Best in area”
Cheap, breakfast included and quiet. So many hostels have crappy pop music blasting in the lobby thankfully this one didnt :)

Worth the money”
We were a group of 7, the room itself is really "compact" but has everything we need. clean and tidy. Location a bit of a struggle, +-1KM from khaosan road. and public transportation is a bit hard to reach. Overall, satisfied!

Lovely and quiet!”
Comfortable bunk in a quiet room (apart from the odd resident, which is to be expected in a dormitory). Breakfast is simple with bread, jam and fried eggs. Free water refill available and loads of restaurants and street food around.

Nice place to stay and near Khao San Road!”
10 minute walk to Khao San Road which is very quiet place. The reception opens until 8pm so if you need to check before 8pm, they have door bell beside door and you can check in. The Common space is open until 8pm I think its early.

Place is Quiet and Clean”
The place is quiet as there are only few guests checked in while I was there. The shower/toilet and the dorm are clean and they do it regularly. They serve bread, coffee or tea, and eggs in the breakfast. I don’t mind the stomping on the wooden floors of some guest as I am used to staying in a hostel dorms. Nice stay!

Okay”
It was nice hostel, tho i and some other backpackers had to leave the hostel before we went to sleep as we noticed that all the beds were full of bedbugs.. i hope they do something about it as i think the hostel itself is nice and cozy, they offer free brekky and drinking water, close to khaosan road, but not in the middle of all the crazyness! They were nice to refund our money back as we didnt stay in the hostel. I would recommend this hostel if they get rid of the bedbugs.

missing a real common area”
so this is a cheap hostel with all basic services. It has even a basic breakfast.... better than nothing to start the day. For the price you practically have a bed, with curtain and a locker. As i mentioned in the title, the common area is actually only open from 7am to 7pm. so if you bring food or something as i did the first night and you want to eat it, well you have to do it in the room where it is actually forbidden to bring food. So not practical... The following night i was eating in the street near by.

Not bad”
I stayed for 2 nights. Cleanliness is good. They also provide snacks and free drinking water for guests. The location is a 15-minute walk to Khao san. But the staff is not friendly and indifferent. Thank you.

Very quiet ”
The hostel is really quiet, so good for just sleeping. The qiuetness created a weird atmosphere though... everyone even the staff was whispering even throughout the daytime and it made me not feel welcome. It was ok for one night i wouldn’t stay again though.

Unfriendly staff ”
I stayed at the counting sheep hostel for four nights. The staff is very unfriendly even if you go up to them with a smile. When you have questions or you need anything, they give you the feeling you're not worthy of their time and don't really help you out at all. The beds are not really comfortable but the rooms and bathrooms are clean. There are many hostels in the same price range so if I return to Bangkok I will stay somewhere else. I just don't like the feeling of not being welcome.

Not what we booked for”
Be careful, if you choose the small dorm, you will not be in it for sure because they put you as they wish! My first stay here, one year ago, was quite nice despite disrespectful guests (still now). But they changed a lot! They are so rude now! Breakfast is bread, industrial jam, drinks and over-oiled (yes oil) cold eggs. No more noodles, no more salad. The big dorm is the worst, whenever someone walks, you feel like an earthquake. Common space closes at 8pm, and there are just a few places outside. Due to that experience, I would not go back again.

The staff were not friendly at all”
Pro: Breakfast was good Wifi was good They have hot water Cons: Staff were not friendly. I asked if I can move bed to the bottom one, she started speak in Thai and looks angry. I could move but she looked so angry for the whole day. Location is far from bus station and train. We have to walk at least 1 km to reach bus stop.

Just so so ”
There are just only three bathrooms and the floor is just a concrete floor with no ceramic tile. It looks not clean but it’s just ok, so many people live in one room.

Toilet facilities is contradicted to human using!”
Why the boss allowed the building-contrator to put the toilet'position just in front of the entrance when you open the toilet-door??? This not funny, but absolutely strange, ugly, disguising !! And the ground floor, please remove the urine-bowl !! Manager, do you like there's urine smelling in front of your face, when you sitting on the toilet? Remove the urine-bowl, replace it with a wash-hand basin or nothing installed is ok !! The breakfast time with eggs, cookies and banana won't keep the customer to stay longer, if you don't improve the dormitory's dead corner compartment!! You put your customer living in a can, just like canned-sardines!! : (

Not comfortable to sleep. I guess you get what you pay for”
I found the staff to be unresponsive and uncaring unless something is deemed important. While the bed itself was not bad to sleep in I didn’t know the AC was not always running. They turn it off late in the morning until the late evening in such a humid and hot city I could not even stay in a bed I paid for to rest. The bathrooms are dirty and there is barely toilet space to do your thing because it’s so tight. More often than not they will run out of tissue abs you can’t wipe. There’s also a constant stinky urine smell. I’m glad I chose another hostel and did not stay here my entire trip or I would have went mad. Please at least have someone clean this properly. On a side note they do not mention there is a 200 baht deposit fee. While it’s not really that much money I found it extremely unexpected and rude for them not to mention this. There are better places you can get for the same price, so don’t pick them.

B*d B*g trouble....”
So it needs to be said that the issue may of been sorted by the time you read this, but when I was there I was booked in for 4nights yet left after 1. This was due to the fact that I woke up at 1am to find the room full of B*d B*gs (not sure if Agoda have a key word removal filter). Other than that it seemed good in a “get what you pay for” sense. So Like I said it may of been sorted, just be aware :)
