“After more than 20 years of marriages , we decided to leave the kids behind in Australia and go for our second honeymoon in Korea. It was my first trip to Korea and I had booked Hotel Gracery Seoul. The hotel blew our mind when we first step in. The reception was on the 11th floor. The hotel was so clean , room was so neat and tidy. The staff were excellent, very accommodating. We stayed for 2 nights before flying off to Jeju. After that , we had to stay back at this excellent hotel again. I hope to return in the near future to this wonderful hotel with the whole family. Thank you Hotel Gracery Seoul for the wonderful memories.”
“The second time I have visited South Korea to see my son who has been working there for over three years. Best hotel for the visit.”
“Wasn't really expecting much from this hotel but I was wrong! We didn't have a hard time looking for it because of the helpful information people in Myeongdong. Upon checking in, the staff upgraded our room for free and even gave us Etude house face masks as welcome gifts. Room was small but very clean. They also provide complimentary Etude House products every day! Wifi was fast also. They have this guest lounge where you can use the microwave, do your laundry, chill, and even do your nails with free etude house nail polish! Hotel staff were also helpful and very accommodating. Guests checked in in this hotel also get discounts from different establishments in Myeongdong (Happy Lemon, Hello Kitty cafe, Etude house, etc) so make sure take advantage of it before you check out ;) Hotel is also close to the subway (Euljiro-1 station) and airport bus stop so transportation is no problem. There are lots of restaurants nearby and also money changing establishments. Myeongdong shopping area is also super close, really superb location! I cannot say anything bad about this hotel! We enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be choosing to stay here when we go back to this beautiful country. We loved South Korea!”
“Best hotel i have stayed in South Korea. Comfortable king size bed and big room. Clean toilet. Themed floor. Friendly staff and accommodating. Outside lots of shops and food restaurant. Minutes walk to Myeongdong subway station.”
“We split our stay in Seoul into 2 locations: Myeongdong and Gangnam. I picked Dormy Inn Seoul Gangnam because of the free breakfast, free ramen, self-serve laundry facilities and convenient locations to where we would be visiting during our stay in Gangnam. We were really satisfied with the widespread breakfast. Food was delicious and plentiful with changes in variety. We found that by eating a big breakfast and the free ramen, we were able to save money on meals by buying one large meal a day at lunch plus snacks of course. Who can resist Korean street food and snacks! We did not try the onsen but we saw people using it when doing our laundry. Love the self-serve laundry! We had a 23-day trip visiting South Korea and Hong Kong. Packing less clothing and doing laundry during the trip saved luggage for souvenirs. Washing is free and a small fee of 2000 won for drying. The machine has specific settings for delicate clothing items. Despite small room size, we highly recommend this hotel!”
“Location is superb but the room is really small but this is consider ok in South Korea. We booked the room with no windows due to the low rate and worry about the room being too dark. The room was really good with sufficient lighting and the hotel actually built artificial windows to make the room feels better.”
“The hotel was excellent in shoping, business meeting and relative family meeting. I had two relative meeting in the Korean goumet restaurent. Everybody liked it. It is located in the center of the government office building. It is very convenient location to make an appointment in business. A big and luxuary department store named Lotte is there. My faily and I enjoyed shoping and eating in the food court of the department store. I really enjoyed traveling and staying in the hotel. I'd like recommend the hotel to travllers who want to visit South Korea.”
“We stayed at this hotel in January, which is a very cold month in Seoul. We chose this hotel as it is just above the Mapo Station and only a few steps from the exit no. 9. Also, we went to emart via exit no. 4 for shopping before we left for airport. You can also get tax refunds on non-perishable items at emart. Coffee shops, fried chicken stalls and eating places (even Korean beef) are just opposite the road. The interior design of the room is modern with shelves, storage, hangers and beds are all very handy with a feeling of your own house. This is the best hotel I have stayed after years of travel in Korea.”
“The hotel was brand new and a very family-friendly hotel. Lots of facilities for families to enjoy and spend time just within the resort. Famous restaurants were within the resort at B2 level in anati cove. But the location was one hour away from the main attraction of the Pusan city, wifi was not free and the staff’s english was not that great. The hotel was fully booked as we went during xmas break so our view from the room was not exactly the mountain but a parking lot view. The bathroom, tub and bed was extremely spacious and comfortable. The interior is beautiful with a soothing dark wood color everywhere!”
“Hotel is near exit 3 of Hoeyeon Station with lift access and a short walk. Namdaemum Market is just across the road, walkable to Myeongdong. Room is good size with space to open the luggages. Considering big for Korea Hotel. On my last night booking I was upgraded to the family suite which included a sofa set and plenty of space for the kids to roll. Hotel concierge was extremely helpful to help to arrange the courier of a tablet which I have left in the Ski Resort and safe keep it. Would like to thank Mr Ricky Lee for the assistance in conversing with the staff from Vivaldi Park Resort.”
“This Hotel Located just at the exit of myeongdong subway.. Location is 5-star : just 1 mins to the heart of myeongdong, lots of store, foods, convenience store etc Everything feels new in this hotel, great quality of linen, big room (you can open 3-4 large suitcase at once) Staff is exceptional : speak english well & very polite Price is cheap compare to other big hotel in this area Oh and this hotel belongs to Lotte Group (one of the largest group in korea, specialized in hotel / malls / retails / etc)”
“Hotel is always clean, accommodated with the friendliest staff. close to all amenities and shops, street food, convenient stores, malls. Hongdae is easily the best place to be if you are in South Korea. Free cold filtered water and ice is bonus. I would stay in this hotel again when I return to South Korea. Worth the money! Thank you for having me. ”
“My twins were born in South Korea, and this was a graduation present for them as they left when they were six months old. The receptivity at the hotel to accommodate all needs were superlative, and so was the customer care. They were helpful with directions, language skills and provided advice to participate in activities. I appreciate the staff and plan to return to this location again, when we return. Thank you for the opportunity to share and I thank the management also for being so attentive to our needs overall.”
