Best hotels & accommodations in Malaysia

really it was one of the best hotels in malaysia, very nice staff, smiling all time. lobby v.very nice music was great, lastly advising any body to try this hotel with no hesitation. and if i will go back to Kuala Lumpor i will chose this hotel and it will be through AGODA. the location was excellent around shopping malls, Bank, many resturant and Arabic resturant. co...

Still under construction at the upper floors so you can expect some drilling and banging noises. But the price is good. Breakfast is spartan as occupancy is low. Probably it’s the best hotel room I ever stayed in Johor maybe because it’s new. Most other hotels I have stayed in Malaysia tend to get very run down after a short while due to lack of maintenance so this new...

I have been looking for the perfect hotel for hubby and I to just stay the night for our anniversary night. We figure the celebration was delayed slightly due to work and hectiq lifestyle here in KL that we want to go somewhere perfect. I have start surveying for months before the our anniversary day and finally I got my eye on Traders. Booking with AGODA is simple, cl...

One of the best hotels and hotel experiences iv had was at this hotel! Staff was super friendly and helpful for helping us get around Malaysia! Rooms are super clean just like the pictures with amazing views of the city! Morning breakfast buffet is delicious so is the evening dinner menu a la carte! Definitely recommend this hotel!

We loved and enjoyed our stay in the resort. We booked 2 rooms and requested for a connecting one. Checked-in was really great as they did it inside our room! I forgot to get the name of the staff. Service was great. Our kids enjoyed the facilities of the hotel. Most especially the pool with slides! Food was okay since we are not used to Malaysia cuisine. The only down...

We think it can be graded as one of the top hotels in Malaysia. The room is spacious, new and clean. We stayed 3 nights and the room was always clean up very neaty with clean bedlinen throughout. The operators and the receptionists were very courteous and efficient. We really enjoyed our stays and would definitely like to go back during our next visit.

We've stayed at a few resorts in Malaysia/Asia now and overall we consider this to be the best. We got a great last minute rate on Agoda (including full buffet breakfast) for a king room with golf view (large windows overlooking a really nice golf course). The room was clean and comfy and came equipped with all traveller essentials and luxuries (including iron and ...

Hatten Hotel Melaka delivered way over my expectations. I was worried about parking during school holidays. But we had no issue with lack of parking space. Because the carpark is shared with mall patrons, we locked our car with bar lock and noticed surrounding cars did the same. Booked deluxe suite with interconnecting rooms, fantastic for extended families. And each r...

We had a really lovely stay at the Magellan Sutera Harbour Resort in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. The staff were friendly and very helpful, they were always at hand to answer our questions. We stayed in a Garden View room, which was great, the room was always kept very clean and had all the facilities you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The recreational facilit...

This is my second time stay at this hotel (The Shore Hotel). Overall EXCELLENT but something I notice that the pool are used also by local (family/group of kids) as they are using entrance from mall/parking (free parking - level 3/3a) and easily can access to level 9 (pool) ONLY via The Shore Hotel without any security control (access card provided to tenant but anyone...

we always like to have short gateaway when we are free. we like travelling to malaysia. but for a short gateaway, its not really convinience for us if we went to place like kl, malaca, genting n etc. we didnt realize that there were great hotel located in johor. when we 1st found out abt the petri pacific, we browse trough their website n its seem like a nice place to ...

This was my 2nd visit to Malaysia but with a child under 18 months old,I wanted a resort type hotel with everything nearby. I got upgraded to suite due to a problem with my booking which was not my fault and the reservations manager was excellent. This is a great place for bringing kids because everything is within the complex. Having a shopping centre next to the hotel...

The hotel is in an ideal location for both business and shopping. The breakfast provided are well spread with good choice of food. The rooms are well equip with free internet connection. Not many hotel in Malaysia give this free of charge. TYhis allows one to stay connected when required. The hotel is situated in an location easily accesible to spirint express to go to...

The stay was good. Although we love our room, a leak at the roof forced us to changed room to the beach side unit. The beach side unit was not as clean as the first 2nd-storey unit. Staff were friendly, but they could improve a bit more on response and staff-to-staff communication. Unlike many hotels in Malaysia, this hotel is generally well-maintained. We were happy...

The hotel is strategically located and easily accesses to most shopping areas, eateries except for the bigger malls like Imago, Suria can be a bit far but cabs are readily available. The hotel should consider internet access as a common standard offer in hotels these days due to advancement in information technology. It will be nicer if you add a hidden cost in the r...

