Peru hotels & accommodations

We were greeted by a very friendly porter and check-in assistant. She told us we had been upgraded to a Club Suite - marvellous! We were on the 17th floor with a good view of the city. We were given vouchers for Pisco Sours - the bar staff were very friendly. All staff in bars and restaurants spoke English very well and had excellent customer service skills. The Club l...

My family and I stayed here on the last day of our trip in Peru as a treat. The hotel room was a bit small but was very clean and with a modern feel. The gym on the 11th floor was well equipped. All of the staff members spoke good English and they are super helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations. There are a few nice restaurants right next to the hotel,...

after a very long fly, it was a nice site to see a hotel that is just 10 yards outside the terminal. no need to leave the airport to find one of the best hotels in lima, peru. the service was wonderful and the staff very helpful. it has all the amenities that their advertisement says it has. clean beds and showers, wi-fi, comfortable beds, continental breadfast, go...

this hotel is very fine. we were ushered in to a lovely sitting area, for our very early in the morning arrival, offered that awful coca tea!, and made comfortable while they sorted out our reservation. also, a nice perk is that they have a rep at the airport who seamlessly arranged a ride from the airport to the hotel.the rooms are comfortable and clean, the dining r...

It’s a new hotel and provided good breakfast. enjoy our stay. However, it is far from international airport and traffic is terrible in Lima. We had a terrible experience for going international airport and I felt it’s the staff problem. We ordered 2 taxis on 8:30am in advance and i was told they were coming in 5 minutes. We kept waiting and checking for 30 minutes and ...

The hotel has a very good location,10 min walking from city centre,we were 3 girls and had one room booked all toghether and we were really impressed with the hospitality and Cleanliness was spotless! The hotel owner is an amazing person ,he made us feel like home ,every morning waiting for us with warm sandwish, tea or coffe wich was an amazing gesture taking in count t...

I would love to give a review, since the hotel came recommended to us. But a few days before we arrived, they notified us that they were overbooked and bumped us to another hotel, which was mediocre at best. Very disappointed, particularly since we thought we had 4 guaranteed rooms.

The staff was great, hotel was quaint and fit the area, hot water was decent in the shower. Only issues we had was they did not have a crib for our 1 year old so we had to switch to another hotel. Also internet barely worked in the room, but seemed pretty good in the courtyard.

We stayed in la Posada for 3 nights and loved every minute! It is perfectly located, only 3 min walk from la plaza de armas. The staff was amongst the friendliest we've ever had in all out travels, incredibly friendly and helpful no matter what question. When they found out that we are on our honeymoon (which we didn't mention in the booking) they even got us a present...

Wonderful hotel. The rooms were cozy and roomy. There were heaters and extra blankets which made it nice. The lobby is open, lot of sunlight, very cozy. Constant coco tea available and a great breakfast. Juices, breads, fruits, French toast, fresh coffee. Only one block from the city square. Would definitely recommend for all, especially families.

The hotel is located in one of the nicer and safer locations in Peru - Miraflores - close to several good restaurants, stores, and transportation options. We had a triple room, which was huge and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was served at 6am every morning and had plenty of options for all kinds of eaters. We didn't get to take advantage of the rooftop pool but...

beautiful hotel in one of the best and most beautiful locations in Cusco. A few blocks down a beautiful cobblestone street from the main plaza. Warm and wonderful staff that went out of their way to make my stay very enjoyable. Very comfortable beds and fancy shower. Great breakfast. Highly recommended!

We arrived late at night. The check in so smooth and efficient. One of our group had to leave 4.00am next morning. Reception arranged everything. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Need an exhaust fan in bathroom and breakfast is basic. For the price it is very good for so close to the airport, maybe 10 minutes by taxi.

Perfect place in Arequipa! Close enough to main square but far enough away that it's quiet. Comfortable rooms. Clean. Extra blankets in the closet (as it was pretty cold at night when we were here). Free tea and coffee in the courtyard 24hrs a day. Beautiful grounds. Great staff! Would stay here again!

macchu picchu town is very small but this hotel is in good location near the buses up to the main event. staff here were very helpful after an initial mishap where they did not pick us up at the train station (this was pre-arranged). Rooms and facilities were good - we ate at the hotel too and it was good

With one exception, I give Rumi Punku two thumbs up. The staff was super helpful on all accounts. The airport pickup went great; some of the other reviews mentioned issues with the pickup - none here, even with flight issues and time changes. I kept in touch with them, and they were there for me. The breakfast was lovely. The rooms are wonderful. I had two separa...
Cheap places to stay in Peru

We stayed at ica adventures 2 for three nights on our trip around Peru and it was awesome! Staff is super kind and helpful. They booked sandboarding in huacachina for us and a pisco tour. Both prices were comparable, if not less than booking through a tour agency. The included breakfast was great, & the place was super clean. Guests have shared use of the kitchen on t...

What I liked most about this place is that it has really good facilities, strong and stable WiFi throughout the building, which is huge and has lots of rooms/bathrooms, and good warm showers -- this is important as it gets really chilly at night in Puno. Another thing is that they can arrange for various tours of Lake Titicaca at very good prices, and the tour I took w...

