We love The Gong”

My husband and I stayed there over Christmas & New Year 2011/2011. Overall, we had a wonderful time and found the management and staff very friendly, helpful and efficient. We loved the room as it was huge so we never felt cramped and it was easy to keep our things tidy as there was just so much room. We also loved looking out at the beautiful golf course, it was also entertaining at times. We loved Wollongong, and would definitely like to like to go back there one. Good hotel”

Enjoyed my stay here in this, a reasonable hotel, but good value for money. Is central to Shellharbour to the south & Wollongong to the north. Didn’t have breakfast as I was told it was only cereal and toast. Would have been good to have a microwave oven in the room. Overall, I would certainly stay here again.

Great room with friendly staffs”

I had a great stayed in Comfort Inn. Tindy room and friendly staffs.

Assigned an odd room”

While remote to other services in an industrial area, the room was clean, spartan, and equipped with two, twin bunk beds. As a lone bicycle tourist escaping heavy rain, it worked for me. Great on-line price, and the locals appeared unaware that they existed, although they have been here for 20+ years. OK once found.

Pleasantly surprised ”

The room was spacious, and comfortable, and having a view of the golf course rather than other buildings was pleasant.

Budget, Budget, Budget. Small, Dirty, Unsafe”

a used syringe was found in one of the draws at the comfort inn. the owner told me to leave it there & some one would see to it the next day. the next day i left the comfort inn (before the office opened) and waited for a phone call. they never called me back so i rang them to ask what could be done about it. they told me they could not help me. they made out that i put it there. there should be an investigation in to why this room was not properly cleaned. i would like them to realise how serious the consequences could have been if someone was pricked with it. the rooms are very small and the beds were so bad the floor was better.

Staff and rooms are great. Ample parking and quiet situation.

A fair accomodation”

This hotel is a bit away from the town and attractions (unless you like golfing). They had wired Internet only in one building (not wifi), not even in the lobby or restaurant, and unfortunately we didn't stay in that building. Anyway, they offered UHT milks as welcome gifts.

Great location but small rooms”

i specifically remember booking a room that had a queen (or a double bed) and one set of bunks. however, i got a room that two sets of bunk beds. my partner was not happy with that - but we had driven all the way from penrith and we were in no mood for arguing over the beds. other than that - we didn't eat in the restuarant, nor did we even get a look in at the pool as there were a number of large families there with children.

Needed somewhere to stay as attending a wedding nearby. Chose the cheapest rate possible. Had bunk beds which where extremely hard. Milk in the fridge had been opened and a towel was wet. I wondered if the room had been serviced properly. Also room was close to main road and noisy. I had asked for a quiet room away from traffic noise. Still, we arrived late and left immediately the next morning so did not really have time to avail ouselves of the facilities available.

Dirty and overpriced”

The Room had stained carpets, dusty and scratched furniture, filthy bed skirting, mouldy bathroom, hard lumpy bed, very dated furniture like it's off the sidewalk and nothing was wiped over. This was not worth $135 per night (discounted).

Somewhere to sleep, but old, hole in floor, had to request towels as they ran out, cockroach in bath, shower over bath and no hand rail or non slip mat, curtain fell down when we tried to open it

Don't bother with this place”

What a disgusting hotel this was. There was mould growing throughout the bathroom. The shower head doesn't really function as it should. There were cobwebs all under the dining table. As we were going to Bombo for photoshoot, we were in possession of UV torch which also revealed human secretion all over some walls within the room.

Not recommended”

just stayed for a night. but i have find cockroaches, Spiders in the room. i have been booking with agoda with average 60 booking per year. but NOT ANYMORE. AGODA should not include these type of properties in their listing

Rude stuffs & very dirty eet carpet and bathroom ”

My room include breakfast, without hearing my part of the story asked you have to pay 10 dollar and we only give you cereal &toast .what kind of hotel breakfast is this!!!!!. Very worse place on earth.
