For our honeymoon in Maldives, we decided to stay at Pullman Maldives and Hurawalhi. Both resorts are good; but, Hurawalhi is definitely more geared toward couples. The experience feels a bit more private at Hurawalhi and the atmosphere is more quiet since it is an adult only resort. The buildings at Hurawalhi does seem a bit older and has more traditional design than the one at Pullman. The one in Pullman does seem more luxurious; but other than that, the room itself is great. You will get your own island host here who would help you to fill your needs throughout your stay. Our island host, Varvara, was really nice and tried her best to accomodate our needs throughout our stay. The seaplane was full when we arrived (around 11 AM) and we only ended up bringin 1 small hand carry size luggage and left our 3 other luggages. Unfortunately, the rest of the luggages end up arriving at 11 PM which was a bummer; but our island host tried her best to accomodate our needs.

This was our first honeymoon destination we planned and it was worth every penny. After viewing almost all resorts on Maldives for 8 full months, this was booked before 6 months for the best possible rate and for the best excursions and activities which was either all inclusive or for discounted rates. Food was a 5 start service which was all inclusive was set as a 3 course menu which was delicious and different menu everyday every time for 5 nights and 6 days. We had the privilege to enjoy Onam on the resort which is festival in Kerala in India with a delicious dessert called Payasam which is a traditional one. The water villa stay was amazing amidst the blue-green clear waters surrounding it, the fishes of every kind with baby sharks and with the coral reefs around it, felt it was a different world altogether. No ill treatment from any staffs, all wishing everytime we pass by them, very courteous and polite, and very informative people. The only downside of this place or Maldives as a whole would be the unpredicted weather which can change within minutes or a day can sometimes ruin a plan but otherwise its all perfect for family and honeymoon vacation. i've selected this hotel for my vacation in maldives. the 1st reason why i've chosen this is because recommended by my colleagues. i've review the hotel information again and found it worth the price. the problem with maldives resort is they are too far away from the airport and it's hassle and exhausted when you've travel long hour to the country and you still have to travel far (&expensive) to the hotel. this resort is only 45 minute from airport by speedboat and the best thing is, it saved you around 1k usd for the airplane if the resort is far from airport. when i reach the resort, the receptions are very friendly and caring. they will offer help even you're not asking. that's precious that you seldom find this in popular tourist area. they speak good english and communicate well. for the accomodation, i can say that i'm very satisfy with the cleanness and hygiene they have maintain in the room. the room is tidy and don't smell funny. equipped with all the gadgets that urban lifestyle people had eg usb port, laptop table, even ipod deck. the villa designed in a way where it keep a good distance where people can have their own privacy without worry being disturb or disturbed others. what else it can say, this resort is worth the money, beautiful, clean and staff are handy. i wonder why this resort is not rated as 5 stars. they should earn the credit!

From the moment we set our feet to island everything and everyone was super friendly, kind and warm. Staff was always smiling and greeting us whenever or wherever they see us. The rooms were spacious and super clean. Housekeeping cleans the rooms twice and refills mini-bar once per day by paying upmost attention to the privacy of the guests. Some of the previous review I read mentioned that furnitures at the hotel were a bit outdated. It is true but definitely nothing disturbing. Food in the main restaurant was so delicious. Maybe restaurant and open buffet are not as big or various as some other more expensive hotels in Maldives but they are definitely more than adequate with the price we gave to Veligandu. One special thanks to waiter Hassan. He was super warm and smiling during our every meal. The sea around the hotel was breathtaking. All in all, Veligandu was an amazing choice for us to spend our honeymoon.

had an super awesome and amazing experience in vilamendhoo... to those who are still thinking which hotel to choose in maldives, vilamendhoo is the one... it has the unbeatable service and quality .... if you are too wealthy (willing to pay 80% more for the same quality/service) , go else where.. otherwise, take my advice, this is definitely one of the best hotel in maldives...

