“Love the complimentary afternoon tea with so many choices of excellent range of tea. GREAT LOCATION! MRT just below, very clean hotel too. The room quite spacious too, unlike other typical singapore hotel that squeeze you in a very small hotel room. But, too bad the spacious room is furnished with small single size bed for the twin room type, it will be perfect if the bed is bigger.”

“There are many 5 star hotels in Singapore and the Carlton is up there with the best yet, because it is an independent hotel, it manages to keep its prices very reasonable. There is a great happy hour at the bar a well-maintained pool and gym and the hotel restaurant manages to serve a huge buffet breakfast right through until 11.30am at weekends. The wi-Fi is super-fast and was included in our room rate. We were also upgraded to the premier wing which was nice although the standard wing is perfectly OK too. The only niggle is the car park. Its entrance design is very poor and awkward to reach the ticket machine at the entrance barrier as its on a sharp curve. But parking is free for guests so its only a minor niggle. Check-in and check-out is very efficient but beware the in-room capsule coffee machine. You will be charged for every capsule.”

“First stay at Dorsett Singapore but I have been to the lobby to pick up guests before. The staff service was impeccable as before. Service was good and friendly. The hotel is still new and very clean and comfortable. As with most Singapore hotels, the rooms are not as big as you would find in other countries but Dorsett has quite comfortable rooms for the prices. There was no bathtub but the shower was good. Another plus is the location, situated right on top of Outram MRT station provides easy access by subway and trains. It is also located right at the start of Chinatown and provides a good location to explore Chinatown while being far enough to be quiet. There are many restaurants and pubs within walking distance from the hotel. Travel to other parts of Singapore is easy by the MRT subway just beneath the hotel. We did not have breakfast provided but it was not a problem as there are plenty of restaurants and fast food a short walk away. Overall, this hotel excels with the service, friendly and help staff, clean and comfortable rooms, centrally located with easy access to train service.”

“This was my second stay at this freshly remodeled hotel. Perhaps the best location in Orchard Road Singapore. Many attentive staff. Lots of great design details throughout the hotel.”

“We are so happy that we chose to spend 5 night a brand new Yotel. *The staff- Very polite caring and helpful. (the best staff we ever had in a hotel) They helped us with planning, adjusted for us the menu to our vegan twists, even cheak and printed for us information about an event in the city! *The location - Perfect location very close to ION mall and MRT station. we mostly used buses. it is nicer to see the city this way (bus stop is even closer and located in front of Thailand embassy) we also liked the hotel located on the beginning of Orchard street. it is very easy to take a bus to see all the street. Since it's a one way street you can get out each time in the stop you like. * The room - small as most rooms in Singapore hotels but designed very smart and functional! we felt like in a space-ship with cool view on the city skyline. * facilities - 10th floor is Amazing! the gym is very good and new! The restaurant is amazing with very good prices. We got a 50% discount for breakfast for choosing to eat only fruits and veges in the morning :) kitchen is open till 22:30 and we used to get nice evening vegan fruit and veges salad that was adjusted for us! Thank you so much for the warm hospitality. we relay appreciate every one of you! You are areal Pros! Best Regards, Daniel & Sarit”

“My family and I stayed at hotel boss for 4 days in a family room with balcony (good for 4 pax).Over all the hotel room is brand new since the hotel just started last year. Everything are still crisp. Staff are all nice, helpfull, accomodating and smiling. The location is great, there are 2 MRT stations near it (Bugis Statiob and Lavender Station) which is about 5 minutes away through walking and a bus stop just right outside the hotel door. Mustafa center and bugis shopping mall is near. There are also tourist attractions near the area like Haji Lane wall art and Mosques. There is a 24/7 fast food chain (food clique) within the hotel premises which I find convenient because you don't have to worry getting hungry after a long day walking around singapore. A money changer, convenient store, restaurants, winery, and souvenir shops are also in the premises. I just hope they would maintain its cleanliness and beauty. Our room is small though for a family of 4. Our big suitcases can't just be open all the time because it'll obstruct our walk way and there is no closet. And also you have to request for a "Do not Disturb" sign, sometimes they're running out of it. Room lighting is nice and the wall art at the bed frame is beautiful. The balcony is big and spacious. Bathroom is nice, and clean with amenities; no bidet spray though. Shower temperature is good. Room is complete with compact fridge, tv, safety box, water boiler, and compimentary coffee & tea. The bed is good, didn't feel any back pain and good fluffly soft pillows. Nice hotel amenities with their pool overlooking Singapore Flyer and the tip of Marina Bay Sands. Generally the Hotel is at great great location, brand new, best value for money, and comfortable place to stay. I would choose to stay at this hotel again once I'm back in singapore. I would rate this hotel 9/10 👏👏👏👍. My family had a great time and payment is hassle free thanks to agoda ☺️👍. Satisfied guest here! Great Job Hotel Boss!”

