“We are frugal traveler, so we typically do not stay in fancy, luxurious resort and/or hotel. But, we have stayed at a handful over the years in different countries - US, Indonesia (Bali and others), and Australia. I have to say that AYANA resort is BY FAR THE BEST one we've stayed at. It was also the priciest. We booked a room for around AU$250 for 1 night only, but since we had 2 kids with us we had to pay an extra US $100 + 21% (service and tax). But... It was WORTH EVERY PENNY! We're already planning to go back there again for at least 2 nights.”

“Ayana should be the benchmark of true 5 star hotel. The staffs are the best you can find, they are attentive and extremely helpfull. We had a sunset dinner in the Kisik restaurant (much better than the Rock bar) and my partner said, it's the best dinner he ever had: the view is fantastic (book ahead to get the best table), the seafood is fresh and seasoned to perfection, in addition, the price is not extremely expensive. The room, we were lucky to get an upgrade, so we had the Club Suite, it was furnished beautifully, we also get an access to the Club suite and our own reception desk. What can we say, the best 2 days in our life. We went to Rimba as well, since they are in the same compund. Even if the view is amazing from the rooftop and there are more swimming pool, but the service is so far behind Ayana. Keep up the good work Ayana. We will be back again in the future!”

“"wow" is the word came from the moment i saw this place. Hidden in the narrow alley, this hotel offer you a luxury stay and great facilities. I booked the suite room and then had updraded to the cottage. It was an impressive 2-floors-cottage. They had a spacious living room and kitchen at first floor and two great bed rooms at the second floor. Each bed room had a modern bathroom with big bathtub and high-tech toilet. Breakfast was superb with local and internationals varieties. Hotel has different entertainments for each night such as movie night and etc. They also had two pools, pub and spa. I tried the spa and they are perfect for a tired body after a long day exploring Bali. The hotel's staff is very helpfull, you can ask them for airport transfer or taxi, if you need it. Beach and the famous Seminyak street is only walk-distance from the hotel. You should also try the Wendy's gelato, they only 5 minutes walk-distance from the hotel. Overall, this is one of my best stay experience in Bali and I really recommended it for everyone who are looking for a relaxing and luxury hotel in the strategic location.”

Hard Rock Hotel Bali

“We had previously stayed at Hard Rock hotel Singapore last year - which was our first Hard Rock experience and in our opinion a so-so hotel - so we had moderate expectations before arriving. Well actually we were wrong. The hotel was actually way beyond our expectations. The things that we liked: The atmosphere. The hotel has this one central theme, which is to make you feel like you're a rock star. I think they succeeded on this, there is a continuation of the theme in all parts of the hotel, you can even borrow (or rent?) a fender guitar to play in your room. The staff was also very friendly. The attention to detail. - Hard Rock bali is not a new hotel, I've been to Bali a lot of times, and it's been there as far as I can remember. However, the premises are very well maintained, I even tried searching for broken stuff on the room, finding only the board under the bed is a little old. - WiFi does not require password. This. - No vouchers whatsoever required for breakfast. These little things really made you feel like a spoiled rock star. The pool. The pool is very nice, the kids spent one full day playing in it. The things that we'd like to be improved: The food. The morning buffet was standard. It wasn't bad, but not special too. The dinner buffet could also be improved. The night live music. The music from the cafe is loud and goes on until 1AM. From our room we could feel the bass kicking, especially when we turned everything off to sleep. But hey, it is called Hard Rock hotel right?”