Except that there is a quite long domestic travel time needed (domestic flight 1hr plus 20 mins speedboat travel time from Male to the resort), our stay at Maldives this time is one of the best moment in my life so far! Special thanks to the hotel staff Inaash for the great service from start to end of our journey. Please ignore other bad comments from other travelers, at least from now, the hotel service is up to 5.5 stars! Every staffs in the resort are kind, helpful and showing smiles even before you give any tips, and it is sure the hotel provide luggage delivery to your room after you check-in, and it is so even at this Feb, full booking high season! As I am a travel expert, I do know and understand the island is quite big with beautiful beach, so I would expect 10-20 mins romantic walk if the bike is being hired. Our included meals at Zest and Flavour is fabulous and the (paid) Valentine Dinning at the famous Sea Dragon is even better! Even the take away food at Deli is also above the average. It is true that at the Aqua room types the water is at 1.2 meters high since it is rocky, it is not suitable for barefoot walking, but at Aquaholic they offer free ride to snorkeling platforms or paid speedboat to best spot for snorkeling. There are many spots in the beach and resort where you can have your perfect photos in your life with just your phone camera. Everything is clean, new and modern, especially at the room, the hard working staff will do room service in the morning, and if not they will also try in the afternoon, the room is bright, brand new and fashion just like the photos in commercials.

Meeru Island considered one of the biggest Islands in Maldives. The Jetty entrance and reception area is flat and specious with scattered tall coconut trees within bigger area of surface, creating nice and joyful atmosphere and pleasant sea breeze under the shadow. The restaurants and bars are well decorated and maintained with nice and comfortable tables, sofas and cushions, floored with wet soft sands, high ceilings and the major sides are opened to circulate cool breeze. My booking was for “Water Villa”, Full Board, which has been upgraded to All Inclusive. The Water Villa in Meeru Island is unique in kind and does not exist within any other Resorts in Maldives. The Villa is exactly at the edge of sea water, where you get the feeling you are in both land and water at the same time. The Water Villa got two different level decks exists in the water, one of them got two relaxing seats and the second got two sun loungers in addition to two beach loungers beside the villa. During the high and low tides of water, the water reaches below the decks and allows the marine creatures to be roaming in front of the Water Villa. The best area for swimming and snorkeling in Meeru Island Resort is in front of the Water Villas area, where there is soft sand, clear water and exciting views. Being you are accommodated at Water Villas, this adds more enjoyment to your beach swimming and other activities. . The only short fall in the Resort which is available of most of Resorts in Maldives is not availability of extended decks of restaurants and bars over the water. My stay at Meeru Island Resort was fantastic and memorable and definitely I would recommend strongly to stay at “Water Villa” for real enjoyment and feeling as you are in paradise.

Stayed 2 nights at Grand Park , we came for Celebrate my Birthday and Our Wedding Celebration. The Hotel pick us Very early at the male airport ,and straight took us to resort by they own speedboat 20 minutes . No need time for doing the checked in ,they took us to our Ocean Pool room with beautiful views and Lovely gift my birthday cake. I exteremly like this resort, compare with all many countries and resorts I had been . The price is reasonable , and the restaurants as well. We love the pool bar The breeze , like heavens with bar ..And Yummy food they have,I love the thaifood. And The Edge for breakfast they have asian food so good especially the prata and noodle soup . Thank you so much For Ilyass Ibrahim ,who had been arranged with me for everythings . For sure this resorts really recomended , you dont need using the seaplane to get A Nice Resorts at Maldives.. The resort is aptly named Paradise Island, as it is indeed a piece of heaven on earth. Maldives is a beautiful country and Paradise Island truly showcases it. We stayed in superior beach villas, which had direct access to the beach. The rooms were big, clean and well equipped. The bathroom had an outdoor shower and a bathtub indoors. The resort is about 1 km long and one can travel comfortably in the buggies which were always a call away. We had the full board package, so we ate in Bageecha restaurant for all our meals. The food spread was extravagant and catering to every cuisine and taste. The desserts were especially well made. We didn't do any water sports except the canoe which was free for the hotel guests, although prior booking is recommended. The badminton court was big and fun to play in. The Araamsu spa was huge and the massages really good. We fed the stingrays and sharks which my daughter enjoyed the most. A special mention to the staff - Nish, Geethika, and Hasdim at the Bageecha. The hospitality and attention to detail given to us, was exceptional. I can go on about the care and service we were given, but its best experienced yourself. The natural beauty of the resort combined the exceptional hospitality and amenities of Paradise Island, made our holiday a very memorable one. You cant go wrong with this one. Highly recommended.