“I was stsying in room 303 of this hotel on 29th of October 2011. The hotel is conveniently located near the Mustaffa 24 hour shopping mall, mosque, railway station, taxi stands and bus stations. Varieties of resaturants are within walking distance The room and toilet are clean. Linen is changed daily. The staff are polite and helpful. The breakfast was remarkable. Hotels in Singapore are expensive. However if you book through online via Agoda it is cheaper. This hotel is really value for money. I will recommend”

“ok first off, good luck at finding a decent cheaper priced hotel in the center of singapore. my boyfriend picked our first hotel in singapore located in chinatown called the chinatown hotel and it was awful. thank god we only spent one night there. so our impression of singapore hotels was not so good. we prayed the v hotel would be better- and it was! don't expect a huge room, but do expect a nicely furnished, clean room with more than 1 channel on the tv, a safe, and plenty of hot water. they are like upscale dorm rooms, but with a nice pool in the middle courtyard. also i didn't see any roaches like i did at the chinatown hotel. i also can't say enough about the location- you could not be any closer to the subway than this! lavender is the metro stop. once you leave the station make a left into a food court and walk past it. once you get to the corner you will see it on your right- v hotel! also some of the food places in the food court are open 24 hours and are very tasty. plus the station is in direct route to the sia airport, raffles hotel, raffles mall, etc. we were only spending the night so we took the train from sia, spent the night, then took the first train the next day back to the airport which came at 6:30am. we arrived to the airport around 7am. it was so easy! i highly recommend this hotel to budget travelers, stop overs and short stays. there is no comparison to the price and value of this hotel. i will definitely stay there again!”

“I love the Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa! It really is one of the best hotels in Singapore - it's got a fantastic view of the sea (even though we had a hill view room, we could see the sea from our lift lobby) a great pool; it's right on the beach so you can still have a beach holiday feel; it's got an amazing choice of food in the resort; and on the whole, the staff are so friendly and warm! It's not the cheapest hotel, but it's so relaxing, I just had such a great time. It's a very child-friendly hotel too, so if you're looking for lots of quiet couple-time, it's probably not the right hotel! They have cordoned off part of the pool for adults though, which I really appreciated, so that was nice.”

“A nice hotel in a very good location close to Bugis market and Rochor MRT . Had requested early check in but was not offered . Was offered early checkin a payable room upgrade which did not opt for. Rooms were very clean and bed was very comfy but rooms are very small . With 2 luggages open there won't be a place to stand also but guess that's common in all hotels in Singapore. The best part of the hotel was the Handy phone which was provided which helped us during the stay and also book Attraction tickets with huge discounts.”

“Had a free upgrade from superior to one of the executive rooms. I'm a very frequent visitor of this hotel and I'm always very happy with the service of the staff. Although the exterior of the hotel may look a little old, the interior is immaculately kept. Really like how spacious the rooms are in comparison to most of the other hotels in Singapore. Hotel is conveniently located near the main nightlife spots in Singapore. Will be back again.”

“One of the best hotel for me in Singapore Perfect location, behind the hotel there's a beautiful park and historical museum the history of Singapore. Near the hotel so many choices of restaurant and one of famous hawker center (the Balestier hawker center) if you want to try durian go to combat durian just 6 minutes walk. Ramada Singapore hotel is perfect for me and my family because this hotel is connected to zhongshan mall. Inside the mall you can choose any kinds of selection of foods. And on the second floor in this mall there's fair price dept.store. i would recommend this hotel to family trips with children. Should try the gym and swimming pool perfect for after hot sunny day 😊👍 for sure will come.back here again. Oh one more thing thank you Roy (front office) for the fast check in process and fulfill.my request of the room. Thank you. Best regards verdynan”

“Staff was attentive, rooms are pretty small, can't open a window, felt a bit claustrophobic, but that is a negative with many hotels in Singapore. Hotel could do way better with a bit more TLC in the hallways, a little freshup of colours and general cleaning of the bathrooms (not just the everyday stuff). 24 check-in worked very well for us. Location was great for shopping on Orchard Rd, if you like shopping. Considering other experiences in Singapore, the hotel is ok for the price. The pool is great and the kids pool is actually pretty good with it's 40cm depth. There is some streetfood available just outside the hotel, Starbucks and other well known restaurants/cafes are just 3 mins walking distance away. Took us 20 mins with pram to walk to Chinatown. So, if you don't want to pay for a highend hotel in Singapore and need a convenient place to stay, this one is ok and won't break the bank.”

“Marina Mandarin one of best hotel in Singapore. It's 5 star hotel with great services for customer which stayed at the hotel. The places had great location, because it was near to esplanade theater, merlion landmark, singapore flyer and marina bay sands (walking approx 30 minute). If we want to travel by using MRT, there was an esplanade MRT station next to the hotel and city hall interchange MRT Station (15 minutes walk). The only bad news for the hotel was : - accidentally we found "2 cockroach" at our bathroom as we entered. Anyway we will stay again at this hotel if we want to visit Singapore again.”

“My lovely partner and I decided to spend sometime celebrating. I choose this hotel as it seems to be highly recommended by a number of reviews. I must say, all the reviews are correct! It is a great hotel for the price and location, not much I could ask for. Comparing with all other hotels in singapore, I think in my own humble opinion it is best, most value for money hotel. Yes it is a little on the high side, but which hotel in Singapore isnt specially now it is the school holiday season, and year end shopping season. Thumbs up, hope that the management continue to do a great job.”

“This was our third stay in Pan Pacific Suites on Beech Road. The suites are beautiful. Very clean. Breakfast is good, small breakfast room but we always eat early so hardly anyone there, gets extremely busy later. The local is excellent. Every member of staff were friendly, helpful and always had a smile. Have stayed in other hotels in Singapore in the past but would now only stay here. Would recommend.”

