“the hotel has a great location in Seef with sea views ( ask for room with sea view on high floor ) very nice big rooms that can benefit from a small dining table and chairs or a big couch. there is a bar on the first floor you can access by lift or the spiral staircase from the lobby. the smell of smoke from the bar (bar open from 12 noon till 4:30 am) fills the lobby. you can smell the smoke in the lobby. this does not give a good impression about the hotel. the massage on the 8th floor...Ahmmm....is only a cover-up for girls offering happy ending. the breakfast on the 27th floor is excellent. one of the best breakfasts in Bahrain and is a very good price. The room service is ok too we ordered chicken biryani and a club sandwich....biryani was really good. club sandwich was not the best I had. I still think it is a 4 stars hotel but there is room for improvement. the bathroom is big....bath tub and a separate big shower area.”

“The first room I was shown too was dirty and totally not prepared well - stains on the furniture and bedding. I was then moved to a better room. The breakfast is very very very basic compared to other hotels in Bahrain. The pool staff are considerate and caring which was good. There was a huge disappointment in the sea food restaurant - fish had been displayed since 10 am uncovered by ice and looked very shrivelled up and not fresh. Clams were also displayed and fully open and uncovered with ice. This was brought to the attention of F and B manager who admitted it was unacceptable. The hotel is nice and relaxing but the basics from Room service and attention to detail regarding food is well below par for a 4 star hotel”

“I enjoyed my stay. Prior to making my booking, I read plenty of reviews. Many complained about noise (head from the club (some socialize and make "connections" there) downstairs). My room was on the 11th floor. Although not overwhelming, there is some truth to the noise issue. I didn't have a problem sleeping. However, if you MUST have 100% peace and quite, please chose a floor 11 or higher. Although I ordered delivery (Tony Lukes (was extremely hot, fresh, and tasty)), I did order dessert from downstairs. It was amazing. I like it. Overall, I had a great stay. I cannot wait to go to Bahrain again. When I do, I will try to make my booking at the Al Murooj Hotel.”

“The villa was VERY nice, very chic modern, with posh furniture. Our villa was near the pool and had a nice view or the ocean and Dragon. Our villa had 3 rooms, so we had to choose one and the rest were locked, since we only booked for one room. The kitchen was small but cute. Laundry, good shower and bath. Our blow dryer didn't work and we did not have an iron. I suggest bring your own blow dryer and iron. Rest was close during Ramadan, so we cannot tell you about the food. The pool was nice, but a bit too cloudy for my taste and not enough lounge chairs. I would consider going back, but we noticed they are owned by dragon which has really nice villas as well. For what we paid, I can tell you we got more than what we expected in terms of size and comfort. Not much to do after that, besides the pool or go to Bahrain to eat dinner, etc.”

The food on offer at the restaurants was really nice & the staff in whole was really helpful & friendly. One point I would like to mention is that you should have plenty of money in change, have a Taxi App like UBER for getting around places as sometime the Taxi's try to wipe you out saying no change money. It's about 0.38 Bahrain Dinar's to a us$. never ask the hotel to book you a Taxi as they come, you get in and at final destination the taxi driver takes double or triple of the actual fare saying that the cab was ordered by the hotel and is un-metered. this is day-light robbery.”

“My husband and I stayed at the Sofitel for a romantic weekend. Although the hotel seems to cater more to families, we were still able to have an amazing time there. The best feature of the room was the balcony over-looking the pool (ask for a 4th floor room for an unobstructed view). The bed was the most comfortable I've slept in this year! The bathtub was a treat after a day on the beach. On Friday, it was busy, so get out early and stake out your deck chair. Everywhere we looked in this hotel was beautiful. The beach was a lovely place to sit or swim. We had brunch Friday morning, which was amazing from start to finish and we ate in the Tapas restaurant in the evening, which was delicious (try the tempura prawns!). The hotel is off the beaten path in Bahrain (16 BD for a hotel car to City Centre Mall), but it is exactly perfect if what you want is to relax, decompress and lounge.”

We were shocked at the moment and couldn't say a word, the other receptionist we were pointed to was already busy with another guest. So we instantly asked for the supervisor because the situation was intolerable. And there came Janice, which was the opposite of Fate. She changed our perspective for the hotel. “The hotel location is very good, in front of Dana Mall and cross the street you will find City Center Mall, also near to coffees shops and restaurants. The room was clean with nice view, the receptionist was very nice and professional I hope I got her name right (Anita), I came early to the hotel and she assist me for the early check in, even when I request the NO DISTURB CARD (it was not in the room) on the door she responded quickly. This is my second time staying in the hotel in one month and they still keeping the same good performance and ofcourse every time I will visit Bahrain I will book in Tulip Inn. the hotel has no bar or night club which is proper for the Conservative families. “This hotel offers great value for money compared to most other options in Bahrain. I got airport pickup and dropoff organized and whilst the room itself was abit on the basic side thats expected at this price. However the WIFI was pretty decent and nice speed and the AC worked well. Bathroom was a decent size also with bathtub and shower. The only negative was the bed was rock hard and had no spring or bounce to it. Overall it offers great value for money for those looking for a quick stopover in Bahrain.”

