It's the best hotel we ever stayed in New Zealand. Beautiful hotel, good location, professional staffs. The reception is 24 hrs we had no problem checking in after dinner time. They even upgrade us from a queen room to a one bedroom suite! We felt like we are visiting a show room. The suite is a dual key, double storey unit. There is a bath tub, a professional washing machine (can wash and dry wool clothing), a comfy bed, a big wardrobe, a kitchen with kitchen island, a living room and a balcony with stunning view!

The location of the hotel is incredible. Just one corner away from the Auckland tower, a large grocery store where u can buy necessities including food souvenirs like chocolate at affordable prices. It even has a souvenir shop right beside the entrance. The lady there was awesome and most of the items are reasonably priced. There was one wooden carving that was a few dollars more expensive compared to a commercial shop we found earlier and when I asked for a discount, she gave it for a few dollars cheaper plus without asking her she gave me a free bag of sweets as I bought a lot of souvenirs. The hotel itself was very reasonably priced. For a 2 bedroom suite, it was about the same price of my earlier hotel which was outside of the city and only had 1 bedroom. My suggestion is to book early. We had no choice but to get the suite as we booked last minute. Still, the price was cheaper than other hotels' 1-bedroom units. All the staff were nice and friendly. The rooms were very clean. I can't really complain much. I almost did not get this hotel due to its Low price. Thought it would be no good because it's cheap. I was very pleasantly surprised

The hotel provided a welcoming base for our first 2 nights stay in New Zealand. The furnishings were clean but rather dated - the wardrobe door had obviously been repaired before but was broken off its hinges again, and the drawers needed minor carpentry to help them fit properly, both DIY jobs which could easily have been remedied. We enjoyed the restaurant both for breakfast (continental) which had all the choices you could wish for, and the evening meal which was presented very attractively. All in all, a hotel we were pleased to have used.

After a long multi-stop trip around both islands of New Zealand I wanted to stay somewhere comfortable with a hint of luxury and some style for our final days in the country. After a lot of searching I settled on the Naumi due to the impressive styling of the lobby and rooms, the location near to the airport was also very useful for us. Upon arrival we were immediately impressed, the decor and interior design is really impressive for a hotel (especially in NZ where many seem a bit bland) and the staff were very efficient and welcoming. Our room was large, very comfortable and had an excellent shower and bath. It was all of a high quality, clean and well designed. The free drinks and snacks in the mini bar was a nice touch and the breakfast offered an impressive selection, good quality and well cooked. I would happily recommend to all and when we return to the area in the future we will definitely look to stay at the Naumi again.

It was superb, the room was very nice and spacious. The bed is very comfortable, one of the best we had enjoyed in New Zealand. And you can also enjoy amazing sunset view by the lake, just in front of your room, with Remarkables Mountains as the backdrop, simply beautiful. The staffs were very professional and informative. However, the breakfast was a bit disappointing in terms of taste.

we stayed here for 2 nights and it was the best value for money that we've had in new zealand. the room is very modern and has all of the essentials that you want from an apartment. the beds are super comfy and the whole apartment was very clean. the staff were also very helpful. the location is also very convenient for visiting all of the city centre attractions and the bus stop for the airport shuttle is a 5min walk away.

Our stay at Mt Cook Lodge and Motels was amongst the best of our month-long visit to New Zealand. The weather was fantastic which meant we were able to enjoy the stunning scenery and surroundings from the comfort of our family apartment. The family apartment was ideal for us as two friends travelling together and everything was excellent. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Great choice of food options for such a small place. The only slight downside was the WiFi which was very limited, possibly not surprising given the location. I can not recommend this highly enough, other than to say that our two night stay was barely enough. We could have had a much longer stay very happily. However, that might not have been the case had the weather not been as good as it was. Highly recommend this!

This hotel is beyond perfection.. i have come to visit south island of new zealand for it is well known for its beauty..and this hotel shows this new zealand reputation.. the view from our room was beautiful , facing the lake and snowy mountains.. and all the staff were friendly and helping me with everything needed.. and guess what? Even all the staff (woman 😅) were all beautiful and made me hard to concentrate when they were checking me in and out and explaining things about my room.. thus, when you come to queenstown, do stay at this hotel to see and experience the beauty of southern island of new zealand, both the nature and the people..

We loved the environment of the hotel. The atmosphere of the place is young and modern. Our room was very spacious and confortable. It had a living room, a kitchen, bathroom, main room and a small room with an extra bed. We also loved the the breakfast! Delicious breads, fruits and many other options, all free range and organic. Unfortunately we didn't have time to have dinner at the restaurant. It was our best option of stay during our 15 days in New Zealand! Definetly recommend!

I can say that Villa del Lago is the best accommodation I had during my trip across New Zealand. The 2-bedrooms lake view villa was large, completed with living room, dining area, and kitchen as well. The unit is very nice and comfortable, the rooms are clean and spacious. And the view is simply stunning! We had an unobstructed view to the lake and mountains from our balconies. The staffs are very nice and attentive. Very recommended place to stay when visiting Queenstown.

this hotel is great. it has the best heater from all other hostels when i stayed at new zealand. i stayed in the four ensuite female dorm. the room is large and sufficient for four people. the shower and toilet is separated. there is a balcony where we can hang our laundries. there is a 24h groceries store near by. it so close to the lake and to anywhere else. the internet connection is affordable and fast. the receptionists are friendly and very helpful. there is also a tour advisor in case we get confused on where to go. however, it can be a little bit noisy. the guests chat aloud in the balcony. the kitchen is too crowded and i never got to have the free dinner since it was on first come first serve basis and the food was not sufficient for all of us.