“Believe the hype, the Shilla hotel is simply one of the very best, if not THE best hotel in Korea. From the lavishly decorated surroundings, to the large, beautiful lobby, to the many gourmet restaurants, top-notch facilities, expertly-trained staff, and outstanding guest rooms, what more can you want in a 5-star luxury hotel? Even the most basic guest room is large, modern, and meticulously clean. The bedding, in particular, is the most luxurious and comfortable I've ever experienced....better than in most 5-star hotels I've stayed at inculding the best in the US and Europe. The staff are expertly trained, fluent in multiple languages, and very attentive. The facilities, esp. the outdoor pool, fitness center, and spa are amazing. I would also highly recommend the dinner buffet at the Parkview restuarant....expensive but not to be missed! The location is good in that it's up on a hill, away from traffic noise, but a little bad in that a quick access to surrounding neighborhood is a bit difficult.”
“We had seen this hotel and initially planned just to visit it during our stay but thankfully we decided to splash out and book a room here and we were so glad we did. You only need one night here to fully appreciate it and it is so much fun. There are lovely gardens to walk around, a revolving coffee car at the top and the ship plays a chime every morning 20 minutes before sunrise so you can get up and watch the magnificent sunrise in the sculpture park. the hotel is up quite a big hill from the town so you are best to take everything you need and just stay here for you stay. There is a small supermarket in the hotel and bakery and there is stove in your room so we had a very enjoyable home cooked spagetti dinner to save on our budget. Some reviews mention that it is hard to get to the Suncruise without your own transport, we managed fine. We arrived from Samcheok via the seaside train (booked by tourist info booth in Samcheok), took a taxi to the Suncruise from the train station (W4,000) and then took the bus which goes from the car park in front of the Suncruise to Gangneung Express and Intercity bus stations (40 mins W2,000) for our onward bus to Daegu. This hotel is just fantastic, we loved every second of the novelty of being in a ship on land, we booked a garden view room which had no balcony, but it was at the very front of the ship with a magnificent sea, garden and sunrise view. It is expensive but well worth the price if you enjoy novelty hotels like we do.”
“It is a great experience for me, I was worried about the difficulties of travelling in South Korea as I am not good at English and Korean. The hotel we stayed is easyily to be found, and surrounding the hotel is full of selection of local restaurants. I could walk to Myeong Dong shopping area even though it was the first time for me to travel. The room is comfortable in design, size and cleanliness. I would recomment people to stay this hotel if they go for shopping in Seoul.”
“Great location . Easy access from Incheon Airport. From the airport, take the limousine bus 6015 and get off at the Myeongdong Station bus stop, and the first street on the rt is where the hotel will be after a short walk straight up that street. It will be on the right side. Or for less cost, you can take the AREX All Stop Train at the airport and transfer at Seoul Station to line 4(blue line) and get off at Myeongdong station. Walk out at exit 8 and first street on the left is where Nine Tree Hotel is located. This is my first time here in South Korea an thought it may be difficult and confusing using the subway. If staying at this hotel, you can use the subway to get to all the main attractions in Seoul and will never get lost, as long as you connect with line 4 and get off at Myeongdong station and go out exit 8. Hotel is located directly on a popular main shopping street filled with food vendors and many shops. Money exchange right below the hotel. Friendly helpful staff”
“Lotte jeju is one of the two best hotels in south of jeju island. It is a little expensive, but the hotel experience will be more than you paid for. the beach side rooms have a really stunning view of the beach under the cliff. nice outdoor pool with warm water. nice food. very good”
“have seafood market near hotel area you can enjoy korea like in beautyful city near 38 line. many attracttive place to visit.dont miss this hotel”
“this was my sister's and my first trip to south korea, so we had no idea what to expect. skypark myeongdong iii was an awesome choice for us. hotel staff were very polite, approachable, and accomodating. hotel security is great. you must have your hotel key to go up on the elevator, and rooms include a safe. we were placed on floor 7, which along with floor 6, is a ladies only floor. outside the hotel entrance is a subway exit, making traveling around the city really easy. if you walk two blocks down you can enter the heart of the myeongdong shopping area which is great too. we did not get breakfast at the hotel, but there are a couple of delicious bakeries nearby to catch a morning bite. the hotel itself is very new, and daily housekeeping keeps it very clean. fresh towels everyday, but they don't resupply the shampoo/body wash. i strongly recommend bringing your own or better yet - buying some in myeongdong when you arrive. overall, my sister and i loved staying at this hotel and we will definitely consider staying there again it on our next trip”
“Pros: - The location is very nice. Not too far of a taxi ride from the station and close to the beach. - The room is still new and very clean. - The bed is nice and big. Cons: - The fridge wasn't that cold. - Asked the front desk for ice at 11pm and they said it was not available after 10pm and suggested buying it at a convenience store. (They did call the store for us to see if they still had ice. But I expected full service from a 5-star hotel.) - The view was okay. It was not a full ocean view but could still see it if from one angle in the room or when you went out to the balcony. - Accidentally left a couple of T-shirts in the room and called the evening that we checked out. A representative called the next day but said nothing was found. Overall: The hotel itself is big, new, and clean. The staff is friendly, but also slightly awkward perhaps due to lack of experience. Lastly, I expected better service from a 5-star hotel.”
“Love the location. I loved waking up in the morning to see the sunrise. Clean rooms, housekeeping came every day and did a great job. We had the 3bd suite and it was just perfect for 4 adults and 2 kids . Wish they provided more towels without charge, open the trail for the decks earlier to see sunrise, and one of the infinity pool access to those staying without purchasing the water park. We did the waterpark on one of the days, but the other two days it would be nice to swim without having to purchase. The staff were great. Room was provided with utensils, plates, pots, knife, chopping board and daily bottles of water. They provided pillows and blankets for the ondol room. Oh and they have water filter in the hallway which was a great plus. They also had a room for all garbage disposal with different recycling (korea style). Will still recommend and will come again.”
“Though this hotel is classified as economic accommodation, I found its location, amenities , cleanliness, services were compared favourable with those 5 stars hotel. Especially on the automatically functional multi-purpose toilet bowl and the impressive service of travel route planning by the hotel manager, distinct its competitiveness while leaving us with the most remarkable staying experience ever in Korea . The manager was responsible and committed in communicating with our driver for the best travel routes with some not-to-missed points of interest upon check-out the hotel to airport for evening departure. This widen our travel experiences there without waste. We will surely visit this hotel when travelling Busan again!”