Spent a week in the spa suite apartments for the family and we absolutely enjoyed ourselves. The location was ideal for those seeking to get away from the busy city, while still remain close to amenities. We rented a car at affordable rates from a local car rental company, and used a mobile app called WAZE to get around - driving around was easy since the app had the...

A great place to stay in Georgetown. Only 10 minutes walk away from Penang Road and the Georgetown Heritage area, so you are shielded from the noise, pollution and business of that area. The staff are excellent and the breakfast is among the best among hotels in Malaysia. There are two pools and both are big enough to cater for everyone. There's also a free boat shuttl...

Boom for 1 night and ended up extended for 2 nights in this hotel. This is my honest review and im soo loving it! The room is very spacious, all brand new furniture, got bath room, fully equipped and even got aircond. Stay in highest room for hotel (27th floor) and our room got best view! Looking over the mountain. The room got TV with selection of movie. They even p...

I rarely break over 100 USD per night especially in Malaysia where you can find clean and cheap hotels almost anywhere. The location was wonderful to be able to go out uour balcony and breathe fresh air and nice views at the top. It is with walking distance to visit some honey/ strawberry farms and the market which was the reason I chose this hotel. The buffet breakf...

Perhaps the most positive hotel experience I've had in Malaysia. Everything worked the first time and the room was of a very high standard. Will revisit this property again in the future. Beach is very nice and there are plenty of staff around so you don't feel abandoned like you can in so many hotels in Malaysia. Best hotel experience I've had in Malaysia. Recommended...

Look no further. This is the best valued hotel and is well equipped with everything you need to enjoy your visit in Malaysia. The rooms are new and clean. Free shuttle bus rides to Ikea MyTown, Klcc, Pavilion and Sunway Putra makes going to destinations stress free. The hotel is situated right next to a newly built mall. It also has its own swimming pool and gym on...

You have amenities at your doorstep - should try the Foot-spa at the Lobby area - fantastic. Breakfast - delicious and ample. They serve a variety to suit everyone. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was the best I've had in a hotel in Malaysia. Remember to use the Hotel taxi-ask the staff for help - they are always so willing to help

I booked this hotel as per map's survey initially as it was near the Petronas Tower. Hoping that we can get a room with the tower view. Though it was near the famous tower, the fact that the hotel is facing in a different direction, you cannot really get a nice view. Our room is on the KL Tower side instead and small glimpse of the famous structure. It was a cheap ...

Simply one of the best I've experienced around the world, and definitely the best, the number 1 choice if you are looking to stay in Johor Bahru. Excellent location, just beside KSL shopping, of course you have ksl resort as an option which is located above the shopping mall, but the staff service is nothing compared to the ones at Holiday villa. The cleanliness, the ...

Our staying there is quite good n awesome we don't mind staying there coz near to Lot 10 shopping mall n sungai wang. The room is clean n good condition but sadly my hotel room was facing other building, not sure its hotel or apartment but it can see through ur hotel room from other side. As for breakfast its ok for me even the breakfast food not so much to choose as f...

Though we booked a superior room, we were placed in a suite; comparing to all hotels we've been staying in Asia--the suite was quite spacious. Great hotel to relax after a long tired day of sightseeing Malaysia. Hotel is conveniently located. All walking distance to shopping plazas (Time Squares, Pavillon) or to the monorail. Cons: Though the hotel is centrally...

the hotel is linked with a mall and theme park which is really the best place to be in malaysia to experience the best attraction in asia. we are satisfied with the service and the customer support and accommodation of the staff from arrival to our departure. we were even given an extension until 7pm because we are flying out late that night. we truly enjoyed our sta...

It seems a little bit pricey for the average traveler but Kota Kinabalu is more expensive than Peninsular Malaysia in general and it costs far less than Meridien. But if you have a bit to spare, it's well worth it for the size of the room, the amenities and the location is fantastic. Lots of food options within in walking distance - if you need to get to a mall Centrep...

I've stayed at nearly every hotel in Bukit Bintang. I can say with great integrity that this is the best Value for the money and quality. There are many beautiful lobbies around but it's the room that counts. Good location, comfortable bed, bright lighting, adequate AC, fresh smelling, good water pressure, hot shower, no bugs, safety. These are the things I look f...

The Icon Hostel is really comfortable n clean with nice locker n lock. I checked in earlier in the morning but the owner lemme in without any charge. He is supper humble n helpful. The place is really close with Plza Rakyat LRT beside Puduraya mall. Just walk less than 10 minutes. You can choose Masjid Jamek LRT also but little bit far. Need Grab or other online Taxi t...

