Located 20 minutes from Mactan International Airport, the resort's unique, round villas are nestled in lush tropical greenery with a view of the ocean. The resort is five minutes from Cebu's floating restaurant, Lantaw, and a 20-minute boat ride to Hilutungan's Marine Sanctuary where guests can snorkel. Cordova Reef Village Resort has an excellent location beside the beach and is ideal for relaxing or beach activities. The hotel provides guests with a variety of outdoor activities, particularly water sports such as snorkeling, jet skiing, kayaking, parasailing, fishing, and open water scuba diving certification. Golfing can also be arranged for guests at a nearby golf course. The hotel can assist guests with airline reservations or reconfirmation, foreign exchange, laundry and dry cleaning, transportation, and medical assistance. The hotel also has massage and aromatherapy services, life guards overseeing swimmers at the beach, and a free-form swimming pool. Cordova Reef Village Resort is the ideal place that gives guests a simple and carefree holiday in a seaside village.

Cordova reef village resort is perfect for family, solo and couple. Have your own haven”
Cordova reef village resort offered us early check in. I appreciate it so much! Instead of the standard check in of 2pm they let us check in at 8.30am We spent 3 nights and 4 days at the resort with my family, 2kids 6yrs old and 2 yrs old and 1 senior, and everything is good. Service is prompt. Staff were very hospitable and accommodating. I would highly recommend this resort to my friends and relatives if you want to escape from busy city and want to experience solitude. Thank you so much cordova reef village for the early check in.
Nice, quiet hotel where one can comfortably relax”
The best hotel in which I have ever stayed in Philippines (with the exception of the Shangri-La in Boracay). The Cordova Reef Village Resort is so peaceful and relaxing and has good and efficient wifi connectivity. The rooms are superb and the staff are helpful and friendly. The restaurant menu is a bit limited although it is changed on a daily basis. Also it seems to take a long time to serve the food. But if you like to relax, that is not a problem. Also take care to use plenty of mosquito repellent (sadly, i did not, and my legs are quite swollen as a result, even after two days now back in UK).
Tropical Paradise - For Two”
Delightful Experience. Planned four day rendezvous with my fiancee. Most hotels in Cebu were full due to Sinulog Festival. Read mixed reviews for Cordova Reef and made reservations with an Open Mind. We had an absolutely wonderful time. Positives: 1, The Pool, Beach and Facilities were clean and everything worked. 2. The food was well prepared, tasty and reasonably priced. 3, The private, poolside bungalow with an ocean view was FANTASTIC. CONS: 1. WiFi was available, but only in the main lobby. 2. The location is isolated, but $3-5 US will get you anywhere you want to go. IF you are traveling for business or night life, this is not the place for you. IF you are seeking romance and relaxation this is hard to beat. We enjoyed our stay immensely, will return in the future and would definitely recommend it to anyone seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle of work and crowds.
Good value for money; has seen grander days, but has a very nice staff”
This is a lovely place if you are a traveler who looks for value, likes the touches of comfort without the cost, and are willing to venture out beyond the resort. Clearly, Cordova Reef Village Resort has seen grander days, but the property has "good bones" (as they say in the building business). Moreover, it has a very, very gracious staff, which made the difference to us. What appealed to us was the spaciousness of the cottages, or "villas," and the grounds. We stayed in Deluxe Garden Villa #39, which was comfortable and adequate. The round villas are of varying sizes and are divided in half for bedroom and bathroom. We had two twin beds (also called "full" or "double" beds in the U.S., and can accommodate two average-sized people), two nightstands, an armoire that contained an old-style tube TV and a mini-fridge, and shelf space, plus a desk and chair. The bathroom was all marble tile, had two sinks, a bathtub and separate shower. Amenities were toothbrush kits, plus generically labeled soap, shampoo, hair conditioner and lotion (not name-label products). It appears all the villas are different in furnishings and state of renovation. They all had a small patio, with two chairs and a table for outdoor relaxation, though you do have to ask the room attendant to clean off the furniture when you settle in. I especially liked the double-hung cotton muslin-gauzy curtains for letting in light but providing privacy. Towels are thick and of good quality, but they are clearly trying to get ring the last bit of value out of them, since some are fraying and getting a bit worn. They had bath towels and hand towels, but no face cloths. The resort seemed very sparsely occupied by guests when we checked in mid-week, and we saw perhaps 15 other people during our stay. There was one or two other families like ourselves, but mostly couples. Staff told us that the resort was about 60 percent full, not counting the units that were undergoing refurbishing and redecorating. We
A big beautiful place with awful surroundings”
Cordova Reef Village Resort is a fantastic beautiful Place. A fantastic Villa, beautiful big area, With a big swimming pool (mostly for children). They have Kayaks for free (for High Tide use). When the sun is shining in December, this is really a wonderful Place. I had bad Luck With the weather, and my girlfriend did not show up until a few days later. The customer service is excellent. One flaw is that a serving personell did try to sell me a romantic dinner for two, before i had my check-in. A huge mistake. The Food was ok, nothing more. Try the Swiss/italian restaurant in centre of Cordova, which is terrible Place. A poor Place on Earth, many beggars and awful infrastructure. The trip to Cebu City is hell due to Heavy traffic, during most of the day. I Guess the right thing to do is to stay inside of the resort.
