Excellent Guest House in a Beautiful Little City”
I visited Siem Reap for the first time this October. The town was beautiful and this hotel was in a perfect location to take in all Siem Reap had to offer. It was only a short tuk tuk ride to the temples and a short walk to all the restaurants and other activities around the Old Market/Pub Street area. The hotel had a nice roof top pool that not many people took advantage of after a day of climbing around temples. The staff was excellent, helpful and friendly. I especially liked the one who served me my breakfast everyday, it is always nice to start a day seeing a friendly smiling face in the morning. I would definitely stay again in future trips.

Boutique hotel - excellent location and service”
This hotel has: - excellent service, the staff are always efficient and very courteous, everything is done with a beautiful smile and any queries are followed up promptly; - the location is wonderful as it is in Street 25, which is adjacent to the first bridge into the Old Quarter of town (a mere 5 minutes walk into the heart of Siem Reap); - the rooftop salt-water swimming pools (2 of them - 1 on each building) are a greta respite after a day's exploration of the temples; - tastefully decorated public spaces which are an attractive use of space and light, which provide an inviting atmosphere and make you feel rested and very welcomed; - the only 'negative' about this hotel is that the Garden Courtyard rooms are smaller than most rooms, and it's shower area is an annex to the bedroom (the toilet is a separate cubicle, but the shower does not offer privacy from the bedroom) - this wasn't a difficult problem to overcome as we only used the room for sleeping after long days at the temples (the hotel also has balcony rooms and 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments which likely have separate bathrooms away from the bedroom)

Great boutique hotel with excellent location”
We choose this hotel based on other customer reviews online and were so happy with our decision. The hotel far exceeded our expectations in every way. The hotel is 7 mos old, so it's in excellent condition with great amenities and nicely appointed big rooms. There is a nice pool on the roof. The staff is friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure your comfortable. Location was perfect as it't s five minute walk into the center of Siem Reap, and there are usually Tuk Tuks waiting in the area if you do not want to walk. Can't say enough good things about our experience. We will for sure be back for a visit....

Comfortable and quiet hotel in great location”
the service was great and the staff very friendly. the hotel price is a little pricey compared to other in siem reap but it was comfortable and we didn't ever have to worry about electricity cutting off (i head it happens in some other places). it is only a 5min walk away from pub street and the central market. the breakfast was good and they even packed one for us on day of our morning sunrise tour so we could have it on the road at 5am. (their breakfast only starts at 6). the rooms were clean though having only a shower curtain as the bathroom door was a little too open a concept for us but it had monsoon showerheads which is very relaxing after a days around the temples.

Lovely boutique hotel in great location ”
The hotel was a bit difficult to find but location turned out to be very good - on a very quiet road between a commercial street with many restaurants and the canal, and within walking distance of the night area if that is what you want ('Pub street' - horrible, gaudy, tasteless noisy pubs full of drunken teenage yobs and a 'night market' full of cheap, useless rubbish (all made in China)- a major disappointment for Siem reap and Cambodia in general. The future of tourism, indeed,,,,). The hotel itself has nice rooms, a great restaurant and a small roof-top swimming pool. It has a very attractive wooden-front that is nice to sit in and have a beer or coffee while reading a newspaper or book. The background music was a welcome surprise - jazz and blues. Very chic.

You will not be disappointed”
Karanvasara is a new hotel that has left a great impression on me. From the beautiful courtyard and pool to the decor of the rooms, it gives travellers a relax setting in Siem Reap. Location of hotel is great. 5 min walk away from the Pub Street, but quiet enough from the bustle. Staff are very attentive and tidy the room a few times a day! They also offer helpful tips on where to visit or what to do. There is Wi-Fi connection in rooms, but not in dining area. That would have been a plus. Swimming pool is great too. All in all, one of the best hotels I have stayed in recently. Despite not being a 'Top-Tier' hotel, Karavansara has all the makings of an excellent hotel and should not be missed by all.