“I'd definitely recommend the hotel for its location (very near to MRT station, foodcourt, 7/11), cleanliness, and comfort. I think it's a new hotel, it was clean and modern - they provide you with a device (Handy ) that you can bring along everyday during your stay. You can have free internet access and even free call on it. I did try to call home, and yes it was free. Well, it's true that room was a bit small - but for Singapore hotel it is ok lah :)”

“On our way back from a quit long trip away decided that taking a stop over in Singapore would be a good idea. We are so pleased that we did, our stay at the Amara was wonderful. Being located close to China Town there are many local places to eat if you wish to enjoy food from there. If you intend to eat in the hotel you will find the food and service excellent, although a little expensive (no more than any other hotel in Singapore though). On arrival we were a little early for check in but that was no problem for the staff, we were asked if we minded waiting while the concierge went up to check if the room was ready. This was no problem as we were able to enjoy a well made pot of tea from the wonderful selection on offer from the in-house tea shop. With in what was only a few minuets the staff came and informed us that the room was ready and that our bags were in there already. The room we were in was on the 15th floor and was all we could ask for. The bed was comfortable, the room large and plenty of room in the bathroom area to move around in with a shower that was hot and strong. Every day the room was cleaned the bed made and clean fresh towels put in the bathroom. After taking a short walk around the area we decided to return to the hotel and take a welcome relaxing swim before dinner and heading to the bar. Once again as all-over Singapore drinks were a little more expensive than we are used to in Australia but there was a good range and a long happy hour. The next evening after only being in the bar once it was nice to be greeted with a smile and hello again from the bar staff. I am happy to say how they were professional enough to remember what we had been drinking and how we liked our drinks. The bar has live music most evenings and is a great place to wind down or have a drink after dinner prior to retiring. The staff in the hotel could not have been more helpful or informative, nothing was to much to ask. Every time we were leaving or arriving the doo”

“After arriving from Thailand, we had a 4 day break in Singapore. The Grand Park hotel is fantastic, the pool was slightly heated, so you can swim at any time. The rooms are big compared to Singapore standards. We had a cot supplied free of charge for our room and there was still enough room for our child to roam around. Had no fridge in the beginning but got one supplied to us straight away no hassles at all. Location is a big plus. Being at city hall, you are only a few stops from anywhere central. Next come we come back to Singapore we will definitely stay again. We have stayed at a few hotels in Singapore, and this is the best one we have had.”

“I know this hotel is not people first choice when choosing hotels in Singapore. I am a Singaporean and if any of my oversea guests visiting Singapore, I always book Furama for them. It may look old in external but the room is clean and well maintained. The price is reasonable as Singapore hotel is expensive in general. The room size is acceptable and the food is alright as well. It is near MRT station, with North East Line and Downtown Line, you can easily reaching Singapore famous place of interest such as Sentosa, Marina Bay Sand, Garden by the bay, Singapore Flyer etc.Regardless of price, I will choose Furama over any hotel in Orchard Road or City Hall.”

“We had prior to our arrival read the comments of this hotel and found them not very positive overall. Our experience upon arrival was something completely different. Staff was very friendly, we were in awe after seeing the pool area and completely fell in love with this hotel. The view from our room overlooked the sea through a window the size of a wall. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The hotel is located right by the beach and close to tram and train stops.Sure the hotel room itself, mainly the bathroom might need a bit of an update, but it was clean and housekeeping kept it that way everyday. However, the pool, view, breakfast and all other positive aspects made up for the slight outdated look. A young, active couple as ourselves do not spend much time in the room anyway. We have stayed in other hotels in Singapore city before, which are of a higher standard, but still prefer Siloso Beach Resort to any of those. We will absolutely stay here again next time we visit Singapore.”

“Its location is apt for people who want to explore place by foot. Also 3 MRT stations and 2 bus stops are at walking distance. Its complete value for money. Clean and non smelly toilets. ”

“Arrived here at half past 1 in the afternoon on the 28th of February 2017. My flight from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore was only for about an hour. The flight, being flown in by an LCC, arrived at T1 of Changi International Airport. This means that after immigration, I would have to take the Skytrain (free) to T3 where the MRT station is located. And since I already have an EZ link card (a card that can be used towards train and bus rides throughout Singapore), I immediately got in the train station and waited for the train. EZ link cards can be bought at the train station. Approximately SGD10++ (USD7++). If you are from the airport, the next train station/stop is Expo and finally, Tanah Mera MRT Station. Train service terminates here. This is the Green Line. And since I was going to Footprints, I would have to change train (still on the Green Line) towards the city. And after about 8 stations later, I alighted at the Bugis MRT Station. And then I had to change to Blue Line (called the Downtown Line), which was a bit of a walk from the Green Line (but good exercise) for one more stop to Rochor MRT Station. I finally got out of the train station and total fare costs about SGD2.50. I immediately saw Perak Road (take Exit B) and was like counting the numbers on each establishment (each one is numbered though ). Footprints is at 25A and was easy to spot. Hostel is located within walking distance to Sim Lim Square (electronics and gadgets store of Singapore) and the Bugis area. Check-in was the most organized I've seen in all of hostels I've stayed. I was given a bed sheet (which I had to put myself), a pillow, pillowcase and rented an SGD4 a day towel (SGD2 will be refunded upon check-out). They will give you free wifi which was pretty fast. And also the access code to access the area where all rooms are located. You will also be given a key to the room. AC was working well. I was also asked for a deposit of SGD20 which can be refunded during check-out. I had a 12-bed dor”

“The hostel although seems to be out of the center is in a very good location because it is 5minute walk from the mrt which means you can get everywhere in Singapore on the very good tube network. Also being in little India there are lots of cheap food options and street food so you can also eat like a king. The hostel itself is very nice. Although still bunk beds they are more substantial and you do feel like your in your own space. There are also good facilities, in each bunk there is a plug and a light, also the breakfast is good although very busy. you have an option of toast or cereal, tea and (terrible packet) coffee and milk! My only criticism is that they made it hard for me to extend my stay because I had to book again on Agoda and therefore meant a room change which was annoying and inconvenient. Shower 8/10 Wifi 6/10 (although good in common areas it wasn't so good in my room)”

