This hotel was awesome for the price! It was a little far from some of the places we wanted to go but the staff was amazing and called a taxi for us when we needed one! Bed were comfy and the lounge served great food and drinks.

We didn’t know that Crash Landing on You was shot here until we got there and googled more about the hotel! The room that we got was a little bit old but we think that’s the unique part about this hotel!. Pros: Room was clean and we could see Busan Tower from our room. They gave us 2 free bottle of water everyday and there’s heater. Cons: The room is a little bit old but that’s totally fine for us. The toilet had no warm seat nor bidet. But that’s fine as well lol. However, the way to the hotel is a hill and not so many buses stop at the 코모도르호텔입구 stop. Make sure to stop at 코모도르호텔입구 instead of 코모도르호텔 because that’s closer. To put in numbers, you can walk 20 min to Gukje Market, BIFF Square, and around that area. It’s close to many city attractions. But it took 1hr+ to get to Haeundae Beach.

Stunning hotel”
This is a stunning hotel that is perched on a hill, overlooking the seacoast. It is reminiscent of a Chosun dynasty palace. The room was very clean and comfortable. We slept well. But for a 5 star hotel we expected more amenities. We were disappointed the pool was closed and that the take ~out snack/ coffee counter doesn't open til 10am.

I have been at this hotel 3 times for several years. When I have stayed here, I always think that Best Value for money hotel in Busan. but a staff at night time treat the customer with more smile.

Only good for traditional architecture ”
It’s close to Busan station if you take a cab but there’s not much to do around the area. It’s on a hill so walking is very very inconvenient. Staff aren’t that nice and it depends on the person. They give you a discount for breakfast if you reserve early but the food is bad so it’s a waste of money. It’s not worth waking up early for. I only got this place for the BTS concert. Only thing I actually liked was the building’s traditional architecture which was interesting but for the convenience and cleanliness, I’d go somewhere else.

Great. The staff was friendly, attentive, and eager to help. We were on the 15th floor and had an amazing view of the harbor and city. The hotel was super clean and well maintained. A/C worked but only marginally so room was a little warm at night. Could not have asked for a better location. Close to train station (walking distance), museums, harbor, parks, Busan Tower, etc. The Commodore has to be one of the best kept secrets in Busan. Would definitely stay there again. Very good value was an extra bonus.

Uniquely Designed Hotel”
The first thing you notice about the Commdore is its design. It looks like an ornate, multi-storied Chinese Pagoda with an incredible amount of detail of its exterior. It is located in a very quiet area a short walk off of one of the main road in Pusan and a 10 minute walk to the Busan Station subway. Near this, is Chinatown and Texas St., full or Russian and Chinese immigrants along with cheaper restaurants and bars. Reputedly a sailor hangout. The Commodore boasts spacious, comfortable rooms with all amenities. Good value for the price.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Commodore as we had easy access to all transport options including ferries, KTX trains, subway and buses, with Busan Station just 15 minutes walk away. Ideal base for sightseeing.

Enjoyed a lot the Korean traditional atmosphere hotel”
I brought my Japanese parents and families here, and they loved the atmosphere of whole hotel. The hotel has amazingly well maintained Korean traditional atmosphere even it is in the middle of the big city. And also the room was clean and convenient as modern hotel. The hotel is located 15 min far on foot from Gukje Market area but it is not that hard to take a taxi to there so we didn't feel so inconvenience about location. But the hotel is located on the hill side, if you have big luggage, I recommend you to take a taxi to hotel. Not that far from Busan station.

Fun to experience historic korea”
We loved staying at the historic Commodore hotel. We will definitely return. It is so fun to stay in a place with the pagoda style. Best way to access is a taxi from Busan Station.
