The hotel is very modern and nice. Our deluxe rooms with direct access to the swimming pool were large and beautiful. The Acqua di Parma products is a nice touch. The hotel is a bit disorganised. We had some issues at the time of booking, which took a few emails to resolve. The very expensive New Year's eve gala was nice but not worth the €150 per person. We asked for ...

The best choice in our visit to Morocco, I recomened this hotel, it has every thing oyu need ,location is perfect right on the beach ,nice walk it's busy in the night ,the weather is refreshing the hotel is near the city center easy to reach any where parking is alwaysavailable.

Very spectacular hotel for travelers who are looking forward to stay in a luxury Hotel in Marrakesh with a reasonable value of money. We loved the staff because they were very helpful when we didn't like the first room when we checked in, they changed it right away when we requested. It has a very marvelous Islamic themed, the hotel garden is very very very nice. We e...

We stayed for 6 nights in december ,recieved a warm welcome from the Staff ,we had to wait over 2 hours to get a room but the room was beautiful ,we had a double and it was perfect for us . 5 stars in Marrakech is nowhere near 5 stars in europe but it was a definite 4 stars and we were Happy with that . Staff were polite and friendly at all times . Perfect location...

By far my best experience in Marrakech, and I've been three times! The manager of the hotel was so unbelievably warm and inviting during our trip - it felt like she was an extension of the family and really made the experience for us! Would highly recommend.

I feel very safe inside the hotel after walking through noisy and crazy medina. The atmosphere made me feel like home. I like the open courtyard of the hotel and the friendliness of the hotel owner -salma. She gave me clear direction of how to explore Marakech. The hotel is hidden in the small ally as indicated by name. I had to walk past the medina and local offerin...

I think the location is just too far from the mall/train station (about 5 min (no traffic) - 10 min w/ traffic). You can get a taxi though for just 10MAD/per person. There are no restaurants nearby except the hotel's room service/buffet offer/restaurant. Despite the location we still enjoy the pool, the staff were helpful. Room service food wasn't bad :) but if you are...

The hotel is a good base towards the other lovely cities in Morocco. It's a business/budget hotel, so don't expect all amenities to be present. However, staff were friendly and tried their very best to meet our needs. Your view is the busy streets of Casablanca and the Casa Port Station. Their restaurant is acceptable with reasonably priced meals. Stayed here for 2 nig...

A really delightful, warm and welcoming hotel just off Rue Mohammed Fifth, in the middle of Gueliz, a stone's throw from Mc Donalds! I had a beautiful, very elegant, warm room on the second floor overlooking the street, and an exceeding comfortable double bed all to myself. There is a receptionist who speaks good English, and an attentive Customer Relations Manager. I ...

We loved it! My boyfriend wanted to surf around, so we had a car and were able to do trips. The hotel itself was very good with the own bar - you won´t find the place to drink or buy alcohol in 50 km distance, so that was good:) Also they have the ATM machine, also not available in the nearest town. If you go out for dinner outside, you need the car, the closest place ...

Hotel Rose Meryem surpassed our expectations. We wanted to live in a typical Moroccan Riad mostly to get a good contact with other guests and a host family. And we directly felt welcomed by the family. Zeyneb and Rabiya were there to welcome us and show us around. We got 2 rums on the first flor overlooking the patio. Breakfast was very good; especially the honey panca...

We were at Novotel for three nights. Our visit was made easy, relaxing and memorable because of our stay at Novotel Marrakech. Perfect location within 15 minutes you can be any where, like Airport, Menara Garden, Manera Mall, Katoubia Mosque and Jema ul Fana. Hop on Hop off bus stop was just outside the hotel. Staff was tooooooooooo good especially Mehdi, he made us fe...

Staff is very helpful. Special attributes to Mr. Youness of the reception. There is another Hilton (without swimming pool) near to this one. They are two different hotels. Make sure you book this one. The other one is horrible and has a lot of bad reveals. Remember the one with swimming pool is the good Hilton in Tangier.

Great stay overall but only issue was the expensive massages were always shorter than the time charged. The 50min massages were around 40 mins and the 25min one was actually under 20mins. Very annoying. The clock in the massage room was always around 5mins plus already before we even started the massages. I should have asked them to reset but felt too embarrassed to do...