“Hotel was so clean throughout the rooms and facility, it was a pleasant stay! Their customer service was also awesome, greeted by staff from parking lot, and assisted with luggage all the way to your room. Staffs were so polite and kind. Made reservation from 2 different company and there were miscommunications with doubke booking, when I inquired, hotel staffs were very courteous and prompt with responding and assisting with issue occured. Their follow up service was amazing !! They were even avle to trace back call history and assist. I would rate this hotel 5/5 for their professionalism in serving customer with their clean facility and excellent customer service!!”
“Amazing service. If your the type of person that appreciates a certain level of service then this is the place to stay in jeju. Casino is very small compared to those is las vegas but they are all like that in Korea. I would recommend geting a package with breakfast otherwise you will end up paying $100 + for 2 people just for breakfast. Great hotel, great people, great island, great stay! Oh and the massage was amazing!!”
“Room is in good condition with walkable distance to Myeongdong. Be back to this hotel again for next time in South korea.”
“We came in late, about 1:40 AM. Karl was there to meet us, made us feel like home. The room as clean, though it was a little bit small but so far still good. Breakfast is good as well (i love the milk they're serving and the salad). Adapters are also available, which made it easier to charge electronic stuff. Location is very near to Dongmyo station, very walkable to the subway. Claire also helped us book for an extension, which was very helpful. All of the staff knows how to speak well in English as well. Overall, a really great experience! Staff makes US even more impressed with South Korea!”
“I had a memorable Christmas 2018 holidays and of course, Hotel Skypark Myeongdong 1 is one of the reasons. It has been a while since I visited South Korea so I was really excited. The hotel is in the heart of Myeongdong, the shopping heaven! Really, really good location I must stay! We arrived around 5:30 AM from the airport. Check-in time was 2:00 PM (from what I remember) and we didn’t booked a room for the day before since it was a waste of money and half of the day, we will not occupy it. We regreted it though since we were so tired and we just wanted to sleep first. There were no available rooms when we arrived since it was peak season so we stayed and sleep in the sofas of the reception. Receptionist was accomodating. In the end, someone checked out early and we were able to have a room— we just paid an extra. Their room is quite small though, which I believe is normal for hotels in Seoul. Facilities is good for a small hotel. Aside from that, they have a mini restaurant too near the reception. Not that fancy but its okay. There are nearby coffee shops for your breakfast anyway. My main problem in this hotel was their WiFi. The internet was really slow. I thought South Korea has one of the fastest internet in the world, not in this location though. Also, if you are going to take Airport Limousine or train from/to hotel, with all your heavy luggages, it will be a challenge since the tiles of Myeongdong is not flat. Expect also a lot of people since the area is crowded. :)”
“I highly recommend Roi House !! First, it is located at a hip area for mostly young people for shopping and many other establishments. While I am not as young as most of the crowd in Hongdae area, I still enjoy the area very much. Roi house is very near the exit #3 of Hongik University station. There is a nice park if you wanted to walk and sit for relaxing. While I stayed at the dorm room for females, I have seen the private rooms and they are beautiful and I believe they all have private bathroom and showers. The staff is always very kind. Kim is very hardworking and does a great job to keep the Roi House in great shape. Whether you are traveling or you just need a break from things even if you live in Korea, Roi House has that therapeutic effect to let you move forward while you enjoy what Hongdae area offers. :)”
“You are a 30-60 seconds walk (depending on the traffic light) into the digital beating heart of Seoul. An endless feast for your eyes is literally right around the corner. But it’s not SO close that the noise from the massive crowds of people make its way to the hostel. I originally planned to stay here one night because I didn’t have a fixed itinerary and wanted to explore the rest of South Korea. But then I kept extending my stay again and again and again because of the awesome entertainment and shopping within arm’s... no, elbow’s reach. Plus the owner is very nice and the place is clean and comfortable. What more could you possibly ask for? I would give this 10 stars out of 5 if I could. Highly highly HIGHLY recommended!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“I stayed in 4 hotels during my holiday in Korea and Kimchee is definitely the best. Its near MRT Station, the room is big and clean, nice staff and good facility... :) very vey satisfied”
“Value for money Each time I go to South Korea, I always stay here for several days. What I like the most is the bed room is spacious & clean. Baggage storage is provided free of charge so I can leave my baggage when I go to another city. It's on Hongdae but far enough from the crowded area so I don't hear any noise, screams at the night like what I experienced on another guesthouse. From All of Kimchee branches that I have been, I found that the staffs here are always more friendly although the staffs are constantly changed each year. This time I only remember one of the staff's name Maknae but the other staffs are also nice. The manager always say hi when I was in the lounge. The staff kindly enough to upgrade my room from mix to female, free of the charge since they still have more empty rooms. Shampoo & body wash are provided but I found that room 301 doesn't even have the container. The hand soap container on 4th floor, in front of the sink is always empty. Hope this can be fixed.”
“Next door to Hanyang Hospital with many cheap reastaurants closeby. Stay Seoul has washing machine and cooking facilities Very close to E mart supermaket lines 2 and 5 and airport bus 6010. The owner's son was very helpful!”
“This place was a great start to our trip to Korea! The owner is very friendly and it's near the War Museum and the subway. And a good value for the breakfast and free water. It can be tricky to find, but it's new so hopefully there will be a bigger sign in the future.”
“From the check in, greeting with welcome beer. Staffs are very friendly and shared Korean dishes, it was so touching and delicious. In the common area many games like dart, billiard and foosball table, video game enjoyable. Local cheap beer with kpop music was awesome, easy to make friends in there. Art paintings even in the bathrooms, 3d feeling sharks and dolphins sleep together wow ! Room was very clean as well. Highly recommended place for the best travel, this hostel made my best travel and memories in Seoul. two thumbs up !”