“Booked hotel through agoda. Hotel emailed agoda asking our time of arrival. I replied hotel directly and hotel replied instantly. Hotel transfer was punctual with Great comfortable car. 15 mins drive to hotel from BBT port. Upon arrival, was treated with friendly security and receptionist serving cold Apple tea and wet towels. Plus point, receptionist was able to speak good English. Check in was very fast and efficient. She asked for our ferry return booking confirmation. We have no idea why. There is a mini mart right Infront of lobby. Very smart. We were able to stock up. Villa was so clean and awesome pool. TV with many cable channels HBO to FOX to sports. They have shuttle services to nearest mall Plaza Lagoi. In our case, they drove us personally to the mall. Awesome!. And they fetched us back from mall on time. We were told that due to off peak season, there won't be any buffet breakfast nevertheless they told us they would send the menu to our room to choose. Within seconds, the menu came and was told we could order anything or even Everything on the menu. The best part, it could be serve at 10.30am so we don't have to wake up that early. Our check out time was extended for us to 1.30pm instead of 12 noon. Upon checking out, receptionist handed us our ferry boarding passes. Least that we know, they had done all the tedious work at the ferry before hand with the ferry return booking slip that I handed to her upon check in. We just had to board our ferry. Fantastic service! And will recommend everyone to have their short getaway at this villa!”

Called the hotel a day before and asked for neighbouring rooms and they did their best and gave 2 rooms very close. Friendly staff, responded to our requests. Booked hotel with breakfast, is an excellent choice. Nice variety of breakfast and tasty food as well; omelet counter was the best of all! Great location, walkable to nearby shops and a Minimart is very next to the hotel. Pleasant stay and would love to come back again. They offer shuttle bus service and it was very convenience to get to the Ubud centre. They also have free afternoon tea from 2-5pm! “Checking into the Seminyak was one of the best decisions my fiance and I made during our stay in Bali. Even though it was a bit pricey it was worth every penny. It is definitely a 5 star hotel and lived up to all of our expectations. This hotel could write the definition on cleanliness as our room and every part that we saw of the hotel and ground was spotless! The staff were so gracious and did everything that they could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The breakfast spread was amazing complete with freshly cooked banana pancakes. The pool area, complete with sun lounges and direct access to the beach was a perfect place to escape and relax. The hotel has their own life guard as well so you feel extra confident going for a dip in the ocean. The room was beautiful with a comfortable king size bed, spa overlooking the sea and was the largest hotel room we have ever stayed in. We will definitely be going back to stay at The Seminyak again.”

“Yes there are a lot of improvements since my last visit to this hotel 2 years ago. Fast check in and out. But still find problems during breakfast. The staff cant manage the queues, well that’s always the problem with alot of hotel in Indonesia. They basically cant manage the queues, such a shame for 4/5 stars hotel! I gave the 2 star for the staff at the restaurant during breakfast only! Be a professional, dont judge people by the skin color, dress they were wear! Such a shame!”

“We spent two nights at the tea garden resort in Lembang, a short drive away from Bandung. For the last night of my long weekend I wanted to have nice comfortable and civilised night at the Padma, which I consider one of the best hotels in Indonesia. I have been staying there since 2001, at least a couple of times a year, and with each renovation the hotel seems to get better. I like the grounds, which have a small zoo of rabbits, goats, geese and some other creatures. Next time I want to bring my 2.5 year old girl to see this. My visitor from Thailand staying at the same hotel and she appreciated the good food. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was great each time, and the price was very reasonable. All in all a great finish for a restful weekend”

“You'll never be wrong with the facilities and beauty of the hotel. Sad side with this hotel is you wil not enjoy the beach as it is for water sport only. We booked this hotel thinking the white sand beach will be enjoyed but, we we're confined with the 2- huge swimming pools. Well anyways, we really enjoyed the pools accessible directly on our rooms. take note pool is 24hours open, with a bar in the middle. We even gave up our 3rd hotel and extended our stay in Anumana. Breakfast you will enjoy well. It is difficult to find western or other asian food in Indonesia but you'll get a great breakfast here. over-all aside from Mosquitoes who will literally eat you by 6pm at the beach front, nothing goes wrong with the hotel. Really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely go back.”