1. The location is right in the heart of the core zone. All the cultural places are within a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. I left way early for all the free tours I joined, so this is actually the first time i actually arrived early for any of my scheduled trips, I think. There is absolutely no need to take the bus, free or not, or Uber/Grab because everything is wi...

Best Family motel- spacious rooms and complete with basic amenities and with great value for money. This motel is great stopover if you coming to Langkawi for shopping and sightseeing. But If you want to relax and enjoy resort/hotel facilities (pool/spa/etc), please book elsewhere as this motel is not for you.

Deluxe Room : Do NOT book this room, it doesn't exist. They only have standard rooms and dorm rooms, not sure why the hotel listed Deluxe rooms on Agoda and they had to refund some of my money. They were VERY NICE about the whole thing as it's a mistake that they will fix soon I'm sure. VALUE: Amazing value but you do get what you pay for. Queen bed with about ...

Though we had a hard time looking for it’s location (because we were unaware that it only occupies a floor in a building as opposed to the usual one building-one hotel set up), we were impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, cleanliness of the room and the accessibility of the hotel’s location. I wish that the TV would have been bigger or the pl...

It's a best choice to stay in KLCC area, near KL tower make you comfort to stay any longer. The five star accomodation with good facilities especially the infinity pool you'll get the best view with Petronas and KL tower. Enjoy the luxury life with great lifestyle. Don't worry about check in, just make appointment to come and they'll asist you.

Very nice and clean guesthouse, the staff is very friendly and the room are very well equipped. It is a bit far away from the beach (15min to Pantai Tengah and 20min to Pantai Cenang walking) but that was not a very big inconvenient for us. There is a couple of cheap food places around the guesthouse and at least two convenient stores. I recommend it if you are not bot...

Easy to locate right next to KS Minimart/Klinik Wong in Brinchang, RM10 taxi from Tanah Rata, plenty eateries nearby. Big room, great price, cleanliness was impeccable, and they had great TV channels plus free flow tea. The best was the staff - easy check in (they already had my name ready on their list from Agoda and I felt very welcomed the moment I walked in), helpe...

I've stayed here twice now because the value for what you get is just too good to pass up. Pros: - cheap - facilities were great: air conditioning, comfy beds, private bathrooms with hot showers, tv and fridge - great restaurant with cheap food in the lobby - very friendly staff Cons: - it's a bit out of the way, about a 15 minute walk to central Sandakan - not muc...

Booked 1 night and stayed 2 more. Extremely good value in a gorgeous city. The place is a female student boarding house and we visited during university holidays so practically had the entire complex to ourselves. Full kitchen and coin operated washing machines perfect for those travelling on a budget.

The Irsia BnB was our arrival point into Malaysia, and we had just flown in from a two month tour of India. Because of this, the price was a shock for what we got, but when taking into account the fact we're in the capital city of Malaysia, I guess it was justified. The rooms were clean, though with thin walls, and at time of writing the building next door was under...

I book a room for one with cheap prices through Agoda. In the room there is no air conditioning. But a fan is provided. For me, that was enough because it didn't feel hot. It is located near Central Market and Petaling Street. The room was clean but I was given a room right off the main road and it was very noisy with the noise of the vehicles. Also, you should b...

Perfect location--Walking distance from Hang Tuah station, Bukit Bintang area, Berjaya Times square, mamak (cheap local eatery with delish food) and convenience store. They have basic facilities but all are new and working perfectly. (AC, hot shower, TV, safe). The bed was comfortable and they cleaned the room daily plus provided new towels + soaps. Wifi was quite weak...

I booked 4 rooms, with family members ranging from 3-year-old to 70's, staying there for a night. It was sure a pleasant stay. The hotel is clean & neat, particularly the common bathrooms. We also like the artistic touch around the hotel where simple but interesting pictures are painted on the walls, especially those in the rooms. My niece had difficulty in choosing th...

I asked the staff about the cooking class and in the end I was the only one who could help and watch how an amazing dinner was cooked!! It consisted of different meals and in the end we sat all together and I could ask everything about Malaysia or Bangladesh. Highly recommend and ask for cooking class. Only 15RM/person!!!!

It is a really nice hostel in a good central location. The room and shared bathrooms are extremally nice and clean. The included breakfast is tasty (it was usually a toast bread, jam, fruits, cake and sometimes sausages so not too bad!). There is also a really tasty restaurant downstairs with the best Laksa in Malaysia!