“perfect location. the Guesthouse is small and cozy. I definitely recommend this place. the best bed that I have in korea. Tom is very kind, nice and helpful ”
“Me and my partner stayed one night at Haeundae beach and we loved this little hostel! 5 minutes to the beach and the subway and we were able to check in early to our private room which was clean, spacious with a large tub and shower. We had a view of the sea from our window and were pleased to find out a good breakfast was included. Not many places we have stayed in Korea offered a free breakfast so it was a lovely touch. We would definitely recommend and stay again in the future.”
“Very nice facilities, and exceptionally clean. The only downside is they basically kick you out for 4 hours each day from 11am-3pm while they clean the place, rooms and lounge area. If you're out exploring the city that's fine, though if you're expecting to be at the hotel it's a little inconvenient. This place is only a couple minutes walk from Busan train station, down a quiet side street. It's also only about 10-15 minutes walk from the international passenger terminal at the port.”
“the fare base is supreme value for money compare to location, facilities, cleanness and staff member. it is best suggested to people who come to busan by train because it is just opposite to busan station. ”
“Kimchee Sinchon Guesthouse has the most friendly atmosphere that any hostel can offer compared to other guesthouses I have stayed on. The moment I reserved my booking from Agoda.com, I was contacted separately through email by their staff confirming my stay with them and offered assistance as to what particular need I may require prior to my arrival. Upon check-in, the reception desk is glamorously decorated indicating the place's friendly and vibrant atmosphere. I was well-assisted. She's the coolest and hippest receptionist I have ever encountered. Since I arrived earlier than check-in time, she offered me to leave my luggages since I came from a long flight to Seoul. She then offered me travel tips as well as transportation guides since it was my first time in South Korea. In all, Kimchee Sinchon is a place that can clearly meet one's needs for a place to stay and refresh after a day of touring around and sightseeing - a decent bed, shower and toilet facilities which are periodically cleaned. Oh, I might forget the cozy basement they've got. It houses the kitchen, lounge, dining, internet facilities, free Wii, laundry and the awesome dart game. You can definitely hang on the basement and meet other fellow guests staying in the guesthouse and make some new acquaintances.”
“I stayed here for 2 weeks and met new friends from Malaysia, Japan, and Indonesia. Close to subway station, convenience store, walking distance to Myeong Dong and DDP. It's quiet, clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to South Korea.”
“This is my first time in South Korea, it is really lucky to have chosen such a nice hostel. The owner of the hostel is Mr Lee, who is a really nice guy, he even cook fast noodle for me and teach me some very useful korean sentences. Next time, when I go to Seoul again, I will still stay in is hostel! Give some advices to Lee: u need more sports!!”
“So I'm a solo traveler and I looked for an affordable priced hostel in South Korea. Luckily I found this Yakorea Hostel in Cheonggu District in Korea. The price is very affordable. I took the mixed dormitory type room cause for me what's the sense of booking a solo room when after all I'm out the entire day. And I love to be in a mixed room and so I can make chit chat with my roomates. So there.. The place is so great and most importantly, the Manager is very very accomodating. He's very charming and you'll really feel welcomed. I am very very satisfied with Yakorea Hostel.”
“I had a wonderful stay at the Cocoa Guesthouse. The staff are very welcoming and they engage in small conversations to make you feel at home :) The guesthouse is very clean especially the bathrooms and shower and there is an enough number for every floor. I went there during winter season the only downside is, it doesn't have centralized heating but they provide a heater for each room and the walls are thin you can hear the conversations of the adjacent rooms. “The best thing about this hostel is that it has a really big common room with good atmosphere and it is opened 24 hrs. My friends and I bought some drinks and chatted all night there lol And this cheap price even includes the breakfast(toasts with jams, butter, and milk with cereal) It is really convenient for us to have our breakfast in the hostel on our last day cuz we were in a hurry to the airport.”
“We were in South Korea for 2 weeks and from the 5 hostels that we have been to this was the best. Everything was great in all aspects even the coffeeshop has great coffee :) keep it up! ”
“They let me stay in a two bed room dorm even though I booked a four beds dormitory. And I was there by myself. What a nice surprise! There's unfortunately no window though (maybe in the other rooms, I don't know). The bed got cleaned every day. There's enough bathrooms available and they're clean. There's a small and free breakfast (toast, eggs, jam, orange juice). The roof top terrace is super nice! I met lovely people there, the staff is very helpful.”
“Its great value for your money...imagine a solo room with shower at a cheaper price...with breakfast ..although i was only able to have breakfast once or twise because i had to go earlier for the booked tours...near the subway, 100 steps from JONGNO 5...the cozy place...very clean that i hate to mess up things...the best thing about Star hostel is the staff...Mr.chan was accommodating..good command of english...helped me with tour bookings...subway ride....attended to my concerns....easy and fun to converse with...in short...THE BEST PLACE FOR SOLO TRAVELLER.”
“It's under international management and so they can only do their best but not on a consistent standard. However, since they are mostly travellers they are very considerate and helpful.”
“We had a bit of a hard looking for the place when we first arrived in Busan, BUT the owner (or one of the owners) was kind enough to pick us up in McDonalds. He saved our lives. He was so nice and accommodating. a definite 5 star in my book. Take note, no additional charges or whatsoever, it was all just a value added service.”
“I think that it's kind of difficult to find a decent place in Busan (especially Haeundae) that's not too expensive, or if a place is cheap, it's full of sleezy people. However, D Plan Space Guesthouse is very decent and doesn't break your bank! It's a little pricey for a hostel, but that's because of it's awesome location (5 minute walk from the beach) and because it's a nice and new place. The best part about the place is the amazing staff, which consists of one guy named Lee. He was so kind and helpful. His English is near perfect, and he just seems like an all-around great person. I definitely recommend D Plan Space Hostel to anyone traveling to Busan. I don't think you'll be disappointed. :)”
“Location is fine, walk down to the beach is 4mins, there's a nice bar with a nice sea view at the beach. Take 2-3 turns/corners, there's a 25 year beef soup restaurant, best soup I've ever had in Korea. Hotel is fine, floor heating system, the only bummer is check in time at 4pm, check out 11am. ”
“I stayed in this guest house 3 days and really like this guest house. It's located nearly the subway station (just 3 mins by walking). The reception is really nice, speak English well. The housekeeping is super nice, friendly eventhough she doesn't speak English (I haven't seen any friendly housekeeping like her in Korea, I wanna say thanks to her again). They provide good services including free washing machine. If I come to Busan, I will definitely stay here again. Unluckily, I coundn't find any guest house like this in Seoul. Highly recommend.”