“2nd stay at hotel. We stay here because of the location, near to all the bars and restaurants that Adliya has to offer. We also like these fact that the hotel has a pool and rooftop terrace. On this occasion our room had 2 baths, one with shower over and one with a jacuzzi which unfortunately did not work. Both bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Towels are also bit tired looking but other than that everything good. Like having a fridge, toaster and kettle in the room. Did not swim in pool on this occasion as there was rubbish floating in kt and a chair in it. Have used it previously though.”

They remembered us and had our keys ready the moment we stepped in the door. My only complaint would be that we attempted to order hummus to our room twice. We never received any hummus, so that was a bummer. Excellent for the price; however, remember that this is one of the cheapest hotels in Bahrain so don't expect the extravagance of some of the upscale hotels in the area.”

The hotel receptionist Mr Madan was cooperative and welcoming and apologetic when he told us that unfortunately our double room apartment had Aircon problems and we were given options to stay in another branch hotel nearby in a single room or accommodate in same hotels single room. We choose the later with couple of mattresses as they promised to get us two bedroom apartment the next day. Once we moved to our original room all was good. Utilities (sucha as MW, Washing Machine etc.) were brand new. Bathroom and rooms were clean and the lounge was just huge. “On arrival at 10PM, Check in went well and on inquiring, what time the bar was open to was directed to the 15/16th floor and open till 2 AM. All good so far except they forgot to tell me that the bars were of adult theme and would be great if you want to watch women in swim wear try to belly dance, in the restaurant. The bar opposite is for escorts and carries a cover charge which they did not inform till after I had purchased a drink. Not for a quiet time. After arguments with staff took mater up with manager who did point me to the correct place for a quiet drink which is the ground floor with very friendly staff and the complete opposite of the upper floor bars/restaurant. The last impression was perhaps the worst communications error. The main lobby restaurant was under re-decor and breakfast was being served in your room. Only problem I was not informed till I went for breakfast and by then to late. So no breakfast.”

“After I read a lot of negative reviews on agoda and tripadvisor about this hotel, I was wondering wether to book it or not for my 2 night stay in Bahrain. I decided to have a go and risk it. Right from the start I arrived to this hotel, I couldn't believe those reviews were true. First, I was checked-in early (some 3 hours before official check-in time) and at no extra charge. Secondly, I got a huge room with queen bed and super comfortable matress. Excellent sleep I had both nights. Room was clean. Yes, the hotel shows its age and should be updated but some people are too picky. At the price I paid, I got more than I expected in a country where accommodation is normally expensive. Plus wifi connection was strong. Location is not the best it is walking distance to Fateh Mosque, and there are also many shops and restaurants nearby. Or you are a short taxi ride away from the business district. If you have a car, like I did, there is also a free hotel parking. Would stay here again.”

“The worst hotel I've ever been. Claim it's a 3 star hotel. I think it deserves only 1. Nightclub blaring music all night long. Bed is hard as a rock. The staff said it is a medicated bed but we woke up with bad back every morning. The minibar and drawers are dirty. Furnitures are old and not well kept. There are 4 floors in this hotel. Floor 2 to 4 have rock hard beds but minimal noise from the nghtclub below. 1st floor have normal beds but you have to endure the nightclub noises all night long. Your choice. Either way won't guarantee a good night sleep. Told the staff about the bed but I don't think they will be changing the beds anytime soon. The only good thing of this hotel is the unlimited device wifi, walking distance to Souq Bab Al-Bahrain and free airport transfer. We won't come back to this hotel ever, that's for sure.”

“The reason why I chose this hotel is because my friends lived nearby. But the location turned out to be very good. The hotel was a few blocks away from the American Alley where you can find cafes, restaurants and mini grocery stores. When you book a room in Pearl Bahrain you are actually booking an entire flat. My room came with it's own living room, kitchen and there were 2 bedrooms but one was kept locked because the booking I made was only made for one person. The flat or suite had it's refrigerator and microwave which is very nice for a long stay with friends of a big family. However, the beds were really uncomfortable. It was very hard. A friend of mine informed me that this is the norm if Bahrain because they have Orthopedic mattresses. I would suggest that travelers planning to book with Pearl Bahrain to bring their own toiletries (Shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush etc.) I would strongly suggest that they bring their own bath towels as well. Glancing at the menu during my stay I believe that the items were pricey. I suggest to walk to the YUM YUM Tree a few blocks away and order take out and grab a few cold drinks from the cold store instead of ordering in. It would be good to bring their own spoon, fork and microwaveable container to heat the food.”

“Leen was a helpful member of the stuff. The process to checkin went smoothly. I faced one problem which was one of the rooms of the apartment i booked should have two beds and instead of that, they gave me a different apartment that their two rooms have kings beds. Suman the valet guy was very helpful and professional. Same as Saeed as well. I would definitely consider it when I visit Bahrain again.”