When we arrived we were given mint tea on arrival and had people greet us as soon as we got out the taxi they looked after our bags. They gave us a free upgrade to a pool view. The rooms were very nice and modern and very cleaned very well every day. I think the service from the staff was great they were so happy to help you with anything you needed.

It was good, but I'd give it four, not five, stars. The bed was lumpy, service was friendly but not always easy to find, and there were renos happening right outside my room, so I had to keep the drapes shut. The hotel is beautiful and is a destination itself.

Very nice building, yet in need of some modernisation and renovation. Furniture gets old and shabby, but I’m sure 20 years ago it was a great hotel. Nothing provided, not even bottle of complimentary water, let alone tea or coffe or an electric kettle. One old towel for two people. Safe box not in working order ... but all that seems to be completely acceptable by loca...

This is like an Oasis in Marrakech, got great air conditioning inside which is what u need in Marrakech in july!!! Loved the decor that gives you a Moroccan vibe as oppose to four seasons that was more modern, the room was nice, spacious and got a good ac going on. staff were nice, didn't enjoy the breakfast just because it was more of a local style than full english o...

We have stayed there 4 nights. For the really fair and cheap price we payed we are happy with the hotel. The rooms are already a bit older but everything is clean. The cleaners are all very friendly to us and also the reception, they made our bookings for some trips we had and also reservations for the restaurants we have been. The bar is small but nice and we had even...

My wife and I had booked lots of hotels/resorts for our recent 3 week honeymoon holiday. Admittingely I was nervous about most of our destinations -- Riad Zolah was the exception to the fact. I was amazed to find such a fantastic deal for Zolah on Agoda.com -- the reviews on every travel site are amazing. Deservingly so, Fatima, Abdul and the entire staff at Zolah trea...
Cheap places to stay in Morocco

Yeah, that was perfect evening in Kif-Kif, I didn't laught so much before) Despite of turnover of tourists (like everywhere), I found here many interesting people, that were like my family. Staff was very nice and funny, special thanks to Ashraf, who made us feel at home! They also arranged me trip from Marrakesh to Sahara desert. Place is nice as well, cozy old buildi...

The staff is awesome! Simo is the manager and is by far the greatest host we had in Morocco. He sat with us and gave us a map and explained all there is to know around the medina. We stayed for 3 days and he showed us around when needed. There is also Mouhcine who helps around and he was very helpful. He took us around the medina, cooked tajine for us and made our tri...

Very friendly staff who helped organised an excursion for us (though do try and haggle as they make commission) to Merzuga and the Sahara which was amazing. Very close to fez blue gate and allows you to explore the medina, the room had air conditioning which was great. Overall 4/5

Everything is good. Staff are nice. Room and bathroom are tidy and clean. Good location. But be cautious that if you need to put your luggage in the hostel after you check-out, you need to pay for 10 DH. It is not a large amount of money, but they should have told us when we arrived and it was the first and only time that I have been charged for this type of fee.

My best stay while I was in Morocco for sure. Mohammed was very nice, he pick me up at the bus station and took me to the hotel by his bike. The room was clean and had enough facility. The toilet was also fine. Mohamed makes me feel comfortable and very helpful

I arrived very early around 8am. Although I couldn't check in yet, the staff was nice to let me have a much-needed shower. buffet breakfast is awesome. the dinner is also the best I had in Morocco. The chicken tajine is soooo soft unlike the ones I had outside. (you have to pay but it's worth it! !) a short bus ride from the bus/train station. The hostel is just out...

The hostel is very clean. I booked a bunk bed in a female dorm but was the only one there so had the room and bathroom all to myself for the price of a dorm room. The bathroom and toilet are clean and well-maintained. The terrace where I had breakfast was ok. There’s not really a good view from there but the breeze was nice. The receptionist should smile more to be mor...

d sweets, given all the information about the area, things to do, places to see, followed by being shown your room and amenities. The entire Riad is beautiful, colourful and traditional. Great location and very good security. I stayed in the dorm room which sleeps 8, it was spacious and comfortable, though there is not a power socket at every bed, there are more than ...

We had a very nice stay at Dar Naima. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The price was excellent value. Although there are not many frills, the room was very nicely decorated with a great Berber carpet and had an incredible view over the Fes medina. Breakfast was one of the better hotel breakfasts, with a hot tajine of fried eggs accompanying some traditional Moro...

