Best new hotel at the most convenient location”

Location, Staffs, Nice room :)

Our first time in Rome, the nice staffs made it like home. We were upgraded to a room with a long balcony towards the street, you know, it is Rome, I never expect you could have a room with such layout and new design, what's more, you could see the Piazza Venezia directly just right there! So nice! After the 1st day, I started to realize how wonderful the hotel's location is ! you could walk to almost all historical attractions within 15 mins walk, e.g. Colosseum, Rome Forum, Pantheon, Fontana di Trevi, Bocca della vireta. And I have to mention, the hotel's staffs and service are rally excellent, the second night during our stay, there were some construction ongoing in the lobby, the following day when we got back to our room, surprisingly we received a warm gift, nice fruits, a bottle of Italian sparkling wine and a hand-written letter from the hotel manager apologizing for the noise by the construction! It is really considerate :-) Corso 281 gave us a really wonderful start for our Italy trip, I will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone and come back again !

Best Kept Secret in Rome (For now...)”

Accommodation, Location & Staff

We LOVED this place! After a long week, my boyfriend and I decided a chill and relaxing weekend is exactly what we needed. When I arrived I was met by the absolutely lovely Silvia, who not only informed me that I was able to check-in early, but that they had also very generously upgraded our room. And what an amazing room it was! I felt like I was at home (actually, I WISH my place was as nice as the hotel). The room was a good size (larger than other hotel rooms I’ve had while staying in Italy), very clean, super comfortable bed, the bathrooms (yes, there were two in the room!) were a really good size and the sitting/lounge area felt like we were at home (there was also water, Nespresso, as well as Bvlgari toiletries). My boyfriend who was driving up from Naples, was given great directions from Silvia on where to park, as you are unable to drive on the street without a permit due to the location of the hotel. Speaking of which…the location is amazing!! We were walking distance from a number of major attractions, shopping and restaurants. Both Silvia and the owner Natalino were extremely helpful in guiding us and providing suggestions on where to go and how to get there. The next morning breakfast, which was included with our stay, was served in our room (it was beautifully laid out on our table – tablecloth and all! – like we were in a dining room) at a time that we selected the night before. There was a number of items that you could choose from including tea, coffee(s), toast, yoghurt, cereal and pasteries – more than enough for the both of us. And last but not least – the staff. We absolutely adored them! We felt so welcomed when we arrived, and each person we met made us feel so comfortable and relaxed during our stay. We really enjoyed our chats with everyone and felt like we were saying goodbye to friends when we left. We highly recommend Corso 281! It was the perfect place for our relaxing weekend and we are most definitely going to be going back!

Luxury suite centrally located”

The suite was as good as expected from the reviews given. A luxury adequately sized suite (45m2) with all the mod cons you would expect! Loved the fact it had a beautiful rain shower bathroom and a further en-suite to the bedroom. For coffee lovers the Nespresso machine was a bonus! Also a kitchenette with microwave and kettle; great if you have young children. Very comfortable and home from home feel with local shops and restaurants on your doorstep including a short walk away from the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. Staff were very attentive and polite. My constructive criticism would be to mention that a decent cork screw would have been appreciated. There is satellite TV but a few more dedicated channels to English speaking travellers would also be welcomed. Lastly the breakfast, whilst amazing and generous, could have less sweet offerings, e.g. plain croissants and at the price offer scrambled eggs/omelettes included in the price of your stay. We were staying in room 3 on the 1st floor which does incur some noise from the reception but was ok if you were in the bedroom as you could close the door. All in all though a great place to stay which I would recommend to anyone who wishes to stay in a luxury apartment in the centre of Rome.

Excellent room in an amazing location with super helpful staff!”

We stayed for 5 nights with 2 children in the Deluxe Suite. The room was elegant, spacious and well maintained. Being located on Via Del Corso, the hotel is within walking distance of the Colosseum, Pantheon, Piazza Venezia, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza di Spagna, Trevi Fountain etc. Although the streets were bustling with shoppers and tourists, the room was quiet and tranquil and we able to quickly return to the room for short breaks. Breakfast was delivered to the room and had an ample selection of food. The hotel staff were excellent. They were friendly, helpful and genuine in their quest to ensure we had a memorable stay. We particularly appreciated their care to arrange breakfast boxes on the days we were leaving the hotel early and help with sourcing and booking train tickets for a short trip to Venice. We will surely return!

rome”

the location, the staff and the hotel its self.

On arriving the staff were exceptionally helpful and continued to be so for our three night stay. What was nice is they always had a nice smile. The room was as it is shown, very clean , fresh bedding daily and modern. It is on a main road but there is no traffic noise at allin the room. The breakfast is chosen from a list the night before and deliverd to your room at your requested time. This service was fantastic and the food was always very nice and there was always more than you chose. The advert states a smart tv which it was but it had no usb so my child could not watch any movies and other than bbc news no english channels. Not moaning about it but thought i would mention it. Over all the stay was a pleasure thanks to the hotel and staff and the added bonus of a great location to all of the attractions which most were only 5 to 15 minuets walk away.

Beautiful room with smart design. They provided a phone with internet connection for guests to get travel ideas and getting around the city. You can also make phone call to EU number (which I found very useful). They also send breakfast every morning to our room and prepare the dining table. We could choose from a menu the night before and scheduled for the time of delivery.
