2nd hostel”
I thought I was booking at the original hostel. it is newer but not with the same feel. there is not enough bathrooms for everyone. i wish they would have made more bathrooms

A bad point is only to be a little bit far from the center like a night-market”
Room and each bed is really spacious so easy to do packing and good to take a rest. Also good privacy, free laundry, good WIFI, a clean bathroom and a locker for baggage. You can take a cup of tea or coffee at 1st floor. I love it. I drunk it every time before leaving for the town and sleeping. This house is far from the center but near from the station. So I was able to go to Taroko National Park by bus early morning. I really like corner hotel so I will stay here again when I come to Hualien next time.

Great place & helpful staff”
Place has 2 buildings, opposite of each other. The Corner House, is the branch, and it is a hostel. The hostel itself besides having common hostel rooms, it also has 2 rooms with private bathrooms and basic amenities. Both are just a walking distance away from the train station. The staffs are, however, one of the best I've met across my travels. Very genuinely helpful and informative. Gave a lot of recommendations on what to do in Hualien and I am grateful for their assistance. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Clean room and toilet. Bicycle was rented out to us for free as tenants so we could roam around Hualien. 7eleven was just 3 minutes walk. Do inform the staff prior to check in because sometimes the staff aren't there but they may be at the opposite property just accross the building under the same name Corner something.

Located at Hualien back station. Walk about 5 to 10mins walking distance. Room is clean and the beds are separated with curtains, have own privacy and the shared room space is big enough.

Great value for solo, train station 5minutes walk”
Great value if you look for a bed , 5minutes distance from train station. The bed was clean and when you check out there is a storage for your bag. And You still can come back for a rest while waiting your train back to other place. May be during long holiday weekend, there was no staff in this hostel. They are at another branch which just opposite of corner house.

Very clean and comfortable”
About 3 minutes walk from the station. They let us use the locker before checking in so we could walk around without our bags. Also has good laundry room with big machines and space to hang dry. I must say the young man working the front desk (forget his name :< ) was really awesome and friendly. He made our stay really enjoyable.

The owner is very very nice, kindly. Rooms are very clean, good smell. They have all cosmetics for girl (skincare, lotion, shampoo,...) washing machine, dry machine just 10 twd/time, very cheap, the orher hostel is 50 twd/time. Don't worry about the noisy, all people are very kind too.

Extremely value for money!! Very nice hostel staff (did not manage to get her name but she was so SO helpful even though she could not speak English very well and I could not speak Chinese very well). The hostel had everything - towels, shampoo/soap, hairdryer, even sanitary pads (first I've ever seen for a hostel!). It was really near the train station as well. Bed was extremely comfortable and had a really good night's sleep here. Would HIGHLY recommend staying here!

Large TV, Large quality Bed and linens, No breakfast, Noisy people walking around poor sound insulation, bathroom shower would spray all over the bathroom area including directly at the door which makes it messy. Didn't experience too much service encounter with the staffs. For the same price, there are better places in front of the train station.