The hostel is in the medina and you can access to any attracting spots quite soon. The hostel is simple and good place for taking a rest without special facilities, but it is very awesome for this price. The thing is it costs you only this price, and you will find the place is comfortable and warm, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Also, the Moroccan breakfa...

Moundir and Ahmed provided excellent service and advice. Location easy to access (look up on the walls of the Médina and follow the signs-ask shopkeepers the first trip) and convenient. Lots of shops, food, donkeys along the way. The room was comfortable and nice shower, great aircon. Lounge/breakfast room beautifully decorated. Nice breakfast and good coffee prov...

Staff were very friendly. Communication was good. I arranged a ride to and from airport. It’s close to many things and easy to navigate Medina with map or google maps on phone. Neighborhood seemed safe enough, and it’s not far from good food! Breakfast comes with the booking! When walking Médina, I suggest keeping to yourself, and learn to say la shock run = no thank y...

no visit in Morocco would be complete without visiting the sunset surfhouse, and enjoying probably the best dinner you can have. the vibe in the hostel is great and layback, so is the owner Abdoul, who will do everything possible to make your stay an incredible experience.

This hostel has by far the nicest rooms and decoration, it's all very cosy! Also the rooftop is amazing and a nice place to hang out. Common bathrooms were relatively clean and the kitchen is well-equipped. The negative thing is the location: Tamraght is a huge construction site. You can walk to the beach (10 min by foot) but apart from surfers it's a bit deserted and ...

The room is clean :). The food is good :). The reception, Mr. Mustapha, was helpful and speaks good English. My room was number 8 (a corner room and has 2 sides windows that I like) but faces the orchard and the road so it can be a bit noisy. Room 9 was also a corner room and faces the orchard, 2 sides windows and a gentle bubbling stream - an ideal room.

The staff try the best to make you feel at ease, the building is immaculate and spotless. The hotel is a bit far out but it's quiet if you appreciate that. There is alot of construction going on around the hotel but nothing that majorly affects your stay. The staff are very well spoken and endeavour their best to meet your needs. Overall enjoyed my stay here and would...

We arrived in Marrakesh at about 9pm - not recommended, as trying to get luggage to a riad (most are not accesible by taxi) at peak time is not fun. When we arrived we had great difficulty trying to work out where our riad was. This is not necessarily a problem limited to Riad Lila as Marrakesh in general is very busy and most market areas do not cater for taxis. Ho...

Lighting in corridor is a serious Safety Hazard! The drainage in the bathrooms in rooms is not kept well, very stale musty smell, have to keep windows open. They've opt for cheap leds which barely light up anything. The hotel build and facilities are very nice but the above really ruin the experience. If these issues can be corrected i could recommend and i have no do...

We had a great stay in this Riad. It is everything we expected a Riad to be with lovely open courtyard, great rooms and very friendly staff who were very helpful. We arranged an airport pick-up which worked well. We had dinner in house one night which was probably the best meal we had in Morocco - big helpings and very well presented. We would highly recommend this...

This hotel is brilliant for couples. I decided to go here in January so it was a bit quiet. I would definitely recommend hiring a car if you are staying here as you may need to drive out in the evening to the local places for some nice food. The hotel facilities here are great and the staff are really nice. They also speak many languages!!!

Simple necessities not available ie an iron,no fridge in the room, no adaptors available so had to spend £6 to buy 2 from local shop so can charge mobiles daily. Not a great variety for breakfast either.Wifi dropped constantly and there was no remote to the TV ,bath was awful state, the phone to call reception did not work so due to all this we moved from 4th to 1st f...

Nice boutique (small) hotel with very polite and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Breakfasts (included) were excellent. Other food/ drink was limited and very expensive - I bought some water for my room from a nearby supermarket (they didn’t like that but were ok with it). The hotel is a little out of the way from the centre of town but there are plenty of taxis available ...

the hotel room was large enough to be comfortable, with modern furnishings and quite clean. the hotel staff were quite accommodating, for example in finding an adapter for me to use with my u.s. computer plug. the limited buffet breakfast seemed expensive at over u.s. or dirhams. the elevator was under repair and could only be sent to a floor from inside the elevator,...

