Find Hotels in Bangladesh

1. Location : Situated at Dhaka City Centre but its actually quite far from the main attraction like Lalbagh Fort, Dhaka New Markert, Ahsan Manzil, Parliament Building and Bashundhara City Mall (in radius 5km). You have to take trishaw to the main attraction (not really in walking distance). From Dhaka Airport can take intercity train to Kamalapur Station (about 2km from this hotel) and the fare is only 20 taka for 45 minutes journey. Uber/taxi comfortable but due to heavy traffic jam, better to take inter city train. 2. Food : A lot of halal restaurant/street food around the hotel. Same breakfast everyday - paratha/omelet/vegetable. No other option at all. 3. Shopping : No any groceries shop around the hotel. The nearest is at stadium (about 500m from hotel). The nearest shopping area is night market around Baitul Muqarram Mosque and stadium. If you wanted to buy souvenir, the best place is in front of Dhaka University. The only place selling fridge magnet in Dhaka. Other souvenirs can buy at Dhaka New Market. 4. Facilities : Internet just so-so. Only small towel and soap provided. No mineral water, iron or water heater provided. They only clean the room only if you request (from 9am to 9pm). Room telephone not function. 5. Staff : So this was the incident. We were booking for Deluxe Room but the receptionist told us all the Deluxe Room was full! He push us to pay extra RM 200 to upgrade to VIP Room since term of payment is "Pay At Hotel" and we have not pay yet. we can't cancel the booking because Agoda will automatically charge the credit card if we didnt show up. So, there u go. Adding more cost for unworth room eventhough we realize there is not many customers at the hotel. No point arguing. 6. Value for money : Not Worth for the price. Disappointing.

I am very pleased to express my fully excellent appreciation for all the so kind services when I have been hosted by Nagar Valley Hotel. With any hesitation, I will recommend it to other overall colleagues and specially those from my technical group to attend it as soon as they will be in Dhaka. The best thing about this hotel is cleanliness and everyone's behavior. From reception to restaurant staffs every one is so welcoming and eager to help. The food was good. Only thing bothered my is the room size. I was travelling solo so I opted for a single bed room ( which could be shard by two person easily). I would suggest everyone to go for double room which is much bigger in size. Will definitely stay next time.

The first thing I didn't like after arriving the hotel they were trying to allot me a triple bed room, though I had booked a quadruple room with Agoda. On my denial to take that room they give us a quadruple room. Setting our stuffs in the room we discovered the shower system of bathroom was out of order. They took more than one hour to fix it up, but being failed they shifted us to another room. Getting fresh we went out for dinner. Returning from there we discovered our door lock was not working. Being informed they came and replaced the lock. We were very tired because of a long 12 hours' drive and really upset with this mismanagement. They hotel staff were cooperative but the management is not keen to maintain the quality, I think. Maintenance is poor.

this hotel is wonderful, like an oasis. the room very clean, and bathroom large and with tub big enough for two people. personal touches, like home. i was impressed by the nice cotton spreads on the large bed, that were changed every day, not like some hotels even 4/5 star that use the same ug spread for who knows how many guests. it was like being in your own bedroom, ac and ceiling fan and the generator so always electricity. wifi worked well. complimentery breakfast very good with eggs made to order. large table setting like good restaurant with nice china and cloth napkins. i would suggest that a menu for the lunch and dinner be posted every day, so guests would know whether they want to pay for a meal at the hotel. thomas, the manager, extremely helpful as were all the staff. dianne philippines

It was really a pleasant stay for me in this nice hotel for three nights along with my family members. The rooms are spacious, neat and clean and the panorama from the windows of the apartment is truly excellent as it is situated on 10th floor of the building. The stuffs are very cooperative, friendly and amicable in behaviour. The reception guys are very helpful,smiling and supportive minded. They have provided us with amazing services. The only thing they need to improve is their breakfast, the area of the breakfast room is too small. The item is limited, so they should add some more items as bread, butter, jam jelly, fruit juice etc.

I really enjoyed my stay at hotel 71.Dhaka is a very congested and chaotic city, so this hotel became my reprieve from the hustle and bustle outside. The staff at this hotel try very hard to make your stay pleasant, all staff members from reception staff to restaurant staff to the security outside are all very welcoming. The rooms represent good value for money when you consider how much you are paying, my room was spotlessly clean and came equipped with satellite tv, fridge ect. The buffet breakfast is good and the restaurant is also a good option for an evening meal. The location was good for me to visit all the sights I wanted to see, the hotel staff came out and helped me when I had a communication problem with the rickshaw drivers, they told the driver where I wanted to go and told me how much to pay, this really helps when you are a first time visitor in Bangladesh. So overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dhaka.