“Our stay at the hotel was very enjoyable, the room was very comfortable and the staff helpful and efficient. Breakfast was included with the room and was exellent, both in variety and quality. Hotel area is very large and although it was almost full, we had no problems finding available chairs close to the pool. The hotel also arranged some unscheduled events while we were there, like a cocktail party in the lobby area where drinks and snacks were free for guests. We did however experience two things of annoyance. While the hotel had free wireless internet with good quality, reception in our room was very poor with the result that to use wireless internet, we had to sit on the balcony. While this solution was acceptable and the hotel provided free power extention cables, it was less than perfect. The other annoyance was that, although the hotel did have a transport service to and from the airport, this was not a free service, something I have become used to from other hotels of similar quality in Indonesia. The transport for two people was also pricy, double the price of a normal taxi fare.”

(when i did my booking, i requested a best view because my husband and i love nature and mentioned that it was my first oversea birthday treat). the management, without fail, made our wish came true and made our stay unforgettable. and i would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to kamandalu resort and spa's management and all staffs for their warm hospitality ! excellent staff and services !!! and not forgetting our sincere thanks to the chef who specially prepared the grilled mushroom with cheese and bacon toppings for my breakfast on my last day. well done kamandalu !!! “Both my girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay here at TS Suites over Christmas. We even tried room service on two occasions, which by our surprise, was the best Nasi Goreng during our stay in Bali! breakfast buffet in the morning was good - we particularly enjoyed their omelette and banana and strawberry pancakes made-to-order by their chef. There was also oriental selection at the breakfast such as congee, which was much needed for my girlfriend who happened to have diarrhea on the last day. Although customer service was excellent (as with all Balinese people, they are all so friendly!), there was an episode of miscommunication over charges of phone call which I think was due to language barrier. As a tip, always clarify if you are uncertain! We also found confidentiality was a problem in foreign countries like Indonesia. On the back of a scrap paper we were given, it was a scanned passport page of a fellow traveller. I was completely furious and took this to counter. They explained these are all scanned data and would delete it after our stay. But how could I verify this? If the management team can look into this area and improve this, I would then consider returning to TS Suites. Overall it was a pleasant stay, a hotel that is centrally located in Seminyak.”

“I have been looking forward to my first child free trip in eight years. This was the pick for three friends and I to meet and relax. Easy to find (if you ignore Google Maps and don't listen to Siri). Very welcoming staff and the rooms were huge. Two king single beds with clean linen, just warm enough for the aircon rooms. Breakfast was included every morning and while not the best food you can get, it was plentiful, fresh, cooked well and certainly did the job and we never went without. Staff were also happy to cater when we brought our own bubbly for breakfast (don't judge - it was my birthday and a champagne breakfast was in order!) The location - that is the main factor of this hotel. Right next to the beach and also right where the beanbag bars are, it made getting to sunset beach drinks a breeze. The pool is big and warm, with varying levels so swim and lay in, along with a swim up bar. We never had too much trouble getting sun beds and while half our group moved to follow the sun, a huge tree between the pool and the beach gave sensational shade, as did the pool side umbrellas. It is definitely a 3 star hotel in the grand scheme of hotels but it is a top notch 3 stars and a fantastic, big, quiet hotel, perfect for relaxing and using as a base to get around Seminyak and other areas. Snacks are available all day - the mixed satay was delicious. The hotel also left me a complementary birthday cake in my room, which was both very thoughtful AND delicious!! All in all, I will definitely be returning.”

