Amazing Staff!! ”
This was our first time staying at Compass Cove as we typically tend to stay more towards North Myrtle - and it was AMAZING. John was the manager that checked us in and I literally can’t say enough nice things about him. We also met Jordan, who I believe is the restaurant’s manager...also a super awesome guy! Every single time we went to one of the restaurants (Compass Rose or The Crows Nest) he was literally always working....bussing tables, greeting guests, you name it! Also, any contact we had with other staff members was just a pleasant! The maids, the servers, the guys cleaning the pools or picking up trash...every single person was SO NICE. The rooms here are well maintained and clean...which can be hard to find in Myrtle Beach. The pools were great! Our 4 year old LOVED the 2 lazy rivers and the water slide! I appreciated that there were numerous hot tubs and heated outdoor pools! Breakfast at the Compass Rose was really good! Great variety and super convenient! We will definitely be staying here again and I will be recommending to friends!

Nice Stay!”
Stayed at Compass Cove for the first time June 2020. We had an ocean front queen suite which provided 4 beds (2 queen, sofa bed and wall bed). Kitchen was nice and stocked with essentials as we chose to cook instead of eating out. The room was very clean. Lots of parking options. Plentiful elevators - never a long wait. Lots of luggage carts out by the lobby. They had about 7 people checking g in guests upon arrival which made the lines move fast. Many pool options and not crowded. Love the location as it was about 1.5 miles south of Family Kingdom and a short drive to Broadway at the Beach. The only issue we had was trying to call the front desk. Never got anyone to pick up and tried several times two different days. We were almost out of towels but they delivered some to us in time. I would definitely stay at Compass Cove again.

The resort was great, it was very clean, the staff was supper nice. The room was clean. The pools and the hot tub was very cloudy it Had a very strong chlorine smell which is a good thing it will definitely kill any germs that comes in contact with the pool and hot tub water, that may be the reason it was so cloudy looking. Other then that my stay was great. I would definitely stay at compass cove again

PERFECT FAMILY RESORT”
We stayed here during spring break. We are a family of 6 (kids ages 5,7,9,11). I am extremely picky about where we stay, and this place was beyond what I expected. The staff was super nice. The facilities are incredible. There are so many pools, for every age. The lazy river was very enjoyable. Everything is right on the beach. The views are beautiful. The kiddie pools were so much fun and the water slides were an incredible bonus. Our room layout was perfect. The kids were able to enjoy their "own room", while we enjoyed the room with the balcony. Will definitely be back soon!!!

Weekend getaway”
I needed a mini vacay due to this covid 19 oitbreak, being a nurse I was completley burnt out, so.....From check in to check out the process was simple, rooms were very clean, the staff was very friendly and courteous. The other guests were super friendly. A very nice family oriented resort. And super quiet at night I highly recommend. I will definitely be booking more stays there in the near future.

Great location. Lots to do for children of all ages . Pools, hot tubs , lazy rivers, slides . DJ at the pool . Our room was clean they text us on a regular basis and got us whatever we needed . Our room had a kitchenette so we cooked daily and there was enough dishes to make it possible .

Absolutely loved the view! I chose an oceanfront view, so as soon as I opened the door I saw nothing but the ocean, since the blinds to the balcony were wide open. Every morning I got to see the sunrise over the ocean (never closed the blinds). The kitchen was perfect size and they had everything you would need to cook, eat, and drink with. The only thing I didn't like was the pillows; had a hard time getting comfortable, but everybody's different. Despite that, I'm definitely looking forward to booking a room here again soon. It's great for a couple! If they have an in-room jacuzzi, that would be perfect (will check for next time).

Great place for the price”
We usually stay at Wyndham so we knew it wouldn’t be a 5 star resort but we were pleasantly surprised. The room was bigger than your average hotel room. Had a Murphy bed and pull out so lots of sleeping room. It had a full kitchen and restaurant/bar on site was really good. There are several pools, jacuzzis, and water park areas also so you never felt crowded. They also had towels available at the pool.

This property is steps from the beach with warm indoor/outdoor pools. Great for families with on-site restaurant and short distance to many others. Some units have full kitchens, but make sure you include that in your request. Great view of the ocean.

I do not like that the efficiency kitchen is so close to the bed. They gave me a room directly above the bar and grill so it is recessed and I can’t see the sun come up over the ocean. Bummer