“The hotel is near to Seef & Al Ali Malls (5 min. walk), near to City Center Mall (5 min. driving), parking is available, clean & well-furnished rooms, nice view especially from high floors, friendly staff. I would like to thank the receptionist, Miss Ikrame, who had made our vacation memorable and for her great service, she provides. Also, Miss Rania, who personally cared about a lost item from us until it was found by the housekeeping service. It is my favorite hotel in Bahrain.”

“Over-all my stay at Al Safir hotel is memorable and great. Though this hotel are few minutes away from City Center of Bahrain still I love this serenity of this hotel day and night. The comfort of the room is exceptional to me and I don't want to get out from my bed due to linens are really comfy. Ambience is good too though food is "ordinary" still there are other things that I agree to give a 2-thumbs up to this hotel. Other fastfood restauratns are available nearby due to it's proximity to the US/American base. There's an Italian restaurant right at the footsteps of the hotel, Cucina Italiana Bahrain and Bennigans, good food and good ambience.”

Furthermore the parking area is available because of an empty land in front of the hotel To be fair, I didn't try the restaurant in the hotel so I can evaluate it.”

Close to one of the best restaurants in Bahrain IMHO Mohammed Noor. Exhibition street is full of shops and bits and pieces. Warblers pub is great too. If you have any problems the star are willing to help and always seem friendly. The manager is brilliant. This hotel is jumping up the list of hotels to stay at in Bahrain and you can see why”

“I will start from GM of the hotel, amazing guy, knows his job, keeps his guests prioritized all the time. Front desk generally helpful, only one guy gave me a hard time giving me my room because I arrived too early but still got it before check in time. Bar and restaurants are good. If you are Indian or Pakistani and like live music, visit Its Mirchi their Indian restaurant. Loved the singers and atmosphere and regretted why I didn't go there before. Coffee shop is amazing and specially the location of hotel. Everything is within walking distance. Costa, Starbucks, Pizza Company, mc Donalds, Hardees, tons of atms, spa and saloon, shopping squares etc. it's located in the heart of a travelers' dream. A must visit place, not as posh as 4 seasons but a good reasonably priced hotel with amazing helpful staff. If you are visiting alone, with partner or friends this is fun place. If visiting with family try Dubai instead of Bahrain. Would love to stay here again any day. ❤️”

“I booked two rooms, they gave me one in the very left side and the other on the very right side, thats OK, but the one on the right side (where you are facing the elevator) was not able to connect to the wifi as strong as the left room, the flat was clean, but it need more attention to the metal parts inside the bathrooms as it has green sediments or residue, the bed mattress are not comfortable, but we were tired enough during the day to care about it because we fall asleep the breakfast was the minimum standard, again we didn't bother much as we start the day very early, my kids wanted to enjoy the pool and that was the best of it the location is very close to the airport, although TAXI are expensive in Bahrain but it is easy to reach by phone or android Bahrain Taxi App, it took 6 BHD to reach the hotel and 7 BHD to reach the airport staff are very helpful, any thing you ask will manage it for you, they really do good job with my family requests”

“I booked and in my booking I requested early check in,,,and a quite room. I got exactly what I asked for....I asked for two extra towels, a bath robe, extra tea bags and coffee and slippers and I got that too. staff are friendly and professional. good security which is good to have…however it would be better if hotel guests do not hear the walkie talki which is loud. The hotel has a nice private swimming pool unlike some hotels where everyone can look onto the pool. It has excellent facilities. What I really like is the location next to Juffair mall. Access to Juffair mall is from ground floor and not 4th floor unless you want to walk through a restaurant on the 4th floor. Parking was not an issue since the hotel provides valet parking. Hotel is suitable for families and single guests. I would recommend the high floors for families since it is quitter. I do not hesitate to recommend this hotel to families and friends. I will book in the hotel again soon.”

“Booked the apartment based on the photographs as it looked like a nice place. Room looks nothing like the pictures used to advertise it. Balcony in the pictures looked big and clean but was nothing like the pictures and could barely fit one person. Seems they have used their best room for photographs to advertise their basic rooms. Advertised that all rooms had hair dryers. Non in the room (not a big deal) but when my girlfriend called to ask for one they told her they only had one or two and would bring it up soon. After half an hour when I called back they said they where too busy to get it for us and hung up! No water in the room as the advert stated there would be. Called about getting some sent up and it took 3 hours for somebody to ride the elevator up to the room and give it to us. In all honesty the room wasn’t bad, but the service and attitude of the reception was lazy and uninterested. First time staying here and I know there are better apartments for the price”

“This was my first visit to bahrain. The journey from the airport to the hotel was an enlightening trip, from the new part of bahrain to the old part of town. On entering the street whervthe hotel is located it is evident that the hotel is an older clasical type of building. On entering the hotel reception, you are greeted by very friendly and efficient reception staff, who provide an excellent checking in service. Service with a smile should be the hotel slogan, as I was certainly greeted with a smile. The Hotel room was spacious, with a rich but homely appearance. All service found in a modern hotel room were provided in this quaint hotel. I will be returning to this hotel on my return to bahrain”