“The resort was absolutely beautiful! Amazing design around a huge lagoon pool with heaps f tropical plants. We had the pool access room and highly recommend it. The room itself was fantastically designed, with an open concept bathroom (that can also be private), great flatscreen tv with plenty of channels, great amenities (shampoos and body wash etc were good quality), and of course a wonderful view of the lagoon itself. I highly recommend club millesime. We had breakfast there twice of our four mornings, as its nice and quiet when you feel like avoiding the hustle and bustle of the main buffet. They have a high tea 3pm-5pm and tapas 5:50-7:30pm. We actually never went out for dinner because the tapas filled us up enough. They also have a cocktail each night and plenty of wine for free during tapas. All day you can order whatever drinks you like including soft drinks, ice teas, coffee, tea, fresh juices and smoothies. This saved us a lot of money as the prices throughout the hotel are actually really quite expensive (approx. $6 AUD for a coke. The pool table in the club was also great, and although we never used it there is a private pool for club members too. Finally I want to complement the staff who were so welcoming and friendly. The club staff were particularly amazing, as they were so attentive and you never had an empty drink, same as the CCC staff. The lobby staff are great too. My one recommendation to Sofitel is to provide an activities list for the upcoming week to all visitors. They had aqua aerobics and pool volleyball which was heaps of fun, but easy to miss if you weren't at the right place at the right time. Also adding yoga sessions on the beach in the morning would be great, or getting some kayaks? Overall an amazing resort!!!! I've been to quite a few five star resorts and this definitely tops them- I'm already looking to book another stay with them!!!”

“Spent our honeymoon and wife's birthday at Anantara Uluwatu. Greeted with a splendid ocean view from the lobby. The staff were extremely helpful, best service we have gotten in our stays anywhere. The rooms were extremely spacious and clean. The bathroom was amazingly spacious too! The outdoor jacuzzi was a great place to the sounds of waves crashing at night. This hotel has one of the best sunset views in Bali, given the location just at the top of a cliff. The sunset view can be seen from the hotel rooms, restaurant above or at the infinity pool. If you stay at this hotel, GO FOR THE SPA! You will not regret the amount of money you spent on the SPA. The Balinese massages are rhythmic & amazing! The ambiance of the place makes it hard not to relax and fall asleep. The only bad point of this resort is that it is located rather far away from the city. One will need a driver to get anywhere out of the resort. Then again, the serenity of the place can only be available at such deserted part of Bali.”

Also, the hotel allows grab Drivers to pick u up, so no problems trying to rearrange driver to meet somewhere else and your bike/car can just wait for you at the lobby, perfect. Pool is clean, staff are very polite and also experienced. I was so comfortable that I extended the stay. Location is not in the main Kuta but no worries, order a grabbike and you can travel anywhere in a short time! Bike rides to Seminyak and Kuta range from USD1 or less! Super cheap. Overall not the best hotel but good enough for me to come back and have a good rest. I would totally come back again. Also, the hotel receives bus loads of Indian guests, but it didn’t bother me. The gentleman at the service desk was AMAZING...he reassured me and said dont worry i can see your paperwork, we will get you your room. Our room was booked but he managed to get us into the two bedroom private ocean view villa instead of our one bedroom, so i got my dream! We received a phone call in our room from another person, who accused us of lying about the room. We saw the man at the front desk who apologized and assured us there was a miscommunication and they are working it out with Agoda. After that misshap, and because of the lovely man at reception, we had a WONDERFUL stay. The view was breathtaking, the villa was the best ive experienced. Even if the view is amazing from the rooftop and there are more swimming pool, but the service is so far behind Ayana. Keep up the good work Ayana. We will be back again in the future!”

Room was nice and clean, view is spectacular (felt like living in the jungle to be honest and we loved it), staff were extremely friendly and helpful with a big smile on their face all the time. They offer shuttle bus service and it was very convenience to get to the Ubud centre. They also have free afternoon tea from 2-5pm! Breakfast was delicious, the food was fresh with a lot of variety, both Western and Indonesia food. The down side is that my boyfriend had dinner at their restaurant and he said it tasted horrible.

My room of 7108 is nice and was well taken care. The food served with lot of varieties and friendly staff are everywhere. This is my first time being in Kota Batu, Malang and to be honest I have not heard about this place before I came here. I was suggested by my colleague to come here as I was on an employment gap before joining new company, and yes I was all by myself, alone! If you love privacy and personalized services then this place is for you. The complex not quite big like other resort such as mulia or hyatt they have only 22 villas and the service is very personalized more than you can expected. When we check in they gave us the villa that located quite near the hotel that still on construction beside the resort. The workers can freely see you and whatever you doing in the villa, it's really discomforting for us. We asked them to change villa and they gave us villa that quite far from the construction site and near the lobby and all of our experience change immediately. They give free shuttle to nusa dua area so we go to bali collection in nusa dua by the shuttle. When we're taking breakfast one of their staff greet us and talk to us how they can make our stay more comfortable they're so friendly.

