Fantastic value for money”
My daughter and I spent 11 nights here and were thoroughly spoiled. The staff were welcoming, at 4am! and everyone was very courteous. The housekeeping did an amazing job and were always asking if there was anything else they could do. There wasn't as it was perfect! The "happy hour" in the executive lounge was way beyond anything we have experienced in similar hotels. Breakfast was superb and the wait staff were very attentive. Couldn't fault this hotel, including the location on The Nile!!

The customer service staff are very welcoming and professional. The breakfast at Solana restuarante is amazing with a great view of the Nile river and wonderfull staff . It is a 10 rating! I would recommend this hotel .

Greatly enjoyed our stay at the Conrad, with is its central location and ease of access to all parts of Cairo. Staff were well trained and truly friendly with a keen desire to serve and to please. We did enjoy our breakfast immensely, with the various live cooking and baking stations and truly Egyptian style.

Nice hotel”
The best thing about this hotel is the location. However, the suite I booked was quite ancient with a dirty balcony. The breakfast is fine. The swimming pool had a heating which is good in cold weather.

There was a problem with the staff in the hotel as I paid with a a credit card belonging to my relatives and when I arrived at the hotel they were asked to pay by the card that i used in booking or to pay cash. My question here is whether the amount is reserved by the card, Why not be charged and why I am asked to pay cash? Thanks

It’s my first official trip to Cairo , and the location of the hotel is good enough to explore around the city. Facing the Nile , Uber was such a delight to have and to go around to different places. I don’t mind coming back to the hotel again .

Overall good stay , great location and old part of Cairo (Nile Cornish) overall great stay despite that the room wasn’t Nile view , I guess because it was a smoking room , so I guess smokers don’t get a great view that’s the downside

They tried- but did not meeting expectations”
The hotel is outdated and over crowded. The moment you walk in, it feels like a time warp. Chaotic, loud and disorganized. The hotel was undergoing renovations, MUCH NEEDED. I eventually made it to a new room after two nights in a depressing 1970's replication of the Shinning. The renovated room was lovely, BUT a/c did not work and the water was lukewarm. Hotel staff did their best with comped meals and add ins, which I will never forget. I still can not recommend this to travelers who are hoping for a reprieve from Cairo's busy streets. I walked out disappointed and feeling terrible for the lovely staff who are over worked. Loved the people, hated the hotel.

Great value for money”
I spent a weekend in Cairo and wanted a bit of comfort. The Conrad has all the luxury of a five star hotel if location is not a priority. It is about 10 blocks from the Egypt Museum and the centre of town. The hotel is right next to the Nile and the "Nile view" from your room is spectacular. But you would have to take a taxi to any of the major tourist sites in Cairo. The neighbourhood where the hotel is a bit run down, so it would be difficult for a tourist to wander about. The hotel itself is super luxurious and the food was out of this world. They have an excellent Lebanese restaurant as well as a Chinese restaurant within the hotel. The buffet breakfast was super and the staff were always helpful. The Sauna and Massage area was very clean and well organised. In conclusion, everything was wonderful except for the location. If that is important, than the Ritz Carlton may be your only choice but that will be double the price. Conrad Hotel is highly recommended.