My spouse and i had the best experience in this apartment. It honestly has the best of all worlds. Value for money, Jaw dropping scenery and some of the most friendliest and most helpful staff one could come across. The apartment is situated nearby to literally everywhere. Its only a 10 minute drive from the airport and to the towns nearby. Its also nearby to lakes and other natural wonders. The room layout is excellent and its fully equipped down to the smallest kitchen equipments. Though its not as cheap as other regular hotels, its definitely worth every single cent.

Booked into the hotel for my last night in New Zealand, the first time I was there, I was given the highest floor, however the 2nd visit, I was given the 1st floor, did not expect the walls and the ceilings were so thin that I can hear a lot of foot steps from the floors above in the middle of the night till it was a bit tough for me to sleep. I think the hotel can improve in reducing the noise from floors above.

Hotel 115 is located in the center of city, 3 minutes away from a pedestrian area full of restaurants and cafes and has everything you need at a good price. The hotel is unique because it’s is part of a restoration project of Christchurch heritage light-rail. Basically, the hotel building is the old city light rail deposit, now converted to a covered shopping area with cafes, restaurants, tourist agencies and guess what... an active vintage light rail stop. Definitely something unexpected in the heart of Christchurch and a great stop for your photo memories and selfies. The comfort of the hotel is comparable to what the high end hotel chains offer and rooms are designed to give you a five star experience with high quality mattresses and linen. Bathroom are standard size and have a colorful touch. Staff is remarkable and ready to help you with your requests. Big plus is that the hotel has a big parking lot which is free after 5 pm until 9 am. The only minus is that I would improve the frigobar selection with local wines and some snacks.

this is a nice hotel with good facilities for a four star hotel in new zealand. it is located on the main street in auckland (queen street) just on the edge of the cbd. there were a good selection of resturants within walking distance and the hotel itself has a good resturant. it has good connections to and from auckland international airport with an airport express bus stop just outside the hotel front door. the room was clean and well presented. the hotel was good value and i would be happy to use it again next time i visit auckland city.

We had a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 people. This place is beautiful! It is one if the best place that we stayed out of the 2 weeks in New Zealand. I would love to stay for longer if it was possible. Haha... Toilets downstairs and upstairs is a bonus. The bathroom is so spacious just like the rooms and the living area. The kitchen had everything to cook up a good meal. Beds are very comfortable too. The washing machine and the dryer was also very useful.

our stay at peppers beacon hotel and queenstown were the highlights of our trip to new zealand, it was our first visit to new zealand and although we went during the rugby world cup to watch the rugby matches we were so glad we came to queenstown as well. as soon as we arrived we were immediately upgraded to an apartment with awesome views over the lake, it was breathtaking. the apartment was really luxurious we especially enjoyed the heated tiles in the bathroom.

Everyone was SO helpful. The staff was always able to answer our questions. They had taxis ready when we needed them, they made sure the shuttle was on time and where to eat, what to see. Nothing was too much trouble. We came in from a cruise and stored our luggage before flying out to Cairns for 4 days. Our flight back into Auckland didn't get in until midnight. There was staff there to check us in. Also we were able to store our luggage again overnight before we left to come back to the US. This took a lot of the worry away and let us focus on New Zealand.

We were so happy with our 6 day stay at The Glebe in January. We stayed in the studio room which was so comfortable and beautifully decorated. We had everything in our kitchen even a rice cooker! It was the best provisioned kitchenette we have ever stayed at. They provided you with an abundance of every amenity even down to the dish soap. The ladies who run this fabulous establishment do an amazing job at making their guests feel completely welcome and do whatever they can to action every request. It's been a long time since I have been at a hotel that always answered 'yes' to any reasonable request that you had. You are so close to everything in downtown Queenstown making it easy to grab food from the store or go out for dinner.

Unfortunately, due to extra late arrival of plane into New Zealand, we did not check-in until early hours of the morning and thus missed a dinner booking at the hotel's restaurant and had a shortened night's sleep. However, the bed was very comfy and breakfast location and breakfast itself very good. The only issue to consider for visitors is to be sure to have a good map of area, as the streets in the area of the hotel are tricky and at the late hour of the night proved a little difficult to find in our hire car, even though not all that far from the airport. A longer and better planned stay is recommended!

Stayed in Christchurch for our last night in New Zealand. Stumbled upon southwark apartments while searching for accommodation in the city. It is one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed although quite compact the room features are your essentials. Could do with better sound insulation it's never nice to be woken up but someone else's baby crying at 6am. Other notable features are fast free internet and the best tv I've ever used outside my own home even compared to luxury hotels.

The staff were very helpful and pro-active with our special room requests even before our arrival. They also would do unexpected cleaning such as putting dishes left in the sink into the automatic dishwasher for us while we were out. The only drawback was that the bedroom was small and offered no luggage rack or even space to set two large suitcases. Closet space and lack of a luggage rack or place to set two suitcases was difficult. But the view from the room was amazing for New Years Eve and the staff providing unexpected extra services made up for our suitcase space issue. We would deffinitly book a stay with them again!

Edgewater is the most beautiful hotel we stayed in New Zealand, Situated conveniently around Lake Wanaka it has one of the best facilities to vouch for. The lakeside room have specatacular view of lake and the balcony opens up into the garden area around the lake. The rooms are big and spacious with great kitchen, dining and sitting area. The service is prompt and we had the most amazing time at this hotel

Overall the hotel was good. The location was by far one of the best in Quenstown. Hotel rooms were decent with large bathrooms but age is showing. Limited television channels. There is no free wifi access except for 30 minutes in the Lobby Area every 24 hours which was very disappointing considering the prices we paid. You would have to pay otherwise. We have stayed at motels in New Zealand with free and uninterrupted wifi. Novotel should be aware by now that free wifi access is a must-have for international travelers.