My only regret is that I didn't discover this gem earlier in my stay. I will definitely be staying at The JAS Villas on my next trip to Bali. The location was perfect, just down a laneway from all the action in Seminyak yet when in the Villa it was tranquil & super relaxing, you would never know that a 3 min walk away was the hub of Seminyak clubs, bars & restaurants. And right at the end of the laneway across the road was a 24 hr restaurant WINNING”

“we only stayed one night in this hotel before moved to ubud, overall we were very happy with our staying experience here. the hotel is relatively new with modern-style facilities, our room is very small but clearly it has been well-designed for sufficient use of its limited space, the room is very clean and beds are comfy, ac works well and is self-adjustable, free wi-fi, lcd tv with clear channels (unlike many hotels which rather have blur channels). hotel service is good: staffs at reception counter speak well english and are very friendly with their smiles, we were served with hot face towel while doing our check-in. the best thing about this hotel is its location: if you like nightlife then this hotel has probably one of best locations in legain: it's right on the busy street of the jalan legain with many bars/restaurants/karaokes/spas on both directions of the road, you don't need a taxi imo if you just want to experience the nightlife, you will probably find that walking is often quicker than taxis especially during evening. overall this is a very comfortable/good value for money hotel to stay in but do not expect anything too fancy - you pay for the location and this hotel absolutely deserves its 3.5 star standard”

“Concept rooms and corridors from the moment you step into the hotel till you leave. Spacious and clean rooms and bathtub. Hotel staff never fails to greet you and they can help with booking restaurants and tours. Best "THE SHACK" to hangout at the rooftop with awesome music, great sunset views and good sun for tanning. Close walking distance to the beach, some cheap local food nearby and lotsa cafes and restaurants. Anything from the menu breakfast made to order and they get served in 5 minutes!!! Wifi is good too. Try it!”

“The best thing about this hotel is the location: it is very near business offices as well walking distance from shopping malls and restaurants. Hotel security is pretty good and staff are very warm, courteous and helpful. Internet connection can be unstable at times, but I suppose that is pretty common in Indonesia. Stayed here for 11 days on a reserach trip, and this is so far one of the most comfortable hotels I have stayed in.”

“My wife and I have had an excellent stay (1 week) in Puri Santrian, which truely is a 4 star hotel. The hotel is well located right on the cleanest beach of Sanur and close to many restaurants and shops. Kuta beach (30 min) as weel as Ubud (45 min) can be reached easily without traffic issues. It was not clear whether the room we booked (beach wing) was already occupied or simply did not exist at all, but we were uppgraded in a Premier Deluxe room which was just fantastic, comfortable, super clean (twice per day !), very well furnished and decorated. The garden of the hotel, where most rooms are, is really worth the look. 2 nice pools, great spa (a full body massage for 2 worth 90$ was even offered to us when we decided to extend our stay. The food is very good and at resaonnable price; breakfast was great (choice and quality). The staff was really nice and helpful in organizing trips and visits throughout the island; they even helped us to be refunded for a boat tour which took twice the normal time. Comparing with other hotels, I think this is one of the best value for money hotel in Southern Bali. We will definitely choose thise hotel again if we go back to Bali.”

