A very nice resort”
We have stayed here many times in a bungalow that is good size and we enjoy the kitchenette as we prefer to eat in. The swimming pool is nice and it is usually empty. There are a few shops around within walking distance but no 7/11 close by. If you are looking for a quiet resort not far from the airport, then this is a great choice.

If you do not have car or motorbike may be too far to walk to the centre. Even far to street food. You can Grab motorbike for about 50bht. I paid 460 bht for one night but if you wish to stay longer probably you can pay much less.

Funny for 2 nights ”
Small single houses, like a little village/resort. Heavily decorated with recent artifacts. Nice that there is a kitchenette in the room. It’s just not comfortable enough for a long stay. It was a pleasure for us for 2 nights.

My wife booked this location.This hotel was not for me.Very simple style.No Wifi,no food,bar was not open,pool table closed.Bring your own toiletry items.The bed was very hard.Very little hot water.If you like the rugged country style maybe you will like it.It is named Country View.Parking is very tight if you drive a vehicle.Many ants in the bathroom.

Great value, great service”
The Country View resort is a little gem off the beaten path. There is no way one would find this place on his/her own. The resort is located in a residential development and the property houses small bungalows and each guest stays in his own bungalow. The bungalows are immaculate. There is a flat screen tv, a hot shower and a pretty comfortable bed, although a bit on the hard side. There are electrical outlets located throughout the room, which is very nice and makes charging your phone, while plugging in your computer very convenient. The bathroom has plenty of room to store one's grooming items and the water is hot with excellent pressure. The property has a restaurant by the reception area. The food is pretty good and the service is wonderful. The ladies who work at the resort speak very good English and they make your stay pleasant and convenient. Everything is easy. They offer taxi services, bike rentals, you name it, they've got it. The prices for the ancillary services are very reasonable. You don't feel as though you're being hosed just because they got you trapped. Quite the contrary, you feel you get a much better value than the price of the service. Given that the resort is located inside a development, there's nothing around other than houses. It's easy to get lost trying to find the main road and once you do, you may not be able to find your way back. The 7-11 that's on the development property was closed for renovations, so I had to find my way in the dark to get something to eat at 4am. However, once the 7-11 opens, this won't be an issue. I loved the place, I loved the service, I thought it was a fantastic value and I would stay there again. One caveat, since these are bungalows, they're only about 6 inches off the ground, which means that it's possible to find various forms of life which may accidentally stumble into your personal space. It's something to be aware of especially when taking a shower.

was welcomed with a warm greeting. arrived 9 in mornin but this was not an imposition to staff. nice pool very clean and tidy rooms. definitly value for your bhat. the food from the kitchen tastey and a good price. only downside was lack of kitchen utensils. will return on my next visit to udon thani

Very relaxing and friendly place to stay”
We found our stay to be very peaceful and relaxing in a very quiet area yet not far from the city centre. If you are looking for value for money this place has it as they have a very nice little pool area as well within the resort that you quite often have to yourself. The Resort owner, Fern and her partner really go out of their way to help you. Nothing is ever a bother to them. I was really surprised that they give you a free shuttle to and from the airport. Fern also offered to drive me all the way to the bus station. I didn't even have to ask. So if you are looking for a really friendly, value for money, quiet and relaxing place to stay in Udon, then look no further.

Relaxing holiday”
It is really nice and relaxing staying at this place, it feels like you're at home. I booked 3 nights only but we did enjoy so we extend 1 more night. My kids swim everyday even though the pool is small it was very clean everyday. We will book again in our next trip to Udon in this resort for sure.

good value , bit out of the way”
a real surprise , yes ia a bit out of the way , not because is far from udon it is actually right in udon close to university , but is tucked away up some side streetys and a bit of a walk to the main road , the surprise is that it looks like a country retreat , has cottages and great plants and trees , service was great , friendly and talk english , rooms are clean and have everything thats needed , but tv and cable is not good especiaslly for farang , excellent value

Perfect retreat near town”
We stayed here a few nights wanting to rest before continuing our travels onto Laos. Room was clean, good hot water/pressure and working tv and Wi-Fi. There's a pool table free to use and tables to hang out as you meet some of the other people staying at this resort. The hotel is surrounded by homes, but food can be found within 10 mins walk or you can use the free bicycles available at the hotel. The night market was a bit if a walk (maybe 40 mins?) But would be a short run run or bike ride for those who don't enjoy walking as much. Staff were simply amazing, friendly and always happy to help with a smile. The pool was ideal spot to relax and the resort's restaurant was great for those times we didn't feel like venturing out. The staff were also happy to help out with directions and calling for tuk tuks when we needed them. All in all, absolutely loved our stay and recommend this resort!

Beautiful hidden gem in the center of Udon”
Great little resort with a set of nice bungalows. Also providing a beautiful pool area. The style is simple but clean and quite and owner Fern takes care everything perfectly . My favorite are the many beautiful wall decorations that have need collected over the time. No walking distance to Central Plaza area but you get Tuk Tuks quickly organized and I always paid a fair price for TukTuk when they had been ordered by hotel. Fully recommended.

Great Resort”
Nice and quiet. Excellent staff that spoke English. Nice food. I stayed in a bungalow which was nice. It had a larger refridgerator and a cooktop and sink , small table and chairs so it would be good for long term stays. Has a small pool, restaurant and bar with pool table. This is a small resort but has small car park , great for a few cars but better for bikes. Its a little hard to find but is on google maps. Is a little distance from city but they can arrange transportation. I noticed another small restaurant within walking distance . Great value for money.

country village feel..peaceful and charming”
Booked a big room with kitchen..standard not too great and bathroom could be renovated, but again worth the price. Love the plants and fixtures, statures and art work that fills the place.Authentic feel. Breakfast is adequate and staff is friendly. Its a bit far from down town, but reception happy to call and book for tuktuk. Has a bar and pool table and good size swimming pool neither of which we used spending much of the time out and about...happy to book a gain.if ever in Udon..

The resort is a relaxing oasis”
A great single level resort, at a more than reasonable price and long term rates available. The grounds and rooms are ornately decorated with clay pots, murals and hand carved wood hangings. The grounds are also covered in a variety of trees, fruit and flowering bring in some of the native wildlife.

Good place to stsy”
I booked this hotel because of the high scoring previous reviews, I can say that these previous reviews were spot on. Although I only stayed two days I wish I had booked in for longer. Although it is tucked away in a residential area it was easy to find my way around and there are shops and restaurants nearby.