“My friend and I had a great trip in Singapore and one of the reasons made us feel great was the experience in Vintage Inn. The staffs were very kind and they helped us a lot. Things I hope they will improve are: - Get rid of the musty smell from clothes in the mixed dorm by preparing some hangers or the space for the guests hang their clothes outside - Create the partition to help the female dorm has its own entrance space - The soundproofing isn't really good, we heard the shout, noise outside and couldn't sleep well”

“This hostel had a 6.9 rating when I booked it, I stayed in places that were like 8 or 9 stars in Singapore. Genuinely don't understand why this hostel has such a lower rating, guy by the reception is nice, the rooms are fine and beds are fine. It's a hostel. All in all good stay.”

“Uncle and his staff were the best! Location in Joo Chiat may not be very near city central area unlike Bugis but their service during our stay was totally worth the few minutes walk from Paya Lebar MRT station, or from Joo Chiat Palace if by bus, Betel Box deserves all its recognition having warmest service, offers for the best tours of Singapore, great food and more! Will definitely be back next time for a longer stay. Till next time Uncle”

“This is one of the best hostel I have ever stayed in Asia! If you are travelling to Singapore, you can choose to stay here. Location is very centralised and near all tourist attractions like Chinatown and accessible via MRT which is just opposite the hostel. The bed is orthopaedic mattress and place is extremely clean. I’m very particular about toilet and its cleanliness and I will give the staff here 10 out of 10 for maintaining a clean and nice toilet. I LOVE the rain shower head, looks like Hans Grohe :) The staff here is excellent and friendly and they spoke GOOD English! They even let me try the local Kaya Toast! Highly recommended”

“When in Singapore, it can be expensive for solo travellers and backpackers, so a good option would be a hostel like this. I checked in at 2pm (you have to deposit 20 SGD, which they give to you when you return the key), and only went back to the hostel to sleep, my stuff was safe because they give u a small locker besides the rooms to store any items of value or clothes. They serve morning breakfast (Toasts and coffee/tea) from 8AM - 10AM, free strong wifi. If you need a towel or iron, its an extra 2 SGD. Since the Malaysian crew at the airport threw my toothpaste (apparently you can't carry liquids that have more than 200ml to Singapore), I was always borrowing toothpaste from the other guests haha. Because they don't provide it in the toilets (Toothpaste and soap), so make sure you bring your own. There good cafes nearby, ATM is a bit far, so make sure you have money all the time. And Nightclubs + Massage houses nearby too.”

“Nice place to stay. enough facilities to the price. Since this is not a hotel and it's a hostel you cannot expect luxury stay on here. But it's very safe and rooms are very clear. Staff is very friendly. They have special discount tickets for all the attention in Singapore.”

“NNV Hostel is Great, Mr.Victor really help and treated me very well. He showed everything in singapore from map and how to reach. Also recommend some delicious food. He makes my day in Singapore more easy amd not confused about anything haha There is nothing to complaint about the facilities. They provide everything you need with cheap budget. The bathroom is shared with another guest but they always clean it, so the bathroom become very clean. Thank you so much NNV Hostel, I will be back to NNV Hostel if I going to Singapore again. Cheers From Jakarta”

“we didnt expect a room in a hotel in singapore with that price has a good condition like that! the room is spacious(more than we though it was),very clean and fresh.the decor is nice,it made everything became easier for us to stay for 2days.the breakfast corner is quite small but lovely with some trees and benches.actually i experienced my happiness here and made friend with some ppl,we still keep in touch now.the staffs are friendly and helpful in each situation. thing i love the most is this place is super near to clarke quay, just a few steps, crossing the street and you r there!and this place is so convenient for moving around the city,it's in the middle of every line of mrt, close to clarke quay station.”

“Singapore hotels are not cheap so we decided to stay in a hostel The location is perfect only 4 mins walk to the MRT train station. The hostel is very clean and the staff were lovely very helpful and friendly. The first 2 nights we stayed in a mixed dorm of 10 and there was a few guys that snored really loud!! They moved us absolutely no worries to a 4 bed dorm although it was a little more expensive it’s bigger, much less people and totally worth it. Breakfast is basic but absolutely fine. Cereal, toast, coffee and juice. Filled us up! Standard hostel breakfast. Would stay here again when visiting Singapore!! Thank you.”

“My 6 year old daughter got sick while we were in Singapore. We were checked in at Indie Hostel. The staff were very helpful in assisting our needs and were even guiding us in finding a clinic where I could bring my daughter for check up. The staff were very attentive to our needs and very friendly. Thank you Morna and Kash!”

“Don’t expect a high-end hostel. Its a backpackers Hostel and its the cheapest rate in the Singapore I’ve ever book. They offer free breakfast (bread, oatmeal, coffee and tea). Some people inside the room are not very considerate with the noise they make. Thats the catch when you choosing backpackers. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Please treat the Hostel as your own in terms of cleaning your own dishes and flushing the toilet to be considerate in other guest.”

“First time stayed at galaxy pod, this was really worth and good for a solo traveler. Provided basic facilities what you need in a basic hotel, and the place is quite near to MRT Station, just need to walk 3 mins to arrive. Their breakfast time start at 6am, because I need to check out at 6.30am but before check out I still can enjoy my breakfast. It’s just a simple breakfast but is still feeling better than need to go out buy foods in 7-11. If have chance to visit Singapore next time, I’ll still choose this place again.”