Great Place to Get Away From it All”
Incredible surroundings, private bungalows, excellent swimming pool, excellent ocean views. Restaurant could be better, but other restaurants in close proximity; I suggest the "Floating Restaurant". The Cordova is not too busy and the staff will bend over backwards to help you with any issue. I will never stay anywhere else on Mactan Island, Cebu.
Chillin in the City”
We had little time to explore the beaches of Cebu. Thankfully Mactan has an answer for that with numerous man made beach resorts scattered in the island. Cordova gave us a glimpse of the beauty of Cebu. Although I imagine it will not compare to the original, as most man made stuff do, the place gave us summer breeze and orange horizons. They have spa too but we weren't able to experience it. Try their shrimp dish. A+ Bathtub in some rooms. A++ (Note: Open bathroom is not my thing but it ain't so bad) Peace and Quiet. A+++ (free wifi signal is only at the lobby) Facilities and Ammenities show signs of wear. The place has potential so mgt should look into upgrading (i.e. pillow casings with loose threads, greyish bathrobe that looks dirty, fresh paint please). IG Worthiness Rating: 3/5
Economic stay in Cebu”
Cordova Reef Beach Resort is an economic way to stay in Cebu. Good quality/price. Nice pool. Cheap meals. Big cottage rooms. Very quiet. Good option for 3☆ hotel. 30 minutes by taxi from the airport.
Very relaxing and quiet”
Overall very enjoyable. It was hard to find since there are not may signs out and asking the local people caused confusion because they pointed us to "Cordova Home Village". Would stay there again, but not for the full price because it is too hard to get to and from and the accommodation, amenities and location don't warrant $200+ per night.
luxury resort”
pleasant stay for a couple, ideal location if you have a car to tour mactan and cebu, very good facilities luxury decoration of rooms and bathrooms, very original building style.
Exceptional”
Beautiful resort, spacious rooms and nice beach area. Only 30 mins from Mactan-Cebu Airport.
A good stay. Older resort but relaxing.”
This is an older resort that is showing its age but is completely satisfactory if your expectations don't exceed a 3 star experience. The grounds are quiet large and interesting to walking around. The common area is very clean with amazing and peaceful views, especially nice during breakfast. The rooms need some minor repairs and show some age but are mostly clean say for some spider webs here and there. The private beach is a lagoon beach and not the cleanest but the reef area is quite interesting to explore with the provided kayaks as there is a lot of life in the water; not for swimming though as the urchins and jelly fish are numerous. The "tennis court" is sand so obviously not good for tennis but this wasn't an issue for us. The pool needs a better filtration system and needs proper chemical balancing. The water is a bit foggy... which doesn't mean it is dirty but does mean improper chemical usage. The menu is limited but good. There was some inconsistency from day to day due to what was available from the markets I suspect but the food is clean. The drinks at the bar are a bit watered down but I have found this to be a rather common and irritating truth among most resorts. Prices for food a drinks at the resort are high for the area but not a deal breaker, your options, after all, are limited. Don't buy water at the resort as it is almost 800% markup, go down the street to the 7-11 or to other marts. The staff are very polite and kind. They did their best to accommodate us and help us with our needs. We paid a little over 90,000krw a night which is a bit high for the age of the resort and rooms. If the price was closer to 75/80,000 I'd say it is spot on. If you are looking for a peaceful resort, plan to stay on the resort and don't want to spend much money then this place will work for you. I'd say 3-4 nights here is good but a week or more would start to be boring for most people I suspect. Overall, we can recommend this resort for the right price and for
Nice and quiet overnight stay”
Celebrated father's day at Cordova Reef Village Resort. We chose it because of the price. I didn't see many people there so we had the pool to ourselves. The villa we stayed in was very nice. I give this resort 3 stars out of 5. I would have given it more but their restaurant was so disappointing. My family wasn't impressed with the food. It was sub-standard and not worth the price they are charging.