I booked this hotel a couple of days before arriving, it was in the center of Kl and it was suspiciously cheap, so I wasn't holding out much hope for it being any good. I couldn't have been more wrong. I have stayed at budget accommodation in every SE Asian country and this was among the best. The staff are very welcoming, the room was big with a very comfy bed, the sh...

My Hostel Muntri was a great accommodation experience. The staff was extremely helpful and generous, I hadn't exchanged my money to ringett yet and they still let me check in and stay the night and pay the next day. It was a bit hard to find, but once I found it the location was great. I felt super safe and comfortable here and walking back at night while alone. The on...

All in all it is a great Hostel. The dorms are reasonable and cosy, everything is clean enough. The hostel offers eferything you need, a big kitchen and easy toast breakfast as well as an superb bar. The other people we met in the dorm were nice and also was the staff. But still there were some negativities I want to mention. Sometimes the staff seems to be a bit unor...

Top 3 Things I enjoyed the most at my stay: 1. The location is an excellent spot to everything. Everything is "walkable" from the place. You can go to the Suriah Sabah Mall for some shopping, grocery shopping at KK Plaza, Adventure at Jesselton Point, or take a bus at the Padang Merdeka. It is the center of all the city tour you need to do when going to Kota Kinabalu...

We booked a room in Raizzys with shared bathroom facilities. The room itself was basic but very clean. Our room also came with a lockable wardrobe. Security in general is good as you need a key code to get into the building in the first place. There is a common room with a TV and computer with free wifi. There is unlimited tea and coffee and you get bread in the mornin...

Irena & Sam - most helpful host I ever encountered and they're very friendly :) Emma and Carlotta are the sweetest people we've met here and if u travel alone, u definitely make new friends here and won't feel lonely Overall experience : we will definitely be back to this place and the fun fishing is the best! Chilling out at the common area also something to look f...

First time stay guesthouse, scare at the beginning, but after that found out is not bad. Like it. Unless the toilet been fixed? Is good also the guesthouse provide us washing machine, so that we can bring less cloth. But not good cause didnt provide much hanger for us, and a place for us to hang wet cloth(i have to hang it in the room and dry with aircond and fan). And...

I booked this hotel for the 2nd time as the 1st time was with good memories, however we had to wait for more than 1 hour to check in to our room. Initially I wanted to book the deluxe seaview, but the price is higher than what I had expected so i decided to book the deluxe garden view instead. The room is really nice, big and spacious and most importantly clean. It also has a mediteranean feel to it which is different from other hotel, but we really like it. However it does not provide hairdryer which i think is...

The stay was unexpectedly good. I can't believe there is such awesome hotel in Malaysia. The staff was friendly ,courteous & attentive. The room is spacious & the bed is comfortable. I love it that they provide almost everything in the hotel from toothbrush to bathing salt. I love their chocolate pastry. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!

Many cyclists from all over the world was conned by the Melaka Century Ride 2016 organizer. Organizer collect the registration fees cancelled the even without refund. Bayou Lagoon Park Resort was very generous to have offered all cyclist a full refund. We decided to carry on with our stays with Bayou. With much delight, we found the place to be very decent. We have stayed at Imperial Hotel a number of times, but had stayed in the 2 or 3 bedroom apartments. This was actually our first time booking a deluxe room. The check in was very fast and efficient (as usual). We had requested for a smoking room but none was available at the time so we were somehow upgraded to a Suite! The suite was extremely spacious and the bed was v...

Tips: YOU MUST CHECK that the booking for an overnight stay (and not day use). This was not clear in the Agoda booking page, but I was able to upgrade with Agoda's help. Also note that all Malaysia hotels will add on a 10 MYR / night tourism tax for non-citizens (except Tune Hotel will waive the fee for Malaysia Permanent Residents)

I was amazed and way totally satisfied with my stay at Armada. Cleanliness was superb! The room was so tidy, with complete utilities! And their food was great! I will surely recommend this hotel to my friends when they visit Malaysia and I will definitely stay at this hotel the next time. For the polite people at the reception, thank you! My experience at Armada adds t...

Wi-Fi was unavailable but lucky enough to bring a laptop and LAN wire so personal network was set up in no time. Good facilities. After all, how many hotels in Malaysia have three swimming pools? New York hotel in Johor Bahru is conveniently located close to Singapore border. Great place to stay. Walking distance (very near) a big shopping complex. Good food, movie and massage place. The best is the hotel is near Legoland Malaysia. Will come again to the hotel perhaps after few years. Only flaw is that the wifi is extremely slow, unable to surf the internet. Then again who needs the internet when you are enjoying your vacation.