“This place is so comfortable to stay in despite it being a capsule. It has exceeded my expectations of what a capsule would be (being my first time staying in one). The bed was really comfy with thick comforter provided. The most important part, the toilet/shower room was clean! I hope the cleanliness of the shower room stays on like that. I'm bound to come back to Singapore and stay here. In terms of location, it is strategically located in between Clarke Quay and Boat Quay. Walking distance to eateries, 7-Eleven and the Quays. Place is pretty secure as you need to use a pin number to enter the premise, it is a daily generated pin! Best suited for solo travellers/couples who are looking for something stylish, yet comfortable and does not hurt your bank account. Be aware though, you need to keep your voices/noise level down to respect other customers. :)”

“My flight was delayed so I requested if they could adjust my booking for one day. I didn't get a response online about it so I extended my booking thru Agoda; but when I arrived there I found out they actually accommodated my request. I wish I got a response eariler so I wouldn't have to book another night but the extra night/day that they gave helped me still. I didn't have to rush my packing and last day in Singapore. The staff are friendly and hospitable. The pantry/living room/dining rooms feels home-y. The location is great - close to bus stops, walking distance to MRT stations, many great places to eat. I would give 5 stars for the location if not for the red light district neighborhood. Overall a great experience!”

“My friend and I are happy and love this place. It was comfy, the room's fragranced, the air-condition surprisingly cold. The beds in spring mattresses, with white bed sheet and the covers are immaculately matched with the same patterns. Those reviews on this hostel on bedbugs, and one toilet bowl are preposterous. We stayed on our bed for more than 8 hours, sleeping and surfing the net for our next trip to Penang, and we spot nothing! When we arrived, we nook our beds and just shocking the beds are fine and clean. The shower room's small but it is unlike mixed all in one room. It is separated by each door and room, ultimately clean. Drop Inn gave us a free breakfast because there were other families with breakfast included, though ours was a promotion price and did not come with it. The lounge area was spacious and bright place for chilling, the staffs, Leo and Mustafa, gave us good pointers, what to cover and eat do for a one day in Singapore. These men are friendly, and always suggestive. They allowed us to check into our room 3 hours before the check in hours, at no additional charges, but warned us that nap during the check out hours can be unsettling as the other guests are busy getting ready. We appreciate on this little reminder that prepared our mind, and my friend Tina just wept having to be reminded of her mom. We can say Drop Inn is in a good location, and accessibility is the key. With 8 minutes walk to the Boon Keng MRT station and the purple train line served most attraction places that takes you in less than 30 minutes journey. We will return our stay at Drop Inn again after our Malaysia and Indonesia trip. Thank you Agoda for capturing our attention on this promotional rate. Thank you Drop Inn, to Leo and Mustafa for making our stay in Singapore a memorable one. We had least expectation and would like to quote on what we noticed at the exit door of Drop Inn; "To travel is to discover that everyone is wrong about other countries"- Aldous Huxl”

“we booked a 4 bed private room with shared bathroom. when we arrived, they upgrade us to a family room with 6 bed en suite bathroom. We get a free breakfast and 2 big bottles of mineral water, plus hot water at any time to make a coffee or tea. The lokcation is near little india station, you can walk a way, so easy to go everywhere, easily getting halal food and close to the market, mustafa center, Bugis, Arab villages, and the bus terminal to singapore. and most important of all his staff are very nice and pleasant n helpfull. if I go to singapore again, I would stay in Cliffden hostel. Great memory!!”

“I have stayed in quite a number of hostels in Singapore. Honestly this is the best so far. Well decorated, rooms are comfy, beds are comfy, conveniently located just off Aljunied MRT station. Best one!”

“the word “good” will never suffice the best experience we had in The Hive. Indeed, true to its promise of bringing the best accommodation in Singapore especially if you are travelling in group. Hotel staffs are very efficient and friendly, quality service day in day out. ”

“The best hostel I've ever stayed in Singapore. Their friendly staffs even prepared a lot of foods for us to celebrate Christmas! Hostel location is within walking distance to the MRT station and a 24hours convenient store. Bed is clean and comfy. Really love their privacy curtain and bed light. Breakfast have to be redeem at a restaurant about 100m away, you'll get two hard boiled eggs, tea or coffee, and toast or chicken pau. Good enough for simple breakfast but I'd prefer soft- boiled eggs. Too bad the restaurant doesn't allow us to change it.”

“I visited Singapore with a group of friends and I was so blessed that I booked this hostel. Convenient, clean, comfortable stay & value for the money. Some downside - Toilet a bit small compare to the one at home, signboard not visible enough even is just right at the Metro station entrance. ”

“Interested with high rating given to this hotel, i booked 2 nights in this hotel, and really, this was the best hostel i ever visited. Arrived about 6 PM, we have greeted nicely by the reception. She was very kind, and accompanied us to check our rooms, toilets and shower rooms, and gave us the password for wifi (which very fast) and also for doors. THe room was small, but very clean. The blankets and pillows were very comfy and clean. One thing that amazed me, there was spacious areas in your rooms, where you can put your luggages and also to packed your luggages. Toilets and shower rooms were very clean. No smelly air and water just worked perfectly.”

“Highly recommended ... My first night I stay here then my 2nd night I try other hostel just to see OR expirience. I proved that spacepod@lavender.... is miles away difference from the facilities, cleanliness and the best is staff compare to other hostel... I extend my vacation and im here again... 😁 my last night in Singapore... now i know why this hostel have a good rating. Job well done👏👍 5star”

“It is understandable that hotels in Singapore is quite expensive. For backpackers like us, we are satisfied with the stay in Meadows Hostel. It is quite clean and tidy. Staff are friendly. Hotels provide bread and jam for breakfast. We had other plan so we didn't try the bread. We were staying in a female dormitory for a double bed. I think it is not very suitable for travelers who have too many bags. The space in the room is not enough, so it may bring troubles to other. By the way, the hostel is quite close to Lavender station and very convenient!”