“* cleaness for room and not smelly , toilet , and bed and blanket was soft n clean . * Location near exit 3 hongik subway which is very near to airport line (direct line from airport only cost 3.850 won .. Hohoho ) * free breakfast (orange juice, bread , egg etc) . freakfast was good . * value of money for this hostel compare to other * owner was very awesome , she was very friendly , very morning she keep teach us korea language ,how to bargain think , how to go to places to shopping etc. Very nice... the last and the special is she bring us to airport gate and help us carry of bagage was so so awesome. Strong recommended for this hostel dan sure i will back again next year”
“The owner is very nice and she comes to the guesthouse in the morning and at night daily to make sure everything is alright. The guesthouse is very clean since the owner clean it everyday. She provides all the bathroom stuff and even skin care products. This guesthouse locates at the corner of the Main Street in Hongik University area, but it is quiet at night so it ensures me a good sleep. The guesthouse has three rooms, since there were only two guests during the period I stayed, I was able to occupy the whole room by myself. The owner can speak fluent Japanese and Korean, but only very simple English, so maybe a bit difficult to talk with her, but she always tries her best to understand and chat with me. All in all, the guesthouse has exceeded my expectation and good value of money.”
“My best friend and I love this place. Mr Kim was really friendly and helpful with the luggage, maps, attraction places and even tell us which buses and trains to get. The location is really strategic, although it is hard to find for the first time. Mr Kim took the struggles to look for us as we went a bit further ahead from the house. We took the private room, and love the heating during spring as it gets colder at night. Mr Kim was also really helpful and generous to let us stay another night at the same rate as our flight to Jeju Island was cancelled due to bad weather. The place is good for solo, small group or couple, but not for elderly people as there is no elevator. Overall was a wonderful stay. Will definitely come again.”

“Lotte jeju is one of the two best hotels in south of jeju island. It is a little expensive, but the hotel experience will be more than you paid for. the beach side rooms have a really stunning view of the beach under the cliff. nice outdoor pool with warm water. nice food. very good”
“Pros: - The location is very nice.
“It was our mini honeymoon in Korea, the staffs are kind and the resort was was fancy. Especially the room was really big and cozy. And I want to say thank you for upgrade our room for free :)”
“Seoul has a discret charm. This place makes the most ot it. Great view of the town. If you plan to visit the town with the city bus the stop is in front of the hotel, the airport limousine bus will also drive you there and leave you in front of the lobby. The service is top, everyone speaks excellent english which is not the case in all the tourist hotels and is always very helpful. With the club room i had on the 18 th floor, breakfast was served in the loundge , as well as snacks and drinks from 5.30 to 7.30, all very good and complentary. It is not cheap, but other 5 star hotel are near same price without the same quailty of service. Avoid the french restaurant prices are a rip off, there is a shuttle to itewan (it takes 5 minutes), an area where you find plenty of cheap or middle range restaurant.”
“I stayed for 2 nights in 92nd floor. The view is stunning. Breakfast was less choice compared to the other 5 stars hotel but it's ok. The staffs were very polite and take a very good care of us. Easy for shopping and dinning.”
“Stayed at hotel on last night of business trip prior to leaving South Korea. The hotel is in my belief catering for mid-long stay clients as rooms are more like apartments with fully fitted kitchen, living area and bathroom. The standard of room was best we encountered on visit to South Korea and we had pleasure in eating on restaurant on night of stay and again quality of food was best we had on trip. Did not have time for breakfast in morning due to early flight but again shuttle service to airport (for nominal charge) was excellent. Will certainly stay again if visiting area and highly recommend to anyone looking for a home from home. Located near Incheon Centre with variety of bars and restaurants for those staying for a longer break.”
“Located at the south of Jeju, it was a long drive from airport. The hotel is pretty much amazing if you are there to chill and stay in the whole time. Love the room! And the fact that there weren't many people, makes sleep much better after a long day.”
“First time for me to stay at the Oakwood COEX. We had booked the one bedroom apartment, the room is huge with completed kitchen facilities, living room is specious and the bedroom is very comfortable, view was great. Staff are so friendly they are willing to help and friendly. Best gym and swimming pool facilities. I will definitely stay here again next time when I visit Korea.”
“The Haevichi is located on the south-eastern tip of Jeju-island, midway between Seongsan Ilchulbong and Seogwipo City along the coast. We stayed on the hotel annex (as opposed to the resort annex) of the property. The hotel compounds are beautifully designed and you have a lovely view of the ocean from most parts of the lobby. Our superior room was spacious, modern, tastefully furnished and very well maintained. Free Wifi is available within the room and most parts of the hotel. The bathroom is also very spacious and well designed. This is definitely one of the most luxurious and comfortable accommodations on Jeju-island. As some reviewers mentioned, the hotel is located on a relatively remote part of the island. The city of Seogwipo is a 30 mins drive away and Jeju city (and the airport) is about an hours drive away. However if you rented a car (as we did), it was no hassle at all. We wanted to see sunrise at Seongsan Ilchulbong and the hotel is a quick 20 min drive from the foot of the Ilchulbong. It is also a stop on the Olle Trail #4. In terms of dining options, the restaurant at the hotel lobby serves decent international fare and also offers a nice breakfast buffet spread. Outside the hotel, there is a bunch of restaurants within 5 min walk of the hotel, along the coastal roads. The small town of Pyoseon is a quick 3-5 min drive away, provides more dining options. You can also find a convenience store, a bakery (Paris Baguette) and some drinking/coffee places there. All in all, we had a wonderful stay here and will not hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to Jeju-do.”