Bandos will provide you best facilities and when it comes to neatness it's a perfect choice. It's just a 20 min ride from velana international airport. Restaurant's are good but when it comes to price most of the hotels in maldives charges you in dollars ,bandos too follows the same. Make sure that you carry enough dollars or creditcard otherwise you have to starve. Staff is professional and loved the receiving & sendoff too.

We chose Thulhagiri after reading reviews about their housereef because we are avid snorkellers and one of us scuba dives. We are so glad that we had made the right choice! We booked a water bungalow and it is well worth it - we spotted 2 large reef rays, several juvenile & baby reef black tip sharks, an eagle ray, cuttlefish, Rainbow Runner jackfish, juvenile Pinnate spadefish, squids, and many triggers, sweetlips & surgeons right off our water bungalow & on the three bridges connecting the water bungalows & jetty to the mainland. Yes we do agree that the accommodation do look a little dated and need refurbishing, but we were too busy enjoying the crystal clear waters round Thulhagiri and there is never a dull moment with such abundant sealife & great coral reef. The ibuffet breakfast & dinner had enough selection of food - their grilled fish during dinner buffet was so fresh & delicious. All the staff (except the ladies at the Spa) were helpful & responded to our requests quickly (especially the ones at the restaurant), although they might not appear as warm as those that you might encounter in a resort with an internationally mixed group of staff. The only thing that we thought should be improved on is providing replies to guest's emails. We emailed the resort three times about their speedboat transfer timing (through their reservation email address) and even had to ask Agoda staff to help us, but all with no avail. In the end, our transit hotel at Hulhumale was the one who helped us to call them on our arrival night in Maldives. We would have given all 5 stars score to Thulhagiri if not because of this.

I have stay almost 10 hotel in Maldives this hotel is the best for those who like snorkeling. My Room 809 once you jump in to the water you can see plenty of fish. the hotel activites price is reasonable comapare to other hotel. But the restaurant in this hotel food is Soso not much choice. if you are going to booking this hotel is better book on full board (All day food included)is more for valua.

Stayed with grp of 3 more friends for 6 days and over-all it was an awesome experience Location-Superb! Only 15mins via speedboat Staff Courtesy- I give it a 9 over 10, accommodating and smiling faces.Great to have known few kababayans (Filipino) staff too Food- We took full course package (Breaky, Lunch, Dinner)- Delicious foods though nothing much of variety- please add more seafoods into the buffet Cleanliness- A New Hotel, Very clean though quiet few mosquitoes flying around at night Facilities- 7 over 10, since its new Bet alot of constructions still going on. Better know how to play billiards, volleyball so you guys will not be bored over the days. Water Sports activities we had are fun, night snorkeling, Manta expedition, Fun board ride is the best for me :) If you have lots of $$$ please maximize the motorized sports Overall 8 out of 10- No questions about the awesome water & great fishes encounter specially the Sharks close encounter- Amazing Maldives! Agoda booking engines itself is excellent ! Even after I need to change my booking date and couldn't get it done on my original booking, Agoda still refund my administration fees after I cancelled my original booking and booked another hotel in Maldives with Agoda. The arrangement between Agoda and the hotel also are excellent. There was some miscommunication on my arrival date which resulted that I have to spent my time at the airport from 0100hrs until 0800hrs, I'm still satisfied with way the agent at the airport handled me after I approached them after the open the booth at 0800hrs in the morning. When the boat were approching Kurumba, I already amazed with what I've seen. The view was so amazing ! The Guest Relations Officer also was very friendly when welcoming us to Kurumba. While waiting to complete the registration, we we served with the welcoming drinks in a very cosy waiting lounge. I will definately return to Kurumba again, and this time, with all my kids ! This was our first trip to Maldives (one week at the beginning of August). We split our stay between Vista-2nd floor facing the beach & water villa. I give this hotel a 5-star! If you have a FB or all-inclusive they provide free snorkeling tour to a nearby reef daily. We saw plenty of fish, stingrays and even shark from far away. Bring mask and fins for snorkeling, otherwise you can rent it at the dive center. Staff is very friendly, accommodative, and eager to answer all questions. Prices are reasonable, i. e. $8-10 for cocktails and mixed drinks. During off-season they offer 15% discount on drinks. Food selection was also abundant. They clean your room twice a day, and constantly refill water. It was great to observe that they are very environmentally conscious. Staff also puts a lot of effort into coral gardening and reef restoration. It is also nice that hotel is far away from the capital. Sometimes you feel like you have an island solely to yourself.

