Find Hotels in Guyana

I booked this hotel off the web-site purely by chance, didn't know it, never heard of it. But what a pleasant surprise. This is an old Victorian wooden lodge which oozes history, apparently many famous people have stayed here, including President Carter, and I think it does it justice. It is very charming and has a very relaxing feel to it. The food was very good and affordable. Will definately come again.

I had a very good stay at the Herdmanston. It is a new building with spacious rooms. The wifi was adequate for Georgetown. This was extremely clean. There were a few things that could make it better... include breakfast for this price and make sure menu options are available. There were also times when the water pressure and especially the hot water was inconsistent. These were not major issues, but something for a good place to improve on for the price paid. I do recommend the hotel. For birders the garden was great, and it is a short walk to the bird sanctuary in town where we saw many species of birds. Overall a good stay.