Two of us touring on motorbikes stayed here for the obligatory visit to Cameron Highlands while visiting Malaysia. Hotel seemed bery new at time of writing (Oct 2018). The room was clean and spacious (we were upgraded to a two bed suite) and the locations was brilliant. There is a night market just outside that rivals the Brinchang Market but far less effort.

Staying for 2 nights as our short vacay, it was remakable moment. From entrance until end holiday, all staffs, foods, facilities and etc are really my expections. This is the best hotel in Malaysia esp East Malaysia. Thank you for your hospitality, I and my family r surely coming back to stay at your hotel. We love it!

I was staying there with my husband for 2 day, consider was the first trip after we married so we called it pre- honeymoon. I send email to the resort 3 days before we arrived for some queries but no respond, was disappointed and commented on tripadvisor.com. But the way when we arrived and checked in, the Friendly receptionist called the floor manager to attend to us ...

The location is the biggest draw, of course, with Pavilion only being 5 minutes on foot, but the staff is also exceptionally welcoming and helpful. And for once this even included the reception on check-in and out and the front desk throughout (in most luxury hotels in Malaysia the receptionists are far sub-par and too busy with their own importance in the scheme of th...

evergreen laurel hotel penang was a great experience when we arrived in penang, malaysia. hotel staff was prompt and helpful on providing us with accurate information about travelling tips. clean and up-to-standard hotel. breakfast was nice though some waitresses were too anxious to close up breakfast stations. breakfast timing till 1030hrs but you see them packing up ...

It was a pleasent stay, good deco, courteouse staff, comfortable bed, relaxing enviroment. Location wise it is great, with all the great choise of food selectiom within walking distance of the hotel. Because of the location, traffic is hectic most if the time, so its best to take "Grab" out from Amari and meet your friend somewhere else, because it may take longer ti...

great experience at Avillion hotel. One of my favourite hotel in Malaysia. The Avi Spa is so relaxing and facing the sea you can smell the sea so close. The only cons i think is the car park, its small and easily full. However, there is another car park opposite, far a bit.

We booked a seaview suite which is very spacious and has a wonderful view over the pool area and the ocean. The room also had the priveleges of using the private Kings Club Lounge with a gourmet breakfast, high tea (delicious) and a cocktail hour with canapes, plus refreshments all day long. The real bonus of these priveleges was the outstanding service we received fr...

Amazing! We chose the Hilton because it was conveniently located across the road from the airport express terminal, and offered 5 star luxury. It did not disappoint. From when we first arrived off a 13 hr flight and ordered room service, we were amazed by the quality of the food, the huge portions and how cheap it was compared to Europe. The following morning, the br...

The panaroma sea view villas were great, very private and awesome view. we booked through agoda 1.5 months earlier, however when we arrive, reception could not find our booking. after 15 minutes, they sent us to the lighthouse reception. we waited another 10 minutes as they couldn't find our booking as well. customer service had to call up their reservations departmen...

From arrival, then check in, all perfect. Room was fantastic with great view. The only lack was short of staff. For 5 star hotel, hotel lobby MUST have someone, to mingle with guest and ready for any questions. If this area can be achieved, it will be best hotel at that area and definately you will see more return guest.

We came on a staycation for 2 nights and booked a deluxe room and got upgraded to a Colonial Suite. This was a huge bonus and we were pleasantly surprised because it came with access to the Club Lounge where the Reading Room is and have free flow coffee and tea and some sweets and biscuits. We had the Afternoon Tea on the first day and enjoyed it thoroughly. Service he...

This is our 3rd time stay in their Studio room since last December 2014. Previously was booked through directly from Hotel, but this time round the hotel rate slightly higher than Agoda (the staff told maybe because of GST). My family members are very satisfy with Weil hotel. We stayed with them when they are rated 3 star till 4 star currently. I think they should rat...

On arrival we were given an upgrade which was appreciated. The room was the best we stayed in on our stay in Malaysia which included the Grand Millenium and the Hilton in KL. Outstanding room and great value for money. Excellent location, good for shopping and sight seeing right on the waterfront.

Hi, I would like to commend the staff at the Shangri-la Hotel in Malaysia for making my holiday one of the best that I have had yet. The rooms were excellent and the service second to none. We stayed at a number of different locations whilst visiting Malaysia and the Shangri-la was by far the best. This is truly a five star hotel and not one that leaves you disappoi...
