ONE OF MY FAVORITE HOTELS IN TAGAYTAY!!!! ”
when you feel like you had enough of city and crowd... this is the place where you should be. Their roof top dining is great. its worth what you pay for the foods! if you are up to drinking with your friends.. their happy hour is the best for you.. cheap and very nice pulutan. :) kids are welcome as well, as they have a little playground at the rooftop and tents for rent. All these including their very friendly staff! we asked if they have a piece of cake for our friend whose having his birthday. sadly he wasn't feeling well that morning so he decided to stay in his room and we went for our free breakfast, so NO.. they don't have any cake. BUT! the chef made a special 2 layer pancake with chocolate syrup for our friend! thank you so much Chef! they even gave a small bowl of Congee for our 1 year old princess niece! the rooms are nice and clean, you got the basic needs. Hotel is also close to EVERYWHERE! :) Good job guys. more power! cheers!

Loved this hotel as a solo traveler”
I went to Tagaytay for a short vacation outside the city. I've been to Tagaytay many times so my main purpose was to enjoy the weather, stay in bed, and just have a slow weekend. This hotel was perfect for it. I was lucky enough to get a room with a small veranda / balcony looking out to the terrace area (the room name was "Ibon" - English for "Bird"). I didn't even use the aircon and just had the sliding doors open the whole day. It was a quaint, clean, modern room, and I loved the fact that the walls were lined with artwork. The rooftop grill and drinking bar was also awesome, if you're travelling with a couple of friends, this is an amazing chill spot at night. The breakfast was plated (not the usual hotel buffet style) and you get to choose from a set of items. It was not that much, but you can order additional items anyway. The best breakfast item? The unlimited tsokolate (hot chocolate) drink and kapeng barako. Awesome hotel overall. Will come back any day.

It’s a boutique hotel with a young, quirky vibe. Appreciate the use of everything recycled. Place is tucked in an inner side street but just a few steps from the main highway. This side street is directly across Starbucks so it was easy to find. Room was clean, spartan & comfortable & basic necessities provided for. Great & tasty variety of Pinoy breakfast sets and Batangas coffee was superb! The staff of the resto at the 4th floor were attentive and friendly but the ones at the front desk were both stern but helpful. A big bonus was the fantastic Japanese restaurant that serve authentic food.

Hubby and I had a great weekend at Containers. The staff members were friendly, accommodating and very hospitable. Every corner of the hotel was thoughtfully designed. If not for the immense heat, you could spend hours exploring the area, which while fairly small, is full of art and murals. As hubby and I are both art majors, this was something we really took a fancy to. A few issues we had: 1. I found a couple of small stains on 1 pillow cover. 2. The water pressure in the shower was so low even at its highest setting. I get that the hotel advocates to conserve resources, but bathing took a longer time because of this. 3. The hotel's design isn't senior citizen or PWD-friendly. There are no lifts, and the stairs are steep and narrow without much support. 4. Breakfast may take a long time to be delivered at your table. When we got to the dining area (rooftop deck), there were a good number of people, though I could see that most of them were almost finished. Still, we waited for an hour or so for our food, which was almost cold already and tasted bland; thus, we had to make full use of the condiments provided. These issues still wouldn't deter us from coming back though. The place was lovely and everything else they had to offer more than made up for said issues. Also, you'll LOVE the free toiletries they will provide to your room! And best of all, they allow pets. :) Some notes to take note of: 1. Prepare a P1000 security deposit per room. 2. Pets are allowed. They usually allow only 1 per room, but if you have 2 furbabies that are small in size and don't weigh more than 20kg combined, they can bend the rules a bit. 3. Pet fee is P500/pet. There is also a P2000 security deposit per pet apart from the usual security deposit.

The room is super clean. Cable's reception is not very clear. Breakfast is okay (same menu everyday). Staffs are accomodating. They provide umbrellas per room which was very helpful during our stay. Parking is also okay. The bed, the pillows, and the blanket are super nice. We enjoyed our stay and will be coming back! They are really eco-friendly.

The concept of the hotel is good (recycled containers). The art of the building itself and room is a bit modern/industrial look and the place has lot of other artworks and walls murals. The room we stayed although small is pretty nice. The facilities is sufficient enough for short stay: nice bed, lighting, hot and cold shower, free towels and toiletries. My only minor complaint is that there are no slippers provided but that it is common complaint to other hotels as well. As to the location, it is convenient and close enough or one tricycle away from tourists spots like skyranch, picnic grove, people's park and the like.

A hotel for millenials”
Very clean and modern hotel made out of shipping containers. There's a lot of modern art scattered all throughout the hotel (even in the parking area). A lot of common area too along the corridors where you can just sit and relax or work on your laptop. The hotel's wifi is very fast (around 50Mb/s download speeds when i did speedtest). Cell reception/data is also good in the area. Location is good, which is at a corner of Tagaytay's main highway. There's a Japanese restaurant in front of the hotel and a Starbucks with a view of Taal Volcano (3-min walk from hotel) which is open until around midnight. They also have a rooftop restaurant where you can order skewers of pork, isaw, tenga, etc. and grill it yourself. Great for night bbq and beer with friends, but open only until 9pm (At least on a Saturday night).

We always choose containers by eco hotel even when we were in Palawan. Aside from the fact that we always have a comfortable accommodation. The staff were courteous. The were friendly. It was a complete package. They even have complimentary drinks and breakfast.

Service was good. They allowed us to check in early. The Staff were friendly and very accommodating too! Our room's heater in the shower wasn't working, the staff resolved it even if it was already 9pm. The room was also clean and in order.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The ambiance was very relaxing. It wasn't noisy at the time we stayed which was great. The hotel was eco-friendly and artistic. I loved the toiletries, especially the lotion! I bought some cause it was really good. We'd definitely go back here! ❤️

Quiet location but near restaurants. Museo Orlina is close by. The greenery and openness of the facilities were relaxing. Staff were nice and helpful. Breakfast also very good.