This is probably the best hostel that I have stayed in Peru so far. So cheap for the value it provided. Fast and reliable WiFi (Internet). Provided basic breakfast. Amazing staff, friendly and helpful. Full facilities, speckless clean bathrooms that are cleaned everyday, common areas are beautifully decorated and well-kept. Nice rooftop overlooking the desert and spect...

My stay was perfect. I arrived late at night and Alberto greeted my with much friendliness and explained everything to me in basic Spanish so I could understand (he also speaks perfect English). We organised the tours and everything went really smoothly. They are directly across the road from the beach, really close to the port and walking distance from the bus term...

The hostel is generally clean and quiet. Reception is friendly and will advise you where to go around. The bed and duvet are comfortable. I doze off easily and slept really good. The kitchen is complete with all the stuff you need and is a good place to meet up and hang out with fellow backpackers. Near to San Pedro Market where you can shop and grab something to eat (...

Ana’s b&b is the best place to stay in south america in our one month trip so far. Twin room was very well furnished, beds were comfortable with warm blankets. Breakfast was great, Ana prepared it at 5am in the morning on the day of trekking that we had to leave at 5:30 am. Kitchen was super clean and well equipped. Not in the town of Huaraz but then we could have qui...

Good stay and loved the pool area, pretty spot. It's low season and while I prefer chill to a crazy party this place only had about 10 ppl staying here so a little too chill and hard to meet ppl. In high season it's prob perfect. Far from town - not really walkable due to heat factor and never safe at night to walk. Dangerous to swim on this part of the beach. Decent w...

A friend and I got a private room here because of its proximity to the airport. We walked from the airport to get a sense of distance, but it wasn't an interesting walk (and taxis are cheap). The online rate was best, so they waited for me to reserve online. You also pay-as-you-go for things - no room account. It has everything you could expect from a good hostel. T...

When I booked this hostel I just wanted a place to rest near the airport as I arrived in Lima pretty late during the night, and Tupac hostel was exactly was I was looking for. Booked a private room and it was clean, good value for what I paid. Staff was very nice and helpful.

We stayed at the Marlon's House only one night but we were very happy with our room. We arrived on an early bus at 5:00 am and even though we could not check in to our room so early we were able to sleep for a few hours in their "waiting/lounge" area till our room was available. The room and beds are very clean! The location is great too and the staff was super friend...

The place is overall good - good location, usually hot water, quite good wifi and a really nice outdoor area. Why I wouldnt stay here again is the staff that seemed to be really bothered by us to be here. No smile, nothing. Fot the first two breakfasts we had pancakes and eggs. For the last one we only got old bread and had to ask for jam and butter, which we got with ...

the room was TINY and it STUNK of god knows what! I really struggled to understand how this place received such good reviews. the positives: the staff as very friendly and very helpful. they were not pushy about tours. good water pressure and hot water. the cons: the room was very small, luckily we left one of our backpacks in Lima, there was just enough room for 50...

The hostel is in a great location. A 5 minute walk to plaza de armas and a two minute walk to the start of the free walking tour. Staff were very friendly and helped us with any issues we had. We also booked a tour to the colca canyon through them which I would recommend

Overall a really nice hostel. Really chill vibe with lots of open spaces to hang out, be alone or meet new people. The staff are amazing and take great care of the place and travellers. The bathrooms are really clean and showers are great! I stayed here for close to a week and loved it. Only complaint is that the downstairs dorm can be really noisy as it’s right next ...

I really recommend this place if you are going to Huacachina! The dorms are big and clean, comfortable beds and lockers. TV area, clean showerooms, nice rooftop with a kitchen. The best part however is the rooftop restauranr! best food in town (try the sweet and spicy chicken wings, delicious), with a nice vibe and amazing view. You get 10% discount if you are staying ...

I booked female dormitory - because as I researched this is the only hostel which has female dorm, however they try to give me a mixed dorm and they said female form is full (a guy who can say only spanish) I asked other one who can speak English - A english can speaking guy says they are not offer female dorms few month ago, all rooms are now mixed. So I said "Ok then...

Antigua Casona San Blas is located in the San Blas area of Cusco in lovely restored building which oozes old world charm with central courtyards and fire pits. The staff were always helpful and on hand to assist with any query you might have and the breakfast was the best I had during my South American vacation including pancakes and French toast cooked to order or to...

i have stayed in this hotel a few times now and overall i have been very satisfied with the hotel.it is in a great location right in the heart of miraflores and just a 2 minute walk from larcomar.the staff are friendly and the cost of the room was reasonable.the breakfast was included in the price and the rooms were comfortable and clean.great place to stay for a coupl...

I stayed in 3 different hotels in Cusco during my trip. Esplendor was our last hotel and our best by far. We had just got off the Inca Trail and came back to super hot high powered showers, a clean room (literally saw the staff sweating on their hands and knees scrubbing the floor), and a hot tub. The property is super pretty and well taken care of. The staff were ver...

