Agoda.com Statement on Novel Coronavirus
Due to the current situation regarding the novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV), Agoda is assisting our customers with extended free cancellation provisions for booking related to greater China area.
This special provision includes free cancellation for the following bookings:Unused bookings where the accommodation is located in greater China area, or unused bookings made by customers traveling from greater China area to anywhere in the world, with check-in dates before (including) 29th February 2020.
Bookings that meet the above criteria may be cancelled free of charge via the self service options below, or via our customer service hotline. Note that due to the high volume of inquiries, the fastest service is to use our self-service options available on the Agoda website or app.
Instructions for self-service cancellation
Using the app: Log in to the Agoda App -> My booking -> Select the hotel that needs to be cancelled -> Cancel my booking -> Select the reason.
Using our website: Log in to Agoda's official website (agoda.com) homepage and log-in Select "My Booking" -> Select "Edit Booking" -> Cancel the booking.
The safety of travelers is our priority, and Agoda continues to monitor announcements from the World Health Organization and other government and health entities. Updates to the cancellation provisions will be made as needed.
