Underwhelming even w low expectations”

Breakfast with toast but no butter, margarine, jelly, pb or anything to put on it. No juice. No excuse. Small little lumpy pillows. Pool closed yet advertised. Skip.

Disappointed”

I realize hotels are not cheap, however if I am spending over $100 to stay in a place for one night, I expect it to be clean, and staff to be friendly. When we arrived the initial staff was kind, but could not find our reservation, even though I had the confirmation number and my ID readily available. We finally got checked in and got to our room. We had requested a room "as close to the front as is available" and we put in literally the farthest room on the top floor. When asked if we could possibly transfer rooms we were told no. It is not a huge deal, it is just a lot more inconvenient traveling with small children to have to go to the literal farthest point in the building. Once we finally got to our room, it smelled like bad food. Then we noticed there was some sort of food or substance on the bed quilt. EW! We ended up sleeping with just the sheet. Hopefully it was clean.. When we went to check out we had to wait over 20 minutes for a staff to come to the desk. SO Disappointing!
