The hotel is affiliated with a center for food services education and most of the diningroom staff are students and eager to please. Breakfasts are lavish, and you can get a good meal almost any time, even if you ar the only person in the dining room. Th staff always tried to be helpful but sometimes were out of date in their formation.

This is our 4th stay in this wonderful hotel, and we are always happy to come back here. You get much more than you pay for, especially when you compare it with the neighbouring hotels/pansions. What a great hotel in the center of town. Close to awesome restaurants and historical sites. Rooms are really Luxurious and really deserving of that. Staff was friendly and absolutely helpful. He even helped me book my bus ride to Sarajevo. Going the extra mile is really an understatement. I definitely recommend this hotel. Loved it. "Xavier" from Spain. Hehe.

1. The location is far away from the old town. If you carry a large piece of luggage, you have to drive or by taxi to get there. 2. The room was dirty and lack of supplies. No shampoo or shower gel, no slippers, more worse than homestay. And the sound insulation is poor, and wifi is unable to use. 3. I have no idea why so much guests said the staffs are friendly a...

This apartment is perfect; it is in a fantastic location and has all of the luxuries you could imagine. It has a separate kitchen, living, bathroom, and bedroom and is incredibly stylish. The windows are sound-proof, so there is no issue with the arcade noise below, but if you want to let the vibe inside, they open right up. Stasa was incredibly helpful and even orga...

Smokvica Dorcol was a lovely B&B. The building has been beautifully styled for the restaurant and lounge. The rooms were pleasant but the aircon is a HUGE problem. So whatever you do don't go in midsummer. It was hot in the rooms and we couldn't cool them down properly so sleeping wasn't the best. The staff are a bit offish ... there was rarely someone at the recep...

Careful of dodgy taxi, don't get ripped off. get the hotel staff to call you a cab. The staffs were helpful & would point you to where you want to go. A small mall nearby, but really nothing much around the area. However there is a really nice Chinese restaurant located across the hotel, very nice boss and meals were fantastic!

I like this hotel because of its location in the city business area close to the offices of all big companies. A big shopping complex is also located nearby. Another advantage is that the hotel is located near the airport. The hotel i modern with good room for business travellers. Food in the hotel restaurant is not up to international standard.

We loved the location in the old town under the fortress and just over the Danube River from Novi Sad. The apartment room was comfortable and clean. There was airconditioning and a nice courtyard. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. We also recommend the Theresa restaurant up at the Fortress. Amazing food, inexpensive and you can drive all the way up.

This was truly great experience. we had trouble with our gps so we arrived very late at night, nevertheless hosts were ready to meet us at 2 am and pleasant as they could possibly be. We only booked the place for that one night only, the next day they allowed us to sleep a little longer because we arrived so late. The house is very clean and hosts speak enough English....

I spent at "Vitez" (meaning a "Knight") one night. It is a new facility with modern interior, located just 300 m from the main street. The room and the bathroom were spotlessly clean, I admit I have never soon this clean room ever before. The room was properly heated. The staff was very professional, nice and warm. In South Serbia and their people you will really feel ...

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It is very clean and 2 girls that work on reception are more then friendly, I would give their customer service 10 of 10. Very good bakery with cakes, pies & bread 2min walk around corner. Currency exchange on other side of the road. I would recommended this place with no hesitation. Rest

We stayed the night in cute Niš to break up a bus ride to Belgrade and were so happy to have booked at this place! Central location and lovely people. The big bathtub in our room was a perfect surprise. We all slept like babies too! Didn’t take advantage of the massages this time, but it would be a perfect place to do so. Recommended!!

The place was great and a good location in Pancevo. The onwer family is so kind and helpful.Don't worry about communication if you can't speak serbian.Rooms are neat and tidy.Wifi works very well. All facilities in th e house are nice. And in fact,Pancevo is much nearer to belgrade downtown area than new belgrade. It is better for people who plan to travel with driving c...

I'm cycle-touring southwards through the Balkans on a recumbent trike. Staff at Hotel Moment made me very welcome as soon as I arrived. They were happy for me to lock my bike undercover near the door, where they could keep an eye on it. They were so impressed by the bike I was given a voucher for free breakfast next morning. Beginning of November 2019 so the hotel wa...

