they brought something new for that some benefits for customer especie ally for those bring big luggage , they gonna help us without asking for rewards. I am so amazed with these foreigners as they are so polite and tolerate with locals.

Comfortable & clean budget hotel”
This is a great hotel for short stays. Treat it as a budget/backpacker hotel and you shall not be disappointed! What I like: 1) I stayed three nights. No-frills hotel with basic services only. Bed looks clean and comfortable with Astro TV channels. Wifi speed can be quite fast but sometimes can be intermittent, which happened on the first night only. 2) Great and affordable food nearby. There is a 24-hour Indian restaurant on the ground floor but I skipped this and went to the other one (NZ Curry House) instead, which is across the road. This is because NZ Curry House comes with a menu with prices CLEARLY stated, so I know they are not making unreasonable profits from hotel guests. Try the Chinese herbal soup restaurant behind the NZ Curry House as the food quality is great and sometimes they give you desserts for FREE if you eat when it is near closing. There is also a coffee shop opposite the Chinese restaurant which offers cheap food as the place is populated with students from the local colleges. Of course, you can walk about 10 minutes to the Festival Mall shopping mall for more classy and expensive foods. 3) Easy to travel to city area by bus but you have to cross the busy Jalan Genting Kelang road in front of the hotel. Many buses go to Chow Kit where you can hop onto the Monorail to go to almost any famous attractions in the region. The journey takes about 15-20 mins only as there is only one street Jalan Pahang before turning to Chow Kit area. Go for the aircon buses which accept RM1 for the journey. So make sure you have enough small change. It is actually quite safe to travel by bus. What I do not like: 1) Very bad sound proofing or none at all. I heard people talking very loud outside the room. Thought it was the cleaners but actually it was caused by guests in the adjacent room! 2) Hotel is not very accessible as you need to take LRT to Wangsa Maju and then a cab to reach. To end, it is a good stay if you do not have string

In overall, my stay in Columbia Hotel was pleasant. The room and bathroom were clean. Although it was quite noisy below the hotel, but as my room did not have windows, so I didn't really heard the noisy sound from below.

Pros: Location in Setapak. Cons: Hotel falling into disrepair. Broken rain shower. Dirty discolored toilet seats. No free parking. By the way, no relation to Columbia Hospital. It's just a name

Clean and affordable”
The hotel was located at 6th floor of PV128 along Jalan Genting Klang which was a busy road by day time. It is 5 min drive away from the nearest LRT station and next to it was Columbia Hospital and Platinum Walk Mall.Also it is only 10 min drive away from KLCC if the road was not jam. Nice and we like the room...

Worth for the price”
This hotel is totally worth for its price. The location of the hotel is strategic, lot of restaurant and stores below it. Nearby bus station just within 2-3min walking distance. The room size is ok, cleanliness also not bad. Overall is suitable for short stay.

good hotel at setapak area”
it was simple and pleasant. the hotel was clean and the rooms were very basic. needed a hotel that is at the setapak area and this served it well. enjoyed the restaurant downstairs. the downside is you have to pay for parking and its hard to find a parking spot.