The best hotel I have haven't stayed in”
As I said; the Karavansara is the best hotel I haven't stayed in. Through a series of uniquely unfortunate events our room was unavailable. Like many, we had to call Karavansara on arrival in Siem Reap, but from that moment forward Thea and his team could not have been more helpful and, more importantly, prepared. He met us en route, described the situation and proposed his solution. We will return to Cambodia and Siem Reap, and based on the saw and felt, we will stay at the Karavansara

Amazing location and lovely rooms”
This is a very nice, modern hotel with everything from single rooms to three room suites. When we arrived the room was not what we thought that we reserved but the hotel staff upgraded us from the 2 room to the 3 room suite! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are sparsely furnished but they do have a full kitchen, a washing machine and two small (but nice) pools. The breakfast was good but after 5 days it started to get a bit old. The best part was the location. It is on a very quiet street on the south east side of Siem Reap. To get into town (Market, Pub Street etc.) is just a 2-3 minute walk over the river. We mainly walked because everything was so close. We loved our stay here, and would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Boutique Hotel in a perfect location”
This award winning design boutique hotel is perfectly located just across the river and a short walk from the nighttime tourist area of Siem Reap. The Colonial Heritage section of the Hotel has about a dozen rooms, with its own rooftop pool, and open air restaurant which served delicious food. I loved this hotel and its friendly staff, and I hope to have the opportunity to stay again. The only shortcoming I can think of is that the rooms don't have refrigerators.

Nice quiet location, great rooms and service”
We enjoyed our stay at Karavansara. The staff was very helpful and the restaurant was really good. Service was good. Karavansara is located in a quiet street between two major thoroughfares and near a bridge to the other side of the river. It is also about a kilometer to the only Catholic Church in Siem Reap. We stayed at a Colonial Heritage room which was quite large while our adult children stayed in Garden Courtyard rooms which were quite adequate for two. Clean and great value. Tuktuks were always available and hotel could arrange bicycles if want to bike around the city.

this place was excellent!”
We were very surprised with how beautiful this hotel was. Not what you'd expect. The room was very comfortable, and the people there were always very nice and helpful. After a full day of trekking around Angkor Wat, coming back to the hotel and having a dip in their saltwater infinity pool was exactly what we needed. Excellent location. Short 2 min walk to the busy tourist pub street. We definately recommend this place. Don't bother checking out other hotels in Siem Reap. This is definately the one for you.

Very, Very nice hotel”
We finished our trip hear and spent 6 days in Siem Reap. When we arrived they informed us that we were upgraded to a two bedroom apartment. The room was just fantastic and had all the luxuries of a 5 star hotel. the setting for breakfast was just fantastic and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is fabulous, just far enough aware to not hear the noise but within easy walking distance to the Pub Street etc. There is now a lot more activity on this side of the river. The two rooftop pools are fantastic

Great Location with good services”
My first time in Siem Reap and when I set foot into this hotel, it give me a very clean and cosy feel. The staffs welcomed us with a drink and lead us to our room. When we entered the room, we were greeted with lemongrass essential oil aroma. The room was not very big but it looks very new and modern. The staffs also provided us with useful guide booklets and maps. Overall my girl friend and I liked it very much. The only cons is that they do not have a bar fridge that can keep the fruits and drinks chill in a hot weather.

Excellent facility, excellent service”
We were a family of three adults and stayed in a two bedroom suite. The suite is very spacious and well appointed throughout, complete with kitchen and cooking facilities, should they be desired. Full size refrigerator. 2 large bathrooms, showers, bathtubs. Room cleanup prompt and efficient each of the four days we stayed. Over the years we have stayed in four different hotels in Siem Reap and this was by far the most comfortable and pleasing.

A piece of jewel in the crowd! ”
My stay in this hotel has been the highlight of my stay in Siem Reap. In spite of the fact that the property is a bit dated, I would stay the staff of Angkor Safari Hotel are the amazing assets of the property. The ever smiling, ever eager and skillfully efficient in doing their job. The front office, the house keeping, the service staff in the restaurant were all amazing in their skills to satisfy the guest of the house. I am happy that I had stayed at this place.

All you need for your holiday hotel”
We had pleasant stay during our trip in siem reap. Hotel is small but yet spacious. Very friendly staffs with great service mind and speak good English. Locate in strategic location which is only 5 mins walk to pub street and night market. But yet its proximity makes it is not so noisy at night. You will feel relax with hotel environment. Very good value for money.

Exactly the kind of place I was looking for ”
After staying 2 nights in the 2 Bedroom Suite, I moved to the Garden Courtyard Room to stay a final night in Siem Reap. It was exactly the kind of room I wanted to find as a solo traveller - stylish, clean and comfortable, with amenities. There's even a small private balcony where I can walk out. My experience with Karavansara has been generally wonderful. I'll definitely recommend it.

Comfortable, clean and great location.”
Got collected form airport only to then be stung $20 US.... standard cab only $5 and was told pick up free. Did compensate by providing free return to the airport though. Once in the room it was nice and airy, large in size, clean and modern. Only thing was no jug or fridge, but again when I asked the staff they provided a jug no fuss. The hotel is really close to the markets and has some great food places nearby also. Staff happy and helpful. Overall a good stay and I would return if back in Siem Reap.