“I really enjoyed staying at the Lotte World Hotel in South Korea. The rooms were well presented, and keep very clean. It was close to all amentities, subway, shopping mall, etc. It was beside Lotte World Amusement Park. The amusement park was excellent. The gym, pool, sauna, etc was excellent at the hotel. The only downside to the Hotel was the bed was too hard. ”
“We didn't expect Park Hyatt Busan to have such amazing views of the Marina, or for the rooms to be so nice. We booked the basic rooms and even those were great. Almost everything in the room was controlled using the touch panels by the bed, the separate shower and bath tub were perfect too. Good pressure in the shower, and the bath tub also faced a TV if you wanted to watch something while you soak. Everything was new and well maintained, the staff were attentive and friendly, and the Marina views every morning were lovely. The massage at the spa was good too. The hotel is near several cafes, restaurants and bars, all facing the marina. It's a lovely area for an evening stroll.”
“Best Value - 3 bedrooms Well-furnished, Clean Best Service - Second time staying, this time my washing machine had some problems at 10.30pm, contacted the concierge team and within 5 minutes, the servicemen arrived to fixed it. Will definitely stay here everytime I come to Jeju. ”
“I had never been to the Walker Vista before so it was the first time. My wife and I had wanted to go to an outdoor pool hotel but unfortunately it wasn't open until June 22nd which was a let down when we first arrived. Still the manager did her best to make us feel better about our stay by giving us an upgrade which was much appreciated. Even without the use of the outdoor pool I feel this hotel has a lot to offer such as one of the best hotel gym's that I've been in within Seoul. The indoor pool was bright and has an outdoor sunbathing patio which I thought was a great extra to cool off as it gets a bit humid in there. The hotel was extremely clean, even the TV remote has a plastic cover that is replaced with every guest. This hotel also has a unique outside garden patio area to sit that has foot sauna's and hammock to watch the stars at night. I believe that this hotel holds one of the best value for money in Seoul especially in the summer months.”
“Everything was good. Beautiful garden (garden itself was good, but you can find better feelings when you sit on the bench), nice in-room spa (but if you want hot watered in-room spa, you need to contact to the hotel before you arrive), good city view from my room (the view will be differnt by rooms), great breakfast (you can make your own juice with carrots, apples, oranges), and well-made outdoor swimming pool (although the weather was slightly cold, but me and my wife enjoyed a lot). Unfortunately, two things were disappointed. One thing is the water supply system. When I was took a shower in the shower booth, then my wife started washing her hands at washstand, suddenly hot water became quite a bit colder. I was surprised, and of course, I claimed about it to the front desk staff. The other thing is extra expenses. You should know that prices of everything provided by this hotel is at least tripled - compared with normal prices of Korea.”
“Reviewed December 4, 2010 I stayed 2 nights in the Intercontinental and found the hotel good. Check in was fast and clear, rooms are spacious and they have all comfort which I expect in a 5 star hotel. The staff is doing their utmost to serve their guests in the best way. Also the hotel gym is one of the best I ever visited. Great equipement with excellent service. Top class ! Though, also a few minus points : * I took the rate including breakfast. Before going to my business meeting, I wanted to grab some breakfast and then jump in a taxi. Though, there was a loooooong line in front of the breakfast restaurant. Both days. In both cases, I could not take the breakfast because the capacity is not enough to host all guests for breakfast. Except if you have the time to queue for 30 minutes. Be warned ! * Prices for a simple drink in the bar are outragous. 12000 Won for a simple, local, small beer. Note that you have to add 20 percent on top. Also a Coke or some water is breaking all price records. Alternatively, take the elevator down and walk 2 min towards the underground shopping mall (direction metro). There is a 7/11 selling drinks at a fraction of the price. A whole family can get drunk here for the price of 1 Cass beer in the hotel. Crazy.”
“We happened to book Nest Hotel given it's superb rating on Agoda and because of its proximity to Incheon Int'l Airport as we were only transiting for a day. We can't be any more happier with our decision. From the shuttle bus that picked us up at the airport, to the room service, everything was excellent. Not only were we provided with the best of service, but the hotel was a minimalist wonder with interesting details as well as making absolute great use of its space. Now, we're even more encouraged to discover other Design Hotels of the world. We definitely got the most value of our stay and this hotel would be our next choice of stay while in transit. Two thumbs up!”
“I am very impressed witg Phoenix Park Ski resort. The hotel provides us all necessary kitchenware to prepare meals. Also, Customers has a variety of restaurant choices including Korean restaurant, KFC, Domino Pizza, and cofe benene. Plus, There is a supermarket in the resort area. The ondul condo is very clean and warm, you have to bring your own bathroom amenity such as toothbrush, shampoo, liquid soap etc. My best impression of my trip is Ms Kim, a receptionist staff on New Year Day. I left my bag and thought I lost it in the toilet at another building. I rushed to the condo and asked Ms Kim to help find the bag, she accompanied me back to the building , communicated with the staff, looked into the cctv with me and finally found the maid who help kept my bag with all my money and passport inside. She was so sweet and very much impressed me with her hospitality. I will definitely visit Korea and stay at the resort again.”
“The room was clean and all the staff was kind. But they charged for everything and it was quite expensive. I guess this is the reason why the accommodation price was rather cheap than other five star hotels in Jeju. Make sure to download their App before visit.”
“The natural surroundings of the hotel is just beautiful. The best place to enjoy the cherry blossoms in Korea. The staff is exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful. Lovely to stay in the Douglas annex with its cozy atmosphere.”
“The hotel is a little pricey for what you get, but then again, Korea hotels are all fairly high. My wife and I had a 9:05am flight and being so close to the airport made it much easier. We were also able to check in at 1:30pm so we had almost a full day. Staff was friendly. Deluxe King room was clean and comfortable.”
“My family and I vacationed here during our summer vacation. It was "Golden Week" in Korea so we ended up paying double the regular rate. So that's why I rated the value for money a 3 star. It is beautiful and very nice. Everything is modern and even the entrance is very grand. Our room had partial view, but it was perfect. We saw the harbor and the sea-green water. We had two beds in the room and each were large (definitely not single beds). The room and bathroom were very clean, as well. The water in the hotel is hot when first turned on. That was a surprise. If you don't plan to go out, you can go upstairs to the rooftop and have some drinks. The food menu wasn't vast, but the beer was unlimited. Also, the view from the rooftop is AMAZING. When you go out to the large terrace and look below, you can see the coral and sea-green water. I actually didn't know that mainland Korea had that color sea. If you want to leave the hotel, you need a car. Nothing is close by walking.”