There are many mid - range hotels in Cox's Bazaar, but the White Orchid is far better than others for the same price. Cleanliness, staff, and breakfast are MUCH better than you will find at similar hotels. Just make sure of the room price. They put me in a premere room without my realizing and I paid a higher price. Still much better than the drab, dirty alternative hotels in Cox's.

We chose queen suite for us and it was quite spacious for two adults and our 3 sons (7+5+1.5). In my opinion some Thai and Chinese food items were really delicious specially mixed masala fried rice, special Thai soup and fried chicken. A swimming pool was available there and water quality was good. But it had no heating facility, so the water felt really cold even at 10:30 in the morning. However, My kids enjoyed the swimming pool and it was one of the reasons for choosing this hotel. Welcome fruit basket and complimentary breakfast were really nice. I thank AGODA for providing a very competitive and special price. One may try this hotel in Sylhet, Bangladesh. Hopefully, one won’t be disappointed for selecting this hotel.

So, I had received an email from the hotel asking me when I would arrive at the airport so they could pick me up, but I couldn't find the driver and ended up walking over the footbridge to cross the main road and then getting a rickshaw (which the hotel paid for). The owner was extremely helpful with the other things I had to do - provided a car to take me back to the airport the next morning to book my onward flight, found out how to get a sim card (which you have to do in the airport) and then arranged the car again to take me back to the airport for my flight. Definitely worth staying here for the convenience of being near the airport.

Long beach hotel almost after 3 years, rooms and services are as usual. Hotel still have some of the old employees and made my stay feel like home away from home. Got the room for a winter cleansing by the beach. Breakfast buffet with good variety of breakfast dishes, desserts and refreshments. Have kebabs and bbq, and good lunch-dinner menu choices. Nice swimming pool area with separate pool for adults and kids. Gym equipments: treadmills, cycling, cross trainer with a rack of barbells, not an equipped gym. 5 nights @ US$335 was a relaxing rate, complimentary airport drop n pick up. Oh!!! Pls do clarify at the time of check in if there’s any surplus charges for using the sauna/steam facilities. Recommend poolside/beach veiw rooms got better veiw. Very polite and happy faces of the hotel would definitely make your stay much comfortable. Cheers

I really really enjoyed my stay at Richmond hotel. The staff there are very friendly and their service is flexible (I fell sick on my last day, they let me stay in the room for 6 more hours without charging me; They also helped a lot with the bus ticket booking, thanks!) The room is very spacious and clean, shower is good. Downstairs there is a George's cafe, the food there is very decent, they have the best red velvet cupcake I have ever tasted! Anyway, I will highly recommend people stay in Richmond, you won't regret it!

As this was my first time to Bangladesh, I made arrangements to be picked up from the airport and the guest house owner Chisty was where he said he be, exactly when he said he would be there. He insured each of my needs were met including a very favorable currency exchange rate, securing a sim card for me, and being extremely flexible with my prepaid room when my plans changed due to boat schedules. I would highly recommend this guest house to anyone first entering Dhaka, leaving Dhaka for your last few days or if you find yourself in Dhaka in the middle of your itinerary. You will be well taken care of!

I have been to over 30 countries...stayed at many many hotels. This was my first time I met a manager came to my room and asked me how satisfied during the check-in procedures. The best was once I mentioned I am not that willing to go out for dinner due to it's already dark outside, he even spent time accompanying with me. We had a very nice talk on the way to the supermarket. He realized I am from a very well educated country called Taiwan. I realized he joined this tourism industry since 1998. I have to say do to my job is a reporter, my stay in Bangladesh was so stressful cause all that scenery I have seen was so.........bad...this country makes me so stressful....but I was so pleasure to meet such a nice manager at the end of my trip. He finally gave me a very good impression of Bangladesh.

This is a small hotel with rather small rooms. Not a very good experience. AC very noisy and electricity safety is lacking. I stayed there for four days and had rather good service from the staff. They helped arrange transport around the city and also to the airport. The last car arranged by them was very old though. Breakfast was very limited but that is quite normal in Bangladesh.
