Booked this hotel due to its location and the accommodation special they had. First time staying here, was very surprised, check in was easy even though I was arriving late at night, room was clean, beds were comfortable, shower/toilet clean, hot water was great. Guest laundry located on floor with washer and dryer. Hotel located close enough to Perth CBD, just a free bus ride away with the bus stop only 2 minutes walk, the hotel located quiet area on Hay Street, shops close to the hotel for last minute groceries, Queens Park less than 5 minutes walking distance for relaxing. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The worst thing about my hotel room was probably the shower head; bad water pressure and kind of just spurted out in different directions and went from very hot to lukewarm with only the slightest adjustment to the temperature handle. Otherwise, the bedding was clean and comfortable (two must have deal-breakers for me in accommodation). The staff were all very friendly and helpful and apologetic that the second elevator was temporarily out of order. I *did* have to have a fellow guest tell me I needed to tap my room key before selecting which floor I needed, but that was probably more on me and my very tired brain after travelling for 10 hours from the east coast of Australia.

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast was great too, great food and filling till I had to miss lunch. I had the hot breakfast for 2 mornings. I enjoyed walking to Murray Street and Hay Street shopping area and to St Mary's Cathedral attend mass on Saturday evening. The CAT bus station was very near the hotel too. There was a kebab and supermarket very near the hotel too. The room was clean, beddings were clean and heater kept me warm.

“Hard to recommend ”
Booked a standard queen through agoda. Couldn't fault the price or welcome from staff on arrival. It was easy to find, check in was quick. Parking on site is limited (maybe 20 car spaces and tight fit) Hotel lobby and hallways were clean and made a great impression on entering the room it went downhill from there. Overwhelming smell of bleach from bathroom it was very strong and although the bathroom looked clean there was a lot of mould growth so maybe why the need for all the bleach. Entering the main bedroom opened curtains to find a huge hole wall. Rang reception to report, and they knew nothing about it. Staff came straight up and apologised and took photos. Could not initially offer change of rooms due to full house. Later, we were offered a change of room but declined and were given a complimentary breakfast. On hindsight, we should have tried our luck with different rooms. When getting into bed, we found the doona to be stained badly with some sort of white growth, and sheets had black mould spots. It was also a single doona for queen bed. It was a noisy night being able to hear neighbours and the drunks yelling and screaming abuse in the street. Couldn't recommend the hotel and wouldn't be back. Some positives staff went out of the way to make this a pleasant experience from reception to housekeeping who switched doona to a clean blanket to restaurant staff well done. Other negatives no shower gel and housekeeping couldn't change because dispensers wouldn't open. Instead, they put a shower gel in hand lotion dispenser, so we had some. The hand soap dispenser leaked after use on to tiles, which became slippery at the entrance to the bathroom. The hot water system is noisy and leaks right over you sitting on the toilet. Window had no security screen and although big sticker advising for safety regulations needs to be locked we could open all the way. Alot of built up dust that had not been wiped down on surfaces ie tv/desk/kettle. Previous guest had left a towel in freezer that was solid and completely iced up affecting the temperature of fridge, couldn't maintain a cool temperature for dairy items.
