Hidden Gem in Nuwaraeliya ”
Costwold stone cottage is located in a nice location where you could find all Europe architectural designed houses and cottages and the property is located within a proximity of 3 KM from the city Centre. It’s a completely different experience as the property is a unique one while it offers its rooms at really reasonable rates. The location is ideal for relaxation as it has got only 4 rooms and the surrounding is peaceful and quite with some nice views where you could see the views of 270 degrees. Further, it’s inside the English cottages, which is a private property where only few residents and the guests are allowed to enter to the premises. As a person who has visited for more than 10-15 5 star hotels, I was really glad to see the quality of service offered by this wonderful property. All the staff members were super friendly and helpful. Foods offered were really tasty and we really enjoyed the food during our stay. We are really thankful to the property manager I.N. David for his professional and helpful service and Ravi and Dilshan for providing us a really good service. They always voluntarily offer their assistance for any matters. Would like to recommend this getaway to everyone who seeks relaxation with a peaceful atmosphere. You would find this property really interesting if you are interested in architectural properties and we would definitely visit this place once again.

A piece of England in Nuwaraeliya”
I stayed at Cotswold stone cottage and absolutely loved it. The rooms are very clean, super cute and cozy and the place itself is just so lovely and picturesque. The staff were very helpful and went out of the way to make our visit worthwhile. They even took the extra effort to make some food seperately for my 1 year old.( Without me even asking). It's a lovely cottage situated in Little England. I did not get a chance to take many pictures except these 2 through my window.

Finding the place was a bit hard. Had to carry all my luggage to the room and down on arrival and departure respectively (even though I informed them about my late areival). As promised there were no welcome drinks on arrival. But the staff and the cottage were excellent

Amazing location & secluded ”
The place was beautiful and secluded. Slightly far from town if you dont have a driver, it would be a hassle. The rooms were so nice too and nicely done. The only thing was for 3 pax room, they provided a very uncomfortable bed and the additional charge was steep for this. Breakfast is also steep at 10 dollar per pax with verg basic meals. You could go to grand hotel for 13-15 dollar for unlimited breakfast buffet.

This is one of the best places I have been in Sri Lanka. Offers the best "LITTLE ENGLAND" experience in Nuwara Eliya. Highly recommended . Found this place at a really good price. Not very close to Nuwara Eliya Town. But within 10 Min you can drive to the town area. Very good place to relax and enjoy the beauty.

A real slice of Britain ”
The estate and building were beautiful and truly felt like we were taking a walk in England. The room came equipped with kettle, water, tea and toiletries and you get a cooked breakfast every morning. The staff were wonderful, so friendly and accommodating. It's nestled in amongst tea plantations which is beautiful but means you have to grab a taxi/tuk tuk if you want food (as there is nothing nearby), to visit any of the sites or town. It was about a 40 minute walk from there to the Pedro tea plantation.

Lovely place and amazingly made up place. There was no water at night from 10pm to 6am in the morning. Rest all was really fantastic.

The good outweighed the bad! ”
Until we arrived at the place, we were under the impression that the entire cottage would be for ourselves (4 pax). The cottage we stayed at (No 42) consisted of 3 rooms and we were told that 2 rooms would be given to us while another family would use the remaining room. However the other family was not happy with the idea of sharing and hence did not proceed to stay at the same cottageb as we did, so we had the entire cottage just for us! Pragash (Helper) was hands on there at the cottage attending to any need of ours. It's about a 8 minutes drive through rough terrain from the main road. The place itself does not offer many things to do for the guest's. The snooker table was not there. But it's a great place if you want to relax away from the hustle and bustle - felt like home. Thank you for everyone at Little England by Celeste for making our stay pleasant.

Hidden Gem within the Tea Hills of Nuwara Eliya”
Located near Gregory Lake, the property is within a gated community called Little England. Very scenic surroundings. Staff were all wonderful. We had dinner and breakfast in the cottage and the staff, especially the chef who was super friendly, we enjoyed his company very much.

The stay was lovely. Would recommend this place to anyone. Would have been better if the staff were ready with the appropriate booking details, because when we arrived, they did not know what rooms we have booked and one room was not ready. Would prefer more friendly staff.

A decent holiday home for a calm & quiet stay”
We stayed here two nights with my friend's family in early Feb. It's a very unique location with a very decent, secure neighborhood with plenty of space for kids to play outside. The holiday home itself is very well built with many of the basic facilities you need for a short stay. However, I would like to give some feedback on few things. === Room === The one I booked for my family was the most expensive room available. Although it was very spacious, it had only a queen size bed. It may have been mentioned on the site, however, I would recommend adding a king size bed so that at least a family with 2 young kids can comfortably sleep. === Staff === Although the house keeper "Lalee" did a great job during our stay, despite being pregnant, it's better to have someone more experienced to help her out. Lalee is a very good cook with no doubt, but there is more you can do if you place someone with experience. Overall it was a very good, enjoyable stay at Cotswold Stone Cottage..

This is Biggest mistake if you choose this this hotel”
Before booking we were confirm by telephone the dinner rise and curry is available for us about Rs. 800.00 . When we request our dinner they said it is not available. After us calling to hotel manager he said they can supply rise and curry for Rs. 1500. They don’t have any communication. In night we request heater. They supply very small heater and when we plug it room electricity was gone. We complain this incident and they said change the socket out let. But it did not work. After that when we try to use water heater again room electricity was gone. Hotel manager said we must wear socks for keep body heat. What a funny answer. He promise to solve the electrical problem next day 8.00 a.m. Next day room boy said problem was solved and they did not check the heater is working. When we check same problem was came. Manager said there was electrical problem in the room. We decided to leave the hotel and he said they can give discount for electrical problem. They do not care customers.

The worst place we didn’t stay at in Sri Lanka ”
It looked nice online but that’s the last good thing I can say about this place. The advert says the property is close to the centre of town. It wasn’t. It was isolated and in the middle of nowhere. A gated community that looks like some anonymous executive housing estate in the Uk. It was actually a building site. We clearly weren’t expected. There’s no reception or service here. No one appears to care if you’re there or not. The room was dirty. Dust on every surface and skirting boards, no towels and no toilet paper. The soap had been used with the wrapping paper half on. The facilities say there is a jacuzzi which could have saved the place a bit but there was no sign of one. It has to be the most soulless awful place. We couldn’t stay. When we spoke to someone on the phone (eventually)the only thing he was interested in saying to my husband was that we wouldn’t get a refund. No apologies or concern about how to improve things for us, their customer. Do not waste time here.

El Hotel está dentro de una urbanización a medio construir toda de hoteles. Son casas prefabricadas que imitan casas inglesas pero no tienen nada de autenticidad. Casas construidas en muy poco tiempo y de mala calidad. La humedad en la casa era terrible, en el baño de la habitación había setas creciendo. Hizo días de lluvia y hacía bastante frío dentro. No funcionaba la calefacción y no vi intención de arreglarla. Nos dieron un mini ventilador de aire caliente que no servía de mucho. EL personal era muy amable, lo mejor del hotel. Nos encendieron la chimenea de la sala de estar pero era insuficiente para caldear el ambiente. El colchón era muy blando y muy incómodo para dormir. Aun con la oferta de Agoda, el hotel era muy caro para lo que ofrecía.

这家真的超赞哪～别墅很美，房间也很干净，员工特别的好，我买了一个西瓜，厨房还帮忙切了。早餐非常丰盛美味。院子里有一个秋千，特别特别喜欢💕如果有机会再去这个地方，一定还会选择这家店！
