Best stay in Coron”
Over all, it was pleasant. It was my 2nd time to stay at CVL and I must say I wouldn't mind booking it for the 3rd time. Its location is one of its selling point, there was a bank (BPI) near the lodge, they serve good food too, it is walking distance from the wet market and the boulevard (where all the boats are). You'll find nearby restaurants (Lolo Nonoy's, Sinugba sa Balay to name a fee) with good food too. The staff were very accomodating and they always greet you. I asked for a make up artist (since we're doing an engagement shoot) and in a few minutes they were able to give me the make up artist's contact number and they didn't disappoint too. The make up artist was really good! My recent trip in Coron was short but sweet, thanks to CVL for making it worthwhile.

Great Stay at Coron Village Lodge. Location is wonderful for walking around town and close to restaurants, boat dock, etc. Rooms are very nice, but simple...all that is needed when you're exploring Coron all day. Would stay again!

modest, safe and affordable”
A very enjoyable stay. Location was ideal- a bit on the edge of town. Food on site was convenient. Wifi was a bit slow and u predictable but who goes to Coron to surf the net. The room was modestly appointed. Clean, with ample hot water and good A/C. I wished it had a safe for valuables but I had no problems during my stay. Would definitely stay here again if I return.

Fair value ”
We had originally booked a triple bed room in the old wing but upon seeing it switched to the much smaller room in the new wing. To be blunt the old wing rooms are grim, I stayed 8 nights in total and could not have done it in the old wing room. Most of the reviews are pretty accurate, Wi-Fi in the restaurant is basically useless walk up the road to a bar and use theirs. I had great experience with the staff and have only great things to say about them. The property itself is considered to be a bit "out of town" but that meant a 7 minute walk to town center or a .30 cent ride in a moto taxi. All things considered I would not book it again, and to be honest if you are not in Coron to scuba dive 1 or 2 nights is more than enough.

It was okay”
Regarding money and location, it is quiet alright but they didnt clean our room. The washroom was not as neat, there were ants everywhere, mosquitoes and a cricket found its way in, in our room. There is limited power outlets, it took us 24 hours to be able to get a hold on an exestension cord. The AC and fan was okay. All in all, this place is good for a short amount of period stay in Coron.

The only fault to this hotel was it’s wifi was never working so we had to use Buzz cafe down the road from the hotel. We would have eaten more at the hotel if we had WiFi as the food was reasonably priced.. Had a great stay otherwise

Excellent”
Place is very good, walking distance from the noisy/busy town which is perfect if you are looking for a quiet place to relax. The only issue is that the AC is not working properly. Overall, this is a very good hotel and highly recommended!

overpriced tours and avoid the resto. ”
It's a average room but still ok. Be aware that this place are selling tours for 1500 pesos including snorkeling and lunch. The same tour is being sold from anywhere in the town for about 650. The restaurant is very average at best. American breakfast i.e contain a cold egg, a half hotdog and 3 pieces of toast. 150 pesos for something worth maybe 20. I tried a few other things and it's all of bad quality and slow service. Otherwise the room is comfy ebiugh, staff is nice and location is a short walk from restaurants.

This was a nice place to stay, rooms are good size, with air con and hot water.. staff could be friendlier and rooms don't really get cleaned properly from day to day.. but overall it was pleasant stay!

Pretty basic”
It's a pretty basic room. It's clean enough. Bed was comfortable. Keep your bathroom door shut though since the mosquitos seem to be coming from the bathroom window. We made the mistake the first night and we came back to a room full of mosquitoes.

Good location but poor staff quality ”
The place is well located at walking distance from city center but far enough for the noise. The staff is not helpful and do not care about their customer. The wifi is not available in the room but only in the restaurant which is across the road.

Sanitized beddings”
Either the blanket/towel/bedding is itchy. I wish they have white towels instead so it'd be easier for cleaners to spot dirt or insect or what not. There was also no floor mat/towel. The staff is accommodating.

Cheap stay”
The picture in their website is deceiving. We got the apartment type accommodation and there are a lot of disappointments. The place looks and smells old. The house was poorly maintained. The shower heater was not working, there were 2 occasions when there's no water coming out of the faucet, the stove doesnt have a gas tank, there's no fridge, and most of all, there's no drinking water nearby. if you want to get drinking water, you have to go out and get water from the restaurant. We wanted to have at least a water heater so we can drink coffee anytime we want but there's none. Very disappointing experience. The staffs, however, are friendly and accommodating.