“We were not sure in the beginning if it's the right choice to stay in Gyeonju but it turned out to actually to be the best. We also check other hotels during our stay, including Hilton, but Hyunday somehow looked better. We felt that many other hotels in the area were actually a bit sub-standard and too much targeted to local tastes (in food, decoration, etc.). If you are looking for a good, clean, international level hotel, Hyunday fits perfectly. You do not get too much local feeling inside, but it's also not a culture shock if you are for the first time in Korea. We preferred to leave the cultural part for the visits, museums, restaurants outside the hotel. The buffet was ok, but we loved the separate Italian restaurant also located in the hotel. About the location, it's not really central, but actually since all tourist sites are so far apart, you need to take a bus anyway. They run regularly in front of the hotel. And it's much better to stay next to a lake, surrounded by parks, than in the downtown, in the case of Gyeonju.”
“The second time I have visited South Korea to see my son who has been working there for over three years. Best hotel for the visit.”
“Best hotel i have stayed in South Korea. Comfortable king size bed and big room. Clean toilet. Themed floor. Friendly staff and accommodating. Outside lots of shops and food restaurant. Minutes walk to Myeongdong subway station.”
“Location is superb but the room is really small but this is consider ok in South Korea. We booked the room with no windows due to the low rate and worry about the room being too dark. The room was really good with sufficient lighting and the hotel actually built artificial windows to make the room feels better.”
“have seafood market near hotel area you can enjoy korea like in beautyful city near 38 line. many attracttive place to visit.dont miss this hotel”
“Room is in good condition with walkable distance to Myeongdong. Be back to this hotel again for next time in South korea.”
“I stayed 4 different hotels in Korea this trip, Benikea I-Jin stood out best. Not so much in terms of rooms. I'll say every staff I encounter the moment I step in till I left 3 days later have been extremely helpful & patient. Suggestion given by them (directions, Restaurants are well thought of) A special thanks to Hyun, think he's Morning Manager. He's so ever patient and friendly. Lotsa good restaurants within walking distance. Safe neighbourhood to walk even at night. Do get the hotel map. It is packed with useful info like bus routes, restaurants and popular tourist sites. Highly recommended to stay!!”
“pj hotel was the best place to stay during our trip in south korea. the room was very clean, with good heater. the hotel is located near subway (euljiro 3-ga) and airport bus stop. it also provides shuttle bus to various tourist spots. the staffs were very helpful and friendly, and they speak english fluently. it was a big help for us who can not speak korean. we did not try the hotel food, so we will give a neutral review on that one”
“Best hotel we stayed at in our 30 day trip to Asia. It was a very nice hotel with a view of the ocean if you wished. The rooms were very clean and very nice, especially for the price. Staff was friendly and the most accommodating so far. We’ve learned that checking in earlier than 3pm isn’t exactly okay with most places in Japan or South Korea (which is a pain in the butt) but this hotel let us check in way early! Would totally recommend and stay again!”
“This has to be the best place. It is the CBD area which makes travelling around so easy. We took a train from the airport to the hotel. The train station is 3 minutes walk from the hotel. We used the Subway Korea App or Naver App to guide us through our journeys since most Koreans don’t speak English. There were a lot of Korean and Western eateries and cafes. Namedaemun street is about 15 minutes and if you walk further down from there for another 15 minutes (or longer if you plan to shop along the way) you will get to Myendong. Both great places to shop and eat street food. We stayed in the family suite for a week and was so surprise with the room. It had a little kitchenette with a microwave, bar fridge and island but no cooking facilities but that didn’t bother us as food was accessible. There was a living room with a TV, a closet and bay sitting area. The room had two queen size beds with another closet, TV and the bathroom had a shower cubicle, toilet, bathtub and his and hers vanity. It was really a great stay and great deal after a long day out in the cold to come back to a nice heated room. Oh and the view! We could see the hills from our room and the city lights. Room and turn down service was good. Overall, great hotel! Worth the money.”
“This hotel is really a stone's throw from the beach and has great views of the beach. Book the beach facing views if you would like to wake up every morning to a spectacular view. It might be a little further away from the city and Gamcheon Village but it's conveniently located near to a train station and has lots of eateries and shopping within the vicinity. It's also a 20min bus ride away from the largest premium outlet in South Korea!”
“This is my 2nd stay of this hotel, the 1st time was July 2017 & Sept is my 2nd. i stay here again as this is very new, and very close to Hongdae station. and there is airport bus stop in 5 min walk. also many restaurants, coffee shop is surrounded. so it is a perfect location for me. the best thing of my stay is i check in on 10 Sept pm but i was so unlucky to have a serious abdominal pain during my stay, i finally asked my friend to go to the front desk to call for ambulance service in midnight. i was safely sent to one of the best hospital in Seoul - the yongsae university surveillance hospital. i was diagnosed as Appendicitis so i need an urgent surgery. the hotel staff was so kind to me & my friend during i was in hospital, they let my friend leave without checkout time. Then my husband arrived Seoul to check me up, he also stayed at the same hotel. i would like to express my sincere thanks to this hotel & its staffs for all the assistance on my emergency case & during my stays.”
“I don't usually write reviews but this is the best place I have stayed in Seoul so far (and I've been to Seoul several times already). The room is very clean and well equipped. Well furnished and very modern. The location is ideal for those who enjoy shopping and eating. Very convenient because it's right in Myeongdong. The hotel got my booking wrong (I booked for 2 nights but told me I booked for 3 when we arrive); however, everything was resolve immediately when I show them my booking email from Agoda. Will definitely stay here again.”