“This was my second stay at this freshly remodeled hotel. Perhaps the best location in Orchard Road Singapore. Many attentive staff. Lots of great design details throughout the hotel.”

“I stayed in the Constellation room, which comes with a private jacuzzi. The room is beautiful, clean and even though it has a private jacuzzi and daybed outside in the balcony, the set up is designed in a way that it is private yet not covered. The view is breathtaking and service provided by all the attentive and well trained staff was beyond my expectations. However, I think some maintenance can be improved to make it outstanding. 1. The connection of the TV was not very good so most channels produced a streaky image. 2. 3 buttons on the jacuzzi were faulty so the full experience could not be enjoyed and 1 component from the jacuzzi fell apart shortly after turning it on. 3. The wireless telephone was always out of battery and would turn off in the midst of a phone call despite being left on the charging dock. 4. Room service for breakfast was a little disappointing. The egg benedict was tasteless and my hot cappuccino which I requested to come with soy milk, had lumpy and curdled residue towards the end of the drink. Food portion was also rather small. Overall, my stay with Capella was exceptional and it is indeed one of, if not, the best hotel in Singapore. The location, quality of service and it's ability to transport you away from the bustle and stress of Singapore, is worth a visit.”

“I had a fantastic 2-day stay at this hotel and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in Classic King on Level 61! Big room, hotel bed was very comfortable to sleep on - excellent; clean bathroom, excellent location from which to explore Singapore. Hotel services were excellent. Frankly, I will definitely be coming back in the very near future for sure. This is one of the best hotels to stay in Singapore ... No doubt. I would highly recommend Swissotel Hotel Singapore to my family and friends alike.”

“The location is good as it is near to Far East Plaza and Orchard Road. However, there are few things I am very unhappy with this hotel, given it is a 5 star hotel. First, there was no bell boy to carry my bags when I checked in. Being a single girl travelling, did they expect me to carry somewhat 30 kgs by myself. SEcond, It was very hard to request for early check in unlike other 5-stars hotel in Singapore that I used to stay before. Third, it was extremely difficult to catch a taxi from this hotel. I had to wait for almost an hour. I then requested the staff to call and book a taxi for me as I needed to go somewhere urgently. However, the hotel staff told me that they could not get through the taxi service. My suggestion: call another taxi company if one couldnt get through. Singapore has many taxi companies.”

“My wife and I frequently travel to Singapore but this was the first time we stayed at the Ascott Orchard Hotel as we were not aware the hotel could accommodate short term staying guests. We were very impressed by its sleek modern architecture, its quiet and serene environment (very different than other hotels in the Orchard area) as well as the welcome extended to us by the hotel staff who made great efforts to find us a room even though we had arrived quite early in the morning. Our Studio Executive room with a large double bed was comfortable, very well equipped with all amenities including a microwave oven and had a large bathroom with a great shower area. Also worth mentioning was the Soundbar placed below the TV, which you do not find in many hotels in Singapore. So overall, we had a great stay at the Ascott Orchard Hotel and would not hesitate to return when we visit Singapore again the the future.”

“a reputable business & convention hotel in singapore, grand hyatt singapore offers extensive business services complemented by an all-encompassing venue - the gallery for exclusive meetings or spectacular social gatherings. whether visiting singapore for business, pleasure or a little of both, the grand hyatt singapore hotel has everything needed for a truly memorable stay. just like that. !!!”

“We we staying in this hotel second time. None of the good Singapore hotels are cheap and for us ( 2 adults and 3 kids) we usually book 2 rooms. At Deluxe Family King room we could fit without booking second room. Breakfast in the hotel is very good, and swimming pool at Hard Rock hotel ( could be used by Festive hotel guests) is fantastic. Location next to Universal Studio, Aquarium and Water pars is an added bonus for travelers with kids. Will be back there when in Singapore.”

“We stayed at this hotel for our Wedding anniversary in May 2016 and a week later, we came back with the children to share what we’ve experience. Following that, till the end of 2016, We’ve gone for another 23 more Stay cations in Singapore, all 4 Star & above. After each Stay cation, my Wife & Children will give their opinion & the Equarius always came up as the best they have been to partially because so far, this hotel has the Biggest and Well Furnished Deluxe Rooms that they have stayed in. The Toilet has Good Quality toiletries and the Design is Sophisticated and Spacious that it makes you feel like a rich person. How I wished I had this in my own home ( Probably Sleep in it - LOL!!! ). The Pen – (Haha!!!), never seen such Good Quality in any hotel before, ( Just Like a Mont Blanc ) and the best part is that its in a Deluxe room. This is the only hotel that we ordered Room Service because the food price is almost the equivalent to eating in the restaurant. ( The Food Trolley when fully open [ Wala!!! ] becomes a Table ). Don’t know what the other hotels offer – Haha!!! Sorry, Not much Experience on Dining in (LOL)!!! We love the Swinging pool but we had to walk out of the hotel to get to it and it’s more of a Resort style and beats the rectangular stereotype ones you can find in almost every hotel in Singapore. When we were checking in, someone came out from the front desk to usher us to the next available station and honestly, majority of the hotels we've been to, the front desk staff never leave their station & you will find people giving you that look (Hey!!! I came here first ). While checking in, the front desk manager ( Hana ), heard my wife mention that it is our 25th Wedding anniversary & she initiated to upgrade our room to a Suite and personally escorted us to the Suite & later send up a Complementary Bottle of Wine to add to our Celebration. ( I secretly copied her name from her name tag - We were speechless, & Very Very Happy ). A”

