The staff went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Both sides of the hotel offer views to mountains, although I'd recommend the rooms explicitly stating "Mountain View" for the best sunset and mountain vistas.

We went there in July 2018. The hotel is very nice, a bit outside of the centre, but close to the biggest market of the town and also to a shopping mall. We booked the hotel an agoda but upon arriving in Thakek at about 7pm at the bus station we found that none of the tuk-tuk drivers or anyone we asked who worked at the station knew where it was. A nice hotel with wonderful large bedrooms with very comfortable beds. the hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the middle of town and the bars and restaurants. the hotel is a little odd as it is on the old airport so things are a little more spread out than normal. overall it a nice clean and very quiet hotel for a vist to the town or the 'Plain of Jars'.

Beds okay, shower toilet and towel, place a bit empty, staff with difficulties to talk English.

we had a nice stay at the guesthouse. it is just in front of the cave tour office and surrounded by beautiful scenery. the bungalows are nice and clean, but expect a few insects as it is basically in middle of the jungle. there isnt any food available and dont expect many other options in vieng xai(small village).