“We stayed at the Bene Hotel for 4 days. Check-in was smooth and the staff provided us with wet towels and juice during check-in. We found the staff to be extremely friendly and well-mannered. Everybody from the security and front desk staff to the restaurant staff greeted us with big smiles. Our room was on the first floor overlooking the restaurant. Though several reviews had complained about the internet, we faced no such issues and had a good browsing experience. Breakfast was good and there was good variety in the breakfast spread. We informed the staff during check-in that we were vegetarians. The restaurant staff made sure that they prepared separate vegetarian dishes each day. The room was just like how it is in the photos. This is a new hotel and everything looked new and clean in our room. Both hot and cold water were available in the shower. The two best things about this hotel are its close proximity to the beach and its quiet environment despite being so close to the beach. Kuta beach is five minutes away by walk and there are many restaurants, mini marts (convenience stores) and spas on the way to the beach. The alley leading to the hotel was well-lit and the place was safe, so we had no issues walking back to the hotel late at night. As we had an early-morning checkout, the hotel staff booked us a Bluebird taxi to the airport and ensured that our check-out was swift. They also offered and provided us with vegetarian breakfast boxes during check-out. Overall, our Bali experience was made memorable by the staff at The Bene Hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would have no qualms staying here again.”

“It's a very nice hotel, in a very good location: Seminyak is probably the best place to stay if you go to Bali, and there's a very nice street with restaurants and shops for tourists just by the hotel. So, nice and clean, with a nice swimming pool, nice breakfast, everything nice. And still, I preferred the Mutiara: smaller hotel, nicer swimming pool (though more noisy), and nicer breakfast. In any case, both are very good options. (the only thing I liked better about the Amadea is that we had a closed bathroom; the open-air bathroom that we had at Mutiara, and which seems to be relatively popular in high-end hotels in Indonesia, is very "romantic" as a general idea but not so great in practice for urbanites such as myself).”

“would say this is the best hotel in kuta. it has everything to offer. we had a great stay. the hotel provides free wifi, complimentary dvd player, and even a laptop!!. the breakfast at pavoz restaurant was awesome with lots of varieties on a daily basis catering for both vegetarian and non-veg. location - just 5 minutes walk to discovery shopping mall, bali ratu spa is just opposite the hotel, authorized money changer - check with the hotel, tour packages - u may book via the hotel or through any of the travel agencies outside the hotel. food - varieties of restaurants around the hotel. from starbucks, pizza hut, domino's, chinese, western, balinese etc... shopping: go to kuta art market, kuta market, discovery mall, centro and of course matahari. you don't have to take a cab, just walk from the hotel. it takes just 15 minutes. good cheap shopping - krisna shopping store!!! a must go! cheap place for souvenir comparing with other outlets at kuta.”

“I stayed in one of the Swirl Room of this hotel for 3 nights with my mother, and we absolutely loved it. Such a big room for such a good price! (Thanks Agoda). The breakfast buffet is amazing: so varied and delicious, and with the prime views of the rooftop restaurant. We had dinner at the restaurant in 2 of our nights and we absolutely loved everything we ordered. Each plate was delicious, fresh and used the best ingredients. I absolutely recommend the fresh tuna salad - the best I have ever had at such a good price! (Prices were actually really good for a hotel restaurant in a rooftop, very cheap relative to Australian prices, obviously expensive compared to street/warung food in Seminyak). In fact, you can totally get a main dish for the same price as a cocktail :)”

“This is one of the best hotel/villa I have stay in my 10 years travelling. The design of the villa represent the unique of Balinese culture. I book a villa with private pool and the room is spacious and authentic design. The hygiene is perfect and need to praise to the villa staff too, as very friendly, polite and helpful which represent the beauty of Balinese. I enjoy the Galungan Festival here and the staff is very happy to help me wear sarung. The breakfast is much better taste than the other restaurant in Ubud, make us rather back to villa to have our dinner than try and error at center Ubud. The environment of villa is quiet and very private, make us feel can relax and in overall we have a very good experience staying in Dwaraka. Very highly recommended.”