Honestly review: If one day i have a chance to visit Maldives, its mean i will stay at Addaran. Yes! What a beautiful place to stay, what a good service from all of the staff. And i cant forgot what Adaaran Rannalhi Resort to us, yes! They give us free upgrading room and stay at Addaran Vadoo, with all totally FREE. I can't do more for reply all kindness of Addaran club, but what i can do is only recommend to all of my family, my friend and others who interested to visit Maldives, i automatically suggest them to stay at Addaran club! Even i already share this at my social media. Once again, thanks Addaran club for unforgettable moment, its all mean a lot for us. With love💚

I have been looking up on Agoda for hotels deals for quite sometime, and when me and my wife decided it was time to take a trip, we could'nt think of any other better place then Maldives. 4 years back we stayed at Adaaran Club Rannalhi for 3 nights. Both of us were in love with the place so much, that we made a pact, that we will plan a visit in a couple of years. We went in for a all inclusive deal through Agoda, and boy we were happy that we went in for all inclusive instead of plain room booking. All inclusive deal provides you breakfast, morning snacks, lunch, evening tea/coffee, dinner and late night snacks with unlimited pre listed alcohol and non alcohol beverages available at their different bars located on the resort. On Arrival at the resort we were welcomed by Sunder & Figo. Figo took us on a tour of the resort in his enviornment friendly mini car (buggy). Resort staff are courteous and attend to all our requests. The Buffet spread is descent, not great. Lot of water sport activity to do around the resort. One of the memorable moment will be that we had to check out of the room at 12 PM and our flight was in the evening at 9 PM, the resort staff had given us a green colored wrist band to wear, which showed we were in the all inclusive group. Even after checkout they let us wear the band and enjoy the resorts hospitality. We made the best use of time. We were in the pool for almost 2.5 hours, gulped beer and cocktails. All in all one of our best trips out of India... looking forward to 2018-19... another pact made... another place to visit in beautiful Maldives. Thank you Adaaran and Agoda

If you're reading this review...you should know you're considering one of the most beautiful resorts in the entire world. There are so many places to begin...but you should feel beyond confident in booking Anantara. You have access to Veli (free pontoon boat goes back and forth every 10 minutes.) . When speaking to a ton of the employees at the resort, they all talk about how Anantara Dhigu has the nicest lagoon out of any of the resorts they have worked at or seen in the Maldives. It truly is special and a place out of this world. The feedback here is for management, and in should no way at all precent you from booking....this is easily the best place i've EVER stayed and I travel all over the world, all the time. Management should provide each villa with 2 bicycles, instead of you having to steal from other peoples or stressing about having a bike. There are never any on any rack (and I was there for 2 full weeks). Management should also not charge $12 for every water.

It's a very small island but that's what I want. For sure you have to do your homework to compare all the islands. I spent two days on the research '' Maldives definitely has the most amazing beach and water. But I heard Angaga is the great place for diving. Too bad that I snorkel but not dive, and during my stay, there were tons of jelly fish floating around. My friend got bite (Hurts!!!). Buffet there is not bad. they offered some different dishes day from day. Staff is nice and helpful. The WiFi has problems. it didn't work sometimes and expensive too. If you are the "can't live without the internet" kind person, you should go find another island. If you just want to find a quiet and nice place to clean your mind and relax, it is the island for you. The seaplane took us around 30 mins from Male. I like that. I think it worth it. (around $300/person for round trip) Kinda expensive too, but you paid a quietness, right? I wouldn't be happy if I saw bouches of people hanging around the island during my relaxing vacation. Hotel room is very nice. Strongly recommended the water house instead of the beach house. I slept on the deck in the first half of night (had to go inside because it was too cold to stay out) It would be a waste that you didn't sleep under the stars or fell asleep with the breeze or lisent to the waves. Anyway, I definitely will go back to Maldives. Honeymoon destination for sure. No brainer!!

