In my opinion they spent to much time trying to make the lobby nice instead of focusing on the rooms themselves in all honesty it’s looks like a scene out of the shinning and the front desk was rude asf

Excellent customer service”
I reserved 3 rooms for 3 nights for a family get together to go to the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. I called ahead and spoke to Janet (sales director) and asked if we could 2 rooms with a shower and one larger room so we could spend time together. When we arrived we were all given suites next to each other and it worked out beautifully. Thank you to Janet and the rest of the staff. They are the reason for the high rating on tripadvisor.

Pleasant stay with unpleasant hidden charges ”
I booked this place because we wanted to check out Henry Ford museum. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised how close it was to the museum and the location was convenient close to a mall for shopping and food. The room was a nice size and clean. Breakfast was good with good choices. We purchased our museum tickets from the hotel and it saved us a few dollars, plus they took us on the hotel shuttle bus and saved us parking fee as well. Now to the unpleasant portion, we are looking forward to the pool after a hot day of walking around. The pool was not monitored and had bunch of rowdy kids. It made it hard to enjoy with kids jumping all over the place, in and out of the pool and hot tub. Water was splashing everywhere, so it was a less than pleasant experience. We left after a short 15 mins in the pool. When I got home to check my bill, there were random charges of $1.98 and $3.98 on my credit card. I’m not sure where and or what those charges are and have not contacted the hotel for clarification. It’d been nice to be informed of the charges on agoda when booking and/or when checking in. The charges are minimal ....but just weird and random. As a guest, we just want to be aware of charges so we know our credit card has not been hacked.

Great Hotel”
There were about 30 of us family members that come yearly to the Detroit area for a Monster Jam show. We have the last several years stayed at this hotel. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Will continue to stay here in the future!

Horrible place to stay”
Checking in spent 15 minutes listening to clerks conversations about her financial whoa’s , before she would even acknowledge me. 2nd evening was late after working to get back and the key card was disabled, making me walk around the entire building in order for them to get reactivated. Last day we get a phone call from room service saying we need to get our luggage out of the room when we still had 1 more night. Nobody had notified us when you add a night you have to check out and then check in again. Then I had to get up @ 5am to get to the airport. And their nasty coffee was completely empty. To much BS , we will never stay here again.

I booked Comfort Inn and Suites on a last minute quick trip.. The price was right... breakfast included... Well the Inn needs updated... the main areas are old , the beds are the old spring type.. I sat down on the edge of the bed and about fell off .. Room was clean but smelled musty.. bathroom was clean.. Breakfast consisted of burnt eggs and burnt sausages... but the coffee was good.. Nice pool that we didn't use as it was full of kids.... Customers services were very good.. nice and friendly , everyone...It was just very blaaaaaa... room very plain.. not welcoming at all..