“The hotel is looked like beehives from outside, very impressive and creative. This hotel is by far the best hotel we stayed in Singapore in our around 20 times travel there. This new modern yet classic hotel is located conveniently above Bugis MRT station with only 3 mins walking distance and bus stop is also nearby. You can find abundant of drinks in the fridge including beer and soda free of charge and is refilled every day. At the hotel check in floor, there is a minibar also provide coffee and tea and some snacks all day long. In this sense the hotel is quite generous to the guests. We have nothing negative towards Andaz except if the staff could be more detailed minded and attentive, although they are already serving very well. Overall speaking, this hotel worth coming back again and again and we will do so in our future trip to Singapore.”

“This was the best travel decision I have made according to my wife. Returning from Thailand at midday, with our return flight to Australia the following morning, this just made sense. Having stayed at a 5 star hotel in Singapore City before travelling onto Thailand, we were very pleased with the room we were given on the top floor overlooking the southern runway. The Customer Manager who showed us to our room introduced to all of the features of the room and highlighted the entitlements of the Executive upgrade, especially the happy hour and the availabilty of an early breakfast in the Executive Lounge. After a short shopping spree in the City via train and a leisurely return by taxi, the happy hour in the Executive Lounge was a fitting end to a weeks holiday overseas. A first class evening meal in the room; a timely wake up call with a light breakfast again in the Executive Lounge, and then a leisurely stroll to the Skytrain to Terminal 1, is the method by which we will leave Singapore in future, even when it is a stopover from Europe.”

“this used to be the best hotel in Singapore a decade ago. but now many better hotel with similar class. I like best about the room, the size is quite Big comparing to similar hotel of it's class, you can pack 3 people (with extra bed) without having space problem for your luggage. the lifts is very close with the entrance, so you can have privacy. the staff is very attentive. their service is superb. but again, it's not so in the shopping friendly environment. also, you can't find foodcourt kind of food nearby, so be prepared to live a luxurious life if you are staying here... you can't go cheap.”

“The customer service was very attentive and professional. Something which is lacking in many five star hotels in Singapore. The hotel itself is very tastefully decorated with subtle Eastern touches. The pool area is very well thought out with plenty of space and different areas to explore. The executive club experience is worth the extra cost as the food and drinks is of a high standard.”

“Apartments are large in size and well fitted out. Nicely finished bathrooms. Furnished with quality furniture. Location is good if your looking to shop. Plenty of options to eat at this complex. You have the option of dining at the hotels 3 restaurants which are a little expensive but comparable to the usual prices associated with fine dining in Singapore. Breakfast was included and I would say it was amazing with some much to choose from. We will be back.”

“I booked the room for a staycation. 2 days before check-in, I paid for an upgrade (offered as a choice to HHonors member) so I got to stay in a corner suite with executive lounge access. Great before check-in service. The stay itself is pleasant. Check-in and check-out is not the most fast but not considered slow. Staffs attended my several requests (ice bucket, baby cot, wine glasses, heat up packed food, etc) very fast, actually one of the the most fast and attentive among all the hotels I stayed (considering I've stayed over almost all 5-stars in Singapore). I was always addressed my name and this is a nice personal touch I really appreciate. Room is not huge as I imagined, although it's said to be 63 sqm, most of the space is kinda 'wasted' in bathroom - the bathroom is at least 20 sqm large! Not a complaint because I enjoy huge bathrooms but this will probably help other visitors set their baseline. Cleanness is very good. Bed is as high/comfort as other Conrad hotel standard. TV in the hall is huge and there's another smaller TV in the room. Channel selection is good with 40+ channnels but most of them don't have a clear reception - I would suggest the management subscribe to HD channels instead as the normal signals don't really look good on huge TVs. Furniture/appliances are old and need an upgrade asap. Come on, it's 21st century and which else 5-star hotel needs me to manually wind down the curtain? This suite even has 7 pieces of curtain and another 7 pcs of blind! Executive lounge is good. Food and drinks (alchoholic drinks included) are provided daily from 6.30am till 11pm. Visitors can enjoy free wifi at lounge, not sure of the quality tho as I'm local and has 4G in my phone.”

“This is the best home away from home I have ever had since I started traveling to Singapore and Thailand a few years back. I am usually on a budget when I get into the Lion City and this hotel provided comfort, customer service, convenience and wireless internet for the kind of not-so-outrageous budget I always have. The staff were attentive, when I needed something from housekeeping they always kept me replenished with bottled water, towels etc. It was very nice to be with very accommodating staff and reception was also very efficient as well, whenever I needed my internet cards and also when it came to checking in and checking out. THe beds were at par with the best hotels in Singapore and that contributed to great nights' sleep for me. THe pool was charming also and very unexpected considering the hotel was at a very central location and there was an MRT construction going on. THe WHOLE hotel was kept CLEAN despite the rumble and rubble of the construction nearby and this is very impressive. I will definitely come back!!!”

“This was an excellent hotel if you have business in this part of Singapore. It's a bit removed from the major shopping and tourist areas, if that's your thing, though. But public transport in Singapore is always very easy, and I didn't miss being near Orchard Road or Marina Bay. Breakfast was very good. Not the best I've had but definitely not the worst! A decent variety. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was super clean. If you travel in Singapore much, you find out that older hotels, even 4-star ones, tend to have a little mold in the bathrooms. Since this was a brand-new hotel, the bathroom was absolutely immaculate! The pool was nice. The restaurants beneath the hotel were very good. I especially enjoyed Carpenter and Cook.”

