We felt relax when entering the hotel. We liked the clean and spacious room. We loved the garden with a 'dry' fountain, a winding pool, a small pasture as well as swings facing the church and the lake. The Greek-island style environment provides a sense of holidays in mediteranean sea. It is an excellent resort for family during summer holidays as it takes only 5 minutes walk to a water park which holds the Yilan Int'l Children's Folklore & Folkgame Festival. My kid loved the water games very much.

We stayed 2 nights at Village B&B. The place was so relaxing that we didn't want to go out sightseeing but instead stay there for reading and resting. Breakfast was fantastic. Room was clean. We were supposed to be able to see the sunrise from our room but it was cloudy and rainy during our stay so we missed it. The owner was very friendly and helpful. As we wanted to go to a hotspring hotel in Jiaoxi, she helped us book a room in a hotspring hotel she recommended us. Will definitely stay there again next time.

was pleasantly surprised with how spacious the room and bathroom are. there is an individual garage (to park your car) for each room. and being a motel, it gives you a lot of privacy. even the meals were discretely left at a side table located at the corner of the garage (where your car is parked)! it's conveniently located within walking distance from the train station. but the train station is a small one that can only be accessed via the local train network. so, unless you drive, it'll be best to avoid this motel.

A very clean and nice 3 storey apartment with 7 guest rooms. Stayed 2 nights and had a wonderful time at the minsu. Room and bed were so comfortable I thought I was at home when I woke up. Hosts were very warm and hospitable. Breakfast was lovingly prepared and Mrs Yang even packed us breakfast to eat on the train on our early morning check-out. Minsu is near to Luodong Township-less than 10 mins drive away. Bus station is just outside the Luodong Railway Station. Book now!

Minsu is perfect for families with children! I stayed in the deluxe family room (car themed) for a night. With toys and a slide in the room, sandpit and motorized cars and motorbikes, my 4yo boy enjoyed himself thoroughly! Room is clean and safe for my 11mo boy to crawl around and play with the balls in the ball-pit as well. Breakfast is simple and there is a variety of dishes. Although location is not within the city, it is a short ride away. There is a rice field in front of the minsu and I really love the country side feel. A small packet of organic rice is given upon checkout too! Transport is provided to and from the train or bus station, but you need to let the owner know in advance. Only thing is there is no baby chair within the minsu, but it is not a major issue. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. I stayed for a night but will recommend two nights as there are a number of attractions for children around the area.

Growing up and living in a busy city all my life, Traditional Arts Villa was a splendid place for relaxation with its secluded location far from any form of city life. The owners were very friendly and sociable people too. The wife has an interest in cooking and breakfast served was the best I had ever seen across every BnB accommodation I ever stayed. Dishes served were aplenty and well presented. Looking back at the photos I took, it isn't hard to mistake the food served as one from a high-end restaurant! Rooms were clean and beautifully designed with mine being one that faces the gorgeous man-made lake in the garden behind the villa. Deck chairs are available on a platform by the lake for individuals to lay down and space out, or you may follow a stone path and stroll around the pond to enjoy the scenery. If you are looking to stay here, be prepared to spend on taxi cabs due to its seclusion from any other form of public transportation. The location for Traditional Arts Villa can however be a huge plus for individuals looking to escape from the hustle and bustle of the commercialized city life.

surroundings the chateau is surrounded by fields, giving off an aura of peace small pond next to the chateau, giving an aesthetic effect to the surroundings, providing an ideal place to take pictures furniture -(according to the owner) 80% of the furniture are antiques imported from France owner personally cooks breakfast (and tea if you book tea) owner talked to us over breakfast and told us she goes to France annually and recreates her experiences for the chateau

Location: Not close to city. However, hosts are able to help arrange for transportation at own expense. Service: Superb service. Hosts are very friendly and will provide info on places of interest to visit in Yilan. Hosts are friendly and the whole ambience in this minsu is very cosy with a touch of European feel. Breakfast is cooked by lady host personally. Delicious and healthy. Overall, a great getaway. Extended one more night of stay with the hosts. 'cc'c'

I had booked 2 nights' stay with Full Sweet Inn in May, and Jonathan was in touch right at the beginning, providing maps of the areas in Yilan and offering help if we needed to book drivers etc. He also contacted me on Whatsapp on the day itself to check in on my status and what time I would be reaching. I troubled him by asking him many things on the go but he was always detailed and responsive! Upon reaching the accomodation, there was no fuss at all for check-in and they offered a complimentary upgrade for us. Breakfasts were wonderful and Jonathan even loaned us bikes to cycle to the nearby Dongshan River Park where it was beautiful! Best minsu stay in Taiwan so far, and Jonathan made everything perfect! P.S. Do bring insect repellent, the mosquitoes are commando-grade in the area!

This bnb is very beautiful as per British style and their hospitality is awesome. Both exterior and interior of the house are same as per pictures shown in the website and every corner of the house are well decorated and I really like this bnb and their great hospitality!! It is so comfortable stayed here for 2N and it make me feel like home and the hosts are very friendly and nice although I traveled solo in Dec16 Christmas. Double room with attached bathroom is very clean, beautiful with free toiletries, free water bottles provided. Room equipped with TV, air cond, free wifi, slippers, table, chair, hangers etc.It is a very safe stay here. Host picked me up at Luodong train station when I arrive. Hosts are very helpful, from time to time recommend us on what to eat/to see/ to do in Luodong and Yilan, and always able provide good suggestions/recommendations for travelers. Host also send me to Luodong train station on the day I check out and travel back to Taipei.This bnb is 5min walk to Dongshan river park, which has an awesome scenery and great place to walk/relax/jog. Nearby to this bnb, there is a very famous steak house too-worth a try!.The free breakfast provided in this bnb is very yummy, healthy and wide spread. Like the pumpkin soup, toasts and fresh fruits the host prepared and their pet, QQ (the fury dog) was so cute and lovely. Overall, I had an awesome and lovely stay in this bnb. Definitely will be back and recommend this bnb to those travel to Luodong, Yilan. I gave two thumb-ups to this bnb hosts' for their great hospitality.

Wonderful experience especially for family with young children. Many activities within the house to occupy the kids. There was a nice little garden where there are swings and toys for the kids to play. The living room is nice with many toys and the place was well stocked with amenities. The room was also great for the kids. Overall, highly recommended for family with young children!

England Castle B&B is a cosy building amidst green fields. The atmosphere is good for a few days' stay if not for the following reasons: (1) Rental is on the high side, discouraging visitors from making a longer stay; (2) The hotel does not provide any meals except for afternoon tea which we had to pay extra and breakfast which is not particularly sumptuous though superior quality coffee was there for free flow. The owner did recommend a very good country style restaurant called Xian Jing 鲜靓 for our dinner, but we had to take a taxi there. The food was however the best that we had taken during our 10 days' stay in Taiwan.

You would need a car to get here probably, or to anywhere in Yilan. This place has a garage for your car and really awesome for groups. It has an ensuite bathroom for all rooms, it has a huge living room, and private swimming pool on the top floor. Full kitchen, Apple TV, small library, great views of the fields... Staff were also super friendly. We were a group of 7 and fitted perfectly. Highly recommended!!!

Location is very near to Dongshan River Park and cultural center. Bicycles are provided to cycle to the Park. There is a duck place about 2 mins walk from the minsu which is popular among kids. Host is helpful and will drive you to the cultural center and train/bus station. Stay here only if you are on a budget and don't expect too much for the room and bathroom. If you like to experience the hospitality of a great host then this place is for you.
