Nice motel not too far from the town centre”
The room was good, but the bed was a bit lumpy (needs a new mattress). The motel is on a main road but our room didn't suffer traffic noise too much. The hotel restaurant was closed, claimed due to Covid 19 but it is possible to legally run a restaurant, my view is that management are lazy in closing.

Sub standard where it counts”
Upper end of price range for area but overpriced . my room had a broken TV Air con could be controlled Garbage hadn't been emptied had a dirty nappy in it . Phone was ripped out of the wall so you could call reception . Reception was no help ,"Sorry got a bad room" Very poor form will never stay there again . I travel for work staying at 4 hotels a month . This gets the award for worst in 2021 & 2nd worst this decade for price category.

I was so upset and disgusted in this motel! The first night we had to change rooms because cockroaches were crawling all over the walls! I thought I was paranoid about bugs in the bed the second night but when I woke up during the evening, the bed was infested with little bugs everywhere! I went down & told reception and the man at reception said that he would check me out and I was free to leave! I emailed the motel with my concerns, they never replied! I was exhausted after little sleep and having to drive nearly 900km to Brisbane! Definately not worth the money or the compromise to your health!

Location is near city, it is only 3 minutes drive. Close to fast food restaurant and cafe just walking distance. There is swimming pool too and when we were there was crowded so we did not use it. Free wifi also available, some how it was on and off the connection. Maybe too many users at night time. Thank you.

A great value place to stay in Dubbo and convenient to food outlets, and major roads to tourist attractions. Enjoyed our stay; 2 adults & 1 child. Not the most comfortable bed, and laundry facilities broken all stay - but great value for money. Reception has lovely staff.

It wasn't the first time we'd stayed at the Blue Lagoon but the stay was very relaxing and the air conditioning, excellent. Only disappointment was the bed wasn't especially comfortable. Anyway we'll stay there again.

Okay for an overnight stay in Dubbo”
We had 2 rooms that we booked for the night. 1 was a bit smelly when we went in, so just make sure the bathroom door is closed all the time. Check in staff was good and helpful. Location is great and near the Dubbo Zoo. This is the only activity that we did in the area. Was surprised that there was a pool. Great for relaxing during the heat wave.
