I stayed here for 3 nights while finishing up some work for a consultancy in Maputo. What a world away. The place is flawless, excellent everything. The breeze off the ocean is absolutely priceless and I left my windows open all day and night. The diving was great. Food and staff fantastic. Oh, and I got all my work done on time :) I will do my best to come back ...

Disappointed with the room - dark & dingy. Bed very uncomfortable, with cockroaches in the shower and ?rat droppings around the sink. We were going to let this slide as we only had a couple of days here but the rusted shower broke and wouldn't turn off. We had to move room as they couldn't fix it. This was the final straw for us, especially given the price. Management ...

It was good, but this hotel is a good dis...

This is an excellent hotel in Maputo. The cleanliness is great and the WiFi connection works fine inside the room. The official rating is 3 star, but I think that it is not far from a 4 star rating, the hotel is that good. The restaurant is excellent, the breakfast choices could be a little more versatile. There is a 10 minutes walk from the hotel location to an inters...

One particular staff, a lady by the name of Berta, constantly asked for bribes throughout our stay at the hotel. From me, she asked for "tips" if she extended our stay at the hotel, from my friends, she asked for their iPhone case, lunch money etc. If we can't trust the staff at hotel, it gives guests little faith on the safety of our personal belongings in our rooms. ...

From the moment I walked in I knew I would be happy there. I had to spend quite a lot of time working in the guesthouse and my room was just lovely. It was room 7, a king size room that was the last one available but in the end I didn't regret the expense - it was well worth the extra and I had a lovely large desk to work at. But it was equally great sitting outside i...

Host blamed Agoda for incorrect pictures. I needed an upgrade, when i expressed my disappointment. This was a bit better. I was charged USD93 for the shack- total rip-off and expected the upgrade to be at same price but it wasnt. This property was disappointing to the extent that I would request a refund...because it was misleading

This is a very nice hotel with a great view. The architecture is superb. I would easily give it a 5 star except for a few minor things. The shower drain was very slow. We stayed 1 night en route from Nampula to Dar es Salaam (flight from Pemba). Since this was listed as a three star hotel we were pleasantly surprised at the size of the rooms. The place was clean and bright with some of the best air conditioning in all of Mozambique. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfy. The location was a short walk from downtown and right on the water. On the downside, the restaurant was lacking in ambiance and the staff were a bit hit and miss. Overall, a nice place and would definitely go back.

This was my 4th stay at this hotel and my overall experience was very good.