I did not like the food so much. But seems this is in all Maldives Staff was amazing best staff I've ever seen. You feel like you are with your family Did not like that no AC in hall and between rooms View was amazing For whom want to have cheap vacation in Maldives you can take this hotel and go to near islands and resorts for 100_150 dollar for day use its better than you stay in one resort and pay 700 dollar per night. Island is very cheap food drinks you can buy any where with good prices

The Maldives are absolutely incredible. The most romantic place we have ever been and we could not have picked a better hotel to stay in. From the moment we arrived at the airport we were treated like royalty with excellent, friendly service throughout our entire stay. The hotel is one of the nicest in the Maldives and the public areas such as the pool, beach, bars and restaurant are top notch and impeccably maintained every day. The beach always has fresh towels, the restaurants always have friendly waiters, the dive center will gladly lend you top of the line snorkeling gear free of charge and if you pick up the phone a fresh bucket of ice will be delivered to your room swiftly. We stayed in an over water villa with a pool (after receiving a generous upgrade that we did not dream of) and the room was even more stunning than the online photos. Everything is brand new, the room is cleaned twice a day and even the private pool gets cleaned daily so that it always looks so refreshingly inviting. The main restaurant where breakfast and dinner were served had more staff than guests so we never had to wait for anything. The buffet was arranged beautifully with 10-15 hot dishes every Breakfast and Dinner, cold dishes, a salad bar, yogurt bar fruit bar and omelette station in the mornings, Desert bar and ice cream bar in the evenings and many more thing I can't remember. Best of all, even though the island was relatively full, we never felt like there were more than a few other people staying there and we kept remarking that the place is so quiet and peaceful, like our own private island. Don't miss your chance to stay at this unbelievable retreat!!!!

If you're headed to Maldives, you should be willing and prepared to spend a little more than usual. Constance Halaveli isn't cheap, but in my opinion worth every cent. ROOMS - exactly like you see in the pictures - spacious, comfortable, luxurious and with a lovely plunge pool and direct access to the ocean (chest-high water). A few pleasant surprises as well - the TV was attached to a Mac, with a wireless keyboard and mouse, web browsers, iPod dock and the usual TV channels. The room was also stocked with the little things you may need to enjoy the beach and ocean: life vests, raincoats, even a useful beach tote. DINING - make sure you go on a half-board basis, meaning breakfast and dinner buffets are included (excluding drinks). Breakfast is the usual international spread, but dinner is really something to shout about. It's a different theme every night, and in the 5 nights I was there, I enjoyed (in order) seafood, Italian, Japanese, Middle-Eastern and European. I skipped the last one to try one of the restaurants, which was great too. ACTIVITIES - Some are free (e.g. kayaking and pedal boating), but the rest (fishing, sunset cruise, snorkeling trips etc) come at a pretty steep cost. There are different activities every day and night, both free and charged. Free ones include movie screenings on the beach, yoga by the sea, and volleyball matches. SERVICE - Attentive, friendly, and helpful. There's an international line-up of staff ready to assist guests from every country in their own language, which I'm sure the many non-English-fluent guests greatly appreciated. OVERALL - If you're going to Maldives, go for the "full" experience. This means opting for a water villa (unless you have young children - it might be dangerous) in the best hotel you can afford. And Constance Halaveli is surely one of the best.

The resort is an absolute paradise! We stayed at their Water Villa with pool. When you arrive at this island you will really feel the warmth welcome of their staffs. Mr. Ahmed really made sure that we got everything we need. Their water villa with pool is perfect! The housekeeping makes sure that the villa is always clean. Our only suggestion is for them to install a doorbell in their villas because you won’t be able to hear if someone is knocking once you’re outside swimming by the pool. As for their food, they have a great selection and it was all good. They even prepared a romantic table set-up for us to celebrate our anniversary dinner. Their staffs are very accomadating and friendly. They always make sure that all their guests are well taken care of. Kudafushi is a sure bliss! It has always been our dream to visit the Maldives and Kudafushi didn’t disappoint our Maldivian experience. Kudafushi made our 8th wedding anniversary a very memorable one. Hoping to visit this island again someday.

