Great stay after an intensive diving sessions”
We stayed a few days in Sabang and had a few dives at the dive sites nearby. We chose Coral Garden Resort to end our trip after an intensive diving sessions. Just want to do some snorkeling around the coral reefs. This small resort is away from Sabang, located in an island beside a local village, and most importantly, it is away from bars, dive shops and other touristic attractions. We were the only guest there and the concierge is very nice and helpful. We bought fresh seafood from local market (need to take boat to Puerto Galera) and have them cooked by the chef! I think this hotel is very suitable for couples or families who want to take a break away from tourist crowd. We were very happy with the service offered.

Good value for money with friendly staff and the best quality food in Philippines.”
Very friendly and accommodating staff, recreational facilities such as pool table stick needs fixing (broken) Staff were very helpful. Food quality and menu selection is the best I seen in Philippines. I assume the hotel owner who is a chef has personally trained the staff and it has worked well for this small property. Rooms are modern and very clean although the building has aged. I am glad I booked in Coral Gardens and Montani beach resort in Sabang both are under same ownership and exceeded our expectation.

Excellent Stay at the Coral Gardens”
This place was so near the coral sanctuary. Although we always had to take a boat to the coral gardens and pay extra. Had i known there was passage to the side of the island where you can swim towards nearby corals, i wouldn't have had spent too much hiring boats. Nearest coral sanctuary from the city. Food was excellent! boats were free going to and from the hotel, what a perfect stay

Peaceful and affordable place in Puerto Galera”
This hotel is in an island where some of the locals actually live. It's the perfect place if you don't like the the crowd in Sabang or White Beach. It has it's own restaurant with a wide selection of dishes. It's a bit pricey but the servings are generous. It's called Coral Garden for a reason. The beach right in-front has coral patches which is great for snorkeling. You just have to watch your every step since there are lots of sea urchins. Me and my five year old daughter enjoyed snorkeling while my wife was taking photos/videos from our room's veranda which is only a few meters away. It's also near the popular snorkeling areas and the long beach. Getting there: From Batangas port, we took the boat going to Muelle. The staff picked us up at Muelle port in-front of the tourism office and dropped us at the hotel at no additional charge. Upon check-out, the hotel staff also took us back to Muelle port at no extra charge. Tip: It's best to buy your return tickets in advance to avoid long queues on the day itself.

A very satisfying honeymoon stay :)”
I love this place. A hidden gem in Puerto Galera. If you are looking for peace and quiet, a laid back vibe, a place to slow the time down. This place will cover all of it. Hope they had credit card options though, just in case their guests have cash problems. But all in all, the place is superb.

Great hotel and location for snorkeling and relaxing”
The hotel is on the island of San Antonio. And it is the only one there. Free transport from Muelle port is provided by the hotel. Best call them when you are starting from Batangas port. First snorkel spot is just on the beach of the hotel. If you look for any excursions or snorkel trips just ask the cook (Marvin) he will organize it for a cheaper prize. He and his family lives on San Antonio. Rooms are clean and spacious. I enjoyed snorkeling at daytime and relax in the evening on the balcony. Once the sun sets you wont hear much except sometimes a smaller boat passing by. Supermarket and ATMs are only available at Muelle so plan carefully.

Very Nice for Short Stay”
The room, food, and service were all excellent. The only drawbacks were that it sits on an island away from the Sabang and White Beach areas. Possible to arrange boats to those locations, but that is not as convenient as being able to walk.....Also, there was an issue of a dead kitten on the stairway for a few hours, but it was eventually removed. If you need some isolation for a couple of days, the room and the service are ideal.

Nice views and snorkel area”
Cute place just beside coral garden, facikities are fine but as it's currently to be sold there's lack of maintenance and stuff is not so proactive.

Noisy, but close to snorkeling ”
Great room with view of the Sea. Unfortunately transport is on noisy boats from dusk till dawn, right in front of the Hotel. Also there is a lot of traffic on the beach in front of Hotel, there is a school right next to the Hotel. The staff and people around is talking loudly throughout the day, making it hard to relax on the terrace. Snorkeling trips are available to a reasonably price, because the coral "garden" is nearby. There were no TV-channels there during my stay. The food is excellent.

nice break away”
This hotel is a bit away from the main Sabang area, but if you want peace and quiet for a couple of days then this is the place for you. You dont need to travel to sabang or muilie port, but if you need to, just take one of the water taxi's. The staff is very professional and very helpful. The rooms are nice and big with all the mod cons you expect. The high light is definitely the restaurant, with a large variety of international and local dishes. Get a seaview room, it is worth it.

Could be better”
Great location for snorkeling from the beach. Staff was ok, but the fact that the owner is trying to sell this place might make them less engaging. Plus, every day there was a new chef and a new waitress. No wonder that the same salad looked and tasted different each day (not a positive thing). Getting a BBQ was a real challenge.

too far from everything ”
Hotel is ok, rooms are nice and big but it s far from everything, from local markets, restaurant, etc and I was the only person in the hotel... It s also not real beach or possibility to swim in front because of lot of boats that can get quite noisy. To get out of the island to reach mainland, you have to pay and it was overpriced. Organized by the manager, for example, my trip in her husband's motorcycle to white beach was 600 pesos while normal tourist price is 200! It didnt feel right to me...I left earlier than I booked for

No TV channels and limited wifi because they 'needed a load', food not that great and prices above average in PG.

More improvements needed, not recommended at the moment.”
Pros: 1. Not crowded, quiet location. 2. Staff was able to arrange transpo from Muelle port to resort quickly and free of charge. 3. Food was tasty and sufficient but a bit pricey. 4. Resort was at the beach front. Cons: 1. Construction on-going when we arrived, carpenters working on our doorstep. 2. Not recommended to swim at their front beach because I saw a lot of sea urchins just below waist depth. Also, many boats parked at the beach front so you cannot swim and enjoy the water. 3. No cable tv on our room, expired subscription. I asked a couple of times and was promised to be reconnected but it did not. 4. Nothing much to do on a free basis when staying at the resort, you have to pay for other activities like snorkeling, kayak, diving, etc. 5. No nearby establishments or other restaurants. Just small stores but supplies are very limited.

Acceptable”
whatever the amenities or facilities they have mentioned in the post it should be available disregard if the tourism or their sales is not that good. the fact that the customer purchased it online we expect that those are available when we arrived. but it's opposite so when we checked-in for 2 or more hours the internet, tv are not available. the air-con is leaking and the boat or shuttle they call it is not available for free. it is free only for pick-up and drop-off but if you want to go to the outer port is not possible. if you want to go you need to pay for it which is not acceptable for me because you purchased the accommodation in an island so if the guest want to go to the other port they have to provide for it as part of their services mentioned in the post online.