“Oriens Hotel & Recidence ... Small hotel but with big + great + helpfully + kind staffs. Strategic Location, you can reach some of the tours destination only by walk, eg : Myeongdong streets like Harajuku in Tokyo but has the famous night market ... Namdaemoon - Korea traditional products market with cheapest price - compared with other place in Seoul ..... Cable car to reach Seoul Tower or they call N Tower. In This place you can find ❤ fences & tress locks & historical Korean patriot hall & Teddy bear museum .... Catholic Cathedral.... Korean house ... Korean street museum .... & many more .... All of are only by walk 👌. Close with : Bus stops : To go to airport or city tour or regional city bus destination .... 3 minutes Chungmuro train station ... 5 minutes Myeongdong train station ... 10 mnts Police station .... 2 minutes Hope 1 day ... I can go back to Seoul & stay at Oriens Hotel & Residence. God bless you all.”
“The staffs in the Reception were friendly and welcoming and all of them were fluent in English. An incident happened during my stay and they were professional in handling of such. Booked a ocean view room with a very good upgrade fee via Agoda, and the view was really nice which facing the beachfront and sea. However, the standard rooms are a bit small but good enough under this price. Free parking is available and their car park is located in two floors of the hotel's basement. Directions are clear and easy to find when you drive in. Just be aware that all parking spaces are occupied when you are returning late during weekends. Lots of local eateries around the hotel (e.g. fried chicken, Jeju BBQ pork; etc) and a 24 hours convenient store is located right on the ground floor of the hotel. Our room rates did not come with breakfast and we paid to try with a reasonable price. The buffet breakfast contains lots of Western choices with comfortable seating. If you wake up early in the morning, don't miss a chance to cross the road and enjoy the breeze of sea.”
“Beds were comfortable. Nice bathtub and automatic toilets. Very nice room design. Superb location with many public buses to many locations just in front of the hotel. Only complaint is that they do not have any swimming pool or gym which I thought every 4 star hotel would have ”
“There are so many hotels to choose from in the Myeongdong area, it was really hard to choose, but we really lucked out with the Pacific Hotel. All of the staff were so pleasant, helpful, and friendly. The room was spacious and clean, and the location is a block from the subway station - you walk up the street to the right of North Face and you can't miss it. I honestly can't believe it doesn't have more stars, especially with all the amenities - free WiFi, hair dryer, fancy bidet, toiletries, and a safe. Because I wasn't sure how nice Pacific Hotel was going to be, I booked the second leg of our stay in Korea at a hotel just a block away, but wish I would have just booked at Pacific Hotel again. Other reviewers complain or note that it was annoying to not control the AC, but it's a completely fine temperature and you acclimate to the set temperature really easily. We didn't get a room with much of a view, but we weren't in Korea to enjoy the room's view so it didn't bother us at all.”
“Stay was fantastic, although we only stayed one night - we were able to check in early and enjoy the proximity to the beach and the market for our one night stay. Rooms were huge and beautiful. Out of the 14 nights we stayed in South Korea I think this was my favorite hotel.”
“Wanted to stay at a quieter place away from Jeju city, but not too far away from the airport either. This is a new hotel, so gave it a try. Booked a deluxe room (double + single beds) with sea views. Room was located at a higher floor. It was spacious and the amenities were very new. Location wise, there is a bus stop in front of the hotel that goes to the city. However we didn't use it. Took a taxi whenever we wanted to go to the city, cost around SGD8-10 per trip. Most of the reception staff understood and spoke minimal English (only met 1 or 2 whom could speak really well). However, it would help if you could try to speak slower and do some research beforehand on the places that you wanted to visit. Despite the language barrier, they were still very helpful towards understanding my requests and helped to act as a translator between the taxi driver and us. Buffet breakfast at the hotel was an optional add-on. Quite expensive though the food quality was not bad. Limited dining options around the hotel. There is a fast food chain outlet (Lotteria) around 8mins walk away from the hotel. A fried chicken chain outlet (Nene chicken) just beside the hotel. A few convenience stores also located within walking distance from the hotel.”
“Dear Hotel 28, At first, i have no clue about your hotel, but when I arrived, you really made my day and wrap-up the entire visit to Korea. Not only because of your hotel interior design but also your staff and the way your hotel rooms was designed, thumbs up to all those. Your hospitality beats those bigger hotels with star ratings, no one of those can really beats u on the hospitality services, you hv a very well trained staff and very accommodating to my request and I can see they are passionate in handling their guests, good eye contacts, good body language and good communicators. Well i cant say much, but its really worth it staying at your hotel. I am definitely come back again and will surely recommend your hotel to my friends and families. Thank you and may your occupancy spur witu good ARR. Special thanks to Ryan, Lily and one more girl i forgot her name that was on duty with Lily on that 22nd May, and those aat your coffee house and all of them are your main assets. They are superb! Till.we meet again. Love😘😘😘 Regards.”
“It was our first trip to Seoul , the hotel staff are very helpful and friendly , the room is very clean and cosy. There are Starbucks , one local tiny cafe , two 24 hours conveniences store and Lotte Young Department Store beside the hotel , subway station is accessible via the Lotte Department Store. Myeongdong shopping district is just oppsite via the underground tunnel . We will stay at Crown Park Hotel for our next South Korea vacation !”
“This was our first time to visit South Korea with very minimum knowledge about the country. It was a great stay as it is close to several stations and bus stops. It is also walking distance to the center of attraction in MyeongDong. Foods are there till quite late night. Convenience store also very close. The staff quite nice and willing to help though sometimes a bit difficult for me to capture their English. Unfortunately there was an accident that we found several very small pieces of broken glass on the second day that hurt one of my family (bleed) and made us bit afraid as we travel with young children. The info about taxi we book to go to airport that we confirm to be able to be paid by card also invalid. Fortunately we still had enough cash to pay. But overall I can't agree more that this is one of the Great option to stay in South Korea.”
“The reason for the hotel card is so we can use it to come back to the hotel - fantastic! We will definitely go back and very soon too :) Also we forgot our gloves so we went back to our room - the housekeeper politely (constantly greeting us and bowing) waited for us outside our room until we left Location of the hotel is so close to Naedaemun market, Seoul Tower and plenty of food places. Its right next to a subway but you can also take a leisurely walk to Seoul Station too. It was our first trip to South Korea - its now on my top list of vacation places!”
“The place is located in near the stations and most business area in there such as google Korea. And the hotel is the most fitted as a business hotel near in gangnam, clean internal space and most of furnitures are brand new. Good to staying place and will use in next time.”