Third time went to Maldives, the house reef of this hotel is the best one ,we can see the coral since we no need to swim so far away.Nice fish with big and small size. We should protect coral ,don't touch or step on its as these is the house of most of sea animals and can protect the island from big wave. Lots of choice in breakfast and dinner, half and half for Western and Chinese Style ,not much spicy food provided. Suggest bring some of snack after snorkeling, you will feel hungry after going out. Go to the beach at night,you will see something special in the sea. Don't forget to bring tooth brush, toothpaste , conditioner, slipper as those things not be provided in the room. Bring some drinks as there are 2 bottle of water ,250ml,are provided everyday. Can boil water in the room as there is electronic thomas in the room. They gave us a birthday cake as my husband birthday,we felt surprise when they knock the door. Don't have any expectation for the staff in front desk and waiter in the restaurant is better. I gave tips to the cook as they are really harsh and nice to the guest in the island.

This was our second visit to Maldives. First time we have visited bigger resort, and this time we have decide to try Fushifaru. Everything was great, event better then first time. Sunset Beach Pool vila is perfect, with modern equipment and furniture. Staff is polite and friendly. Island is 40min away from Male with sea plane. Beach is very good. Pros: - New resort with modern equipment - Great staff - Good beach - Nice pool - Good options for water sports - Free water, coffee and tea in rooms - Bathrooms are state of art, you will enjoy in every second - Free alcohol during dinner time in restaurant Cons: - Food - it should be better. Chefs are doing they best, but diversity and quality of food must be on higher level for 5 star resort. - There are traces of construction works on island and in water. - A little bit overpriced Tip: if you booked just breakfast, email resort in front to take a dinner as well, for us it was $49 per person per day and it is best option.

our stay at angsana was definitely worth it. i actually considered booking at another resort that has mostly 'sand'. i checked out angsana velaveru and saw with the aerial shots that it had more corrals than the other resort we were considering. i'm a beach person and really would like to lounge in the soft sand. however, some friends told me there would not be much fish to see without corrals..to our delight, angsana as would most of the resorts in the maldives, was paradise at first sight. it must be the long travel time it took before getting there, but really, our stay made us feel that we were in paradise..with little bunnies and birds fluttering about during breakfast.. it's a fairly small island compared to other resorts, but was really convenient. you call walk around the island maybe in an hour or less, and kayak around it in 30 minutes..half of the island had fine sand, while the other half was facing corrals. so i guess we got the best of both. i don't know with other resorts, but angsana has free daily snorkeling trips (2x a day) and free complimentary yoga sessions (daily). we never expected to enjoy snorkeling so much that we joined the daily trip and even booked for night snorkeling.. getting the pool villa was great. after heading to the beach, we jump into the cold pool and wash off the seawater from our suits.it's like a giant bathtub.you also get an outdoor shower, and get to enjoy bathing outside without ever worrying about anyone might be peeping. the toilet is also open air (not enclosed, though connected to the room), so it doesnt smell when you know what. after 3 nights staying in a deluxe beachfront pool villa, we moved to the premiere in ocean villa..the feel was different. it was grand and relaxed at the same time. the pool was definitely great compared to the photos of other more posh resorts. for the price, i'd say my stay at angsana was worth it. i'm truly looking forward to anther trip to the maldives if the budget pe

First time maldives and I loved this place. This place started operations from Jan 2018 and the place is excellent and brand new. Stayed in over water villa and the view is breath-taking. I booked fullboard package which includes breakfast+lunch+dinner+selected beverage(alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink) and I wish they could improve their food varieties(repeated food items at times). Also, I chose the domestic transfer(domestic airplane and speed boat) which literally took 6 hours extra to reach the resort from Male international airport. I personally recommend sea plane transfer. Marco from water sports is amazing and friendly. So is Maria who took us to the Manta Lagoon from the dive center. Excellent and friendly staff.
