Good location and friendly staff”
Coral Strand is very well located, it has own access to the beach, which is cleaned daily, which is important in this area. The only downside is that there are constantly high waves. On the other hand, there is a children's slide on the territory of the hotel, which is convenient if you're traveling with kids. There is also a nice sushi place on the premises where you can grab some fresh tuna sashimi or rolls. Our accommodation included breakfast, which, IMHO was a bit poor.. Nonetheless, don't get me wrong, the hotel itself is nice and cozy, though a bit old and needs some renovation. Oh, almost forgot, you can feed and pat the three aldabra turtles that live in the hotel's garden.

A very good hotel with great staff ”
It was our first stay in Seychelles. I been in so many places around the world. And definitely will recommend this hotel to others. We took a package with breakfast, lunch and dinner in Coral Strand Smart Choice. The food was excellent. A chief Frank did a great job, was always present to maintain a food replenishment in the restaurant. Chicken curry, fish carry, grilled fish etc very amazing. So yummy and clean. The food menu is every day different. If you are into healthy diet there are many good options. The room was okay, a bit small shower. No issues with hot water. Rooms were well cleaned and well maintained. There is a fridge in the room, kettle, hairdryer. We have requested iron with a desk. They brought it to us very fast. A beach just in few meters. Paradise place with very helpful staff and a great hospitality. Also they let us use a shower room even after check out as our flight departure was at night. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Love you all. Would definitely be back.

The beach, sunsets, and staff made it all worth it for me. Conveniently on the desired beach. The bar dining was good, and the staff was most helpful. I highly recommend this hotel for the budget. I travel often and had no issues with the room. The bed was so comfortable and clean.

Especially staff is greet. Very trained and courteous. Good food. Breakfast was included. Reasonable price for the area. Unique part was tortoise there in their park. Loved it. I’ll stay again at same place if I ever go back to Seychelles. Appreciate the hospitality especially fruit tray as the staff warned that we are getting married that was good gift from the staff to receive. Thank yo Igor everything

Perfect choice on the best beach”
Very nice hotel, very good location right at the best beach! Friendly, helpful staff, always smiling! We had onky breakfast but we ate several times at the beach bar and the food was good so as the view! We had a wonderful stay, I would recommend this hotel!

Couldn't be better”
The staff were really friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Rooms were spotless with good facilities. The hotel itself has a nice pool and a paddling pool for kids and it is right on the beach, which is a lovely stretch of sand.

Budget-friendly location, great location and staff! ”
My partner and I stayed for two weeks. The hotel is from the 70s, and shows its age a little bit with minor cosmetic imperfections. But this small negative is easily made up for by the great location, staff, food, and overall value. Definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a relaxed, easy-going place to stay, rather than a 5-star, luxury environment. Location: fantastic, situated right on the Beau Vallon beach, the longest beach on Mahe. There is a reef just off the south end of the beach, where we saw sea turtles and sting rays every day, along with plenty of fish diversity. The reefs are somewhat damaged, but you still find pockets of healthy coral. Staff: very friendly, helpful, and the service is great. Food: we had breakfast and dinner (buffet) included in our stay. The food was a bit samey from day to day (a few salad options, one or two chicken / fish / lamb / beef dishes, and a dessert), but it tasted amazing, and we were very satisfied. There is also an indian restaurant (delicious) and a sushi restaurant (closed while we were there) available for a reasonable extra cost if you need a change. Rooms: The hotel is from the 70s, and the rooms sometimes have small flaws: a crack in a corner of the ceiling, a noisy airconditioner unit next door, etc. These are minor issues though, and shouldn't be a problem. The biggest issue was thin walls - in our first room, we could hear our neighbour in the adjoining room talking and moving around. We asked for a new room, and they gave it to us right away, and the new room was much quieter. OVERALL: we thouroughly enjoyed our stay at Coral Strand Smart Choice. It was a great place to explore Mahe from, and I have no regrets about having booked it.

The best hotel on that beach for the price. Restaurant's food was good. A perfect place to stay for few days. It is on the beach so it was convenient to swim and sunbath, sun-beds and beach towels r provided. Room r bit old, the hotel need some renovation. Rooms are small. The hotel provided us late check out and a lounge when we arrived. I think lounge needs some improvement( food and drinks were not nice). I hope they will put there a coffee mashine and more selection of tea/coffee plus some snacks. The cups were not clean. With some improvement it could be a nice place!

I read a few negative reviews about Coral Strand but we really enjoyed our stay. The room was spotlessly clean with a nice balcony and you can have beach/sea views. Breakfast was huge and varied, staff lovely and the location on Beau Vallon beach is perfect. The restaurants/bar is not cheap but there are plenty of alternatives nearby. We would definitely return.

I highly recommend the Coral Strand. Great location on lovely beach, good food, nice pool and beach with loungers. AND EXCELLENT GUEST RELATIONS TEAM!!! Cant say enough about the support we received when my husband got a bad infection and was ill with fever. Our 3 night stay turned into 6, with several visits to the 'emergency room' at the Victoria hospital. Aisha and Stella assisted us in dozens of ways, all with care and concern. Definitely recommend this choice! Choose an ocean view room-worth the extra $.
