While this inn is not location in the central area of Tacna, it just takes 5 to 10 mins to walk to this inn from the main square. The staff is especially helpful when I was staying there.

We only stayed at the hotel as a way to break up a long journey and get some rest. The hotel proved perfect for this with a large clean room, free internet access and a great breakfast. We had a nice diiner at the hotel restaurant and a swim in the pool. Definitely recommend this hotel.

The location is great, close to the Plaza and restaurants. The room smells like an old granny. But it's a simple simple room, they only provide hotel soap bar and no shampoo. The hotel is right beside the Madre de Dios river in Peru's Amazon. It provides a good budget alternative to the more remote luxury lodges downriver. Staff were helpful and friendly and can arrange river trips and wildlife spotting action. The hotel is comfortable with great views and also convenient for the facilities in Puerto Maldonado itself.

I wouldn't expect a lodge type entertainment experience, the lodge isn't the gathering place for guests outside of meals. water is cold for showers only and there is no wifi access... beer was also twice the price Ive paid on treks and around town

Its a great place in the middle of the jungle next to the river. Very quiet to vome down and relax. You can also book tours at the hostel. The owners are just amazing, they will help you with everything and as he has a wide knowledge about the plants and animals he can talk to you hours about interesting facts.

Staff were helpful when my husband was not well. They let us stayed in and cleaned the room after we went out for late lunch. Bedroom is very comfortable. Big bathroom with hot water is a bonus. Bedroom has large screen television with English speaking channel.There is no lift, staff help to carry our luggage from taxi to bedroom.

We arrived Friday night, and the rooms are not sound proof. There were a bar around the hotel and they played live music until 2am. Staff are very kind, friendly and helpful. It was very cold when we arrived late at night. Staff made us pot of coca tea to warm us up and help with high altitude. I was given extra blanket and hot water bottle to warm up the bed when I said I was cold. Helped to carry suitcases from bedroom to the taxi!
