A bed to sleep in”
Good things is that it’s bed to sleep in (clean sheets) in a good location. We booked a private double room for cheap despite reading bad reviews under the old hostel name. We thought maybe they’d changed and improve things and changed the name to rid the bad reviews. Small bed (same size as single dorm room), no bin, no hand soap or shampoo or anything, the toilet seat was on the floor and broken. Had to request towels, WiFi password and loo roll. Small room, grubby and run down, with bad air con. Stayed 1 night. Restaurant downstairs actually looked really good, with good prices. Cheapest hostel in the area for double room, so didn’t expect more. It wasn’t terrible but with the space they have, the location and the design of the building they could have an amazing hostel if they wanted to! It’s a shame really.

The owner and all the family are amazing! Friendly, helpful, they really do extra steps to help you. I totally recommend to stay here! Just a note, the room faces the road so it's a bit noisy at night, take earplugs

今回で２回目。場所は、良く泊まるホテル（複数）が傍にあるところで、（あの狂乱の）Bui Vien通りからは歩いて６～７分。うるさくないから却っていいかも。表にホステルの表示なし、”Cono Beer”となっていて１回がビアバーになっていた。１年以内に始めた様子。ビールの種類は他所より多い。１番安いGreen Saigon （Saigon Sanh）が25,000ドン。安い店より高い。（当たり前か？）それでも、仕事に疲れて、部屋から下に降りて飲みたい時に直ぐ飲めるのがいい。今回はずい分仕事が進みました。（仕事を持ち込んでやるのにはとてもいい。） トイレットペーパーなし。（お尻を洗ってその後タオルで拭けばほいので別に要らない）。アメニティなし。（私はほぼ持参の洗面道具を使っているので別にいい）。床の樹脂版が所々離れている。（蹴躓かないように注意）。シャワーの水圧はやや低い。 Wifiは凄くいい。 朝食は、目ん玉二つの目玉焼きに野菜とバインミー。甘～いコーヒー。 経営者は流暢な英語をしゃべるし、受付にいた女性もちゃんと通じる。 と言う事で、上の条件でよろしいと言う人にはお勧めだが、その他（多分大多数）の人には不向き。 私は（その時の条件だが）また泊まる。顔を覚えてもらって仲良くなれば何かと良い事もあるでしょう。

De Tham通りとCo Bac通りの交差点から100ｍほど東に行ったところにある。（Agodaのサイトに表示される位置は間違い）Bui Vien通りからほどほどの距離（歩いて７～８分）で、至極便利。空港行きの152番のバスに乗る停留所（Tran Hung DaoとDe Thamの交差点から北東方向に100ｍほど）にも近い。 椅子がない、電源がデスクから遠い、ハンガーがない等、当初はいろいろ問題があったが、頼んですべて解決した。Wifiも速い。シャワーのお湯の温度も十分。 最近は、この付近のどれかのホテルか、Ky Con通りを南に行ったところにあるブルーリバー２の間でその時の条件で決めるようにしている。 選択肢が一つ増えた。 標準の朝食時間が８時からと少々遅いのが残念。