“The hotel is of best value. Amazing service and fantastic food. Staff were so polite and accommodating In total we stayed five days at this hotel and greatly enjoyed the quiet and comfort .The rooms were clean , although a little dated. The service from the friendly , attentive staff was excellent. There are numerous restaurants in the hotel but they are expensive .However breakfast is included and is excellent. It is not located in the best position and a taxi or tuk tuk is needed to go anywhere. However the price made up for any shortcomings”

“This is rated as the best boutique hotel in Indonesia by one of the magazines and we can understand why. Beautiful location at Northern tip of Lembongen and fab restaurants nearby although the hotel bar is well-priced especially at happy hour. A manager was leaving so all guests invited to the party including free buffet while there. Any issue (village rooms can be noisy so recommend sea view) and the staff bend over backwards to help--in our case moving us to a lovely alternative room. There are other sites cheaper than Agoda, but their rate includes boat transfers both ways, which would have cost another £40 for two.”

Reception

“We stayed at Batu Karang for three nights, and I didn't want to leave. The service received upon first arriving on the Island of Lembongan was fantastic. We had a representative from the hotel come pick us up from the beach and walk us to the hotel (it's not a long walk), while other staff from the hotel took our bags from the beach to the hotel. We were greeted with a drink and refreshing towels, then given a tour of the resort. We stayed in a villa and it was beautiful, it literally looked just like the photos; and our bags were already in our room. Breakfast was inclusive in our stay, the breakfast was a la carte but you could order anything and as much as you wanted as part of breakfast and was still covered by the included breakfast. The food was delicious as were their cocktails. The resort also organised a snorkel trip for us which was really memorable as we got to swim with manta rays, and it was very reasonably priced. Upon check out the representative at the counter received a call, and asked if we had left a watch in the room. I'd left my watch behind in the safe but someone came down and returned it to me at the reception; I didn't even know I had left it behind, so I'm very grateful. We'd always get asked when we'd go out exploring the island where we were staying and every time we'd answer Batu Karang we'd get told it was the best place on the island; and I can see why, we had a flawless stay and only the best service.”

“Pros: The hotel is set within nice gardens which are well maintained and is just a short walk from the busy main Senggigi strip and beach. The staff are friendly and helpful and the room is a good size. The cafe by the main gate sells coffee which is pretty good. Cons: The cleanliness lets the hotel down, the bathroom had dust and dirt in the corners and didn't really feel clean. The "free minibar" that Agoda highlights is 4 bottles of water, 3 cans of soft drink and a packet of crisps. We've stayed in much better 3* hotels in Indonesia that were more reasonably priced. It needs maintenance and tlc.”

“We enjoyed staying in this hotel, even though the location is far back but it is still great location to other places (It's located in the heart of Seminyak). Staff is great, friendly, and professional. However, the cleanliness of the hotel and the way the clean the room is a little bit below my standard, so I have to give 3 star instead of 5, we found a stain on our bed sheet even though it has been changed. Facilities is quite complete, they provide baby coat for our 10 months old baby and she is super happy. Overall this is a great price point of view and give you the best value for money.”

“I was impressed with the cleanliness - it was spotless. In my 8 nights there I did not see a single mosquito or spider so I was pleased about that. The air conditioner was fantastic as was the free WiFi - either on my own device or the computer they have available for guests to use. The linen was completely changed every day - not just tidied up. The room had everything I needed - the safe was fantastic, and although the shower was small that is a minor thing, but I would advise taking your own shower gel as they supply soap. The staff were fantastic, they were friendly and helpful to the point of nothing being too much trouble. The pool was great - clean and cold. The food in the restaurant is really nice and reasonably priced - I heard the pasta on pasta night was the best pasta my family had ever eaten. The hotel has a money changer that is regularly on site and I would recommend using them instead of risking the local money changers. I was never interrupted by noise and enjoyed the range of TV channels available. The on-site spa has well priced treatments and were enjoyed. On the down side the towels were a little scratchy but that's minor. The hotel is a little difficult for drivers to access as the street is very narrow, but they managed. Everything I needed was close by the hotel - just across the road is a laundry, deli (for bottled water etc) Ted's bar. Just around the corner is Warung Kapung ( cheap yummy food - please try the Mie Goreng and fruit juice all up $2.50 AUD) and on the corner to the Warung is a shop run by an elderly gentleman who has great souvenirs at a really good price. I plan to stay at this hotel again when I go back to Bali later this year.”
