We had a great stay here. The beach club is amazing - I went every day and didn't encounter any of the problems I read about in previous reviews regarding sea lice. I was always able to find a chair in the shade and we had a lot of fun with the paddleboards and the over-water hammocks! The resort food is expensive - the taco shack was closed for the Easter holiday so our options were limited. We also found that some of the shacks were very expensive as well. Cheaper food is available in the town - a 40 minute walk, 15 minute bike ride, or $20 BZD away. The location (away from the center of town) is important to keep in mind when booking this resort. The resort has a great gym and amazing wifi everywhere.

My fiancé and I stayed 4 nights and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we booked Greg and Ellis reached out through email to offer any assistance with upcoming trip including activities and tours we would be doing in other parts of country. I literally was in contact with them for months. They helped with any questions we had. Upon arrival we were greeted personally with awaiting transportation to property. It was like staying with friends. Great location about 2 minute walk to water and just about center of activity. The rooms were perfect. Clean. Comfortable. Cool. Breakfasts every morning over looking ocean. Food was delicious. Served by Greg and Ellis. Any tours or activities were set up by Greg with the BEST local tour guides. Every need was taken care of. Including daily and nightly recommendations for food and entertainment. We cannot say enough about this place and our time in Caye Caulker. We would never even consider staying anywhere else when we return someday. Save yourself some stress over where to stay. You will love Yocamatsu.

I had fantasies about having the luxury jungle lodge experience in Belize and thought I couldn't afford it. But Vanilla Hills delivered! Simple luxury, fine dining (plus a well-equipped kitchen), impeccable service, gorgeous location. Claudia, Franklin, and team met all of our needs in booking tours and provided helpful advice for San Ignacio. We loved having proximity to town (just a 10 minute ride by taxi/collectivo) and not feeling "stuck" like you might at some of the more remote lodges. Bullet Tree Falls is also just a short walk away and we enjoyed hanging out in the crystal-clear river there. Though there's a lot to do in the area, be sure to leave room in the schedule to relax on your porch!

Benito and the team were so helpful and catered for all of our needs! The cottages are clean and spacious and the facilities (golf carts, pool, canoes etc) and service at the resort was impeccable. Although there is no restaurant on site, the local restaurants and bars 5 mins walk away were amazing, especially Aji tapas bar. We loved our stay and would return in a heartbeat!

Overall, super great experience. We loved our single room with our own bathroom- for being an actual hostel facility, it was super super nice. Only complaint, compared to other travels, it was not as inexpensive as I would have preferred. Locations is perfect (right in from of the Palapa bar) and I felt very safe to leave my things there. They even let us have late check out sine we booked a snorkel trip through them that ended later in the afternoon. Loved our stay here overall!

The staff at Sunbreeze Suites promptly answered questions in the months leading up to my stay. They also updated me about Hurricane Earl, which passed through the week before my scheduled stay. I was provided with an invoice/outstanding balance summary until my balance was paid in full. I was never asked to pay a cent more. It was optional to open a hold on my account once I arrived - I chose not to and was not asked again. This was refreshing. Maid service was excellent; we chose not to have our room cleaned while we were there but our maid accommodated our requests for clean towels, etc. The front desk staff was the best; they helped us rent a golf cart and book our flights through Mayan Air - at a discounted rate. I loved the central location, walking distance to convenience/grocery stores, restaurants, etc. This hotel also happens to be located right next to the pier where many excursions leave from. I would stay here again and again.

We only stayed one night, but Nature Resort is a very nice place to stay, sorrounded by nature and with the howler monkeys a short walk away. It is very clean, the staff is really good and the meals are very good and at a reasonable price. WiFi is poor and sometimes doesn't work at all. There are available local tours to see the crocodiles at night and also, day walks. Airport is a halh an hour away and their transport prices are cheaper than other shuttles

Amazing location, clean room, cute hotel, Shakira at the reception is a true GEM! We lost a lot of time at the beginning due to a discrepancy between the information provided by agoda/booking to me (double room) and to the hotel (bunk bed room) - in the end, after a long back and forth we were upgraded to a double room with ac since there were only bunk bed rooms available otherwise. Yet this was done by "personally paying for us" according to the assistant manager. Needless to say that the outcome was great and we truly had a good night but the process was not. So one piece of advice if you are a couple or otherwise prefer double rooms: make sure it is a double room! :)

Hotel was clean, great value on San Pedro. The owner was very helpful and gave us a lift to the water taxi on the day that we left. Pool is *tiny* (max occupancy 6), but refreshing. Sunset from the rooftop was breathtaking. The budget room was small, but enough for two people who like each other. I also appreciated that it was the only hotel we stayed at on our visit to Belize that provided shampoo (I forgot mine).

This place is 10 minutes walking distance from the ferry port to a quite side of the island. Don't get mixed up with a BareFoot Hotel. Its a basic accommodation , room is very small and no wardrobe to hang your clothes or no much space to place your luggage , but it was fine for somewhere to sleep over 2 nights .Bathroom was again small but clean , aircon was working fine and wi-fi signal was good . Were were out all day so It was ok. Staff was welcoming and friendly and let us use bicycles for free during our stay . Which was a very nice touch as we manage to explored this beautiful island much quicker .

This is a family-owned, no-frills hotel that is very economically priced and is in the center of Danriga. The view from the roof and third floor balcony is nice. The owners, Chad & Eleanor, are very friendly and try their best to make you feel comfortable both in the hotel and the Stann Creek area. A lot of foreigners stay here and they serve free coffee at breakfast time.

I chose this hotel because it was very close to Chuck and Robbie's dive shop on Ambergris Caye, Belize. The hotel was no more than a one minute walk and could be done barefoot on the sand. A very light breakfast, fruit and a varying additional item (sopapillas, waffles, French toast), were served from 7-10 AM. No other meals were served, but the hotel was close to many beach restaurants. On the negative side, the nightly rate was $129 on Agoda, but an extra 10% room tax was added to this rate. The booked Agoda rate did not reflect this. Also, for Belize, the room was on the pricey side. If you are interested in SCUBA diving, you can decide if the extra price is worth the added convenience of being close to the dive shop.

The hotel is located 5 min walk from the water express taxi terminal, which after a long day of travel via plane and boat to the island was much appreciated. The staff were all extremely friendly nd helpful. Roda remembered our names from day one and made us feel very comfortable and at home. There’s a dive shop 2 mins away and many restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay there again

It was a strange place, hard to find and the set up was strange. We were only here for one night and it was far enough outside of the centre of the city that it felt safe. Belize city is not the safest of places so it was good to not have to worry about the car etc. The staff was helpful and they offer dinners you can purchase onsite with a set menu as there is nothing in walking distance to here.

The hotel is located a little bit outside of San Ignacio, but it is very easy to flag down a taxi from the road or maybe even walk to town if you want. The room itself was small but clean and very comfortable with working air conditioning. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help or offer assistance if they could. Overall, I really enjoyed staying here and will definitely return in the future.

My husband and I stayed here for the last part of our trip in Belize. It was the perfect set up for our honeymoon. Our room was secluded and had a private pool and jacuzzi on the balcony. When we were ready to be social, we went down to their outdoor lobby and played chess on an extra large hand carved chess board while sipping on lemon grass tea and then went and enjoyed ourselves in their large pool. Their breakfast and dinner were amazing, too! Some of the yummiest food we had in Belize. We were sad to leave and actually tried to extend our stay for another day, but sadly they were completely booked.
