Centrally located to lots of different things to do in San Diego. Great price!
We loved our room! Staff was very friendly at check in and check out! Breakfast could use some improvement in selection and cleanliness. It was very hard to find seating and ended up standing while eating. I would love to return again! We were visiting sea world and loved how close it was to the park, zoo and old town! We will stay here again someday (:
Nice hotel great location great staff”
I enjoyed my stay at the comrt Inn you really can not go past value for money here, who ever complained about the traffic really! you need you head read. the staff are very helpful and the pool is great as it is heated, the Breakfast it nothing outstanding but really for the price i think you are doing pretty well here, so if you want a nice place to stay go for this hotel.
Nice comfortable room size for a family of 4. ”
We booked 2 rooms for my family of 4 adults and 2 children. The receptionist was understanding to give us 2 connecting rooms. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Buffet breakfast is provided but mostly cold food except egg omelette, sausage patties and waffles which you have to make it yourself. The breakfast room is far too small to accomodate the guests each time. I went once at 7am and all tables were taken. The next day I went at 8am it was over crowded that I had to pack the food back to my room to eat. On our return from Seaworld the next day we found one of the rooms was not closed/locked. The door was left ajar with the latch holding the door. We called reception immediately and was told that she will let the cleaning staff know. She didn't come back to us with an explanation after that. Thankfully nothing was missing.
Clean and big room in a quiet location”
The location of the hotel is rather far from anywhere else so its necessary to drive to stay at this hotel. The nearest shopping mall is Fashion Valley and the trolley is 10 min away by bus; however we never did succeed in getting the bus - it doesnt seem to follow the bus schedule! The rooms are nice, cozy and has free internet. We ordered pizza delivery the first night and has no problem. However, there's only 1 restaurant within walking distance so we usually have our meals before returning to the hotel. Hotel provides free breakfast and coffee at the lobby all day long. Breakfast is simple - bagels, danish, eggs, toast and waffle. Variety of juices and hot drinks are available as well. The downside is that the breakfast is identical everyday, so after 3 days of it, we had enough. There's also a pool, since it was winter, we didnt venture into it but I'm guessing it should be heated since there were a few families playing in the pool. Housekeeping is generous with towels and there's in-room coffee-maker as well. Bring ur own water as hotel do not provide. Overall, good place to stay if u have a car.
What you pay is what you get”
Value for $$, decent holiday for few days in San Diego
Friendly employees and just like the name says, comfort inn!!
Hotel located near the old town area, and easy access to all the sights around San Diego”
We liked the hotel and the breakfast that was included. The facility and rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. The only complaint we have is the additional charge for parking our rental car, this was not prominently noted when we made the booking. PLEASE NOTICE: THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR PARKING!
Just kids running all over the hotel late at night. And the blinds could be darker for privacy. There were sheer curtains only
Nice family hotel”
Traveled with our grandson. The suite was perfect for our needs.
still good but parking slots are way too small I am not sure its same for all hotel and most sadly we have to pay for the small slot I have seen full day parking 3 dollar and slot are just nice. The parking slot are really too small. we have to squeeze in the car when opening the car door try not to hit or scratch other vehicle.
Enjoyed the clean room and friendly staff. The breakfast offered was delicious.
Good all around hotel”
Enjoyable stay. Hotel rated well by others and i would agree. Really good for families to stay
Don't take room 320!”
It was directly below the morning breakfast area. ( Which was quite nice ) but when it opened at 6am Everytime someone dragged their chair on the floor above , it was ridiculously loud in our room. They need to carpet it or not have guest rooms under that area. Terrible
comfortable hotel with free breakfast”
very good stay, comforable, clean, value for money not bad generally speaking. there is a bit of noise that you can here upstairs but it included free breakfast which is alright. internet quite slow too.
Kind staff but needs improvement ”
Stains in the carpet (like vomit) and housekeeping did not visit daily. Marijuana smell from neighboring room, which was not the hotel's fault. The office responded immediately and there were no other issues. The toilet easily clogged and the pool furniture was older and tattered. The breakfast room was small but breakfast was always good. Overall, it was ok, but for the money, I expected a bit more. The surprise of having to pay daily for parking was also not expected.
Beware of parking fee”
We were caught off guard by the $10 overnight parking fee not included in the room fee. It seemed unnecessary and petty considering there was free street parking available in addition to the hotel parking lots. However, the front desk staff never mentioned street parking as an option. We saw other guests parking in the adjacent hotels presumbly for free.
It’s okey ”
Maybe some upgrade of the rooms, curtains and cleaning the aircon, specially, it’s very dusty.
Put in a room floor below construction and wasn't advised. Traveled for a funeral and needed peace and quiet. Cable flickered on both tvs. AC was a nightmare. We were moved to another room that was better.
Was friendly service, felt it was what I paid for. Housekeeping wasn't able to keep up on towel supply for the pool & them seemed understaffed. Overall enjoyed our stay.
