This was a very pleasant experience with Country View Inn. Cleanliness is top notch here. The owner is very kind and totally take care of all needs a traveler trying to find, I would say they provide more than needs. The bed are comfortable. All facilities are maintain in their best condition for traveler comfort. Besides the basic a hotel provides, owner provide a very nice common room with mahjong and chess set available. You can even sing karaoke here if you are bored. The pantry is full of utensil for cooking and refreshment. Owner is very kind to share info about this little town. We took a tour with the inn to Rainbow Waterfall. The guide took care of us well and really tried to give us the best experience in Rainbow Waterfall. Highly recommended to stay here. Felt like you are going back to hometown for a getaway.

Sungai Lembing is just a small town and this hotel is right in the middle of it. Easy access to convenient store, restaurants, morning market, pasar and also walking distance to the Panorama hill entrance.

I had booked a superior double room (2 double beds) with Country View during Chinese New Year. The room was located at second floor and without bathroom attached. There is one toilet at first floor and 8 toilets at ground floor which is sufficient. The hostel owner do provide rainbow waterfall package with reasonable price. The only downside is the walkway in second floor is made by wood which made a lot of sound if someone is passing by. *Note that the hostel owner will not collect your money through Agoda but will collect it on the spot. Do not worry, you can pay by cash or by card.

Conveniently located opposite the food market and nearby Panorama Hill, 3D Gallery and Sungai Lembing Museum. Staff is friendly, approachable. The room with ensuite bathroom is basic but clean and tidy.

Location beside food court, around hotel has restaurants, convenience stores. Room soundproofing is a bit poor. Overall is good and price is worth.

I don't like to be reminded always about the check out time.”
Owner was always reminding us that we need to check out sharp 12 pm as a lot of people are coming later on. She tell that to every member of my group. It's a bit annoying... But, despite that...the hotel was a homey place, however please be expected that the room was a bit small, we all bump onto each other when staying there.

Staff is friendly and sociable, room is cozy, good location for hiking and departure to rainbow waterfall. Cons: Noise from motorbike in the midnight, causing unable to sleep well.

I booked room for 2 nights. When I found that it has no attached bathroom, I negotiated to upgrade to 1 with attached bath and stayed there for only 1 night instead. (They only hv 2 family rooms with attached bath). For a little more, u can get 1 with an attached bathroom elsewhere.

Booked the wrong type of hotel”
I booked the 75 Myr room didn't realize that it didn't come with attached bathroom. Had to upgrade to 160Myr family room, which is meant for 4 persons in order to have attached bathroom.

Good for 1 night stay”
If you are going to lembing for the rainbow waterfall and there isn't much need for a long stay I would suggest this place as beside it has a food court and this is where they pick up people for the rainbow waterfall trip. The bed however is not good and causes itchiness to me. Bathroom is shared bathroom. The good thing is after the rainbow waterfall you can request to have a bath before checking out. Really good. Consider checking in late and leaving early.