“It was difficult choosing a hotel in Singapore when there are so many. I chose Hotel Jen based on the location and price. I booked a Panorama Club room which was a bit larger than the normal rooms. The room is very nice and modern. Motorized window shades, TV built into the bathroom mirror. Manual bidet. I had a low floor, so the view wasn't spectacular but it was nice having large windows all around. The club was a decent size, with a decent selection of food options for a 4 star hotel. The view up in the club was much nicer than the room. There's a gym but I didn't partake. The rooftop pool has a fabulous view of the city and you can order drinks and food up there. The breakfast buffet was above average. Staff were friendly. Location is good, right above a large mall on Orchard as well as next to MRT. Easy getting a taxi or walking to many food options.”

“Having stayed in a number of hotels in Singapore including several 5-star ones over the past 15 years, I find IBIS Singapore on Bencoolen quite refreshing. It's your best bet if traveling to this city on a budget -- the hotel is centrally-located, a block away from Bugis market, Bugis Village and with easy access to Orchard. But what I really like about the hotel is the hotel front desk staff. They are very enthusiastic and very, very helpful. Quite a difference from the reception staff of other hotels -- the IBIS staff are there to meet your every need. There is also free wifi and internet access near the reception for guests without a laptop. This is a major plus for those traveling on business. I will stay in this hotel again and again when in Singapore.”

“Staying at The Park Royal was an absolute pleasure. I've stayed in several Singapore hotels ranging from 2 stars to 5 stars, and this was the best. The service was excellent from the minute we stepped out of our taxi to the minute we left. Room was large and comfy, awesome pillow top beds & great food from room service. The pool deck is plush (even though the spa was cold). The day spa gives great massages and the hotel is very close to Bugis MRT. Very quiet room, and aircon, got a great sleep. Highly recommnended value for money in Singapore. I'll stay here again.”

“Hotel Royal offers value for money compared to similar four-star hotels. Although one of the oldest hotels in Singapore, Hotel Royal offers a family room that is spacious and clean. Beds are comfortable to sleep on. The bus station is right in front of the hotel. The hotel is also close to the Novena MRT station where accessibility is a must for faster and convenient travel to Singapore's tourist sites. There are many neighboring restaurants and eateries to choose from. Location at Newton St. is quiet and peaceful. The front desk staff are accommodating and friendly.”

“Not my first time staying here and won't be my last. I have stayed in many hotels in Singapore and mostly 5 star hotels. However I tried Parc Sovereign as the name at least had a Welsh connection. Glad I did stay. Staff are excellent, helpful as much as they can and very professional. Just a great experience staying there. Well done.”

“I have been to several serviced apartments in Singapore but this is by far the best- considering the rate, area of the unit, cleanliness, proximity to the mrt. They also have a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment which was really perfect for me because most serviced apartments who offer 2 bedrooms only have 1 shared bathroom. The interior is quite old already but for me, it doesn't really matter because everything still works just fine and the place is really clean, complete with everything we needed. They actually provided more stuff than what we expected. I was also very happy that they cleaned the unit every other day as compared to other serviced apartments who only offers 1x a week cleaning. Their staff are also very accommodating. I cannot say anything negative about this place. I just wish they will accept short term bookings soon. I will definitely stay here if I ever have to stay in Singapore for a week or longer.”

“Best loft experience but just one little comment on the CR door. The rest is excellent. Staff, just good. Coz to be competitive with other Singapore hotels. They must be all smiles and extremely accommodating.”

“I stay in the RELC 3+ times a year passing through Singapore. It is a three star next to a five star (Shangri-La) just off the top of Orchard Road. Only downside is an uninspiring breakfast, so I always just rent the room without breakfast (try the Starbucks just around the corner on Orchard). If you want luxury facilities like a rooftop bar, just go to the Blue Bar at the Shangri-La next door. RELC has laundry facilities too, which is why I would tip this as family hotel also. One of the few non-dodgy value hotels in Singapore in my experience.”

“Love the kitchenette, perfect for staycation visits with your loved ones. The room was large (compared to majority of hotels in Singapore), clean and very comfortable. Room also features a full-sized window view of the Singapore Expo area. Location of hotel is just a 5 minutes walk away from the Expo MRT station and no lack of amenities as Changi City Point is right beside it. Amazing value for money with the last minute promotion deal.”

“I have been to many hotels in Singapore and this is the best so far. It's spacious compare to many with the same value. Not many come with swimming pool with the amount paid as well. It comes with complimentary parking and just located opposite of Bencoolen station, DT21 (blue line). It opened on 1st Nov 2017 so pretty new and some renovation is still on going at time of writing however it doesn't cause me any inconvenient. Orchard, Esplanade, Marina Bay, Garden by the bay just nearby. There are Food Republic and Din Tai Fung next to hotel and do try the restaurant (The Glass Onion) opposite the hotel if you do not want to travel far, the food is quite nice. The only con could be the sound proof however only when you are unlucky to stay next to some people who are not considerate and shouting till 2am which is in my case and the hotel is fully booked thus I am not able to change my room. Will be back if I am going to Singapore again.”

“Stayed over the hotel for a weekend in Singapore. Hotel is located at quiet part of town and can easily access points of interest by cabs w/in a 5-15min time radius. Facilities and rooms are well kept and breakfast buffet had good variation. Would stay here again for future trips.”