This is a lovely, well run riad. My room was spacious, clean and even had a desk. All good. The only problem is that I booked it thinking it was in Rabat. It is not. It is in a city called, Sale, which is over the river from Rabat but runs 20-30 kms down the coast. When I found out it was not in Rabat, I tried to cancel, the owners refused. The place was too far from R...

The hotel is located about 5 min walk from the beach but it is a steep way, so lots of stairs on the way back. It is the highest hotel in the city, so serves as a very good orientation point. There are 3 separate swimmng pools with different depths, good for swimming and for kids, depending on the needs. Quite good breakfast was served.

The only concern I have is: During my reservation, I explicitly mentioned that I require 2 single beds. Upon checking in, we see a queen size bed. We asked the guest relations gentleman that this is not what we requested for and we need this changed. He asked us to wait for a few minutes and will make the change. We then went to sit by the pool and about 45 mins late...

I booked two nights at Laaroussa after just 10 minutes of hotel research for Fez because of its glowing reviews. No regrets! And I shall add another. Friendly staff Rajae, Karim, Anwar and Mr Porter - they were ever so helpful. Fatima, the chef - oh my, best meal I had in Morocco for sure. I don’t like lamb and I finished every bit of her lamb tagine. The riad is gorge...

Staying at the Meridien N'Fis was an absolute delight for me and my entire family (3 adult children). Although there are many charming Riyads in Marrakech, the Meridien is ideal in terms of offering a resort-like atmosphere. The only minor negative point would be the difficulty in getting a "big" taxi outside the hotel. I can definitely recommend this hotel for busines...

Have used this hotel 3 times already and I keep going back simply because its great. Besides the spacious rooms it is also a great place to go back to after a hot day of meetings where you can chill out at the pool or the beautiful garden. Restaurants are pretty good too.

The hotel has lots of staff always willing to help! The exterior is of a high standard, clean & contemporary, the rooms were clean however the upkeep like bubbling walls & dirty cushions on the balcony did let it down slightly. Shuttle to the medina daily every hour is helpful, small area to purchase memorabilia & a few homely restaurants. Tax charges at the end of the...

by far the best 5 star facility we saw in the area, and certainly of the highest standard for maroc. perfect location: near the beach (<5 min walk) but without the crowds, noise or wind. tranquil and private. unfailingly remarkable service at all levels. excellent in-house dining options for enough variety for a short stay. can't speak to the demi or full pe...

We moved to the Berbere Palace after a few days in Le Palais De Arts to take advantage of the pool facilities (largest hotel / best pool in Quarzazate to my knowledge - hotel is something of a local landmark) but sadly it rained. Our suite was clean, comfortable and very large, but all of the decor was pretty dated throughout the hotel (bathrooms especially) although n...

Our stay was superb in a hotel converted from a palace. The most wonderful moment was being hosted by the owner, Mr Driss & his family, during our last night. The famous Moroccan hospitality was displayed by all the staff in their service in every room in the hotel. The breakfasts were excellent, diverse range of foods. Our dinner on the terrace was divine. The signa...

Good location. Onsite beach. Breakfast has a lot of choices for sweet pastries but food is a let down. Sausages were gone and not replenished when we were having breakfast. They have a buffet dinner 350 Morocco dirhams per person which is not worth it at all. Food on the beach is restricted to club sandwich and pizzas. No alcoholic drinks on beachside however available...

Our experience at the Riad Viva was exceptional from the moment we arrived until the point we had to leave. The service and overall experience was incredible. Upon our arrival at the airport the Riad Viva had organized a warm welcome from a local taxi service and they escorted us. The hotel is embedded in an authentic local neighborhood. Initially we weren’t sure about...

We were on our honeymoon...and a friend recommended this hotel. After 18 days of travelling, his is by far the best hotel I have ever used. The staff are warm and accommodating. The room, garden view, ad it's own courtyard. The pool was welcomed after many hot days travelling and the bed was the best king sized bed ever. The staff even let us have a extra long check ou...

We really enjoyed our stay at the golden camp. We met our host at the merzouga cafe, it was very easy to find. From there we paid 25 Euros each to take a camel to our camp, this was a 2-hour ride and so much fun. The room was gorgeous, spacious and the water was very hot in the shower. The rooms have no air conditioning. Dinner was amazing and they catered to my vegeta...