Everything was very clean, beautifully designed rooms, basic ammenities available. Milos was the perfect host, taking care we arrive at the right adress, and he shared with us places to see, eat and drink before having the chance to ask for it. We'll book it again for sure next time we're in Belgrade.

It is at the very centre of the capital, at most 8 minutes walk from the Public Square and 10 minutes walk downhill to the train or central bus station. The place is big enough for 3 people and with all the necessary kitchen facilities for those fancy cooking their own meals but I doubt if it is necessary as first class eateries abound!

Hotel N is on a very quiet side road well out of town. It is too far to walk to Belgrade centre but plentiful busses are available. There are not many restaurants nearby apart from the obligatory kebab shops. The rooms are very large but slightly dated. They need to remove all the headboards as they are horribly stained but cover them with a sheet and the room is fine....

Location is bit off the old city but excellent public transport connection to both airport & city covers that. Friendly and helpful staff more than make up that shortfall. The complex itself has various facilities including a few cafes, grocery store, bakery etc. Great for living away from city yet get there quickly.

Hotel is located in the real heart of the Belgrade. Very spacious room with sepertate sitting area. Hotel staff was extremely helpful. Walking distance to all major attractions. If you travel with a car, parking can be tricky. They have on site parking, just hard to get around without knowing the area well. I would give them a 5 star rating, better than most of the 5 s...

New hotel located directly across from the bus and train. 5-10 min to the restaurant / bar area at the river and the major tourist attractions. The only downside, we had a street facing room and you could here the traffic in the evening, I would recommend asking for a room away from the street.

The location is ideal, within walking distance to all places of interest. Room is very nice, newly decorated, very spacious and morden with all facilities and amenities you may expect. The owner is very nice, helpful and speaks impaccable English. Heads-up: don't be let down by the facade of the building, be prepared to be impressed by the interior. AND don't meddle wi...

The hotel had an impressive lobby and many extra features e.g. casino, restaurant, bar, health club (however you could only use the pool or sauna the gym and everything else cost extra). It would probably be about a 15 minute walk to old town; however, taxis are inexpensive. The room was average and would not be of the quality I would consider a 5 star hotel, but the...

Stayed at the Hotel fro 3 nights and had a fabulous time - we took a delux room which was amazing with very grand decor.Romm was a great size and staff were excellent - The Hotel also has a nice pool and Jacuzzi in te basement.Very centrally located and ideal base to explore the lovely small town

Despite a somewhat difficult check-in due to miscommunication with the host Marko and a shabby entrance to the building itself, the apartment contributed greatly to my falling in love with Belgrade as quickly as I did. It was spotless with great attention to detail, and Marko was a great host. (The occasional snark would have been a problem if he hadn't been so helpful...

Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your planned departure date, as this is a common requirement for entry into many countries, including Serbia.
Health and safety should also be a priority. It’s advisable to have travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, as healthcare facilities may vary in quality. While Serbia is generally safe for tourists, it’s always wise to stay alert and take standard precautions, such as avoiding poorly lit areas at night and keeping personal belongings secure.
Understanding local customs can enhance your experience. Serbians are known for their hospitality, and it’s common to greet people with a smile and a friendly “Dobar dan” (Good day). Tipping is customary in restaurants, with a range of 10-15% being standard. Familiarizing yourself with these cultural nuances can help foster positive interactions with locals and make your visit even more enjoyable.
Indulging in Serbia's Culinary Delights
Serbian cuisine is a delightful fusion of flavors that reflects the country’s diverse cultural influences. Traditional dishes such as ćevapi (grilled minced meat) and sarma (cabbage rolls) are must-tries for anyone visiting. Local restaurants often serve these dishes with a side of fresh bread and delicious salads, making for a hearty meal. The culinary scene is vibrant, with many eateries offering a mix of traditional and modern Serbian dishes.
For those with a sweet tooth, don’t miss the opportunity to sample baklava and torta, which are popular desserts in Serbia. These treats are often made with layers of pastry, nuts, and honey, providing a delightful finish to any meal. Pair your meal with a glass of local wine or rakija, a traditional fruit brandy, for an authentic Serbian dining experience.
Exploring local markets is another fantastic way to indulge in Serbia’s culinary delights. Markets like the Kalenić Market in Belgrade offer fresh produce, homemade jams, and artisanal cheeses. Engaging with local vendors and sampling their products can provide insight into the country’s rich food culture while allowing you to bring home some delicious souvenirs.