Magical hideaway It was such a pleasure truly to be pampered with exquisite beauty and serene quiet”
It is really a super quiet, beautiful hideaway with an excellent staff and fantastic dining experiences. Staff went out of their way to help me with a multitude of personal business problems I had to deal with . I wish to recognize Lotlot for all her extra going above and beyond to make my stay successful! I really enjoyed the clever villas: how they were designed with a circular motif and in the close proximity to the pool and to the beach; always a thoroughly enjoyable walk in and around the facilities which are well-maintained by a very friendly staff. Both the breakfast buffet and the open air restaurant are a pure delight as you eat well prepared, fresh food with the refreshing ocean breeze swirling about you and viewing the wonderful Philippines landscape just a few feet from your table ! I am most interested in returning to this dream of a gem resort!!! One of my only recommendations would be to supply better quality towels; the towels are terribly old, worn!
spacious and clean facility, poor surrounding ”
Remotely located on Mactan Island but OK by taxi from Cebu airport. Nice and efficient staff, clean and luxury facility, but surrounding is poor local village where some people does Karaoke with loud speakers all day. It was too bad we could hear the funny singing within the hotel sometimes. Internet was OK.
good”
It is in the corner of Mactan Island, but it is quiet and scenic. However, it is inconvenient because convenience facilities are far from here, The staff are very friendly and the food is okay. It is recommended if you want quiet surroundings.
great hotel but location is not good”
everything was great. nice staff, good manager, walkable distance to beach. However, I had to wait for almost 40 mins for the taxi to airport b/c of road condition/ bad location. the hotel located at the end of mactan island. the distance from hotel to airport isn't that far(30 mins) but the road condition is really bad.
Beautiful resort with relaxation ”
We visited with 18 month daughter. Resort was very beautiful and well organised place. It is excellent for resting and enjoy swimming with little baby. However only 1 thing was bothering us is that breakfast service was really poor and we need to prepare some more food for us & baby after breakfast. If this resolt can improve food service more, it would become 5 star resort in the future, we guess. :) The resort located very last place of Cordova and you need to use jeepney or tricycle or taxi to visit other places. We mostly use jeepney during day time and it was safe and intersting experience. Every filipino we met were very kind and willing to let us know the direction so it was very thankful. However it might not safe to walk around during night time.
Out of the way...but has potential”
This hotel has very friendly staff. The cordova is located about as far from the airport on mactan island as you can go without getting closer to the airport. The resort itself has some good points. The rooms are cottages that are cylindrical and spacious. They are simple and clean and mostly comfortable. The food at the resort was about a 4 out of 10. A little pricey and quality is ... well suspiciously out of a can at best, except their handburgers are quite good.
Quiet resort”
First time in Philippines, I booked this place cos it looked fairly close to the departure points for diving but far enough away to be quiet. Pro: 1. Definitely quiet. Amazing really, sometimes felt like I was the only person there and I wondered how they paid for all the staff! 2. Room was actually a self-contained studio apartment thingy, right by the pool, about 60 metres from the beach. Nice one. Pro/con 1. Room cleaning staff were attentive, almost too much so. Each day when I went for breakfast, I would return to my room to encounter cleaners in the middle of cleaning stuff. Responsive, yes, but maybe wait til I've gone out for the day? Con: 1. Minor point, but if your interests are mainly in central Cebu then it's a good 30++ minutes taxi trip before you even get to the bridge from Lapu-Lapu to Cebu. For me, this was part of its appeal because it meant it was very quiet and peaceful.