This is a brand new hotel built less than one year ago. The rooms are spacious, clean and well furnished and the guys who run it are simply lovely. I strongly recommend it, even if it is a bit distant from the bus station compared to other hotels. Great value for money. Don’t miss it.

very brief, we check in late coming in on the last train. we wished to go early to machu pichu for the sunrise and would return before 12 noon but hotel forced us to check out before 10am. th room was us$300 but to hold the room until our return would cost another us$ 160. a good hotel but for such a short stay we had no time to enjoy the hotel and would be better off ...

Diego Durand, from the Hotel's Concierge, helped me plan my trip two weeks before I arrived. He answered promptly and have been the most helpful in my trip. I would not have had such a great experience in Peru if not for him. Value for money: It's a bargain for everything I got from this hotel -- it was clean, the facilities are good, the staff is amazingly useful and...

Pleasant hotel, breakfast included, close to Miraflores centre and ocean. The only uncomfortable thing is shower temperature was changing very fast hot to cold and back. The window opening is huge, be careful if you are with kids. Overall, a very nice hotel.

The hotel was in walking distance from parks, beaches and shopping areas. It was situated in a one-way street with not too much traffic and neighbour to a larger grocery store. Good as you do not need to buy expensive water or beer from the private bar in the hotel room. The hotel has a private car to take you to and from the airport but it is almost 100% more expensive...

Nice little hotel. Great staff. The reception snuk us in to check in quickly before a large group of loud North Americans could hog the lobby. The hotel kept our suitcases for 3 days while we went to Machu Picchu even though we were there for only one night. Great view of Cusco from our room and fantastic buffet breakfast.

Probably the best hotel in Puno. Staff and facilities are great. Rooms have everything one may need. Our request to change the room for a different view was promptly fulfilled. Hotel is a little away from town but taxis are easy to get and cheap. Rooms are somewhat on the smaller side but adequate.

Staff practically push you in the direction of using hotel cars. When you request for a taxi on the phone, the staff member says they will confirm back to you in a few minutes. A few minutes later a staff member comes to you door and says that it will cost $63 us as there are three people and luggage an you need a van. When I responded that I came from the airport in a...

As a female travelling solo this was an excellent choice of hotel. All the staff that I encountered were friendly, professional and helpful. I enjoyed excellent Peruvian food with a contemporary twist in the restaurant ( I loved the roast goat and trio of sorbets). The coffee shop was a wonderful place too with fabulous fresh juices and snacks, comfy sofas and a ...

The most amazing thing that happened to during my stay is that I needed to urgently courier a business document to the United States. The Concierge (Rolando) helped me contact FedEx and prepare the document for shipment. Additionally, the hotel could not turnaround a dry cleaning for my suit which I needed the very next morning. Rolando made sure that wasn't going to b...

The staff were attentive and helpful. Matias from the concierge went above and beyond to recitify a change in our self booked Peru rail tickets to Macchu Picchu. The food in the restaurant is delicious and well priced for the great quality. The building is unique and full of history. The all important Pisco sour master class was also informative and great fun. Wou...

This is our first trip to South America and Peru. I don't know much about the city. I went to Agoda and look for a hotel that facilitated 2 adult and 2 children. Hotel Estelar Miraflores is the best choice I ever made so far using Agoda. Great locatin great breakfast and comfortable bed. It is very important to us to sleep well as we are going to Machu Pichu for the ne...

Place was a bit too flashy and retro to my way of thinking. Staff was helpful but not terribly well informed. Locatons was relatively safe and convenient. Airport transport to and from was excellent....Hotel and casino were reasonably clean and well maintained. Rooms were split level and had good city views.

there are more and more boutique hotel neamed but not boutique at all. this one is the real boutique type as my category. not only the hotel design, room and bath details, but also all he very sweet service to let us feel it's our temprate home, sometimes we even fotgot to lock our door~

I pretty much liked this hotel. Could use a bit of sprucing BUT is has a small pool on the rooftop with a great view of the ocean. Breakfast was okay and the staff were very helpful when my airline cancelled my flight and helped me to call the airlines and straighten out my airline rescheduling. I would stay here again. Paid $69 a night with breakfast included. Thought...

I had planned to stay 3 days at Delfines, but checked out after only 1 night due to a number of minor issues. The location of the hotel is in the business district, which assures easy access to various embassies and major companies. However, the location is far from any entertainment area, selection of restaurants etc. Be aware of all extras in this hotel. The guest ...

Upon checkin they didn't recognized my AGODA reservation made and PAID weeks ago so it was an awkward checkin situation to check and recheck and recheck. Not professional at all. They should know how to do handle situations like this because that is their job. Meanwhile waiting they threated me like they were doing me a favour...

Beautiful hotel converted from 1st Inca King's palace. The hotel is located at top of the hill, which makes the return uphill walk back from downtown quite a challenge especially if one has to deal with high altitude sickness already. Was locked out of the front gate one night at 9:00 pm. Rang the door bells over 10 times. No one at the reception desk came. Finall...
